Not really.

Though Lestat manages to be awake while the sun is up already in the later books, but not for very long. Just said it in another ask, but Fareed wants to find a way for them, so it might be something that's already happened on the show.

Even to the greatest detectives in the world, it's not an easy case to crack. He goes out in the daytime all the time, sure he doesn't like garlic all that much, but everyone has their quirks.

When his parents were well, eating hadn't ever been an issue. They lived in Gotham City, there were stranger reasons to organize the community for. It wasn't any different than the church potlucks they couldn't go to. Sometimes an auntie or uncle would come round and everyone ate, that's just life.

When the Joker severed that thread, life got difficult. Physically displaced and passed around, on top of losing his parents and his support network made life hell. When We Are Robin found him in the underground, Duke was half starved, running on sheer willpower alone.

He didn't eat anyone in the underground, not that he would have tried, hunger was nothing on the revulsion of a meal spoiled. He didn't eat any of the Robins, or the old man that captured him afterwards.

He was strong, Duke was strong, until he wasn't.

Truthfully, it had been a long time coming.

Swooning into Riko's arms like some sort of Victorian maiden had not been on his grand to-do list of his life. Nor had Dax offering his wrist like it was nothing. Nor was Izzy insulting Dax's pain tolerance and offering her own wrist. Nor had the ensuing squabble as to who got to feed Duke first. (The obvious solution, Riko offered, was a little bite of everyone, considering the state Duke was in.)

Even when We Are Robin fell apart, they were still kicking ass. They were his community now, his friends, his people.
