Deep below the the old city of Hofendal are the sewers. Apart from a foul stench, these tunnels are home to another terror.
Since long ago, the kings of Hofendal have used kobolds to keep the sewers clean and functioning. They were forced to live in the sewers and not allowed to enter the city. Every now and again, kobold would come to the surface and the king's men would force them back down, sometimes carefully reducing their numbers to keep them in check. In the past decades, no such thing has happened.
In fact, more and more often, sewers seem to be in need of maintenance. Somehow, the kobold have stopped doing their work. When the king sent men to inspect, they did not return.
Talk has come from nearby villages of people turning into vicious rats and rumour has it that a similar plague has come to Hofendal. Surely this couldn't be true. Or could it?
The Sewers of Hofendal bring a new level to the modest capital of the kingdom of Rasfadal. Venture underground to rid the city of its vermin, or maybe use these tunnels to move around the city unseen. Either way, beware of the dangers that lurk below...

Hemos probado casi todas y a final volvemos a zoom.

Since long before anyone can remember, House Hurmuir owned the tower that overlooked the southern ends of Hare Bay. The Lords Hurmuir lived there with their spouse and controlled the region known as Duwyn Mire.
When the War in the West broke out, Lord Dunkur Humuir was called to fight and he took with him his son, Darstur. Lord Dunkur achieved many victories and became a hero. No one thought he could be beaten.
That changed when Lord Dunkur and his men were ambushed by enemy soldiers; before anyone knew what was happening, they had been overrun and defeated. Lord Dunkur fell, and only a handful of people made it out alive. One of those people was Lord Dunkur's son, Darstur, now the new Lord Hurmuir. Before he died, Lord Dunkur told his son: "Go home safe!". Darstur promised his father he would, and continued fighting for the remainder of the war.
When the war was over, Darstur went home, only to find the Tower of Hurmuir taken over by bandit-king Gyn! In an attempt to safe his family and reclaim the tower, Darstur charged the tower with his men, but the bandits were able to fend them off. He was forced to go back to the capital and request assistance from the king. When he arrived there the king told him that he had already send out most of his troops to reclaim The Swamps and that he couldn't spare any more.
Lord Darstur does not intent to forsake his promise and reclaiming the tower will always be his first and foremost priority!
Gyn's tower offers a nice set of opportunities for adventurers. They can help Lord Darstur reclaim the tower and safe his family, or they can offer their support to bandit-king Gyn. Help him get rid of Darstur and expand his influence. Of course they might also want to take the tower for themselves, and see what valuables might be inside?

At the mouth of the rivers Lyar and Thring lies the city of Hofendal, capital of the Kingdom of Rasfadal. This is where the King of Rasfadal has spend his days since the War in the West ended. His hands are more than full with all the work and rebuilding that needs to be done after the devastating war. Many people have come to find refuge in Hofendal. Lords from the east come to ask for aid in reclaiming their lost holdings in the Swamps, but the war took its toll, and many men were lost. There aren't many to spare.
Until the Swamps can be reclaimed, these 'Homeless Lords' and their men have no place to go to, and so they make their home in Hofendal. Because of this, the city is filled with nobles and soldiers.
Proud as they are, the lords love to challenge each other, and settle old feuds. Many soldiers engage in fights in the streets and taverns. This has lead to the deaths of three soldiers and one innocent bystander already.
The King is desperately looking for ways to get the lords out of the city. With depleted resources, he has no intention in fighting the bandit kings and waging another war, but it seems like the only way. Any help he can get is more than welcome!
The City of Hofendal offers a great variety of work and quests for players. The king will be happy with any aid he can get, and many if the lords will probably have tasks for you as well. Then there are the people of Hofendal that can certainly use the help of experienced adventures as well.

Eastbridge is an old village build around a bridge, guarded by the bridgekeeper. It consists of a couple of houses build around muddy roads. The fishing dock supplies most of the food for the village. Oh, and there's an Inn that seems surprisingly luxurious and fancy for a place like this.
Many adventurers that travel through The Swamps are overwhelmed by the foul stench. It's hard to imagine that people manage to live here, and even call it 'a decent place to live'. Still, after spending a day or two in The Swamps, one gets used to the smell.
The smell of Eastbridge is something else entirely though. Even people from The Swamps refer to it as 'Stink Bridge'. Many foreigner's get dizzy and nauseous when they enter Eastbridge, and some even pass out. The only place in the village that doesn't smell like... well, no one actually knows what it smells like. It's just terrible. However, the only place that doesn't smell so bad, is the Bridgekeeper's Inn. It doesn't just smell better than it does outside, it actually smells nice inside. With soft incense and relaxing music. This is without doubt the place that anyone passing through Eastbridge, or The Swamps in general, would want to rest.
That is, of course, 'if' the bridgekeeper let's you cross the bridge...
Eastbridge makes a nice place for players to rest and maybe restock if the shop owners don't scare you away. With the mysterious Bridgekeeper's Inn there's plenty of investigation to be done around here as well. Oh, and are you looking for a fight? Great news: all you have to do is make eye contact!

The Swamps of Rasfadal are known for its bandit plague, but there are many other dangers in Rasfadal that you might want to look out for.
In most of the forests of The Swamps live werewolves that haunt the forests during a full moon. Especially Veryne Forest is infested with these creatures and the village of Veryne has had to deal with them for decades now. In the past, they had been protected by the soldiers and werewolf hunters of Myrewatch who would hunt the werewolves and keep the population under control. Since the War in the West broke out, and most troops were called to the west, the werewolf population has only increased with every full moon. Every full moon, the village suffers attacks from werewolves and has no chance at stopping them.
Trolls can be encountered throughout The Swamps as well, but mostly live in the East Bog and Duwyn Mire. They prey on most everything they can find there, including people passing by. The road to Costurch is becoming more dangerous by the day, and troll attack are more common than ever before. People have gathered and set out to fight and kill the trolls, but none of them ever return.
In the West Mire you are at risk of coming across hags. These creatures will disguise themselves as beautiful women to lure unsuspecting people into the swamps where they'll capture them and even eat them. Lonshard and Farwatch suffer from these hags the most and people, mostly man, have come to be very suspicious of any female outsider them enters their communities.
The Monsters of Rasfadal add an extra element of danger to these already dangerous lands. Give your players a good scare with these miniatures!

When the kings troops left, bandits came over The Swamps like a plague. Before long, various gangs had taken control of the main roads, demanding a 'toll' from everyone that wanted to pass. Some of the leaders of these gangs felt opportunistic and decided to spread their influence to nearby settlements and call themselves bandit-kings.
One of these bandit-kings os Bandit-King Gyn, the leader of Gyn's Gang. Gyn originally operated from Myrewood, a forest in the southern lands of The Swamps. One day he gathered his gang, crossed the Duwyn Mire, and assaulted Hurmuir Tower. With Lord Hurmuir and his men fighting in the War in the West they encountered almost no resistance, and were able to waltz right into the tower. Lady Hurmuir and her daughters were captured, the rest of the household was slain.
In the following months the bandits redecorated the tower, turning into a new headquarters for the gang. Gyn and his gang now rule over Duwyn Mire, and his men regularly visit the surrounding villages to 'collect taxes'.
Gyn himself? He mainly spends his days in his tower, in the company of Lady Hurmuir and her daughters...
With these miniatures you can bring the villains of The Swamps to life for your game.

The Swamps are a region in the east of the kingdom of Rasfadal. Long ago it was a region dotted with countless town and villages, and even some significant trade ports. Many lords build their castles here, and with its stench and not so charming sights, it was still considered a decent place to live.
When the War in the West broke out, the king needed every man to fight, and as a result the swamps were no longer protected. The region fell, but it was not to preying neighbours, as one might expect; bandits came out of their camps in the woods and swiftly took control of the settlements of The Swamps. They made their homes in the castles of lords and ruled over The Swamps. Many leaders proclaimed themselves bandit-kings.
The war lasted a full decade, and when the men from The Swamps returned to their homes they found that nothing was left. The king set out to reclaim the lands that were lost to the bandits, but was unsuccessful, pushed back by the bandits that now controlled these lands.
The king has since then given up on The Swamps; legally, they are still part of his kingdom, but he no longer has influence of the land. Many lords still wish to return home, and every now and again one sets out to the swamps with a band of soldiers, but none have yet succeeded...
The Swamps of Rasfadal are a stinking setting with plenty of opportunities for ambitious players. Will you help a lord reclaim his lost castle, and safe his family? He will surely be grateful and generous. Or will you offer your service to one the bandit-kings? Help them fight off soldiers, and uuhm... "collect" taxes?

On the northern shores of the East Bog lies the town of Costurch, a small town build around an old church. The town has remained relatively untouched by the bandits that came over Rasfadal; people still live their everyday life like they did before, except they now donate more money to the church. In fact, most everything that is produces here goes to the church. And maybe, the people don’t actually live their lives like they did before. Just maybe?
When the bandits first came to Costurch, Father Yrthad, and old and nervous man, came down from the church, had a long talk with the bandits in private, and eventually the bandits left. Occasionally, they’re spotted around the druidic shrine west of town, only to disappear and return an hour or so later. Coincidentally, Father Yrthad is never seen during that time. No one knows where he is, but then again, no one reallu cares, as long as the bandits stay away.
Recently, Farther Yrthad seems nervous. More than usual and he insist the people of Costurch work harder to increase the production. Especially Jard and Hur, the armour- and weapon smiths, are getting regular visits from Father Yrthad. They are now looking for people to work for them, to increase the production of armour and weapons.
The Town of Costurch is a small town that looks peaceful at first sight, but closer inspection may show that nothing here is as it seems. An adventurer might find plenty of work, but perhaps they should think twice before they decide who to work for?
