you probably know this post yea? a while back i developed a cross stitch pattern for a patch with this design! i love it so much and i realized i still had the pattern so i wanted to share with all of you! you can use whatever colors you’d like, i chose red and blue :3 i’d love to see what you make if you decide to do it yourself!!

I decided 3 days ago to order plain green hats and sew my butterflies onto them so now I have business hats to show off at next weeks event

Me: Clearly the only logical course of action is to create an embroidery pattern of Master Chief by hand on graph paper, cut up an old curtain, and use modified cross-stitch through two layers of fabric to put John Halo Himself on my otherwise crappy pair of jeans.

I'm gonna make some shrimp patches and I'm thinking about creating a small kit so you can make your own small sea creature patch. I'll include a short instruction, a pattern and cross stitch material. Would you people be interested in something like that?

I finished the big cross-stitch project. Might cry about it. Now I just have to make a companion patch that says "High Noon Over Camelot" on it. Definitely NOT in cross-stitch.

I thought I might also show off some of my cross-stitch patches during @aggressivelyarospec's Aggressively Arospectacular, especially my collection of quoi, nebula and vague patches (as an aro who floats about said trifecta of identities because comprehending attraction and my relationship to it is difficult).

I do have more: these are just the patches I have yet to attach to my backpack and jacket. It's just so much less fun to sew my patches onto things than it is to sew the patches, so I have a huge backlog!

edited sprites based on the work of the Mod.Gen Project Team on spriters-resource.com (originally this was rouge and shadow :3) editing the sprites was a lot of fun it was a really low stress project that i think will make an amazing addition to my patch jacket :3

Currently making patches, collecting pins and can tabs for my jacket (got it cheap at an op shop was so excited finding it, even has pockets!) and thought this would be the perfect place to show when I stitch them on! These are what I've done so far✨

Corinne brought home some scrap fabric from a craft supply swap at her work and I realized it was actually cross-stitch fabric, and i already had an embroidery hoop+floss so I have decided to teach myself cross-stitch. Here's my first one:

Because my main project for @aggressivelyarospec's Aggressively Arospectacular is all about the aromantic flag, I thought I'd add some yellow and gold to proceedings with a photo of some of the allo-aro cross-stitch patches I've made over the years.

I do have more: these are just the patches I have yet to attach to my backpack and jacket. Is it more fun to sew the patches then it is to sew the patches onto something else? Absolutely!
