🍬 ⇢ post an unpopular opinion about a popular fandom character i'm not trying to have angry people in my inbox/dms so i'm not gonna rage on this question, and honestly i don't know that i have any really hot takes, so here's my hot fanfic related take. we gotta stop making eddie so cool and like smooth in fics, that dude is a disaster and would absolutely be the most annoying person if you knew him in real life, and i say that as someone who had friends like him who i adored. beautiful disasters who really fucking annoy you but you love anyway and i think writing him that was is more faithful and fun than a lot of what i've seen (eddie stans please don't hate me i'm a kind person who will cry if you're mean to me) 🧩 ⇢ what will make you click away from a fanfiction immediately? HONESTLY!!!! like. a few things.

if there's no breaks in the writing, usually first person pov (not that there's anything wrong with that it's just not my preference and more often than not i will click away) but i gotta give you my number 1 pet peeve on this site in particular.

if a fic is long enough that it should be under a read more and isn't, it doesn't matter how good it looks, my ass will almost always aggressively scroll past it because i get so irritated by a huge ass post showing up on my dash and out of pure spite i just won't read it

finally got around to counting up the submissions for the furniture set bracket and these are the sets that made it in. conveniently, if I left out the pocket camp exclusive sets, I ended up with 64 sets that got submitted more than once, so I didn't have to do any fussing to decide which to keep and which to kick out.

my intention for seeding is to spread out the most submitted sets as much as possible, then the ones that only got 2-3 submissions I'll just do alphabetical order. still considering if I want sets that were redesigned in acnh to go up against their classic counterparts or not. I'll stick a poll for that at the end

I still have to sort through the submissions for individual furniture items. hopefully I'll get to that sometime within the next week or two. if you're wondering where froggy chair is, it'll be in that one lmao
