everyone's talking about the Oshi no ko op - Idol by yoasobi, "Its sooo good" "Yoasobi never disappoints!" "This has got to be the best anime op ever" But like, have u ever heard the ending song? It's so soothing and aligns with Aqua and Ruby's inner emotions. Well actually mostly Aqua, but it's his determination to avenge his mother and make sure his sister will lead a safe and happy life, unlike his mother.

I think it's beautiful and I'm always enchanted by it.

my music taste is so unbelievably skewed that I put on Aurelio Voltaire, and then I got '70s music, '50s music, '80s music, '90s music and now I'm getting fucking Will Wood. where the fuck am I right now?!

The only thing that could make my morning any worse is fucking classical. or 20s music.

when I ask for a vibe I want to stay on that vibe I feel like I'm being thrown around.

it's not even all the same genre like I've gotten goth, punk rock, alt indie, alt folk rock, whatever the fuck ABBA is on cuz I got fucking ABBA, I got Queen... I got music I don't even know but I know it's old cuz it's music my parents sing and my parents are kind of old (60's/70's kids)

For all my Dracula Daily folks, check out the criminally underrated Dracula musical!

The songs are all bangers composed by Frank Wildhorn, who's the same guy that made the musicals for Jekyll and Hyde, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Death Note: the Musical (I recommend all of them).

Also starring James Barbour (Dracula) and Norm Lewis (Van Helsing) if you're familiar with those guys/phantoms. The music sounds really good and the plot stays relatively similar to the original minus the increased romanticization of Dracula and Mina. Take a listen!

Tell me your thoughts on A Hunger in your Haunt by Biffy Clyro. Specifically relating to Regulus.

okay i...listened to this several times because it usually takes me more than one time for the lyrics to really sink in and the song to grow on me

and yes, i can absolutely see this

first of all, the song in itself is great, i love it - you're finally getting better and giving me actual music that makes noise

i love this part:

where the glass is Regulus - he's not good and not bad he's just fucked up on the floor/at the bottom of the lake

I think reflects his thoughts as he goes down, because he feels like he brought nothing in, in the end, but also took nothing with him; did his sacrifice really even make a difference?

"It's been dark a while so where's the fucking dawn?" is relatable for everyone in this period, the war they are going through, and this one...this one hurts especially: "all I loved is broken down and gone to seed" - his family, his friends, everything that fell apart that he thinks about as he realises that he might not make it back.
