Also have another “first words spoken to you are on your skin” soulmate AU idea where Kara is a journalist assigned to shadow the controversial CEO of L-Corp for the day. It’s a big deal for her to get this assignment, so of course she trips the second she’s near the other woman and tries awkwardly to redeem herself.

The CEO stares at her almost in shock, and then says nothing. At all. Ever, for the entire day.

Kara spends hours following Lena Luthor around trying to fill the silence, but no amount of questions get her to talk. Lena almost seems to be running away at some points - like she’s trying to lose her? - and the few times she’s managed to catch her actually talking to someone she goes silent the second she sees Kara.

She asks around if Miss Luthor is usually like this and everyone looks at her like she’s crazy. Apparently she’s the only one who gets the silent treatment. By the end of her first day shadowing she’s walking away with half a page of observations and not a single quote. Miss Grant is going to kill her.

But that’s okay. It’s fine, this isn’t over. She has four days of shadowing ahead of her and she’ll be damned if she doesn’t finish this with a quote from the woman herself. It’s only a matter of time.

For the House of Glass I have decided to plan out pages for the entire story - normally I script the entire thing and only draw out and release a few snippets.

So there was a problem.

It turned out Ellie had become more unstable, and ended up having to retreat into her core. Frostbite explained to him how he had to carry her in himself, similar to human pregnancy, but a little more Eldritch.

Having a de aged Dan thrown in the mix, since Clockwork had de aged him to almost two years old, and his parents kicking him out after finding out about him being a halfa? Everything was a mess. Thankfully, clockwork was able to arrange for him to go to school in Gotham, even arranging fake records for him and Dan, now known as Dante, and enrolling him in school while Dante would be babysat by Lady Gotham. Now known as Danny Mortem, he was enrolled in Gotham Academy, and ready to attend until Ellie was born.(Clockwork promised him he’d only have to take a week off, that would be easily explained by the flu.)

Damian was very suspicious of his new classmate.

If you were going to make a character that was the soul of planet earth in a human body you might think to make her motherly. Wise. Forgiving. Mother Earth cares for us, she provides, right? But Tamsyn Muir wrote Nona the Ninth and said YES planet earth is loving but also she is SO SO ANGRY and HURTING. And actually she cannot care for others right now she needs to be cared FOR.

Also she wants to eat pencils and she thinks flowers are sexy.
