Because I am a complete mess of a person, I forgot to put a few on my original list, so good news for the person who suggested Wizard from Stardew Valley a bit late: Because of my stupidity, he is now on the bracket!

We have a total of 104 contestants! This will be a standard single-elimination tournament. Match-ups were completely randomized, although for the first round I did not allow match-ups between two characters from the same franchise.

Alright tumblr, help me out here:

I'm trying to name a Dhampir (originally shadar kai) (blood) cleric/(phantom) rogue, and I'm stuck between three names:

If you want some extra context, here it is:

[Name] (they/he) is from the Shadowfell originally, and a member of the Tenebrous Cabal-- a school/secret society that focuses on the study of nercomancy and shadow magic. However, this is in the far distant future of the Forgotten Realms setting (we're playing a cyberpunk flavored campaign), and the gods have all died. The Shadowfell is falling to pieces, Gloomwrought is a more volatile place to live than ever before, the Raven Queen's residual power being the only thing to keep the entire plane from being rent asunder. They were part of some kind of ritual which turned them into a dhampir and gave them a divine connection to the Raven Queen's power. He ended up leaving the Shadowfell to find a way to reanimate/revive the Raven Queen (or maybe become a god himself 👀)

Rather than live in the modern world, Hep has decided to live in the future, a place where he can make a name for himself as the most renowned supernatural bounty hunter. Life is dirty, bloody, and good. Well it was until he gets the bounty for the one Greek God (or rather Goddess) he never expected to see... the goddess of Love, Aphrodite. Aphrodite is the Goddess of Love who currently live sin the modern world, after finally reconciling with her son Eros, she is on the straight and narrow, running her successful companion business. Yet she has one little secret... her powers are nearly gone... they’ve disappeared and she has no idea why. When her childhood friend and someone she’s had a crush on since forever shows up to claim a bounty on her after not seeing her for years... to say she’s mad is putting it lightly. Hep has always been in love with Aphrodite, but she is the unattainable, he’s tried to nip his crush in the bud. How can someone so beautiful and perfect love someone as grim, dirty, and scarred as him? When Hep shows up to collect the bounty for Aphrodite... things take a turn and he is definitely going to have to turn the client down... which means now they’re both on the run from the client who has now placed a bounty on both of them. Now Hep and Aphrodite must work together to figure out how to end their bounty, save themselves, and finally face the feelings they have for one another. They’ll have to fight off against hunters, harpies, ancient beings, old enemies, and vengeful individuals from their past. This was such a cute and fun retelling of the relationship between Hephaestus and Aphrodite. The romance was great and the chemistry between them was adorable. The cyberpunk storyline mixed in with Greek mythology was so much fun and definitely such a unique take on the story! I can’t wait to read the rest of the retellings from this author and see what her next couple/story goes!

Transpunk AU: Lady Eros of the Elysium Club / Hedonis of Night City

**MATURE WARNING: Mentions of sexual themes, drug cartels, mafia shenanigans.**

Taking place in the Cyberpunk 2077 world, Night City now serves as the battleground between the two branches of the biggest megacorporations in the world: Autobots Corporation (Autobot Co.), a military vehicle and weapons production branch of Militech, and Decepticon Cyberware Security (Cyber-Cons),a militaristic cyberware and Netrunner service branch of Arasaka.

Far below their constant war within the Corpo world, survival on the streets of Night City comes in the form of invisibility, crime or gang wars. Here, you’re either a nobody just trying to survive the constant poverty that plagues the city… or you’re somebody with a gun and a plan. Edgerunners and gang leaders are the wealthiest of the lower classes, wealthy enough to be noticed by the many Corporations high above them in their towers and skyscrapers. Therefore, if you’re a denizen of Night City and you wish to live a better life… Your best option is to “chrome up” with some cybernetics, grab a gun, and make your name known across Night City.

Appearance:

Has “chromed” legs that change between high heeled, mid-thigh high boots of shiny silver, to feline digitigrade legs with soft, padded paws bearing lethal claws, her main tool for her work as a Mafia Don out on the field. *

Her eyes are also cyberware, due to their unnaturally bright icy blue irises with a hint of inner rings of gold that glow in dim light and almost like neon in complete darkness, when she activates them. When they’re not used for their intimidation factor, they allow her to zoom in on things that are far away in finite detail, see through walls using heat-detection, and allow her to see in complete darkness. *

Usually has her hair in long dreadlocks with silver-striped golden rings decorating them. Other times, when she wishes to relax her hair, she’ll tie her natural wavy afro into a low ponytail, which can reach over her shoulders in length and is very poofy and volumed in its natural state. *

On a casual day or when she is performing her duties as Lady Eros, she usually wears a dark grey, turtleneck halter crop-top with a low, and very revealing, rectangular shaped cleavage-window bearing strings criss-crossing to form little heart shapes within it (reminiscent of stained glass windows), matched with an orange mini-skirt or bootcut formal pants. *

When on stage or performing somewhere as Hedonis, she wears a sleeveless mini dress made of transparent and skin-tone coloured chiffon, with white and orange glow-in-the-dark rhinestones covering the majority of her body. It leaves nothing to the imagination, but the rhinestones in rose and vine shaped patterns cover only what needs to be hidden and displays only what is risky enough to let the eyes wander, mainly to her chest and back. Her hair and face are also painted in orange streaks to match with her outfit and to hide her identity.

Personality: Asya is generally very charismatic, flirty in a very direct and hands on way, and loves to act sensual when on stage and showing off her skills and beauty. If she can be the centre of attention and be allowed to show off, she’ll be there without hesitation. And while she’s very vain and fond of her looks, she’s also kind and proud of her empire and to those who have earned the right to be called her allies. But for those she does not yet trust… They’ll be considered her toys or drug mules in the making~

When she’s working as the Lady Don of the Eidolon Ghosts mafia, she’s usually stern and focused on her work, but still savours the chance to make her prisoners break and using more enjoyable forms of torture to get the answers out of them, or to press them into becoming her loyal workers. She always has a way of getting rid of loose ends, to make sure nothing is traced back to her. And when it comes to blackmail, interrogation and torture… None dare to grow curious into her methods. But her strength lies not just in her power as a Don… but it stems from her most loyal acolytes in the mafia, the backbone and shield of her empire…

The Cerberus Guards. Through her most powerful and undyingly faithful lap dogs, she controls everything that goes on in her empire and mafia. These loyal soldiers consist mostly in the form of cyborgs and men with strength-boosting cyberware, all of whom wear wire muzzles and collars as a test to break their egos, before it becomes their symbol of their loyalty and dedication to protecting their Lady Don and those within her empire. None are the closest to Asya than her faithful Cerberus, who in turn are rewarded with cyberware, housing, high income and being the only ones seen within her office or who can accompany her in her daytime job. The Cerberus Guards are the only ones seen in public and as a representation of the Eidolon Ghosts, who in turn are tasked in protecting the great singer “as an olive branch from the Lady herself, to show that not all mafias desire destruction”, all to hide her true identity as being the same person.

And luckily, her night life is well hidden not just under her club... but in a more secure backup location that serves as the true heart of her empire... the Olympian Underground. Not a single soul has ever been able to find it so far, as no one but Asya herself, her Cerberus Guards or one of her Cerberus chauffeurs have access to it, where right after their minds and every form of GPS in the car and phone techs will be wiped of the last hour to ensure they never remember where it is, even if they merely stop far on the outskirts of its actual location...... Not even her most faithful Ripperdocs, Elbent or KO, know about it.

As Hedonis, she’s publicly seen as nothing more than a celebrity prostitute, but instead of feeling the pressure of the public trying to put her down and humiliate her, she thrives off of that kind of hate out of pure spite to feed her ego. The more negative comments she gets, the more fuel it adds to the fire of her passion for her work. There’s no greater feeling to her than the thrill of making a music video that pushes at the boundaries of comfort, that shows a deep message under the guise of it being merely “about sex and drugs”, when a more observant eye can spot the meaning beneath the Eros and glamour. When out and about, her Cerberus Guards pay her no mind while serving their duty as bodyguards to the singer… allowing her to playfully touch, nuzzle or mock them to show how little they care about her. But behind closed doors, she always shows how thankful she is to them and their perfect performance~

Under the mask of the sensual leader and performer, however.... she's deeply afraid that one day she will be hunted down by an Edgerunner, who will come to bring her empire crashing down, find her sanctuary, and kill everyone under her protection... when all she dreamed and hoped to achieve was to merely provide a safe haven for those like her or those who needed her.

Description:

Sex, drugs and music fuel Asya’s career and life, where at night she works as both a stage performer within her own night club, Elysium, and as the leader of the Eidolon Ghosts mafia that protect it and the area of Night City that surrounds the club.

Only those closest to her and who work with her intimately in the heart of her business know her real name. For beyond the walls of her night-bound fortress, she is known only as the pop idol Hedonis, one of the few singers able to avoid the paparazzi due to her well organized and massive amount of security personnel who also guard the underbelly of her fortress, known only as the Cerberus Guards… Which works in her favour, as she uses her stardom to find her most loyal fans or merely those who are desperate enough to be her silenced couriers, mules and lackeys (silenced due to the blackmail of a timed virus bomb in their cyberware, which will go off and kill them if they do not obey the singer and finish the task on time) and deliver her most precious gift alongside the most skilled members of the Eidolon Ghosts throughout Night City…

Aphrodite’s Touch, or the Touch of the Goddess… Otherwise known by its street name, Red and Blue A.T’s.

Her medicinal drugs are known to be the only form of affordable gender affirming care, with the safer and more well known option being only available to those with the wealth of a Corpo. But with Asya’s pill version of HRT, even those barely able to afford their rent can gain their male (Blue A.T’s) or female (Red A.T’s) hormones and not risk losing their physical energy or libido as a result of the gradual and welcomed change. However… the risk comes from this lack of loss in their energy, as instead it boosts the libido of the drug taker, which Asya profits from through her club’s surface level underground business… Elysium’s brothel. THIS is how Asya gains the other half of her vast income, and why no one has yet to be able to take down her empire, due to it being an intoxicating escapism obsession for the lowest class of Night City… the only way a person can truly find joy and safety in such a society.

This drug, that even Asya takes to aid in her transition into a woman and with the energy needed for her music career, alongside her famous brothel, are the reasons why Asya is known to the public as Lady Eros.

Her closest allies are as follows:

Dr. Elbent - Former Trauma Team International paramedic, turned Ripperdoc for the Eidolon Ghosts, protected ward of Lady Eros

Dr. KO (Knockout) - Lady Eros's personal Ripperdoc

Vernie (Verglaust) - Cyborg experiment and former soldier of Militech rescued by Elbent, joined the Eidolon Ghosts and became Asya's personal guard/Cerberus lap dog.

Breaker (Breakdown) - Head of Security, the Big Brother eye on every single Cerberus and their whereabouts... alongside their immediate disposal at the first sign of disobedience or possible betrayal. Spares no expense or a single chance at someone possibly betraying them.

Into The Future (Oneshot)

Seafarer, Corrupted Psychocat, and Cattelite vibe on their way to Brazil.

The trailer drove steadily to their next location. The Cat Empire finished two full visits to the future. All they needed was to unshackle Bahamut's power next.

The Cool Japan were on one wall, chatting over Madame Sumo's recent TV skit with Inspector Gabriel. Bazibon was sipping a juice box full of lighter fluid with Aphrodite. Seafarer, Psychocat, and Cattelite sat with the two Ubers.

"So, whats up with you Psychocat? You look a bit jittery today."

"I love going on trips! More portals! More fun!"

Psychocat stimmed with his paws, resisting the urge to grow a gateway to some unknown dimension. Cattelite made some beeps.

"Calm, calm. You must enter the battle like a slow stream."

Seafarer said soothingly, fishing in a murky abyss.

"I wanna make portals!"

Psychocat bounced in his seat. Cattelite bonked into them.

"Ow! Come on Cattelite. You must be a little excited after your Catseyes."

Cattelite beeped, before moving to rest with Aphrodite. She held the little robot with one hand.

"You guys are no fun! I would talk to Gabriel, but there's no room there!"

Psychocat pouted. They made glances at Gabriel and Cool Japan. Inspector Gabriel was reciting script lines much to the groups excitement. Fried Shrimp Cat tried eating eachother.

"Ah. Whats that TV show he was talking about?"

"Its about some romance thing called Cheating Heart. Sumo thinks her husband is cheating so she gets Gabriel to solve it. Love is gross."

Cattelite made a ringing noise. It rolled into the center of the trailer cabin to broadcast some information. It opened up to reveal a holographic battleground. Cyberpunk Cat gave some background.

"Hey guys! Brazil has a piece of those Alien crystals, but Elder Sloth is also there. LeMurr is also pretty annoying, so we need all the meathshields we can get. You got a maxed Worker Cat to help too!"

Cattelite closed up and floated back to the bench. It beeped next to Seafarer.

"Hello there!"

Cattelite opened up to reveal a new message. Its from Chill Cat!

Hihi! Can I join you guys?? -Chill

Seafarer wrote back, then deleted it. Psychocat peered over.

"Nono! Here, let me write it!"

Fuck off. -Psychocat

"That is very rude!"

"Alright, I'll fix it."

Psychocat fixed his tweet. Cattelite sent it, transmitting it back.

Fuck off please. -Psychocat

"That's still very rude! You need to apologize to him when we get back!"

Seafarer plucked him by the ear.

"I don't care! We played catch ball for a bit and he ditched me! I'm still mad."

"You sucked him up like a typhoon! It took us fifteen minutes to find him."

"Fine, DAD. Not my fault Chill Cat doesn't like me."

The trailer opened up to a bright festive location. The Cat Base was dead set in front of where the enemy base was. Everyone snuck in their base to discuss the battleplan.

Cattelite would stall with the help of PsychoCat and Seafarer. Once they had enough cash, the hard hitters would come next. Seafarer could survive some blows from the sloth while Psychocat slowed the LeMurrs. The reasearch machine was pumped up to send more units in less time.

The three headed out together and prepared for the war.
