JEFF THE KILLER HEADCANONS

CW: killing, stalking, scars, addiction

OKAY POSTING THIS NOW. I might do a part two sometime, he rots in my brain so im bound to come up w new ideas and stuff but for now this'll do :thumbs_up:

GENERAL STUFF

White, Italian-American but he's not too connected with his Italian heritage

In his early to mid 20s, ran away from home after committing his crimes when he was around 16 and he became a proxy for Slenderman after being on the run for 2 years, making him 18 when he was recruited

Jeff the bisexual, not that he realized/accepted it for a long time

Around 5’8’’/178cm, probably tells ppl he’s taller ngl

He's got light blue eyes and naturally brunette hair that he dyes black

He got into a burn accident when he was younger, an incident that finally flipped a switch on him for good

The burn marks are mostly spread across his upper body, his legs are pretty much free of any damage

The gushes on his cheeks never healed properly or closed as he did them poorly, leaving the edges ripped and uneven

The pain it caused has numbed overtime and he rarely feels it anymore

He managed to partly blind himself by having gone ahead and tried cutting his bottom eyelids in a poor attempt at stopping himself from ever crying (he was a mess and struggling with himself at that point) but he couldn't go fully through with it after he freaked himself out with the damage it did to his left eye

He's got scars all over his body, most of them are from fights with others

He actually wears those battle scars with pride, in his mind they make him seem cool and strong and he even brags about them

Very, very, VERY rare to see him without face paint on. It's not that he’s trying to conceal the damage his face has gone through, he just thinks the white face paint fits him better. Live laugh love guyliner as well

His makeup is waterproof and he even sleeps in it multiple nights in a row, he doesn’t care, he'll just touch it up if he needs to

His eyesight is below average but in his opinion he sees just fine even when he has to squint

PERSONALITY

He can be an annoying bastard when he wants, it's natural for him to be an asshole

If you're a stranger to him he has no problem being borderline harassing with his behaviour and it's worse if he's provoked in some way

It's very easy to pick a fight with him as he's easily irritable and when he fights, no matter if it's verbal or physical, it can get real nasty real fast

If you even look at him funny when he's having a bad day, you most likely will end up on his blacklist

That's to say he’s def got some anger issues he never got to work through when he was younger

The easiest way to befriend him is to impress him, otherwise he's not too interested in getting to know you

When one does befriend him and they become closer, they have to endure his playful banter, jokes and his smug behaviour

He's egoistical for sure. Whether his massive ego is a cover up for his issues with himself he'll never tell.

If you stroke his ego he’ll probs smirk to himself and receive it with no problem, but too much is too much and he’ll get annoyed cause then he just feels like you’re either not serious or you want something from him

Needless to say he prioritizes himself and the people he actually cares about, otherwise he's indifferent or dismissive of others

He's pretty much an ambivert. He can be by himself fine and he prefers it most of the time but he also seeks out the presence of other people from time to time

he’s also kind of an attention hogger, blame that on growing up with his parents not caring enough (doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad attention, both satisfy him)

He’s kind of reckless, rather acts before he thinks and sometimes it works in his favor, sometimes it bites him in the ass and if someone were to point that out he’d probably curse them out or something (he’s bad at admitting he’s wrong)

MUSIC PREFERENCES

He definitely thinks of himself as a music connoisseur of sorts

He’s a huge fan and listens to music pretty much whenever he can

He’s also got different playlists for different vibes. For example when he goes out (to kill) on his own he likes to listen to something that’ll pump up his adrenaline but then again when the night falls and he’s left awake staring at the ceiling he also likes calmer music that is almost melancholic in sound

And he thinks his music taste is better than yours, no debate about that (unless you introduce him to something new that he likes, then he’ll be a bit reluctant about complimenting your taste)

He’s probably sneaked into concerts as well as stolen merch, which btw all his shirts with graphics on them are just merch of bands he likes

If his music taste were to be described with genres his taste would fall into metal and goth and their subgenres

He actually got into the goth scene through Jane when they were young. She had introduced him to the type of music she liked and he actually found himself liking the sound and researched different subgenres on his own time. Would he admit that Jane got him into it? Probably not, if anything he’d give her just a little credit

He's more focused on the melody of the song rather than the lyrics. He might not even know the lyrics to his favorite songs because he thinks the melody on its own is banging enough

Some bands I think he’d specifically like are She Wants Revenge, Slipknot, Type O Negative, Korn, Lebanon Hanover, Twin Tribes and Mareux

When he was younger he used to be a big emo, now he slightly cringes at the thought yet finds himself sometimes revisiting the songs and bands he used to listen to on loop when he was in his teens

FASHION

He’s not too particular with his clothes, most often he steals the stuff he wears from his victims

He does like alt and edgier fashion though but he doesn’t care to specifically seek out for clothes that fall into that style too much

Accessories are a different thing. He's like a crow when it comes to cool jewelry and might even target someone just to steal a spike bracelet from them

A big lover of his white hoodie. It’s almost like a part of him and he even feels weird going out without it

^ And it’s often covered in dried blood. He views the stains as some sort of trophy from his successful kills and is against washing it unless someone actually makes him do that (but that would only happen after a ridiculous amount of resistance from him)

His wardrobe mostly consists of dark colors, apart from the couple of white tops he has

Knowing Jeff’s preferences, Nina sometimes alters his clothes and makes them more fitting to his aesthetic, which despite his act of indifference he sort of appreciates

He’s got a few piercings and he’s done all of them himself except for his snakebites

The first time he pierced himself he got his ear infected and Jack had to treat it

After that he's got the hang of it and has been free of any serious infections

His snakebites were the first piercings he ever got when he was young, approximately 15 or so. He got them done by some shady guy in some even shadier circles he hung around in as an act of rebellion against his parents

FOOD & DRINKS

He's not picky with food, like at all

Sure there are things he doesn't like but he eats pretty much anything

When he was on the run after attacking his family he didn't really have much options and ate whatever he could find just to keep alive and going

His favorite type of food is homemade meals and he prefers to cook his own food if he can, partly because of his distrust to others

And he's decent at cooking. He learned when he was young and still living at home but everyone has the impression of him that he can't cook for his life

Loves a good ol’ Monster Energy, the drink is imprinted on him since early age

The type of guy to forget to drink water tbh, he’s kind of dismissive when it comes to taking care of himself in general

BAD HABITS

Killing and stalking, obviously

Depending on his mood he may take his victims out quickly with a simple stab to satisfy his craving for control for the moment, but at times he can get brutal to the point he leaves an impossible mess

He's not a long term stalker if he plans on killing some stranger. He'll follow them throughout one evening and be done by the night

Though sometimes he'll get curious about other people’s habits and way of operating, and he may follow or watch them out of sight to gain more information

He's a regular smoker and he’s not planning on quitting it

Steals a new pack in advance every chance he gets. He does go through one fairly quickly after all

Also a drinker. He's not addicted like he is with nicotine but when he drinks he often takes it too far, drinking too much too quickly

Sometimes it's a choice, sometimes he just loses track of his limits yet he would insist he meant to get shitfaced, thinking that works better for his image

HABITS/FREE TIME

He’s the type to consider killing as his habit but apart from that there are a few other things he finds himself drawn to

Music, as said before, is a big part of his daily life. He likes to just hang in his room and have music in the background, usually blasting it from some busted stereo he found one day

A knife collector and he has favorites based on how many kills he's gotten with them, how he got them and the style of the knife. Will ramble about them if you don't shut him up fast enough

He used to draw fairly regularly when he was still young but over the years he's sort of dropped it. He might still doodle something if he's given a pen and paper and he has nothing better to do, but he doesn't value the habit much at all anymore

Pathetic Leon pt. 7

Figured i should include a word count bc this feels (and def is) longer than the other parts. also trying to make it somewhat neat?? an attempt, pls cut me some slack

Leon was pacing around his living room nervously while waiting for you to come back from class, his nails bitten down to skin at how hard he was stressing. What should he say? How could he put you down gently without hurting your feelings? How did he avoid telling you he felt the same? That one was stressing him out the most. 

He froze in his place when he heard the lock disengaged, the door opening to present you, a happy look on your face as you carefully balanced two coffee cups in your hands. You looked up to see Leon there, a smile spreading on your face that made Leon want to forget about saying anything at all. “Hey,” you greeted, which he returned as calmly as he could. “I got coffee after class, figured I’d get you some too.” 

“Thanks..” His heart aches as he takes the cup of coffee from your hand, staring down at it almost with a guilty expression. He looks back up at you as you go to settle down, gently grabbing your wrist to keep you in place. “I actually need to talk to you for a sec,” he calls out, gaining your attention instantly. “I uh… I heard your conversation last night..” he says outright, figuring the best way to get this over with was to rip the bandaid right off. 

Your eyebrows raise. “Huh?” He drops his grip on your wrist, awkwardly taking a sip of his coffee as he tries to collect his thoughts. The coffee scalds his tongue. “The walls are thin..” He can’t stand looking at your face, the way you recoil from embarrassment and what is probably shame. “You weren’t very quiet so I.. overheard everything…” 

You’re unable to meet his eyes after he speaks and clearly embarrassed, and he instantly wishes he could suck his words right back into his mouth. Not having your pretty eyes on him because of him makes him want to commit a crime against himself in retribution. He presses on, however, word vomiting in a mild bit of nervousness. “I'm flattered, really, I just.. As your father’s friend, I can’t indulge you in any way, y’know? He would have my head if he knew anything happened between you and me.” 

You still don’t say anything or look at him and his mild nervousness turns almost into a panic. Did he just ruin his relationship with you? “Plus I’m way too old for you, sweetheart. You’re in college and you’re pretty, I’m sure there’s plenty of nice guys that would suit you better, yeah?” You only answer him with more silence and it all but drives him mad.

“Please say something,” He pleads, unable to stand the silence you give him. He would never be able to forgive himself if somehow he just crushed you. 

“..I’ve known the walls are thin..” It’s the first thing you say after a while of silence, and it throws Leon for a loop. He looks at you with an obviously befuddled look as you finally turn to look at him again, your expression pinched. “It goes both ways, y’know.” 

Leon stares at you, processing before your words seem to click. 

If he could hear you, hear your friend who was over the phone, there was nothing stopping you from hearing him too. Like maybe when he was groaning and whimpering your name under his breath none too quietly as he desperately jerked off to the thought of you after seeing you in those shorts from the other day and after he heard your conversation.

The realization made his eyes widen, a look of pure horror over taking his face. You don’t have to say anything further for him to understand what you mean, and yet you still do. “I heard you, jerking off and saying my name. So you’re too old for me, but I’m not too young for you?” 

The question makes him cringe, his entire demeanor deflating. How does he even respond to that? What can he say to salvage this? “Listen, I-- that--” You have him stumbling over his words trying to fix this. “I can’t-- You weren’t supposed to hear that. I meant what I said, I can’t indulge you. I am too old for you, and you are too young for me.” 

You don’t seem all too pleased with that answer. Leon figures as much from the way you mumble ‘hypocrite’ under your breath, thinking he won’t catch it. “Okay,” you reply simply and curtly. Leon can barely press you on the answer before you’re already walking towards his guest room, shutting the door behind you firmer than he would deem normal. 

He stares blankly where you were before, at a loss for words. Did that go well? Definitely not. Whatever high regards you held him in before that were definitely tarnished beyond belief. Leon can only stand there, his cup of coffee growing cold in his grasp as he regrets opening his mouth in the first place.

thoughts on cait critics.. from someone who liked caitvi more in s2 than s1.. I like messy stuff.. ya'll are boring.

I also ship jayvic which is mesy/ timebomb which is messy t to me timebomb is more toxic than caitvi cause they tried to MURDER eachother in s1 and jinx killed his friends. so people insisting that caitvi is the worse of em all confuse me.

every post against Caitlyn from arcane i feel being gaslit as they act like she murdered 100s of people and I just.. don't remember seeing that happen .. I do rem seeing Jinx murder ekkos friends/enforcers/kidnapping people .. Like one woman can commit terrible crimes but another is hated for commiting terrible crimes.. because one is rich and the other is poor

when the poor woman traumatzined the rich woman that doesn'tmatter because.. she's rich..

.. The hate for caitlyn as a poor person who does hate the Police.. it just makes no sense to me. when again one woman can commit murders and get no hate but the other woman did cait kill people? I found it a bit unclear .. gets hate for not even doing half as bad as the poor woman did.

adding on Viktor was planning to bascially kill turn people into mindless Androids and that is also snooze on by people.. REally out of every character commiting crimes. Caitlyn falls below Jinx/Ambessa/Viktor... and is the only one getting any hate for it.. So this is what arcane critics/cait haters to me are really saying. We love BAd Bitches when they're Straight Jinx/Ekko or Gay Jayce/Vik But bad bitch lesbians are bad because.. a poor woman can't possibly get with a rich woman that's oppression. and V i is her pet? like what? That's so shitty to say. caiti criticis really be out here thinking vi should just exist for Jinx in the end.

as a poor woman myself if i fell in love with a rich man/woman I'd wouldn't feel oppressed. I never saw cait/vi as oppressed and the only one who was in the way of em to begin with was Jinx and sorta Silco

Silco having its independence wouldnt have helped zaun at all it just let him get away with his drug spree. he was not going to save zaun he just wanted freedom to get away with hurting Zaun with his Drugs. anyway out of every character doing terrible crimes Cait to me goes in this lineup arcane Viktor for trying to turn everyone into midnless magic robots tho how much control he was in is beyond me. I like him btw esp in s1. Ambessa for killing a Kid *btw I loved her anyway she is a GILF to me * and she did a lot of horrible shit I mean everything else she did in gets pinned on Caitlyn haters give her zero agency. .. doesn't seem very proggressive to me to ignore the black woman actions but people love to do this. I was acutally looking forward to Game Jinx and got.. a tame Jinx compared to s1. /She also did gas people in Piltover/Children were seen watching it that is ignored by cait haters Caitlyn now I won't deny her gassing people is a shitty thing to do and i found it rather unclear if it killed people or not.. but i dont think she killed 100s as people keep insisting she did.. I wont defend her hiting vi I'll just say it was done after vi said she was acting like Jinx the woman notchild who killed kidnapped Caitlyn/killed her mother so acting out of grief and rage not gonna say its right it just make sense in the moment. And We also see Jinx hit Vi Twice at the end of s1 and kidnapping her own sister after knocking her out. Then in s2 jinx hits Vi when vi comes to get her out of prison and locks her in the cell instead.. So Im just seeing nothing but double standards. that boil down to Cait is rich =bad . Jinx is poor=good. when the real message of the show is.

An Eye for an Eye makes the whole World Blind..

I swear i wasn't even a big fan of caitlyn then i saw a bunch of hate that confused me. I wanted to see her go full blow Evil and Commit Terrible Terrible deeds and felt she was too tame.. but not according to tumblr purists.. she was evil I just.. missed it.. my main criticism of the show is really that her dicatorship plotwas to.. Fast. to many music vid montages/ and honestly the Au ep.. not needed Isha dies and then we get a whole new world? wasn't a fan of that.. /wanted to see Vi spiral more than a music vid too.. thats my criticism to much music vid segments.. the sex scene also made sense and vi didn't know jinx was sucidial.. she isn't the Audience I didn't even catch what jinx meant.. Cause ending the cycle doesn't =im going to commit vi prob thought it meant jinx was gonna blow something up cause that was how jinx handled grief in the past.. so no she didn't have sex knowing jinx is suicidial. she did it because.. She wanted to do it. It was the right time and not Male Gazy as aBisexual woman I thought it was Cool I enjoyed it.

Granted, I haven’t seen all of them, but…

The 1990’s animation is def my fav of the ones I’ve seen.

The designs are so cute! And I love how it really captures the sense of nostalgia and whimsy that comes with playing with all your friends as a young child.

Plus the Japanese dub gave Snorkmaiden the name Floren. I do not know why they did it, but it’s a choice that I 100% support. The name fits her so well! And it gives her a bit more individuality, rather than just making her the female version of her brother.

I also think the 1990’s animation does a great job of characterizing Snorkmaiden. They showcase all sides of her multifaceted personality: her kindness and her pettiness, her cleverness and her naivety, her sensitivity and her hardiness. This girl is severely underrated by the fandom, and I demand justice for her!

All that being said, I also really enjoyed Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley. It’s fun when the moomin characters are characterized more like young adults than like children (likely because they’re based off of the comics rather than the books.)

The fact that they allow you to commit petty crimes as Snufkin is so goddamn funny to me.

Plus the scenes between Moomintroll and Snufkin were just waaaay too cute.

My main complaint about the game is the fact that Snorkmaiden has very little to do in the game. You’d think she’d be concerned to learn that her boyfriend is in jail, but…

I hope they’ll give her more to do in the DLC.

EXACTLY. For the downfall timeline to work I'm expected to believe that Link's presence fighting Ganon was essentially meaningless. That things would've ended pretty much the exact same way with or without him, and nothing would change about the mythos after. Okay, why did I even bother playing the game then? It's such nonsense.

I really do strongly dislike the very idea of the 'downfall' timeline. Like it can be fun to play with a version of OOT where Link up and died, there's definitely some interesting stuff to be done with that, but I really hate that the 'downfall' timeline is something I have to consider canon despite it making infinitely less sense than simply interpreting OOT as a prequel to ALTTP. No 'if Link died' qualifiers, just as is. Since OOT was very, very obviously based on the backstory explained in ALTTP and all, y'know. Not everything fits 1:1, but that's par for the course with LOZ games, and the ending of OOT very specifically sets up ALTTP.

So it's just deeply, deeply irritating to me to have the 'official' timeline say 'yeah actually that ending did not set up ALTTP. ALTTP happened in a completely different version of the ending than what you saw', like. I really despise how that paves over the history of OOT and the franchise as a whole for the sake of some remote semblance of 'timeline consistency'. Playing ALTTP and then playing OOT and realizing OOT was basing itself on the backstory from ALTTP was a really cool moment for me and it pisses me off that I'm just supposed to pretend the game I played didn't pre-date ALTTP at all and instead some nebulous parallel version that we never saw in-game was the REAL precursor to ALTTP. I don't care how much it messes up the timeline I'm not doing that.

Literally who cares if Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, and ALTTP all co-exist as wildly different OOT sequels. They can take turns. They can exist in a quantum state. Or they can exist in three different timelines the exact way they do now, I don't really care how people choose to interpret it on an individual level, I just don't like it when people treat the 'downfall timeline' as the presumed canon when, going by the actual games of OOT and ALTTP rather than the Hyrule Histoira, that makes very little sense.

Imagine a trial where a monkey did something REALLY BAD. Like, intentionally put a cub in danger badly. And now Wukong has to somehow explain to MK, who got caught up in it, that FFM has some rather archaic laws about it that are not so palleteable for the modern-day sensibilities of he and his friends. I think in this case, he'd opt for a quick beheading or eternal exile, something softer, but only because they didn't want to have to explain to the kid after the fact that cannibalism is technically a valid form of execution for the monkeys of FFM.

I do think that Wukong only saves such punishment for the *worst* offences.

And even still, the wording of the law has it that the accused can be consumed by theoretically anything. For example:

A nearby Volcano.

The Ocean.

Buried so that the Earth takes them.

Bugs.

Rats.

Other species of primates.

It isn't a rash decision either. Wukong gets every village leader, Stalwart, and a few celestial/demon lawyers involved to deliberate sentencing. Since the King himself has been the victim of harsh punishment in the past, he goes through immense measures to ensure that there's proof of the accused party's guilt or innocence before deciding their fate.

MK... def could not stomach seeing an Alolai-style execution.

Wukong and the rest of the legal council would be trying to sentence an attempted cub-killer, only to see the young prince and promptly decide that they shall be "eaten" by a volcano. It would be kinder than letting MK see the traditional method.

Wukong: "After many weeks of deliberation, it has been proven without doubt that the defendant is guilty of the crimes accused. Since the crimes committed threatens the sanctity of our community and of life itself, the guilty party has been sentence to... Death by Consumption." Guilty Monkey: (*attempts to flee, and is retrained by guards*) Monkeys in the stands: (*excited hooting!*) MK, whispers: "Consumption??" Marshal Ma: "Yeah. This guy is a real piece of work. He filmed part of what he did. The trial took so long because we needed to process all of the evidence with the Underworld. Whole kingdom has been calling for his head for months." MK: "No, what did Monkey King mean by Consumption?" Marshal Ma: "...you may want to cover your eyes and ears, prince."

If the Monkie Kid puts up enough of a fuss, Wukong will change what the criminal is fed to, but nonetheless, they are getting eaten by something.

MK: "But WHY!?" Wukong, serious: "MK, our people once struggled to survive against hundreds of different threats to our lives - including other troops of monkeys. To be eaten is the greatest insult of them all. Even though we do not eat our own species any more, it is still symbolic that we feed the worst offenders to nature so that they better the world in their death." MK: "You guys used to EAT EACHOTHER!?!" Wukong, rolls eyes: "No! I outlawed such warfare when I became King! We're not monsters MK, just a different culture." MK, calming down: "Oh... it just seems so visceral." Wukong, comforting: "Hey I get it. It's not nice. But, it's not something decided on a whim. We have multiple celestial and infernal lawyers on both sides go over the evidence. We even contact the Underworld in the case of victims who've lost their lives. So many monkeys were caught or proven innocent because Kṣitigarbha held onto the restless dead for us. Death by Consumption is admittedly harsh, but if it prevents a single proven predator, or trafficker, or cub killer from repeating their crime, then it protects our kingdom. We don't put thieves or anyone who kills in defence through such punishment." MK: "I... I think I sorta get it... I mean, according to Tang things in the justice system used to be really bad before yaoguai started coming back. At least you guys confer with the gods themselves before deciding things..." Wukong: "I don't expect you to just accept that this is what we do... maybe in a couple hundred years you might be able to phase it out entirely." MK, hopeful smile: "I hope so too." Music slaps but no idea what the plot of the game is supposed to be. Also do a “freaky friday” style switch with the Hardy Boys every time you call them on your cell phone.

i never said kyle is worse than cartman

ok something i find rlly funny is how the testies will say “kyle is worse than cartman” to quote me a lot, even though i’ve never flat out said kyle is worse than cartman LOL (although i may have implied it), that’s just the conclusion people have come to bc my arguments on why kyle sucks are just THAT convincing. i just find kyle’s specific breed of toxicness more annoying than cartman’s bc i can’t STAND fake people (from my own personal experience) who pretend to be nice & caring saints, and it’s dumb AF how soooo many people actually believe kyle is a good person when he ain’t. although, there DEF have been some moments in the series when kyle was being the crazier one (i.e post covid & cow days) which i do point out a lot LOL, but it’s pretty debatable who’s the overall worse one if you stack up the bad deeds the two characters have committed side by side lol. the best argument for why kyle could be worse is that he has a higher kill count from what happened when when he blew up canada (and if you add in the people he shot in “the end of obesity” too), but then again he didn’t do that on purpose & it was more of a dumb oversight, wheras cartman has DEF killed people on purpose. NOT that it was okay for kyle to blow up canada, bc it was still a FUCKED up thing to do and i don’t wanna sound like those bitches who defend him like “but it was technically mr. garrison who did it! 1!1” 😩 & “but he felt bad after!!1!1!1” LOL, (which is a separate rant for another day abt how kyle was indeed an asshole in that episode) but besides that, kyle’s worst crime to me is that he’s just an annoying ass hypocritical liar and an overly sensitive turd who’s emotions get a bit out of hand at times. kyle is a covert narcissist, while cartman is a sociopath.

I feel like Gilman also took down SEVERAL videos and official pictures that had luigi in. I was scrolling through their yt channel and they have documented so many festive days, celebrations, and events for EVERY YEAR, but there is very little from 2016

Oh 100% they did and it makes sense considering that they wanted to distance themselves as much as possible from the crime Luigi allegedly committed. It's also not just YouTube. There's significant gaps for 2015-2016 on Facebook, instagram and even their school magazine/newspaper where it's kind of obvious that they took down some of the issues covering the class of 2016's graduation.

I just listened to The Horror and The Wild by The Amazing Devil and a couple of the lyrics in the chorus remind me of Numen:

You're soooo correct and thank you for sending this to me! 🥺 It's such a good song. Even if not all of it necessarily fits, the chorus specifically really hits for the horror vibes of Numen, for sure. Though they aren't doing it willingly, and quite literally only want to observe and love all of existence, they're still acting on Jormag's orders and abducting people. Plus killing whoever gets in the way of it, I'd imagine. All the while, their creator's words ringing in their head: it's for their own good.

In the end, all they can do is ask the Commander and Braham to kill them and remember them - not for their own sake, but the memories of all the innocent people they used to live as before inevitably awakening to their purpose every Cycle. Though it was doomed, the love that did exist mattered. This, coupled with the numen being a divine spiritual presence manifesting in the movements and actions of birds could mean that the birds would quite literally be singing and remembering their story, passing it onto norn shamans as a cautionary tale.

Even though it's up to the Commander to make the call, there are def verse possibilities where they survive and learn to reconcile the ancient dragon persona with their current incarnation, Arnfinn. That, and thankfully, since they're the one in charge of the Frozen magic in this AU, they can undo it and return the spirited away people to (what remains of) their former lives. Even if some had been frozen for decades by that time.
