Also there IS a potential in the idea that Simon might have eyes missing, or at least injured. But probably missing.

Djura has a scar across his face passing where his covered eye is, so by occam’s razor, he is missing this eye! His data reflects both eyes but whereas developers have a secret slider to distort faces ( x ), they do not appear to have one to just make an eye gone!

Simon, however, has hard to see straight stripes/scars passing through his both eyes! I was neglecting his bandage over eyes as sort of a disguise because Harrowed hunters were supposed to imitate ‘beggars’ that nobody would want to do anything with (probably because having to cover your eyes means you are turning into a beast or are blood-drunk, naturally..), but such plain scars are a really interesting bit!

Perhaps they coulda been made just a bit more visible, but it is still a detail developers had to place this way. So like... What if this is not an added feature to make ‘move wrinkles’, but a hint towards what we should think? Tea??

(Damn though, they just happen to be symmetrical and vertical. As if whoever cut his eyes did so intentionally and calculated. Could it be Simon himself doing it, in order to make himself see the Nightmare he had a hunch about, by self-blinding? Or was it just someone like Brador injuring him in “reality” when he saw too much so he could not show?)

I don't know why I struggle so much but I am getting...somewhere.#Meta time: God damn I love how the chimera shows off the expertise and gap between Kabru and Laios.#The truth is: they are both *right* and they are both *wrong*.#This creature is a combination of monster and human and they only have the skillset to deal with one of those.#Kabru goes for all the human vitals - but she isn't human.#Laios tries to approach her as a monster and is struck down by the humanity he sees in her.#She is something new that defies what they *both* understand about the world. And that makes her such a perfect antagonist.#The damsel was the dragon all along!#...She is really so cute though. Terrifying! But adorable. I am so excited to see the boom of fanart for her.

Columbo and the Knight (1984)

put me in the universe where Columbo ran through the 1980s and had a crossover episode with Knight Rider. I think they deserved it, and I am not just saying that because they're my two favorite Old Shows. @telebeast wrote a little fanfic blurb about it and I HAD to visualize it into a comic (which is also the longest comic I have finished thus far at five pages...), so writing credit goes to them.

it makes me so insane that rhaenyra is doing to jace exactly what viserys did to her. while obviously rhaenyra cannot acknowledge her children's parentage publicly, this episode makes it clear that she has refused to acknowledge it to said children, even in private, ever. even though said children have been forced to live through stares and bullying and derision their entire lives because of it. and she continues to do things that undermine jace's claim, such that he is set up to face a potential civil war of his own when he tries to ascend to the throne. she is content to leave the consequences of her actions in having bastards for jace to deal with once she is dead, just as viserys was content to leave the consequences of his actions in making rhaenyra heir for rhaenyra to deal with once he was dead.
