Bi-Han is the type of Dad who lets you sleep through the night because he gets up with the baby every time they cry. He’s mastered warming up the milk he prepared from formula/you pumped earlier and is a pro at changing diapers and swaddling the baby, after all he is a big brother, it’s not his first rodeo even as a first time Dad. He never complains either, he just kisses your forehead every morning and thanks you for giving him a child and asks if you slept well. Most nights you don’t even wake up because the first little coo from your baby is enough to have Bi-Han up and in action, though sometimes when they’re extra fussy you do wake up and lurk in the door way to watch your husband rocking and singing to your newborn.

all i want from 9-1-1 is for one of the characters preferably chim to find out about bucks bisexuality and relationship with tommy through this:
set the scene, there’s a knock at bucks door he opens it just wearing a pair of sweats and chims at the door dropping off some wedding stuff buck agreed to help out with because maddies at work and couldn’t do it and we can hear the shower running in the background
chim: oh sorry were you about to get in the shower
buck: .. ah… yeah
*chim is about to leave when the shower turns off*
chimney then raises his eyebrow and starts grilling buck in a teasing way about the company he has over when tommy walks out dripping wet and in just towel
tommy: hey baby what did you wanna do for breakfa- oh hi howie
chimney is gobsmacked for a bit before he laughs like “hen owes me $10 now”
because while they both knew thought buck was bi before, hen definitely thought buck was trying to make eddie jealous
bonus points if/when buddie get together there’s a shot of hen getting her $10 back

Raiden:(summoning himself into Kuai Liangs home) You and I have unfinished business involving your sad excuse of a brother and "daughter". They broke in and-
Kuai Liang: Took back Kung Laos stuff. I'm aware. He had nothing. Now question is, why are you here?
Raiden: to settle this; you dare cross a God, and I shall make you regret that very decision-
Frost: (walked in to see what was happening)
Raiden: Starting with her!(he electrocuted her)
Sorry this is dumb you don't have to interact I'm just into it
This is amazing and I love it
Kuai Liang, Bi-Han, Hanzo and Kung Lao battle Raiden and manage to force him to flee and Kuai Liang immediately turns to where Frost is laying limp on the floor
Kuai Liang, trying not to panic: Frost? Frost, can you hear me?
Hanzo, turning to Kung Lao: Go get the healers, now
Kung Lao: I don't know where they-
Bi-Han: I'll go with you
Kuai Liang, getting louder as tears pool in his eyes: Frost, I need you to open your eyes for me, okay? Frost?!
Hanzo, kneeling beside him and desperately trying to keep his cool: She's going to be fine, Kuai Liang, I promise, the healers are already on their way
Kuai Liang, crying as he lifts her into his lap: Bǎo bèi?! Bǎo bèi, please, open your eyes!!
Hanzo, cradling Kuai Liang's face and trying to get him to focus: Look at me, look at me! She's going to be fine
Kuai Liang, more terrified than he's ever been in his life: She's not breathing, Hanzo, why isn't she breathing?
Hanzo, moving Kuai Liang's hand so he can feel the movement of Frost's chest: She is, it's just very faint but her heartbeat is still strong, okay? She's going to be fine
Kuai Liang, holding her tighter: My daughter, he tried to kill my daughter
Hanzo, holding back his own tears: And he failed, she's still alive
Healers run in, pulling Frost form Kuai Liang's grasp
Kuai Liang, panicking bc he thinks its another attack: BACK OFF! I WON'T LET YOU-!
Hanzo comes up behind him, pinning his arms to his sides as he holds Kuai Liang tight
Hanzo: It's okay, those are the healers, they're here to help
Kuai Liang: Let me go!
Hanzo: I can't, you have to let them do their work, you have to
Kuai Liang, tears still streaming down his face: Frost!
Hanzo: I know, love, I know how hard this is, but you have to let them help her
Kuai Liang collapses, the two kneeling on the floor once more as Kuai Liang keeps his eyes fixed on his daughter, Hanzo holding him tight and muttering reassurances
Bi-Han stares from the doorway, looking like he's seen a ghost as fury swamps him
Bi-Han: Raiden will pay for this, even if I have to bring his bloody body to Kuai Liang myself
Kung Lao: Might be easier to just take his head
Bi-Han: No. After this? The only people who get to kill that man are Kuai Liang and Frost, whatever it takes I will facilitate that

Mortal Kombat Headcanons
Tumblr media
Frost
Frost is going through a teenage rebellion of some kind. Yes, she's a bit old for one, but hey every person in their early 20's has a right to be immature. She feels a bit confused, dismissed and disrespected.
Kuai Liang was always her father figure, so Frost internalised and took the Shirai Ryu rivalry very seriously. So when Kuai Liang started making peace with Hanzo she didn't take it very well.
Frost has a wrapped sense of justice and logic thanks to her childhood, considering she killed her own mother. Before becoming a part of the Lin Kuei she lived in a bad environment. (If her mother is truly like Sindel we can only imagine and guess what that was like).
Rain flirts with her all the time, and he is genuinely interested in her. (Can we get her a boyfriend?)
Her acting out is her way of getting everyone's attention, and she believes it's a great way of proving herself.
Tumblr media
Mileena
Mileena is desperate for a relationship with Kitana, so she's willing to be an antagonist so long as it means having her attention, but there's still resentment. Even with that resentment Mileena is somewhat caring and protective of her, judging on how she doesn't want Kitana and Liu Kang to marry.
She wants love, and lots of it. She thinks that by having the throne she will be given that love, since Shao Kahn was given it.
Mileena and Frost can become friends.
If things were different, her and Skarlet would get along well.
(Skarlet should've been the Jade to Mileena's Kitana. Why Netherrealm Studios? Why?)
Tumblr media
Skarlet
Even though it was Shao Kahn that introduced her to bloodmagic, it was Shang Tsung that taught her how to cope with it. (Since he created her in the flesh pits before her backstory was retconned)
Skarlet experienced racism and classism during her early stay with Shao Kahn, and she longed for Kitana and Jade's respect. Due to their shunning she holds a harsh bitterness towards them.
Based on Rain's intro she is partially Edenian, but is mostly Outworld-ian.
Mileena and Skarlet would never admit it, but they both have a bit of a sibling bond with each other. But it's one of actual rivalry thanks to their narcissistic parental figures. Her infatuation with Shao Kahn is a sign that bloodmagic is slowly and surely leading to her insanity, before she did not view him in that way.
Erron Black is the only person she's had a relationship with. Ever since Erron she hasn't been in a relationship due to the fear of being hurt again, but she has been getting a certain Shaolin's eye on her. (I think Kung Lao was genuinely flattered when he said "We hardly know each other.")
Tumblr media
Shang Tsung
He does feel some kind of care for Mileena, but in the end she is like a dish to be proud of and served instead of growing a bond with.
He gets a bit prideful from her accomplishments, though.
"Mileena would never do that thereafter. Mileena did you do that thereafter?"
When Skarlet was much younger she used to follow him around just to see how well he would perform magic in order to improve her own skill.
Tumblr media
Noob Saibot
Noob/Bi Han takes a lot of things people say literally. Because of this he is the least antagonistic towards Johnny Cage.
His soul is enslaved so a lot of what he does is not the actual Bi Han, but he is sometimes able to break out of it to deliver a few lines.
He has mistakenly gotten into a few debates with Shang Tsung about the use of dark magic vs soul magic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kitana and Jade
Very classist and a bit racist, on Jade's part.
Were mean to Skarlet during their upbringing and intentionally isolated themselves from her.
As much as Kitana doesn't want to admit it, she is much like Shao Kahn.
Kitana is 17-19 in human years. Jade is 21-23.
(I like Kitana and Jade but there's things about them that I don't like)

In my Three Princesses AU Bi Han has a son named Shen and since I'm working on a short one shot with them I wanted to make a sketch of the little guy [He has a daughter too but only one kid is in this sketch so I'll talk about her later].
And yes Bi Han is a good dad because I said so.

Have some Good Dad!Bi-Han headcanons because I have perpetual Bi-Han baby fever!
Bi-Han is the best, most loving Dad ever and no one can change my mind, his kids are his absolute world. He’s determined not to make the same mistakes his father made.
He plays with them every chance he gets even if his busy job as Grandmaster sometimes gets in the way.
He actively makes time to be there for his children and loves his daughter(s) just as much if not more than his son(s).
He’s such an amazing Girl Dad it’s unreal, always down for a princess tea party or getting his hair braided.
He’s also really hands on with education and helps with homework all the time, he’s best at Chinese and math, but he can still help with other subjects too.
His kids attend school in the local village so they can have a normal school life and have friends and not grow up isolated and lonely like he did. He of course teaches them martial arts and cryomancy after school.
He always tucks his kids in at night and reads to them, sometimes he just freestyles and tells Chinese legends and myths passed down to him from his mother.

Some more thoughts on Bi-Han:
I'm leaning towards he doesn't really need redemption and just needs to apologize to Smoke. That part was out of line. Letting his dad die was fine (I said what I said), I don't think Bi-Han is wrong for wanting the Lin Kuei to be more than just the dogs enforcing Liu Kang's vision of peace from the shadows, while Liu Kang gives all the glory to his chosen ones.
The entire Lin Kuei believes in Bi-Han's ambition and supports him, it's just Kuai Liang and Tomas who disagree, and they're ones who acknowledge that Bi-Han is frustrated... without trying to understand why. I'm definitely getting a vibe that Kuai Liang was the golden child and nothing Bi-Han ever did was good enough, but that's getting into headcanon territory. I have more thoughts but honestly, Bi-Han's fine, the narrative supporting Liu Kang's benevolent dictatorship is the problem.

So I’m working on this requests about the LKB (Lin Kuei Bros) raising a vampire baby and it made me think about them as girl dads. Bi-Han is always in my mind though so I especially started thinking about him.
Here’s the thing. I feel like others may say Bi-Han would be a terrible or maybe even abusive father. Some may say he’d look down on his daughter for being a woman. The only woman we saw him interact with in game was Nitara (I think) so we don’t really know how he acts or how he feels about women. So maybe those people are right and he would look down on her, but in my fantasy land, that’s not happening.
Bi-Han looks down on people who are not Lin Kuei. His daughter is a Lin Kuei. Yeah, maybe he was hoping for a son but I don’t see him completely neglecting a child because of gender. Do I think he’d be hard on her though? Yes.
Bi-Han would be hard on his kids, regardless of gender. If you’re the next Grandmaster you gotta prove you deserve that spot. Being Lin Kuei isn’t enough. They have to be better than everyone. If a random ass member of the clan can beat his child, then they don’t deserve that spot and they have to train harder.
He’d probably work his daughter to the bone because the Lin Kuei are mostly men (I have no proof. Follow my idea). Bi-Han knows she’ll have to work 10x harder to earn the clan’s respect and he knows they’ll probably be some idiots willing to challenge her and he’s refusing to let her get beaten by them.
There’s this thing where girl dads are soft. They’re easier on their daughters because that’s their little princess, and he’s soft towards her to an extent. He makes her train hour by hour and not in some “you’d think she’s a boy with how much he makes her train”. No. You know she’s a girl because he’s making her train this hard. Bi-Han is not gonna be here one day and he for damn sure ain’t fighting all her battles. She’s gotta prove she has the strength (both physically and mentally), leadership skills, and all the other shit you need to prove she deserves her spot.
And I don’t think he’d actually want to replace her but I think he’d still drill in her head that someone is going to want her spot. Someone is gonna want to replace her and may even try to replace her all because of her gender. She can’t let that happen. His daughter would be the best assassin and combatant Earthrealm has ever seen and he’d be damn proud of her.
