Since my other Nether worldbuilding post was received pretty well... I'm back on my bullshit!
This time featuring zoning and biomes of the Neath: Lore below cut
Nether (noun): the formidable hellscape straddling the boundery between the Fragments of the Overworld and Death's Realms.
Derived from Beneath -> Neath -> Neth -> Nether.
The Nether is most easily accessable through outer regions of the nether, regions that are comparatively closed-off, and lacking in biodiversity compared to the Deep Nether where most Neath civilizations are centered.
The Neth is divided into three primary zones, distinguished by altitude and general climates.
The Calfactory Zone: the largest and most icon of the three, the Calfactory zone is blisteringly hot and bone-dry, it's most prominent features are its abundant seas and lakes of magma, and the massive Supermagmas atriums that are common above the magma. In the largest of these atriums, the ceiling may be so high above as to be completely invisible from the ground, obscured by an ever present smog of toxic vapor and minerals formed in the self-generated micro-climates that are generated from the rising heat of the lava that begins to cool at a higher altitude.
In the Basalt Deltas and other biomes around the edges of these lakes, massive pillars of rock and crystals bulwark the more-visible ceiling.
The most common of this zone’s biomes is the Crimson woods, home to hearty thermal-philic fungi and plants that grow on the minerals and vapors of the lakes. Many are carnivorous in their lack of access to water or sunlight, and these forests contain many sub-biomes and ecosystems of flourishing life.
The Wastes are perhaps the most desolate regions of the Neath, irradiated deserts of red-rock, brimstone, and sharp sand. Even the vast majority of nether-folk avoid these deserts due to the leftover radiation that rots and destroys anything that waits too long. The only forms of life are particularly robust lichens and bacteria that are happy to sit by the pools of boiling pools of sulfur and mud and toxic sludge that dot the landscape. Growing within the rocks themselves are colonies of amorphous fungus, called geocorpus molds that get their spores into cracks in the soft netherack and slowly feed on it, a delicacy in nether cuisine.
The Temperate Zone: Cradled in the heights of the Neath’s atriums and sat bellow the roof is the temperate zones, the rising heat of the zone below begins to cool and forming distinct weather patterns in this zone and leaving it, while still sweltering, a cooler though much more humid climate.
The main biome are the luminescent warped-fungal rainforests that collect the high-rising minerals and odd moisture from the lakes. Liquid is actually precent here, though if it’s not safely filtered through the innards of the various plants and fungi, this water is usually aggressively corrosive, and it is best to shelter from the  acidic precipitation to avoid chemical burns. The nether folk and ender local to these rainforests are suited to deal with these conditions and the ender especially do not have trouble with the extreme pH of the water here like they would in the overworld. The zone is lit almost exclusively by the biolumincense of the organisms there and have often been described as false-stars.
In the Deep Nether, the ceiling may give way, allowing one to pass onto the plateaus of the Nether Roof and the yawning void above. The bedrock of the nether roof is jagged and layered in huge slabs, sometimes broken up my mazes of pillar-like structures and shallow, thermal pools of crystal-clear liquid. The kind you don't want to touch of course. fogs may hang low to the ground, but when its clear, or above the fog, the entire universe seems to spill out into the sky. The nether roof was culturally significant and a source of much knowledge and inspiration in the early days, but I'll get more into that in a later post 0.0
The Rime Zone: Plunge deep enough and one might find themselves bellow the lava beds. Here, where the heat can't quite penetrate, the temperatures will drop rapidly to sub-zero.
Namely, the Rime Zone is made up of the soul valleys, flat steppes of cinder and clotted sand, you can imagine it almost with the blindness effect, a fog that pools by your feet, and a heavier darkness hanging from the sky, it feels massive and endless and claustrophobic all at once. Frost collects as crystals on the irradiated, soul-soaked barrens, and the bones of the massive nether wyrms lie fossilized, breaking up the landscape. The sands are also split with patches of crazing on the ground and vents of blue fire that spills out and sets the sand ablaze.
These same wryms can be found sometimes, ancient things that dig through sand and soft rocks and the magma lakes, far and few between and treated with both fear and reverence.
And in the deepest pits of the Neath are the glowing frozen lakes that are colloquially and rightfully called the Gates to Death, glowing blue from beneath their surfaces. Indeed, any further down and you pass into limbo, the edge of Death's Realms.
Extra Notes??:
Soul sand/soil is tread on carefully or not at all, is one form of remnants from the apocolyspe. Like the general radiated rubble present through the Nether, it's a fault of nuclear fallout. Unlike other areas of radiation, its also been infused with the souls of those who didn't survive the joining of worlds.
This infused quality is also precent in Nether Debris, resulting in a material that takes magic particularly well.
Iron cannot be found in dense veins and crystals like gold or quartz in the nether, but it's a pretty rich mineral a lot of netherack, giving it its ruddy coloring.
Sorry for this massive rant that no one asked for. If you have questions please feel free to send an ask, I may not have an answer yet but I'll certainly come up with one if I can.
I'm also hoping to do a pass on my headcanons about history and culture in the Nether and then we might start talking about character headcanons since this is also an actual AU.
If you read this far, here's some notes on striders and ghast

Big titty female reader with dottores segments 🗣️
SFW for the first few parts, somewhat NSFW at the middle to the end
Tumblr media
Each segment shows affection very differently towards you. There's just something affecting their circuits whenever they see your large chest bouncing and presented only to them.
Yes, you may be Zandik's girlfriend but the segments are also him from different timelines and ages so it still counts, right? That means they can touch you too.
Kappa (childttore) would be one to always run to you whenever he feels scared or had a nightmare or whenever he accidentally messed something up (which in case, it's practically normal but his mind indicates if he did something bad he's in deep trouble). He would cry in your arms and bury his face in your chest, the warmth radiating from you immediately helping to soothe him down.
Eta (teenttore) shows that he doesn't like you, that he only sees you as a negative variable that's distracting him from his tasks. He would scowl at you whenever you hug him affectionately, he would call you a bimbo even (he makes sure to only say that whenever Zandik isn't around, if he called you that in front of his creator then he would be in trouble) But deep down, he actually likes your hugs, he doesn't mind if your giant breasts suffocate the oxygen outta him at all. Both him and Kappa think of you as a mother figure, the way you hug them as a mother would to their child and even comfort and support them.
Iota, Theta, and Beta (Akademiyattore and Webttores) being among the younger versions of Zandik, would lack a bit of self-control. Iota would pull you somewhere comfortable just to order you to hug him. One time, he asked you to suffocate him with your chests if he becomes angry and you did as told. Not letting the segment leave as you pressed your chest against his face, watching how he kept squirming and muttering mumbled curses before falling asleep. He looked like a toddler clinging onto you as he snored quietly.
Theta and Beta on the other hand uses your chests as a stress relief. Whenever they are too focused on their tasks and starting to get annoyed, they would reach their hands out towards you before they both groped your breast each, Theta having one in his grasp while Beta held the other. They made sure that you weren't wearing any bra, they already got tired of being scolded almost every day for tearing that garment into pieces whenever they needed to de-stress. While Theta and Beta talk to one another, their hands would sometimes squeeze your breasts. Sometimes to be able to focus, they would pinch and pull at your sensitive buds. You're basically sitting on the desk, staying still and looking pretty and even letting out a moan or two.
Omega, Epsilon and Delta are ones who definitely uses you as a stress reliever every thrice or even many times a week. They wouldn't even mind sharing you with each other as long as you help them focus on their work. Oh how their favorite body part of yours is your chest. How big and soft and lovely they are. They would definitely grope it, even kiss and nip at it. Sometimes you'll be walking around with bite marks scattered all over your chest, even around your nipples from the segments suckling and biting.
The segments really love it when you give them a titjob. How they can see their dick being squished in between your lovely breasts while you suck them off just drives them to euphoria.
All in all, the segments love your chest. Each of them showing how they appreciate it. Rating? Oh, definitely a 100/10.

The duality of Man, or triality? quadrality?
Alien to Human about New Human: Correct me if I'm wrong, but they appear abnormally large for your species?
H: Yea, he's a biggun alright, even without the EV suit I'd say... 7'3'', 310 pounds, bet he power lifts.
A: Umm... not to be rude, but, uhh... he seems, well... how should I put this...
H: Intimidating? Terrifying? Evil? Yea, if this station didn't have high screening standards I'd be totally pissing myself if he started walking towards me. The mohawk and eye tat totally make me believe he could snap me in two with a single glare.
A: I feel ashamed that my instincts are telling me to flee. I wish nature were easier to change.
H (shouting at NH): Hey buddy! Could you come over here for a minute please? You look awesome by the way!
A (whispering nervously): what are you doing?!?
H: Gotta overcome those fears somehow, I believe the best way is a direct confrontation.
NH approaches, somewhat slowly, looking around at all the other aliens in the station that are chatting, waiting around, or doing some work. He finally approaches A and H, and in a very deep and husky voice says: Um, hi, hello. T-thanks for the compliment, I, uh, was a little worried I would stand out too much here.
H: Oh you totally do, my friend over here is practically about to pass out from how much like a gothic viking of death metal you look.
NH: Oh no, I'm so sorry, I-I just grew up in Sweden-Delta and both my parents were huge into classic local music, so I just, uh... it's complicated. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare anyone.
H: Hey, relax pal, we're all good people here. Anyway, what you here to do? I'm planning on starting a bakery, still testing out what kind of flour most species here can actually stomach. My friend here is on the team working on Moon theft preventative measures.
NH: Oh, that's cool. I'm here as an exchange student with the department of applied astrophysics. If all goes well, I can finish my Bachelors degree remotely and stay here as an intern with the head researcher.
H: Oooh, that's cool. (so cool yea that you're apparently half my age but oh well guess I'm a big fat time waster like my father before me and oh god change the subject before I get depressed in front of strangers) That's a real big bag you got there, carrying some super secret science things, eh?
NH: Oh, that... uhh... guess it can't hurt to tell, security vetted it already anyway.
NH proceeds to unzip the bag and hold up a large white piece of clothing with light blue rings and accents, alongside a strange white cap with what looked like small fins, and a curious little backpack.
NH: It's uhh... um... my... Ika... musume... cosplay.... (oh gods I can't believe I said it out loud again)
After a moment of awkward silence, NH slowly puts on the backpack and presses a button on it's strap, and suddenly numerous light blue colored tentacle-like appendages sprout out from the backpack and move in line with NH's movements.
NH: I, uh..., got my engineering friend to make them articulate and interface with my contacts. I can make them do all sorts of things, like make various shapes and animals with them, though works best as a shadow theater.
H:...
NH:...
A now frozen out of confusion than fear:...
H: That's so
NH: (oh I know it's so lame, but I love that show)-
H: COOL! I don't know what a ika musume is, but those things look amazing. You said articulate? How precise can they be? I'd love to have something like that instead of my useless assistant. Poor lad can't make a piece of toast if his life depended on it...
NH: Y-you like it?
H: I LOVE those things. My daughter does cosplay too sometimes, but she makes her Dreadnought suits herself from scraps. One time the military came to our house and installed a limiter on the gauss cannon she found in a crash site, said it would otherwise start to generate small doses of radiation if used too frequently. But she replaced it with a handmade rail gun before the next convention. Do you go to those? Did you see a 7 meter tall hulking metal monstrosity with a bunch of candles all over? That was her.
NH: Oh, I think I've seen video of that, but no, not in person, I go to smaller events. I don't really like big crowds.
H: Oh yea, I get ya, you do seem a bit on the shy side now that we've been talking for a bit. Hey, no worries, like I said, we're all good people here.
NH: T-thanks, but I think I should be going now, the teacher is calling me over.
H: Oh yea, go ahead, didn't mean to take up so much of your time. Have a fun stay and I'm sure you'll ace that paper or theory? Or whatever astrophysicists do, you seem like a solid kid.
NH: Oh, uh, thanks. Good luck with your bakery. And you with stopping those weird people from stealing more moons. Bye.
H: Bye bye, come visit, don't be a stranger now, I'm set up just a short bit from the main lift on floor 14.
NH: R-right, I'll, uh, be sure to stop by soon.
A is finally able to process what they just heard and says: What was all that just now?
H: What? Just a friendly chat with what is apparently basically a kid. Man, this kid's got so much going on, while I'm almost 50 and I have an oven. Life, man, it can go in so many ways. Anyway, let's go grab a drink, I'm parched.

𝐻𝑒𝒶𝒹𝒸𝒶𝓃𝑜𝓃𝓈 ::
• Growing up at Kara, it was a given that you were shy, along with being incredibly scared. You never had many social interactions apart from with Jigen and with Amado, on the rare occasion, you would've conversed with Delta and Code, but apart from them, that was it.
• You don't have any friends, you linger around Amado as his job was to train you because it was evident that you had no intentions for Jigen to train you. Not having any memories from when before you came to Kara led you to believe that you were born here, you don't remember anything apart from these grey cobalt walls that surround you constantly.
• So, years past to when you were now six, your hand clutched on Amado's as you stood beside him, however, you body was clearly behind his side. You feared what was happening in front of you. It was a rule for you never to stray from Amado's side, apart from one room.
• This room in question was the room that Jigen or more so Isshiki, was finding any child to bare the Karma to be the next vessel. And this, this was your first time laying your eyes on such a scary sight. But then, you head peaked out from behind Amado to see a singular boy inside on of the last tubes and your eyes widen.
"Amado," you whispered out, fear of being heard by Jigen.
"Yes, {Y/n}?" Amado replied in he same whispered tone, although, he wasn't afraid of Jigen as he circled the boy.
"Who's that?" you asked, your finger pointing up discreetly at the boy.
Amado lets out a small sigh before the grip on your hand tightened reassuringly. "He'll be staying here for a while," Amado replies.
Before you could pry further, Jigen's voice boomed through the air. "Amado, why bring the girl here?" Jigen's hands where held behind his back and his deep black eye bore into your own, causing you to hide fully behind Amado's back.
"It's a good experience for her, to see this," Amado replies. "It's essential for her to do so if she is my growing apprentice."
Jigen lets out a sounding hum, indicating that he was thinking over what Amado was saying before agreeing reluctantly, "Fine, make sure she doesn't bother him."
• Then, that was the last you saw the boy for months until he ended up in the infirmary and it was your duty to heal him. That there, was was were it all started. You had no thoughts when treating him, your only job was to heal him as quick as possible.
• The first time you ever helped Kawaki with his injury, before you entered the infirmary, Jigen was outside waiting for you. He had specifically said and stated that you were not permitted to converse with Kawaki unless it was under dire circumstances.
• So, as you were busy catering to his injuries you completely missed his gaze on you. His grey eyes followed your every movement, and for once in his life, he wasn't scared around you, he felt no evil intent radiating off of you, you felt soothing. Kind.
• During the day's Kawaki fell inured or sick, he'd be placed with you so you could heal him as you were gifted with healing, along with your abilities being modified further by Amado.
• Kawaki soon realised that you never spoke, he knew you weren't mute as he's overheard your gentle voice speaking to Amado. He wondered why you never spoke around him, Kawaki wondered if you were even permitted to talk to him, which to what he realised was probably the case.
"That hurt," Kawaki said experimentally, wondering what your reaction was going to be.
Your reaction? Your eyes had widened slightly, your hands freezing as you were disinfecting a wound on his leg.
"Sorry," you mumbled back before continuing with your work.
• Then, in a blink of an eye, months turned into years and you were still the one healing for Kawaki, apart from Amado who occasionally was supervising you or if he was modifying Kawaki's body again.
• During those years, the two of you got closer, Kawaki had actually grown to worry about you, to care about you. You would talk to each other, having actual conversations, you two could be yourselves around each other, even despite the cold environment created by Jigen.
• And during those years, you had realised that this boy, the boy who had turned into a teen to which you had to heal, was the boy that you had fallen in love with.
Tumblr media
• When to two of you arrived in Konoha, during and after the crash, Kawaki was protecting you, sheiling you from Garo and the Shinobi of the hidden leaf. You had no fighting experience, so you were behind Kawaki the entire time.
• However, when Kawaki defeated Garo and fainted, you were all alone and scared, worried for what the four people surrounding you might do to you. You were grateful that they didn't injure you in any sort of way, they were surprisingly kind towards you, especially the man who called himself the Hokage. The Hokage let you live with him, give you a place to stay, while during the day, you spent your time by Kawaki's hospital bed, healing him when the doctors and nurses weren't there.
• When Kawaki was finally up and awake, his protective instincts towards you only grew stronger. He’s constantly on edge, making sure no one in Konoha poses a threat to you, especially since you’re both outsider's
• Adapting to the way Konoha is a challenge, as it's so so different than Kara, but having each other has made it easier. The two of you sleep in the same room together, walked everywhere with each other, doing every mundane task with each other.
• Kawaki is too protective of you to leave you alone. He will always be with you no matter where you are. Kawaki knows that you aren't strong, that you only have the enhanced ability to heal others and that you are very adept in the medical field. So, he doesn't want you to get hurt.
• Kawaki is unused to seeing you act with the individuals in Konoha, specifically Boruto. He doesn't like it for an unknown reason, he gets the urge to pull you away from him. Kawaki isn't aware of his feelings yet, he has that unknown feeling inside of him but he didn't know that what he was feeling was love.
• You are free here in Konoha, you have the ability to do whatever you want and you will not get jeopardised. Kawaki has seen you smile more than you ever had in your entire life in this small month. He begins to notice the small things about you that make his heart race, how your eyes light up when you’re happy, how your smile eases his worries, or how your touch lingers a little longer than before.
• However, Kawaki is struggling with these new growing feelings, he's confused on what the emotion is so he gets mad at himself. He gets even more frustrated when this feeling grows whenever your close to him.
• One day, after Delta had attacked the village, Kawaki lets his guard down and blurts out something that makes you both realize how deep his feelings run. It’s awkward, but the truth is out there, and neither of you can take it back. He didn't mean to, he was just so annoyed at himself how he allowed you to get hurt for protecting him recklessly.
• Once Kawaki acknowledges his feelings, he becomes even more protective of you, and he's careful not to hurt you and always checks to make sure you’re comfortable.
• Kawaki isn’t used to expressing affection openly, but he starts showing it in subtle ways, like pulling you closer during cold nights, brushing stray hair from your face, or keeping his hand on your back in crowded places. Kawaki starts to find excuses to be closer to you, like sitting next to you during meals or standing a little too close when you’re together.
• Now onto your first kiss 🤭 It happens when the two of you are alone, and it's quiet. The two of you are probably sitting close to each other in silence. And it was you who began to look at Kawaki first, you were admiring him. It wasn't too long before he realised that you were looking at him, the intensity of your gaze was... intense, to say the least.
• Kawaki swallows a lump in his throat as your eyes flickered down towards his lips and he unconsciously does the same. He only then realises how badly he wanted to close in the distance.
• When Kawaki leans in, you immediately close your eyes as did he. His movements were almost hesitant as his lips gently brush up against yours, as if he was testing if what he was doing what was okay. When Kawaki feels you sigh into the kiss, and when your hand makes placed shakily on his shoulder, gripping his coat, he knew what he was doing was right.
• The kiss was so sweet and tender that it even shocked you, but it shocked Kawaki too. He hadn't realised how good it would've felt to kiss someone that he loves, the kiss feels so natural and he is so gentle.
• After the kiss, Kawaki leans his forehead against yours, closing his eyes as he takes a deep breath. He takes in how your eyes were blown wide.
"I love you, Kawaki," you said quietly, but your gaze was never wavering from his.
"I love you," he replies softly.
• You and Kawaki often find yourselves spending quiet moments together, just enjoying each other’s presence. And, Kawaki makes it clear to you that he won't hurt you, lose you. That, he will do anything to keep you safe.
Even if it includes sealing you with Lord Seventh and Lady Hinata

Tumblr media
You’re not sure why the drive home is so quiet, Benny had won his fight after all. Even though it was off a technicality, he still won fair and square. Usually he’s buzzing with excitement after a win but right now, as you’re sandwiched between him and Santi in the backseat of the Jeep, you can tell he’s fuming. The heat radiating off his body should have long dissipated it’s been nearly an hour since he’d won.
Earlier in the locker room
“I know it’s not the way you wanted to win but we’re all still proud of you babe.”
It’s just him and you leaning against the wall inside the locker rooms. The rest of the boys are out grabbing beers, and are likely having the same conversation you’re having right now. He’s got a far away stare in his eyes that you’ve seen before, but not since your days in delta. That was years ago, and now you just want to kiss his face and tell him everything is okay. You won’t though because even though he won and he knows you always take care of him after a win, the only thing he’s said to you since you joined him in the locker room was that he didn’t want any company tonight.
It stings a little even though it shouldn’t. He’s entitled to want some space, and if you’re being honest with yourself, you are being a little selfish brat at the moment. It’s not entirely your fault when after a win he’s usually got you pressed against the lockers with your skirt bunched up around your torso, your legs wrapped around his waist and your hands on his bare shoulders. His strength after a fight is always surprising. Normally at this point, he’s holding you up with ease as he roughly fucks you against the lockers with your muffled cries of pleasure getting lost into the crook of his neck. His cock would be slammings into you over and over until you both reach your peak together. Jesus Christ you need to get a grip because you're having flashbacks about the man that is right next to you, and clearly upset.
Is your brain seriously letting you be this ridiculous? You live with 3 other men who are fully capable of keeping you company tonight. There’s just something about Benny after a fight that you can’t shake the feeling, the craving you have for him. That hungry look in his eyes when he has you laid out on the bench with his head between your thighs. He kisses your thighs and runs his tongue slowly up to your aching center,as if he’s forgotten he’s in a locker room and you most definitely can’t take your time. But he always does with you, he slowly licks your folds, his tongue feels hot compared to the cold bench on your back. The duael sensations are driving you mad. He nips at your clit and you look down at him almost in protest but those piercing blue eyes look back at you and he has this shit eating grin on his face. It’s the one you love and know when he’s being playful, he just wants to make sure you’re still here with him. He continues circling your clit with his tongue and you know you’re dripping down onto the bench beneath you. You’re desperately trying to be quiet but he adds a finger into you and you lose all train of thought as he fucks into you at a rapid pace, his tongue flicks your clit and a chill runs down your spine as you lose all sense of where you are. Your quiet whimpers have now turned into louder moans of his name.
Jesus fucking Christ you’re doing it again, get a grip. You can survive one night without Benny.
You will just have to torture one of the others with your frustrations, and how fun might that be?
As your thoughts drift back to the present, you’re in the car and you can see that Will has fallen asleep in the front seat. He’s been training Ben all week and is likely exhausted and a bit frustrated as well with the results. Will hates technicality wins because it messes with his overall record. Ben has been fighting for so long now it’s mostly knockouts across the board. Will is calculated and calm, he always has been. He’s the perfect trainer to juxtapose Benny’s fired up demeanor.
He was very calculated just two mornings ago when he fucked you in the kitchen. You both had a restless night sleep so you found yourselves bright and early in the kitchen enjoying your coffee together like a domestic couple in the suburbs. Except you weren’t a domestic couple by any means were you? No, both of you are in a full on relationship with 3 other people, both e your black coffee in your shared home at 5 am because you both had nightmares ( you all have nightmares) from your time in delta, and from your various other illegal activities after leaving the service.
You hate the restless nights but you love mornings like this, where the two of you, and sometimes all five of you,can enjoy your black coffee in silence, like the silent trained killers that you are (were?). That doesn’t matter, that’s just a joke between you and Santiago anyway.
“Are you done with your coffee?” Will asks with that sultry drawl of his voice still lazy with the lack of sleep.
You don’t answer but you slowly set your cup down on the granite countertop. He tilts his head and levels you with those blue eyes you’ve grown to love over the years. He’s let his hair grow out since leaving the service and his beard comes in nicely just slightly darker than his blonde hair that you love to pull when things get intimate. He stalks towards you in his gray sweatpants and crisp white, and too tight, t-shirt. You still haven’t answered him as he cages you against the cold counter top. You can feel the hard press of his cock against your abdomen in your thin oversized army T shirt. Is it yours? You’re not even sure anymore, it’s probably Frankie’s shirt but Will doesn’t care. He obviously doesn’t mind sharing.
He slowly grabs the hem of the shirt, his fingers dancing against your thighs. He raises his eyebrow at you asking for permission because of course it’s Will. You take his hands away from your shirt and quickly toss it over your head as it lands somewhere to your left to be found later. He stills in front of you taking in your naked form.
“ No panties or bra?” He asks you another question as if you’ve answered the first question.
What was the first question? He wastes no time lifting you onto the cold counter top. He kisses your neck and slowly drags his tongue down the line until he reaches your nipple, taking his time sucking and using his hand to grab the other breast and squeeze, brushing his thumb across your nipple. Your whole body is alight with goosebumps now, and pretty much anytime, Will ever touches you.
Before you can finish recanting your thoughts of the other morning you’re rudely interrupted by Santi poking you in the rib.
“Ouch what the fuck!”
“Calm down Honey I barely poked you!”
Even in the darkness of the car you can see his piercing gaze and his shit eating grin.
“Yeah, I’m trying to figure out why you poked me?” You say sassier than you wanted and return the grin in favor with slightly more of a smile than you wanted .
Frankie chimes in from the drive’rs seat
He asked you a question? When? You can’t even remember with your thoughts so caught up in fantasizing about the men you lived with.
“Hermosaaaaa, are you still with us?” Frankie’s eyes are somehow on you in the rear view mirror and paying attention to the road at the same time.
“We’ll I’ve got your attention now so I’ll ask again” Pope says in a bit of high pitched annoyance. “Which one of us is your favorite?”
You scoff at the idea that you would even answer let alone think that this stupid question is what pulled you from your thoughts of you and Will the other morning.
“ Do you actually think she would answer that?” Ben chimes in from beside you and you notice some of the heat and annoyance has dissipated from his demeanor.
He now seems more relaxed, shoulders less tense. You relax a little at the sight of your Benny returning to you. Still, you will give him his space tonight because he asked and you will always respect their space. That’s the only way this all works…respect.
“ You know I’m not answering that, and besides you all annoy me with equal vigor so I couldn’t possibly have a favorite.””.
Without turning to face Santi, you dart out your right hand to poke him in the ribs but he catches your wrist and stops you full force. You wouldn’t dare turn your head to see the fucking Cheshire Cat smiling back at you in the darkness of the car. You already know he’s proud of himself because his chuckling is reverberating through your hand that he still has clasped in his grip.
He leans in real close to your ear ( not helping your predicament) you can smell the musky cologne and the faint smell of beer.
“Ah ah ah, gotta be quicker than that,” he says playfully, still sensing your annoyance.
You rip your wrist out of his grasp and huff in frustration, as you glance back at the front seat and see Will still sound asleep. It warms your heart because sleep is hard to come by sometimes, and Will could certainly use some shut-eye.
So you’re obviously checking Will off your list of who will be your victim tonight. Between his long week and the way Frankie drives, anyone was bound to fall asleep.
Your thoughts perk up thinking of Frankie, as you watch him drive with such ease and control. The broadness of his shoulders as he lazily turns the wheel onto a familiar street. He always has such control when it comes to anything besides you. He would gladly lose control for you. Just the thought of the first time you saw him fly a helicopter can make you cum. That’s what attracted you to him in the first place. Although you couldn’t believe how you had managed to be placed in delta force with the four hottest men in the world. it wasn’t really fair. You supposed that Tom kept things equal, statistically speaking, being the least attractive of them all.
Frankie could definitely ease your frustrations tonight. He could never say no to you, it seemed there wasn’t a time when he didn’t want you. Once again you find your thoughts drifting off to the other day. It was a hot humid day in Florida. The kind you hated because everything stuck to you in all the wrong places. The sweat seems never ending on days like this and the bugs won’t leave you alone. Benny and Will were busy training at the gym and Santi was holed up in his office. You didn’t bother him on those days because you knew his mind would often take him to dark places. It had rained quite a bit the night before, and you knew the rain always brought thoughts of Columbia. He always took it the hardest and so you would leave him be for now.
That left you and Frankie to make what you could of this day and you knew he would do anything for you, and with you. The day had started off innocently enough, the two of you deciding to go to the beach.
Once you’ve arrived at the beach you quickly realize your mistake…everyone else in Florida had the same idea, and you and Frankie audibly groan at the sight of what feels likea thousand cars and a million people. Neither of you are in the mood for large crowds .
“What do you think Honey?”
You glance at Frankie in the driver’s seat and can’t help but smile. He tries so hard for you, you can see his smile lines have deepened over the years and his cap that perfectly frames his curls has faded slightly. You place your hand gently on his arm that’s gripping the steering wheel a little too tight and notice the blue shirt he’s wearing hugging his bicep.
“Let’s go home “ you try to say with conviction so that he thinks you’re not upset in the slightest.
“I feel bad we came all this way,” “ he says as he pulls onto the road and you notice his frown. You just want to pull him into a kiss so that he never makes that face again.
“ I really am enjoying watching you drive so it’s not a total waste.””. You throw a wink his way and see that smile return that you love so much. You decide to just enjoy the drive and the only breeze you’ll get all day with the windows down.
He keeps glancing over at you but you’re not sure he knows you can tell. You did wear his favorite sundress. It’s red with little blue flowers on it, t. Thin straps and a very low neckline that perfectly frames your breasts. The hem hits just above the knee, but with the way you’rer seated in the front, it’s slightly higher. He chances one more glance at you and you can’t help but tease a little.
“See something you like Morales?”
He doesn’t answer you but places his warm palm on your upper thigh. You’re both facing forward because you don’t dare look at him now, and of course he’s focused on the road. He inches his hand higher until his fingers dance across your aching center. Your breath hitches in your throat when he starts to rub circles on your clit with his calloused fingers.
“You’re so wet for me hermosa, just watching me drive get you like this?”
You don’t answer him but you slowly spread your thighs wider to give him room. He groans at the gesture and moves your panties to the side to drag a finger slowly up and down, your slick now coating his hand. He stills his movement at your slight whimper and chances a glance in your direction. Your breathing has become ragged and he watches your chest rise quickly trying to calm yourself. Reluctantly he pulls his hand away but you watch as he slowly brings his hand to his mouth and liocks his finger.
He looks back at the road and says in the most sultry tone you’ve ever heard grace his lips.
“If I don’t pull over I’m going to crash this fucking car.”
You smile to yourself, you don’t have much of an ego but it’s erotic to know how much you turn him on by just wearing a dress. They all can be very simple that way, and sometimes you find yourself drunk on the power that knowledge holds.
He drives for a while and you think maybe he was just talking but you start to not recognize your surroundings. The beach long in your rear view has now turned into long leaf pine trees, the smell is intoxicating. He’s definitely taking the long way home and you don’t mind at all. Before you can get caught up in scenery you notice he’s pulled off the main road, he nestled the Jeep between some trees. Just enough cover you think for what he has planned.
Between the nearly illegal tint on the Jeep and the trees you have plenty of privacy, although at the moment you don’t really care with how keyed up you are just from his fingers. Something about them being a vet lets them evade the tickets they would normally get for the darker than limo tint on the windows.
He carefully takes the keys out of the ignition, still not looking at you and carefully sets them in the cup holder. He slides his seat back to give you room (you assume). A comfortable silence falls between the two of you. Something you’re grateful for amongst all of them. They always make you feel comforted without speaking. Yyou can be yourself and just sit in the silence. Their presence is a blanket of protection that washes over you each and every day.
“Come here” he says in his low, husky tone. ,iIt’s not a question, but more of a command.
In less time than it takes you to blink you’re in his lap, your thighs on either side of his. You make quick work of his belt and he lifts you with him to slide his pants down. Each time you see his impressive length it takes your breath away. Frankie usually takes his time working you up but you’re already so wet you don’t want to waste anymore time, or risk getting caught. He gasps at the touch of your soft hand as you line yourself up to slide down his cock. The stretch has you both panting like you’ve run for miles. You rest your head against his broad chest, while he grips your waist as tight as he was holding the steering wheel just moments ago.
“Pleas-“ you both pant in unison. Which causes a chuckle from both of you. Neither of you know what you’re asking of the other. Is he asking you to move? Are you asking him to move?
Suddenly a sharp pain in your ribs has ripped you from your thoughts of Frankie and harshly thrust you back into reality, ( which you think you’re starting to lose your grip on).
“Earth to honey” Santi says in a sing-song tone.
You don’t normally mind that they call you by your call sign, it’s always sweet and endearing. Right now though, with the way Santi has interrupted your lewd thoughts not once but twice you want to break the finger that keeps poking you in the ribs.
Just as you’re about to give him a piece of your mind, you hear a loud groan from the driver’s seat.
“You good Fish?” Santi asks with concern for his best friend, the person he would do anything in the world for.
“Ya hermano it’s fine, it’s just my back is killing me and I’m ready to get home and lay out.”
You internally groan…well shit Frankie is off the list of victims. You would never disturb him on a night where he’s in pain. You all have been through the ringer between the service and your post service activities, and it’s definitely taken a toll on your bodies…some more than others.
You turn to look at Santi and resume your conversation about what his problem is with your ribs when suddenly it dawns on you.
He should’ve been your chosen victim from the start, he’s always so smug and you rarely get the chance to return the favor of him edging you for what can seem like hours. It usually doesn’t take much temptation from you to get him going.
You slowly start to slide your hand up his thigh, running your fingers along the seam of his tight jeans that always show off his great ass. You’re inching higher and without looking at you, you can tell he’s letting you as he slowly spreads his leg. You palm at his half hard cock through his jeans and you hear a low groan from somewhere deep in his throat.
You just want to tease him until you get home and then you can do with him what you want for as long as you deem necessary.
He adjusts his feet to give you more room and suddenly you hear a hiss come from him. You withdraw your hand immediately, fearing that you hurt him somehow.
“Did I hurt you?” You whisper into his ear so that the others can’t hear you.
“No carinño, it’s just my knees are killing me after last night,” he says apologetically.
“Oh for fuck’s sake,” you say out loud accidentally instead of in your head, like you meant to.
The look of shock and horror is etched onto Santi’s face and you just want the car to swallow you whole. You glance at Frankie in the rear view mirror and he has a look of concern and shock as well. You look to your right at Benny and the look of amusement is spread wide across his face. At least something good has come out of your outburst . It seems that the Benny you know and love is back and is loving the predicament you’ve most certainly got yourself into.
He crosses his arms and levels you with a grin and he just knows somehow where your thoughts have been this entire trip home.
“Care to share your thoughts with the class hermosa?” Frankie says slightly less concerned, now that he can see the embarrassment written across your face.
“No,no it’s fine….I’m fine, I’ll be okay “ you’re trying to convince yourself. “I just need a really cold shower.””. You say as you let your head drop onto Benny’s shoulder.
“Well we’re almost home, do you think you can survive until then? He asks now completely amused with this whole situation that he’s clearly missed because he’s been safely trying to get you all home.
Probably not, you think to yourself this time instead of saying it out loud.
Who could survive being surrounded by these four men who on any occasion you could have your way with yet tonight, as if it’s some horrible joke, you can’t have any of them. You start to think that you’re being a bit of a brat again, but you’re too far gone to care.
You feel like a fairytale gone horribly wrong, instead of Snow White and the seven dwarves it’s Honey and the four mercenaries. Mopey, Sleepy, Achey, and Breaky.
You’re now audibly laughing and concern washes over the car again.
“What did I miss, what’s so funny?” Will chimes in from the front seat, now wide awake.
“Nothing, I just think we broke her.” Santi states from beside you, careful to watch your movements for any sudden jabs to the rib. He thinks your laughter is a distraction to sneak attack him but you’ve long forgotten all about him interrupting your thoughts.
As Frankie turns the last corner onto your street, you silently resign to yourself.
You’ll just have to keep your own company tonight.

one issue with re-treading tos era trek that is perhaps minor but is very annoying to me personally is you get disconnects like having medical tech that can temporarily alter people at the genetic level to disguise them as aliens, but if you get fried by delta radiation there’s just no treatment that can mitigate any of the effects, and also hospice care is apparently still a horrifying nightmare even in this advanced utopian future. like pike’s prospects should not be this miserable. he should expecting a flying wheelchair at the bare minimum

< Introduction >
People with the ENFP personality type (Campaigners) are true free spirits – outgoing, openhearted, and open-minded. With their lively, upbeat approach to life, ENFPs stand out in any crowd. But even though they can be the life of the party, they don’t just care about having a good time. These personalities have profound depths that are fueled by their intense desire for meaningful, emotional connections with others.
ENFP personalities carry an interesting blend of carefree sociability, sparkling imagination, and deep, contemplative introspection. They regularly use their natural curiosity and expansive creativity to try to better understand themselves and the complex dynamics of human relationships. And they are truly devoted to nurturing their relationships with and their understanding of the world at large.
In their unique way, ENFPs’ introspective nature is driven by their imagination, wonder, and belief in things that cannot always be explained rationally. People with this personality type truly believe that everything – and everyone – is connected, and they live for the glimmers of insight that they can gain from these connections. They believe that how we treat one another really matters. In fact, ENFPs are the most likely personality type to believe in the concept of karma.
ENFPs are independent and creative, always on the lookout for the magic and meaning in everyday life. They can’t help but ponder the deeper significance of life – even when they should be paying attention to something else.
When something sparks their imagination, ENFPs show an enthusiasm that is nothing short of infectious. These personalities can’t help but to radiate a positive energy that draws other people in. Consequently, they might find themselves being held up by their peers as a leader or guru. However, once their initial bloom of inspiration wears off, ENFPs can struggle with self-discipline and consistency, losing steam on projects that once meant so much to them.
Seeking joy:
ENFP personalities are proof that seeking out life’s joys and pleasures isn’t the same as being shallow. Seemingly in the blink of an eye, people with this personality type can transform from impassioned idealists to carefree figures on the dance floor.
ENFP personalities are capable of intense thought and feeling – and also of kicking back and having a good time.
Even in moments of fun, ENFPs want to connect emotionally with others. Few things matter more to these personalities than having genuine, heartfelt conversations with the people they cherish. ENFPs believe that everyone deserves to express their feelings, and their empathy and warmth create spaces where even the most timid spirits can feel comfortable opening up.
ENFPs need to be careful, however. Their intuition may lead them to read far too much into other people’s actions and behaviors. Instead of simply asking for an explanation, they may end up puzzling over someone else’s desires or intentions. This kind of social stress is what keeps harmony-focused ENFP personalities awake at night.
ENFPs will spend a lot of time exploring different relationships, feelings, and ideas before they find a path for their life that feels right. But when they do finally find their way, their imagination, empathy, and courage can light up not only their own life but also the world around them.
< Strength and weaknesses >
Strengths:
Curious – People with the ENFP personality type (Campaigners) can find beauty and fascination in nearly anything. Imaginative and open-minded, ENFP personalities aren’t afraid to venture beyond their comfort zone in search of new ideas, experiences, and adventures. Moreover, their curiosity extends beyond simply seeking novelty. They also have a deep desire to understand how things work and why they are the way they are.
Perceptive – To people with this personality type, no one is unimportant – which might explain how they can pick up on even the subtlest shifts in another person’s mood or expression. Because they’re so sensitive to other people’s feelings and needs, ENFPs can make full use of their caring, considerate nature.
Enthusiastic – When something captures their imagination and inspires them, ENFP personalities want to share it with anyone who will listen. And they’re just as eager to hear other people’s ideas and opinions – even if those thoughts are wildly different from their own.
Excellent Communicators – People with the ENFP personality type brim with things to say, but they can be caring listeners as well. This gives them a nearly unmatched ability to have positive and enjoyable conversations with all sorts of people – even people who aren’t particularly sociable or agreeable.
Easygoing – ENFPs may live for deep, meaningful conversations, but they can also be spontaneous and lighthearted. These personalities know how to find fun and joy in the present moment – and few things give them more pleasure than sharing their joy with others.
Good-Natured and Positive – All of these strengths come together to form a person who is warmhearted and approachable, with an altruistic spirit and a friendly disposition. ENFPs strive to get along with pretty much everyone, and their circles of acquaintances and friends often stretch far and wide.
Weaknesses:
People-Pleasing – Most people with the ENFP personality type are uncomfortable with the prospect of being disliked. To maintain the peace, they may compromise on things that matter to them or allow others to treat them poorly. And when they fail to win someone over, they might lose sleep trying to figure out what to do about it.
Unfocused – The thrill of a new project – especially one that involves collaborating with other people – can bring out the best in these personalities. But ENFPs are known for having ever-evolving interests, meaning that they may find it challenging to maintain discipline and focus over the long term.
Disorganized – ENFPs’ focus on the big picture and their love for exploring new ideas and experiences can sometimes overshadow their attention to everyday practical matters. Specifically, people with this personality type may try to avoid the routine tasks that they view as boring like household chores, basic maintenance, or paperwork. The resulting sense of disorganization can become a major source of stress in their life.
Overly Accommodating – ENFP personalities feel called to uplift others, and they may find themselves saying yes whenever anyone asks them for guidance or help. But unless they set boundaries, even the most energetic among them can become overcommitted, with too little time and energy to tackle the necessities of their own life.
Overly Optimistic – Optimism can be among this personality type’s key strengths. But ENFPs’ rosy outlook can lead them to make well-intentioned but naive decisions, such as believing people who haven’t earned their trust. This trait can also make it difficult for these personalities to accept hard but necessary truths – and to share those truths with others.
Restless – With their positive, upbeat attitude, ENFPs rarely seem upset or dissatisfied on the outside. But their inner idealism can leave them with a nagging feeling that some major areas of their life just aren’t good enough – whether that’s their work, their home life, or their relationships.
< Romantic Relationships >
It’s hard to overstate just how much people with the ENFP personality type (Campaigners) care about love. ENFPs are passionate, warm, and openhearted individuals full of hopes, dreams, and ideas, longing for a life of rich experiences. And they bring every ounce of this vibrant energy to their romantic relationships.
For ENFP personalities, romantic relationships are beautiful and exhilarating – an opportunity for two souls to not only explore the world together but also connect on the deepest of levels.
Many ENFPs harbor a deep longing to share their life with another person. As a result, these personalities may feel a bit empty or uninspired when they’re single. While their dedication to relationships is admirable, ENFPs may need to guard against investing too much of their sense of self in their relationship status.
Fanning the flames:
When ENFPs are interested in someone, they rarely hold back. People with this personality type tend to fall in love easily – and they fall hard. These individuals shower their new flame with affection, trusting that the devotion and passion that they feel are real.
Optimists at heart, ENFP personalities are undaunted by the practical challenges and inconveniences of a new partnership. This might explain why they generally don’t shy away from long-distance relationships. In their minds, physical distance is no match for the power of true love. Rather than focusing on potential issues, ENFPs sink into the joys of a relationship’s honeymoon stage, constantly looking for ways to prove their dedication and delight their partner.
In a world of dating games and rules, ENFPs’ willingness to throw caution to the wind can be a breath of fresh air.
For better or for worse, not everyone can match this personality type’s ardor and intensity. Some people just need more space – whether physical, emotional, or both. If their partner’s enthusiasm doesn’t seem to match their own, ENFPs may find themselves wondering if they’re doing something wrong.
And when the flames of romance start to flicker or wane as a relationship matures – as happens in nearly every longer-term relationship – ENFP personalities might worry that their devotion has been misplaced and the match isn’t meant to be after all.
The mystery of relationships:
ENFPs tend to be very affectionate and playful with their partner. People with this personality type consider physical touch to be an essential and effective way to communicate their love in their romantic relationships.
Perhaps because they’re so unstinting with their affection, ENFPs can struggle with the mystery of why some relationships don’t work out. Shouldn’t love be enough to keep two people happily together – especially when one of those partners is as eager to please as ENFP personalities are?
But, like everyone, people with this personality type need to remember that relationships are in all ways mutual – mutual interest, mutual growth, and mutual responsibility. As many ENFPs learn, the fate of a relationship has less to do with whether it was “meant to be” in some cosmic sense than with how partners treat and communicate with each other.
ENFP personalities know that lasting love takes effort and commitment – but they may become alarmed when the work of being in a relationship starts to feel like, well, work.
Cherished ideals:
ENFPs approach their relationships with the highest of ideals. They long to know and unconditionally accept everything about their partner, just as they long for that person to know and unconditionally accept them in return.
With this intense, all-in approach to love, ENFPs may feel more energized in the exciting, unpredictable early stages of a courtship than they do in established relationships. People with this personality type tend to revel in the thrill of exploring new ideas and experiences with their significant other. However, successful long-term relationships require more than just two people who enjoy discovering new things together.
For ENFPs, navigating practical matters such as chores, budgeting, and social or family obligations can sometimes seem painfully unromantic. But unless these types take on their share of the responsibilities and help keep things running smoothly, they may actually create or amplify any stress in their relationship.
In settled relationships, ENFP personalities may find themselves longing for the days when they and their partner were more focused on candlelit dinners than who was going to empty the dishwasher.
Fortunately, ENFPs can find ways to balance their spontaneous, passionate nature with the stability and consistency that long-term relationships require. With their trademark sensitivity and goodwill, these personalities can transform even the most mundane tasks into a creative, heartfelt expression of love.
< Friendships >
With their natural vivacity, people with the ENFP personality type (Campaigners) are effortlessly sociable. They generally make friends wherever they go using their charm and their excellent communication skills to draw in an interesting and diverse social circle – something that these personalities take pride in.
As friends, ENFPs are uplifting and supportive. They’re nearly always up for a little lighthearted banter – or a deep, heartfelt discussion about anything and everything. Moreover, they have a knack for making their friends feel seen, valued, and appreciated.
Generous and authentic, ENFPs have much to offer in the realm of friendship. At times, however, they may struggle with a suspicion that they care more about their friends than their friends care about them – a suspicion that can leave these sociable, warmhearted personalities feeling more than a little lonely.
For people with the ENFP personality type, friendship is an opportunity to see the universe through another person’s eyes.
The adventure of friendship:
Imaginative and upbeat, ENFPs know how to transform even the most ordinary moments into a special occasion. And for these personalities, nearly any opportunity to spend time with friends is a special occasion. ENFPs cherish their friends, and they’d hate to take a single moment together for granted.
With their trademark good cheer, ENFP personalities can turn any occasion into an adventure – an unforgettable dance party, an impromptu cookie-baking contest, or a soul-baring conversation about the state of the world.
As you might expect, ENFPs’ sociable energy can be a magnet for other outgoing personality types. But their warmth and sincerity draws all sorts of people out of their shells, and many ENFPs feel drawn to befriend those who are relatively shy or reserved.
Attracted to depth and nuance, people with this personality type find it gratifying to watch someone gradually open up and reveal their innermost thoughts and feelings. And with their unique combination of sensitivity and enthusiasm, ENFP personalities can help quieter friends feel understood and accepted – and a little exhilarated.
In too deep:
From the outside, it might seem that friendship comes easily to people with this personality type – and to some extent, it does. But that doesn’t mean that ENFPs always experience the deep, meaningful relationships that they long for.
Some people simply don’t want to open up emotionally in the way that these personalities crave. Others may turn out to be closed-minded or judgmental in ways that don’t match their values. To ENFPs, it can sometimes seem as if the rest of the world were satisfied with superficial, casual relationships. In these moments, they can’t help but wonder whether their deep longing for human connection is just too much for other people to handle.
Ever the idealists, ENFPs may find it difficult to accept that they can’t befriend everyone.
Their idealism can also cause issues within their close friendships. This personality type is known for going to great lengths to be caring and helpful. ENFPs take pride in being unfailingly generous with their energy, time, money, attention, and emotions. But, at times, these personalities may give so much to their friendships that they can’t meet their own needs. Unfortunately, even between the dearest of friends, this sort of imbalance can create resentment and misunderstanding.
Making life spectacular:
Fortunately, ENFPs’ emotional sensitivity enables them to respond not only to their friends’ needs but also to their own. Once they learn to balance their desire to help others with their need to stay true to themselves, ENFPs can bring the full strength of their empathy, curiosity, and joy to their friendships. And the adventures that people with this personality type share with their friends are the stuff that a great life is made of.
< Parenthood >
For people with the ENFP personality type (Campaigners), one of the great joys of parenthood is sharing their sense of wonder and inspiration with their children. Few things feel more rewarding to ENFP parents than seeing their child light up with curiosity about the world around them, take steps to discover how things work, and use their knowledge to help make society better. These parents do not merely want their children to survive in the world – they want to inspire them to change it.
ENFP parents also work hard to ensure that their children feel accepted and worthy just as they are. Rather than pressuring their children to look or act a certain way, these personalities encourage their children’s creativity and self-expression. Drawing on their own ingenuity and creativity, ENFP parents guide their children to discover and embrace their unique passions and interests.
ENFPs encourage their children’s curiosity, sweeping away dolls and dinosaurs when interests shift to the ocean, then sweeping away the fish when tastes change again to the stars.
Balancing love and discipline:
Striking the right balance between respecting their children’s autonomy and enforcing discipline can sometimes be a challenge for ENFP parents due to their strong affinity for harmony and individual freedom. They might not always have the heart (or, as they may see it, the lack of heart) to enforce the rules and restrictions needed to provide structure and reinforce important boundaries. These personalities often worry that if they’re too strict a disciplinarian, they’ll compromise the loving bond that they have with their children.
With time, however, many people with the ENFP personality type discover that having just enough structure can actually help their children thrive. Once they recognize this, these parents often learn to set guidelines in a way that’s loving but firm. In this light, enforcing appropriate rules can become yet another way that ENFP personalities express just how much they love and care for their children.
No matter how their children behave, ENFP parents rarely lose touch with their open-minded and empathetic nature.
ENFPs tend to radiate acceptance and compassion. As parents, they aim to become confidants who their children can open up to without fear of judgment. People with this personality type excel at creating safe spaces where their children can feel comfortable talking about their frustrations and their fears as well as their dearest hopes and dreams.
Go on, spread your wings:
Throughout their children’s lives, ENFP personalities provide their kids with an almost overwhelming amount of love and support. But as children mature into adolescence, they naturally feel drawn to establish their independence. They may spend more time with their friends than with their family or experiment with views and ideas that are radically different from their parents’.
ENFPs often see their children’s choices and behaviors as a referendum on their own parenting success.
Although they love the idea of their children becoming independent, ENFPs may sometimes feel that their children are pushing them away – something that can be profoundly hurtful for these personalities. They may be free spirits, but ENFPs are also sensitive to others’ feelings and expectations, and they may struggle not to take their children’s behavior personally.
Fortunately, ENFPs’ compassion can help them understand and honor their children’s needs through every stage of development. Parents with this personality type have the wonderful ability to meet their children exactly where they are. This can help their children develop a strong sense of self and self-worth, enabling them to venture confidently out into the big, wide world, knowing that they have both themselves and their ENFP parent to depend on.
< Career Paths >
“Maybe I could…fly helicopters and be an oceanographer who writes songs and cooks?” People with the ENFP personality type (Campaigners) are known for having a wealth of ideas, interests, and hobbies – to the extent that they may struggle to fit everything that they care about into their life.
It’s no surprise, then, that choosing a career path can leave these imaginative personalities feeling overwhelmed or scattered. ENFPs want to add value to the world, build community, facilitate learning, and express their creativity through their work. Consequently, they may feel pulled in multiple directions, uncertain of how to honor both their passions and their values while still keeping their options open and pulling in a steady paycheck.
The good news? ENFPs can use their boundless curiosity and imagination to propel themselves forward in nearly any profession.
When selecting a career, ENFP personalities tend to find that their main issue isn’t a lack of options. It’s that there are just so many fascinating and worthy possibilities to explore.
What works for ENFPs:
ENFPs have a way of brightening the world around them – including their workplace. As true optimists, these personalities can usually find pleasure and gratification in nearly any job. They may even welcome the challenge of breaking through a grumpy coworker’s shell, making harried customers smile, or boosting the morale of a less-than-cheerful workplace.
That said, people with the ENFP personality type are more likely to be fulfilled by work that meets certain criteria. First, they need to believe that what they do on a daily basis aligns with their core values. Second, most ENFPs feel best in jobs that use – and build on – their talents, both learned and innate.
It can be hard for ENFPs to maintain motivation in a job that doesn’t enable them to help people or create community in some way.
These personalities may feel that something is missing if they take on a career that doesn’t allow them to use and improve their people skills. ENFPs also tend to be most motivated in careers that offer learning opportunities and room for creativity – including the opportunity to experiment with side projects that catch their interest.
This explains why many people with the ENFP personality type are drawn to careers in nonprofits, public service, counseling, education, customer or public relations, hospitality, media and entertainment, and the service industry. Jobs in social media and communications can be an excellent fit for ENFPs as well, allowing them to balance creativity with a sense of human connection. ENFPs may also gravitate toward scientific and technical fields where they can have a positive impact, such as human health and environmental science.
Letting creativity prevail:
For ENFPs, few things are as demoralizing as a job where every day is the same. Predictability and repetition can make people with this personality type feel not only bored but also a little disheartened. Although they benefit from a degree of structure and accountability, they may lose steam in work environments that rely on strict regimentation and hierarchy.
ENFPs thrive in open-ended, flexible working environments that value creativity and collaboration.
ENFP personalities crave variety, and they love to ask questions. If they’re stuck focusing all of their energy on just one topic or project for too long, they tend to lose focus. To maintain motivation and their hallmark enthusiasm, they need to feel as if they’re both exploring new ideas and pushing boundaries. Any job that expects them to keep quiet and follow protocol is effectively turning two of ENFPs’ greatest strengths into liabilities.
Fortunately, ENFPs’ irrepressible creativity is an asset in most work environments. With their vivacity and empathy, these personalities can turn each workday into an opportunity to learn something new and make the world just a little better – and they wouldn’t have it any other way.
< Workplace Habits >
Marked by inherent charisma and original imaginations, people with the ENFP personality type (Campaigners) bring a unique energy into their professional environment. They are passionate about brainstorming with their teams and tend to excel in positions of leadership due to their ability to infuse the workplace with positivity and encouragement. With their warmth and open-mindedness, ENFPs often find ways to make their workplaces more creative, inspiring, and caring – no matter where they are on the career ladder.
Whether they’re a brand-new hire or a CEO, ENFP personalities feel happiest when they have the time and freedom to explore new ideas. And if they can explore those ideas alongside other people who share their excitement – well, that’s even better. Some personality types are sticklers for workplace hierarchies, but ENFPs see all of their colleagues as their equals. Sure, they may want to impress their boss, but chances are they want to make a good impression on everyone else as well.
ENFP subordinates:
As employees, ENFPs often impress their managers with their creativity and adaptability. People with this personality type are happy to experiment with new ways of doing things and to change course when necessary. They also stand out as excellent listeners, always eager to consider others’ perspectives.
ENFPs tend to light up their workspace with their innovative way of thinking, their empathetic nature, and their optimistic perspectives.
Like any personality type, though, ENFP subordinates have their pet peeves. Chief among these is micromanagement. ENFPs care about doing a good job, and they often feel that they do their best work when they can move at their own pace and do things in their own style. Constant nitpicking from their boss can be seriously stressful for these exuberant personalities.
That said, many people with this personality type do benefit from some direct management and oversight. ENFPs are notorious for skipping ahead to a new project before they’ve completed the last one. They love exploring new endeavors, but once a project’s allure begins to fade, they may find it difficult to stay motivated. In this spirit, these personalities may find it helpful to view check-ins from their boss as accountability and encouragement – in other words, teamwork – rather than micromanagement.
ENFP colleagues:
ENFPs view the people they work with not just as coworkers but as friends. These personalities take a genuine interest in their colleagues, curious about what makes them tick.
ENFPs can be counted on to provide cheer and support whenever one of their coworkers is down or stressed.
Their ability to relax and have fun will always make these personalities popular around the watercooler. But what sets ENFPs apart is how they can transform their popularity into natural leadership, inspiring their colleagues to band together in teams and collaborate to reach their goals.
People with this personality type are always on the search for win-win solutions to any problem. They don’t want to succeed at others’ expense, and they rarely put down a colleague to make themselves look good. Instead, they give credit where it’s due and lavish praise on anyone who does a good job. Group brainstorms are their forte. ENFPs listen to other people’s viewpoints and suggestions not just with tolerance but also genuine excitement.
ENFP managers:
ENFP managers don’t talk down to the people who work for them. In fact, managers with this personality type behave much like they did before they were in charge: They establish real connections with their employees, and they inspire by example rather than shouting orders from behind their desks.
However, not everyone shares this perspective on leadership. In the absence of clear orders, some employees may feel that they are being expected to read their ENFP manager’s mind. Some teams may need strict deadlines and timetables in order to succeed in their projects.
ENFPs prefer to focus on the big picture, letting their employees use their own judgment when it comes to handling details.
For ENFP personalities, it can be especially difficult to reprimand or fire employees – even those who deserve it. Unless they set boundaries and expectations, bosses with this personality type may end up disappointed or even taken advantage of by the people who work for them.
Fortunately, ENFPs have the sensitivity and insight to recognize when their team needs more structure or discipline in order to thrive. And while it may not be easy, they can use their communication skills and empathy to handle even the most challenging workplace situations in a way that is kind and fair.
< Conclusion >
Few personality types are as creative and charismatic as ENFPs (Campaigners). Known for their idealism and enthusiasm, ENFP personalities excel at dealing with unexpected challenges and brightening the lives of those around them.
ENFPs’ curiosity, imagination, and energy are invaluable in many areas, including their own personal growth.
Yet ENFP personalities can be tripped up in certain areas of their lives. When it comes to building relationships, choosing a career, or turning their dreams into reality, people with this personality type may need to consciously address their weaknesses and gain new skills – even as they draw on their many strengths.

< Introduction >
If anyone is to be found spontaneously breaking into song and dance, it is people with the ESFP personality type (Entertainers). They get caught up in the excitement of the moment and want everyone else to feel that way too. No other type is as generous with their time and energy when it comes to encouraging others, and no other type does it with such irresistible style.
Living with passion:
ESFP personalities are inclined toward putting on a show for others and generally appear to be very comfortable in the spotlight. However, it is not their love for being the center of attention that drives this sense of confidence but their knack for sensing what’s appropriate in certain situations. They have an uncanny ability to mirror the behaviors of those around them.
ESFPs truly enjoy the simplest things, and there’s no greater joy for them than just having fun with a good group of friends. People with this personality type would almost always choose to be with friends over spending time alone. With their unique and earthy wit, they love soaking up attention and making every get-together feel a bit like a party.
It’s not just talk either – ESFPs tend to have the strongest aesthetic sense of any personality type. From grooming and outfits to a well-appointed home, they have an eye for fashion. Knowing what’s attractive the moment they see it, they aren’t afraid to change their surroundings to reflect their personal style. This type is naturally curious, exploring new designs and styles with ease.
Though it may not always seem like it, these personalities know that it’s not all about them – they are observant and very sensitive to others’ emotions. Often the first to help someone talk out a challenging problem, ESFPs happily provide emotional support and practical advice. However, if the problem is about them, they are more likely to avoid a conflict altogether than to address it head-on. This personality type usually loves a little drama and passion, but not so much when they are the focus of the criticisms it can bring.
A spontaneous spirit:
The biggest challenge they face is that they are often so focused on immediate pleasures that they neglect the duties and responsibilities that make those luxuries possible. Complex analyses, repetitive tasks, and matching statistics to real consequences are not easy activities for people with the ESFP personality type. They’d rather rely on spontaneous opportunities or simply ask for help from their extensive circle of friends. It is important for ESFPs to challenge themselves to keep track of long-term things like their retirement plans or sugar intake – there won’t always be someone else around who can help to keep an eye on these things.
ESFPs recognize value and quality, which on its own is a fine trait. In combination with their tendency to be poor planners, though, this can cause them to live beyond their means, and credit cards are especially dangerous. More focused on leaping at opportunities than in planning out long-term goals, they may find that their inattentiveness has made some activities unaffordable.
There’s nothing that makes ESFPs feel quite as unhappy as realizing that they are boxed in by circumstance, unable to join their friends.
ESFPs are welcome wherever there’s a need for laughter, playfulness, and a volunteer to try something new and fun – and there’s no greater joy for these personalities than to bring everyone else along for the ride. They can chat for hours, sometimes about anything but the topic they meant to talk about, and they share their loved ones’ emotions through good times and bad. If they can just remember to keep their ducks in a row, they’ll always be ready to dive into all the new and exciting things that the world has to offer, friends in tow.
< Strengths and Weaknesses >
Strengths:
Bold – People with the ESFP personality type (Entertainers) aren’t known for holding back. Wanting to experience everything there is to experience, they don’t mind stepping out of their comfort zones when no one else is willing.
Original – Traditions and expectations are secondary to this personality type, if a consideration at all. ESFPs love to experiment with new styles and constantly find new ways to stand out in the crowd. Not stopping at mere outfits, they inject stylistic creativity into their words and actions too. Every day is a performance, and they love to put on a show.
Positive and Enthusiastic – ESFPs are known for their zest for life and infectious enthusiasm. They naturally exude the kind of positivity that lights up a room and draws people to them, and this often translates into an engaging charisma that can inspire those around them. They tend to approach life and its multitude of experiences with an open mind, ready to immerse themselves in the new, the delightful, and the unexpected.
Hands-on and Observant – To ESFPs, the world is meant to be felt and experienced. They prefer to see and do than to wax philosophical about “what-ifs.” With all this focus on the here and now, on doing and acting, it makes sense that ESFP personalities are naturals when it comes to noticing real, tangible things and changes.
Excellent People Skills – More so than things, though, ESFPs love to pay attention to people. They are talkative, witty, and almost never run out of things to discuss. For these personalities, happiness and satisfaction stem from the time they spend with the people they enjoy being with.
Weaknesses:
Sensitive – ESFPs are strongly emotional and often vulnerable to criticism – they can feel like they’ve been backed into a corner, sometimes reacting badly. This is probably their greatest weakness, because it makes it so hard to address any other weaknesses brought to light.
Conflict-Averse – ESFP personalities sometimes ignore and avoid conflict entirely. They tend to say and do what’s needed to get out of such situations, then move on to something more fun.
Easily Bored – Without constant excitement, people with this personality type often find ways to create it themselves. Risky behavior, self-indulgence, and the pleasures of the moment over long-term plans are all things that ESFPs get into a little too often.
Poor Long-Term Planners – ESFP personalities rarely make detailed plans for the future. To them, things come as they come, and too often they don’t bother with taking the time to lay out steps and consequences, believing that they could change at any moment.
Unfocused – Anything that requires long-term dedication and focus is a particular challenge for people with the ESFP personality type. In academics, dense, unchanging subjects are much more difficult than more dynamic, relatable subjects. The trick for them is to find day-to-day joy in broader goals and to tough it out with those tedious things that must be done.
< Romantic Relationships >
People with the ESFP personality type (Entertainers) are social, fun-loving, free-spirited individuals who live life in the moment and squeeze every little bit of excitement from everything. Naturally, they don’t spare any of this freshness and energy when dating. For ESFP personalities, relationships aren’t about slowly building foundations for the future or planning out a life – they are bubbling, unpredictable things to be enjoyed for as long as there’s enjoyment to be had.
The spark of love:
Interestingly, ESFPs tend to regard falling in love as the best part of a relationship. They revel most in the stages that involve intense emotions, passion, discovery, and excitement. As a result, they might strive to keep these sparks lit longer than normal by investing more in the flavorful aspects of their relationship.
Because of this investment in liveliness and joy, relationships with ESFPs are simply unforgettable. People with this personality type always have some new and exciting activity up their sleeve, and they genuinely enjoy spending each moment with their partner. ESFPs enjoy physical intimacy immensely, and they prove themselves affectionate, inquisitive, and open-minded, loving to share with willing and reciprocative partners.
Conversation with ESFPs is similar, focusing on fun, sometimes quirky subjects rather than deep, soul-searching expressions. The past and the future, the sciences and politics, and long-term plans and commitments are all less likely to grip ESFP personalities than brighter, more tangible things. They slow things down and add too much weight to their freewheeling style.
People with the ESFP personality type happily chat about just about anything or anyone that comes to mind, but won’t have a topic forced.
The rise of conflict:
Emotionally oriented and sensitive, people with the ESFP personality type often respond poorly to outside “suggestions” on how to manage their love lives. They respond even worse if criticisms come from their partner, and trying to take emotions out of the picture by telling them to “not take this personally” isn’t helpful either. Slowing down and handling these situations better is a growth area for ESFPs.
On the other hand, the issue can be a lack of any criticism at all. ESFP personalities value social input a lot and are almost as affected by their friends’ opinions of their dating partner as their own. Since they are attracted to people who share their attitudes, this can leave them in an echo chamber that only tells them what they want to hear, reinforcing counterproductive behaviors and attitudes.
A joyful heart:
All of these tendencies can present a challenge for people with this personality type later on. ESFPs’ tendency to avoid promises and commitments sabotages important long-term goals. Building real relationships takes time and conscious effort.
But ESFPs are incredibly likable people who enjoy life’s small pleasures. Enthusiastic and affectionate, with a pure and down-to-earth love that just takes things at face value, ESFPs ultimately take the time to find someone who they truly enjoy being with every day rather than settling too soon for stability over happiness.
< Friendships >
People with the ESFP personality type (Entertainers) are known for their irrepressibly social and excited attitudes. They don’t internalize much of anything, sharing it all with their extensive circles of friends with wit, style, enthusiasm, and optimism. They are explorers of the pleasures of life, and they take particular pleasure in sharing those experiences with others. For ESFPs, there’s no point in living if you can’t feel alive.
Making life interesting:
ESFPs are people of action. Getting out with activities that engage the senses is this personality type’s idea of a good time. Sometimes, though, they may go too far with risky or careless behaviors and try to bring others along for the ride. They are sensitive, and rejection of these pastimes can be taken personally, leading to conflict or drama. They don’t have time to be lectured.
Making new friends isn’t a problem for these types. ESFPs use an alluring combination of blunt truths, disarming openness, and charm to keep things moving. Where ESFP personalities falter is in keeping up with the friends they already have. In their excitement and focus on the here and now over history, they might too easily pursue the next adventure that a new person has to offer, regretting that their older friend seems to have changed and become less fun.
Thrill seekers with gentle souls:
As they grow and mature, ESFPs come to respect different personality types and approaches more and more.
This can all give the impression that ESFPs are shallow, pleasure-centric creatures who care little for anyone but themselves – but this is a terrible misunderstanding, and far from the truth! They care sincerely about their friends. It’s why they put so much effort into coming up with group experiences that they believe everyone will enjoy, and they are deeply distressed by the occasional conflicts that hurt these relationships.
For all their effort to bring new people in, ESFPs extend an incredible sense of loyalty to their existing friends. They are great listeners and are often attuned to shifts in mood or behavior, making them adept at offering comfort during difficult times. People with this personality type find great satisfaction in helping their friends, and their support often goes beyond mere words.
< Parenthood >
People with the ESFP personality type (Entertainers) are some of the most relaxed, fun-loving parents out there. From the first moment they hold their babies, they are taken with the joy and wonder that their children experience in everything around them. Playing with children is a genuine pleasure for ESFPs, and they are constantly devising new and exciting ways to keep their children happy, excited, and engaged.
Wild and free:
Exploration and experiences are key philosophies for ESFP parents – when their children ask questions, the answer is, “Let’s find out!” Overbearing structures and tightly scheduled activities aren’t a big part of this personality type’s parenting. They’d much rather take things day by day and break up the crust by letting their children explore something new in their own way, something much appreciated by their children.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that there aren’t any rules – they were young once too! Discipline is far from their strongest suit, but hindsight and maturity have their effects. ESFPs are often keen to prevent their children from suffering the same hurts and setbacks that they themselves experienced. If that means these parents have to crack down from time to time, they will lovingly lay down the law with their kids.
People with the ESFP personality type generally don’t care for consistently respectful consideration of the rules – a point of disharmony when their children need predictability.
One of the greatest strengths of ESFP parents is that they provide plenty of emotional support. While not especially demanding parents, warm affection, practicality, and adaptability give people with the ESFP personality type a very nurturing and encouraging parenting style.
When their children declare themselves future astronauts, ESFPs happily build make-believe spaceships and later use those declarations to help their children focus on their schoolwork and goals. And when the dream switches to archaeology, these parents are right there beside them, chisel in hand – knowing that it all leads to the same wondrous path of discovery.
< Career Paths >
People with the ESFP personality type (Entertainers) have a unique quality that makes them exceptional in some careers and miserable in others – they mirror the mood around them. When they are at a party or concert, they reflect that mood, giving them that “party people” image. When their friends are sad, they mirror that with sympathy and empathy. And when there is a crisis, ESFPs adapt as well, matching the intensity of the situation.
As a result, just about any career that focuses on working with others is a good fit for ESFP personalities to be happy and productive. Moreover, their natural charm and vivacity help them create impressions that last and form alliances that may prove beneficial in the long run. The old adage, “It’s not what you know, but who you know,” resonates deeply with them.
Seeking new challenges:
As natural-born networkers, ESFPs flourish in roles that allow them to socialize and foster connections. These personalities are great event planners, sales representatives, trip planners, and tour guides, as each of these careers creates a sense of excitement, stimulation, and novelty between them and their customers.
They genuinely enjoy spending time with others and have a knack for making people happy in even the most frustrating situations. A good challenge is always appreciated by ESFP personalities, and they make wonderful and inspiring counselors, social workers, personal coaches, and consultants who improve employee or customer satisfaction.
With their ability to respond with resourcefulness and passion when their help is badly needed, ESFPs make brilliant medical professionals, especially as EMTs, paramedics, and nurses. They quickly pick up information about others, helping them get straight to the heart of the issue when dealing with the sick or injured. They thrive on intense emotion, and there’s hardly a better place for it.
Not everybody has the energy for that, though, or wants the responsibility of life and death – some ESFPs prefer to make others happy and excited by creating beauty instead. People with this personality type have plenty of creative energy, and many of them build fulfilling careers in music, fashion, photography, and interior design. ESFPs are renowned for their sense of style.
A touch of chaos:
However, jobs that eliminate human contact and focus on impartial, data-driven decisions can be torturous. Some do well enough by blowing off steam with friends after work, but for the most part, careers that are harsh or power-driven are poor fits. Add ESFP personalities’ discomfort with schedules, structures, and repetition, and repetitive, uncreative work is also often quickly sent to the “nope” bin.
Regardless of where their diverse passions lie, ESFPs need freedom, novelty, and, above all, human contact. People with this personality type need to know that they aren’t just appreciated (though that is very important) but liked. When ESFPs come into work, they want to see a touch of chaos and to be able to navigate it with a team of capable friends who are all too happy to take action by their side.
< Workplace Habits >
The cubicle life rarely suits these outgoing individuals. People with the ESFP personality type (Entertainers) prefer more dynamic, social spaces where they can easily strike up conversations and exchange ideas. There’s hardly a better type to have around in an energetic, hectic work environment. The more freedom that they have to do what they’ve got to do, the better the results – so long as they know what the goal is.
That said, regardless of what position they find themselves in at work, ESFPs share a desire to make the environment as friendly and enjoyable as possible. To do so, these personalities tend to maintain a social and relaxed attitude, and they use it to get everyone else on board with practical tasks that need to be done.
ESFP subordinates:
As subordinates, ESFPs thrive on change and new ideas, and they chafe under repetitive and strictly defined tasks. These personalities’ managers find willing and able experimenters who can brainstorm, quickly grasp new methods, and actually put those methods to practical use – so long as they have a little leeway to apply their own creative style. Changes may take a few tries though, as they can be forgetful in the heat of the moment and can get more caught up in trying to get quick returns.
ESFPs give honest feedback on whether things make sense, but they can sometimes be quite sensitive to others’ criticism of their own habits. Under fire, people with this personality type can become defensive and easily upset. But in the end, if they believe that the criticism comes from an honest intent to help, not hurt, they take it to heart. The biggest struggle for ESFP subordinates is that they value freedom far more than safety and security – if their conditions aren’t met, they won’t shy away from finding a new opportunity.
ESFP colleagues:
If anyone can make friends with their colleagues and keep tension at bay within their team, it’s ESFPs. A fun atmosphere is important, and people with this personality type use their strong observational and social skills to bring everyone together, shifting a souring mood if need be.
They rarely struggle to come up with ideas on how to make this happen, happily organizing events and activities inside and outside the workplace. ESFPs’ spontaneity, wit, and enthusiasm have no equal. This is important because, for these engaged personalities, a sense of fun and camaraderie go hand-in-hand with good, hard work.
ESFP managers:
As managers, ESFPs do everything they can to pump energy and fun into the day-to-day work that needs to be done. These personalities enjoy being the center of attention, and even more so they like to feel like they’re needed and appreciated. Jumping into the thick of the work and applying themselves to anything they’d ask their subordinates to do is something ESFPs consider part of the job. Authority and social status are secondary to feeling like they’re an important part of a team that gets the job done.
ESFPs are great at noticing others’ moods, and there are few personality types better at preventing conflict and encouraging relaxed, enjoyable workplaces. Subordinates are always welcome to speak their minds, and ESFPs are always happy to hear others out, especially if something is upsetting them. Their ability to relate to others and think on their feet makes them resourceful and inspiring leaders.
< Conclusion >
Few personality types are as charming and attractive as ESFPs (Entertainers). Known for their ability to improvise and focus completely on the present, they are great at finding exciting new things to explore and experience. Their energy, enthusiasm and down-to-earth attitude are invaluable in many areas, including their own personal growth.
Yet ESFPs can be easily tripped up in situations where their focus on practical matters is more of a liability than an asset. Whether it is finding (or keeping) a partner, reaching dazzling heights on the career ladder, or learning to plan ahead, ESFPs need to put in a conscious effort to develop their weaker traits and additional skills.

< Introduction >
In their unassuming, understated way, people with the ISFJ personality type (Defenders) help make the world go round. Hardworking and devoted, these personalities feel a deep sense of responsibility to those around them. ISFJs can be counted on to meet deadlines, remember birthdays and special occasions, uphold traditions, and shower their loved ones with gestures of care and support. But they rarely demand recognition for all that they do, preferring instead to operate behind the scenes.
This is a capable, can-do personality type with a wealth of versatile gifts. Though sensitive and caring, ISFJs also have excellent analytical abilities and an eye for detail. And despite their reserve, they tend to have well-developed people skills and robust social relationships. These personalities are truly more than the sum of their parts, and their varied strengths shine in even the most ordinary aspects of their daily lives.
ISFJs are true altruists, meeting kindness with kindness-in-excess and engaging with the work and people they believe in with enthusiasm and generosity.
The gift of loyalty:
One of the greatest ISFJ strengths is loyalty. They rarely allow a friendship or relationship to fade away from lack of effort. Instead, they invest a great deal of energy into maintaining strong connections with their loved ones – and not just by sending “How are you doing?” texts. People with this personality type are known for dropping everything and lending a hand whenever a friend or family member is going through a hard time.
ISFJ personalities tend to feel most energized and effective when they’re showing up for someone who needs their help. And their sense of loyalty doesn’t stop with their nearest and dearest – it often extends to their communities, their employers, and even family traditions. But the intensity of their commitment and desire to serve can have its downsides.
Other people may take advantage of ISFJs’ helpful, hardworking nature, leaving them feeling burned out and overworked. And these personalities may feel guilty or stressed when they contemplate saying no or making changes – even necessary changes – to themselves, their relationships, or the way that they’ve done things in the past.
A notable ISFJ weakness is that they often find change difficult – particularly when it’s sudden or involves unfamiliar territory. In fact, they are the most likely personality type to feel stressed out by last minute changes.
The highest of standards:
For ISFJs, “good enough” is rarely good enough. People with this personality type can be meticulous to the point of perfectionism. They take their responsibilities seriously, consistently going above and beyond and doing everything that they can to exceed others’ expectations.
Despite their hard work and consistency, ISFJ personalities are still known for their humility. They rarely seek the spotlight for the things they do. But that doesn’t mean that they are okay with being unnoticed or unappreciated.
While ISFJs tend to underplay their accomplishments, that doesn’t mean that they don’t enjoy recognition – or that they’re fine with being taken for granted. Unless they learn to stand up for themselves, people with this personality type may find themselves quietly losing their enthusiasm and motivation, eventually becoming resentful toward those who just don’t seem to appreciate them.
Showing up for others - and themselves:
Although they’re Introverted, ISFJ personalities have a deeply social nature. Thanks to their ability to remember the details of other people’s lives, they have a special talent for making their friends and acquaintances feel seen, known, and cherished. Few personality types can match their ability to choose just the right gift for any occasion, whether large or small.
Dedicated and thoughtful, ISFJs find great joy in helping those around them build stable, secure, and happy lives. It may not be easy for people with this personality type to show up for themselves in the way that they show up for others, but when they do, they often find themselves with even more energy and motivation to do good in the world.
< Strengths and Weaknessess >
Strengths:
Supportive – People with the ISFJ personality type (Defenders) truly enjoy helping others, and they happily share their knowledge, attention, and expertise with anyone who needs it. ISFJs strive for win-win situations, choosing teamwork over competition whenever possible.
Reliable – Rather than working in sporadic, excited bursts that leave things half finished, ISFJ personalities are meticulous and careful. They take a steady approach, ensuring that things are done to the highest standard – often going well beyond what is required. Further, most ISFJs agree that sustaining discipline and reliability becomes easier with time.
Observant – ISFJ personalities have a talent for noticing things, particularly about other people. They pay attention to the smallest details of what someone says and does, giving them unexpected insights into other people’s lives and emotions.
Enthusiastic – When the goal is right, ISFJs apply all of their gifts to something that they believe will make a real, positive difference in people’s lives – whether that’s fighting poverty with a global initiative or simply making a customer’s day at work.
Hardworking – ISFJs don’t just get their work done – they take pride in going above and beyond all of their tasks and responsibilities. People with this personality type often form an emotional attachment to the projects and organizations that they’ve dedicated themselves to, and they won’t rest until they’ve done their share – or more than their share – to be of help.
Good Practical Skills – The ISFJ personality type offers the rare combination of an altruistic nature and hard-won practicality. They don’t just hope to help others. They take action – meaning that they’re more than happy to roll up their sleeves and do what’s necessary to care for their friends, family, and anyone else who needs it.
Weaknesses:
Overly Humble – ISFJs are so concerned with other people’s feelings that they may refuse to make their thoughts known or to take any duly earned credit for their contributions. They often downplay their efforts entirely when they think that they could have done some minor aspect of a task better.
Taking Things Personally – Although they might try to hide it, people with this personality type are deeply sensitive to others’ opinions, and they can be thrown off-balance if someone doesn’t appreciate, approve of, or agree with them. When they encounter criticism or disagreement – even if it’s well-intentioned – ISFJs may feel as if they’re experiencing a personal attack.
Repressing Their Feelings – Private and reserved, ISFJ personalities tend to internalize their feelings, particularly negative ones. This can create misunderstandings in their relationships. Eventually, all of their repressed feelings and resentments may boil over in a sudden, uncharacteristic outburst of frustration.
Reluctant to Change – ISFJs are among the personality types that struggle the most with change. Breaking with tradition isn’t easy for these steady personalities, who place great value on history and precedent. Even when change is necessary, they may wait until the situation reaches a breaking point before altering course.
Too Altruistic – ISFJs’ giving, generous nature can leave them vulnerable to being taken advantage of by others. It can be hard for them to rock the boat and stand up to someone who isn’t pulling their own weight. In fact, ISFJs are the most likely personality type to say they would rather clean up someone else’s mess than confront them about it directly.
< Romantic Relationships >
Romantic relationships bring out a side of people with the ISFJ personality type (Defenders) that may not be obvious at first glance. Beneath their patient and demure exteriors, ISFJs thrum with passionate commitment and loyalty toward the people they love. At times, even these personalities themselves may be surprised by the intensity of their feelings – especially their fierce desire to protect and care for their partner.
ISFJs’ emotions run deep – so deep that people with this personality type may struggle to find the words to express just how much their partner means to them. But they show their affection in a million little ways on a daily basis. Always eager to make their loved ones’ lives better and more convenient, ISFJs can transform even the most ordinary tasks – from cooking dinner to organizing a weekend trip – into a heartfelt gesture of love.
ISFJ personalities usually express their love and affection not through grandiose declarations but rather through consistent, everyday gestures that demonstrate thoughtfulness and care.
An ISFJ in love:
Although generally a proactive, can-do personality type, many ISFJs struggle to take the initiative when it comes to dating. Asking someone out can be incredibly uncomfortable for these personalities, who tend to worry about not only rejection but also violating unspoken social rules. The bad news is that ISFJs can end up feeling stuck, wanting to embark on a relationship but waiting for another person to make the first move.
ISFJ personalities approach dating and romance with an enormous level of dedication and loyalty. They value deep, enduring connections and are often seeking long-term commitment rather than short-lived adventures.
When they do find themselves in a relationship, ISFJs are – in a word – committed. People with this personality type find great fulfillment in sharing their time, energy, and affection with another person, and as partners, they tend to be incredibly giving and supportive.
They don’t take their relationships lightly, and they don’t give up easily – even when challenges inevitably arise. ISFJ personalities tend to have a realistic appreciation for the amount of effort that a healthy long-term relationship requires, and they’re more than willing to put in the work necessary to build a lasting bond with a person they cherish.
Soundness of the heart:
ISFJs’ pragmatic approach to life can sometimes shield the incredibly strong feelings that lie within their heart. It’s no surprise, then, that it can take these personalities a relatively long time to recover from the heartache of a breakup – or even a particularly painful disagreement. ISFJs give so much of themselves in their relationships that they can feel deeply hurt when they believe that someone isn’t offering them enough love, commitment, respect, and appreciation in return.
Unfortunately, ISFJs may find it difficult to break off a relationship – even when things just aren’t working out. People with this personality type may hang on due to misplaced loyalty, a general fear of change, or the hope that they can somehow figure out how to change any problems for the better.
It would be a mistake, however, to think of ISFJs as pushovers in their relationships. Although these personalities generally try to avoid conflict, they have clear and firm opinions and preferences on all kinds of subjects. And when they feel as if their partner isn’t respecting their wishes, all of their repressed frustration and disappointment may eventually boil over in the form of negativity, resentment, or heels-dug-in stubbornness.
ISFJs fully devote themselves to their partner, but they may feel unfulfilled unless they remember to also honor their own hopes and dreams.
In their heart of hearts, however, what ISFJ personalities want most is to ensure their partner’s happiness and wellbeing. As long as they balance this desire with a healthy amount of attention to their own needs and aspirations, ISFJs can enjoy exactly the sort of enduring, impassioned relationships that they’ve always dreamed about.
< Friendships >
Given how warm, supportive, and generous people with the ISFJ personality type (Defenders) are, it’s not surprising that others gravitate toward them as friends. But while they value and even cherish their friendships, they don’t find it easy to bond with just anyone.
ISFJs tend to be private and a bit protective of themselves. As a result, it can take them a while to open up to someone new. This explains why most ISFJ friendships don’t start as random encounters on a wild night out but rather through comfortable and consistent contact – for example, at school or at work. ISFJ personalities appreciate the opportunity to deepen their connection with another person over time, gradually sharing more and more of themselves.
Getting along:
Deep down, most ISFJs long to be liked and accepted. This is a natural desire, and it helps explain why people with this personality type are known for being such thoughtful, reliable friends. ISFJ personalities care about what others think of them, so they strive to bring their best selves to all of their relationships, including their friendships.
ISFJs navigate friendships with a unique blend of warmth, support, and consistency. Their natural ability to connect on a personal level and truly understand others allows them to build strong, long-lasting bonds.
This trait tends to make ISFJs exceptional friends. If taken too far, however, it can lead them to fall into the trap of people-pleasing. Some personality types have no trouble expressing an unpopular opinion or posing an awkward question – but not ISFJs. These personalities are reluctant to rock the boat, whether that means asking a friend to pay back a loan or disagreeing with where everyone else wants to go for dinner.
In most cases, this behavior stems from a fear of being rejected. While most ISFJs are perfectly comfortable having a small, tight-knit circle of friends, they hate the idea of risking the disapproval of even one of those friends. The problem is that, over time, people-pleasing can cause these personalities to lose touch with their sense of self and their ability to make decisions on their own terms.
Seeking balance:
Few personality types can match ISFJs’ fervent desire to be there for their friends through thick and thin. Always ready to offer advice, help, and reassurance, these personalities take pride in the fact that people turn to them in times of need. In fact, ISFJs will even ignore their natural tendency to avoid confrontation for their closest friends, jumping to their defense when anyone calls their character into question or puts them in harm’s way. Showing up for their loved ones in any way that they can truly offers people with this personality type a sense of purpose in life.
ISFJ personalities appreciate their friends deeply, and they aren’t afraid to show it – but it may be difficult for them to ask for that same appreciation in return.
In return, ISFJs crave loyalty and respect – and, in an ideal world, a bit of recognition for all that they do. But even though many of these personalities crave validation and support from their friends, they tend to be too proud to ask for it, just as they may not be comfortable asking for the help that they need. Fortunately, with time, many ISFJs learn that anyone who takes advantage of their generous, altruistic nature isn’t a true friend.
An inspired bond:
People with the ISFJ personality type can become attached to their vision of how things “should” be. In the world of friendship, they may believe – consciously or not – that they should be completely selfless. But when they ease up on this expectation, balancing their friends’ needs with their own, they can bring the full magnitude of their gifts to their friendships. This helps ISFJs enjoy the sort of meaningful, enduring bonds that make life all the more worthwhile.
< Parenthood >
People with the ISFJ personality type (Defenders) make devoted and responsible parents who see parenthood as not just a role but a calling. ISFJs bring their innate sense of dedication, reliability, and consistency into their parenting style, aiming to provide a stable foundation to help their children grow up to be capable, successful, and happy.
But when it comes to parenthood, ISFJs aren’t just motivated by a sense of duty – they are also motivated by love, and the depth and power of this love can be nothing short of amazing. Many ISFJ personalities feel that parenting allows them to use their gifts of altruism, generosity, and patience as they work hard to guide a beautiful new soul into the world.
The road to independence:
Given that ISFJs value tradition and guidance, it’s no surprise that many of these personalities embrace clearly defined roles for parents and children. Rather than seeing themselves as their children’s peer or best friend, these parents view their role, and often rightly so, as that of a loving authority figure – someone who imparts wisdom and values, gently but firmly teaching their children the difference between right and wrong.
ISFJ parents dedicate themselves to ensuring that their children understand the importance of taking responsibility and doing the right thing.
It can be challenging for ISFJ parents when their children, in an effort to assert their independence, push back on this well-intended guidance and support. As part of their development, most children reach a point where they want to test boundaries, experiment with new ways of doing things, and make their own choices – and that sometimes involves going against their parents’ advice and values.
This may not be difficult for these personalities to manage in the early years, but it can become more of a struggle once their children reach adolescence and young adulthood – when the decision-making stakes become much higher. ISFJs value stability, and they want to make sure that their children are setting themselves up for the “right” kind of future – one that includes security as well as happiness. If they worry that their children aren’t putting themselves on track for this kind of future, ISFJ parents can become deeply unsettled or even somewhat controlling.
An abundance of love:
Fortunately, ISFJ personalities aren’t known for losing track of just how much they love their children. It’s true that parents with this personality type may sometimes be heavy-handed in their efforts to steer their children in what they perceive to be a good direction. But even if their children end up going a different way, that doesn’t mean that ISFJs will stop loving them or trying to help them find their path to happiness.
Even when struggling, ISFJ parents always accept their children as they are, providing a strong emotional foundation that their children can rely on.
The truth is that parenting is far from easy for any personality type – not if they’re doing it right. That said, ISFJs have the advantage of being not just caring but also thoughtful and responsible in how they administer that care. Often seen as ideal parents, people with this personality type are able to offer their children stability, security, and – most importantly – an abundance of love and support.
< Career Paths >
People with the ISFJ personality type (Defenders) approach their career paths with the same commitment, diligence, and patience that they display in other aspects of their lives. Because of this, they are often seen as the backbone of their workplace. ISFJs are generally very reliable, hardworking, and always ready to lend a hand to those who need it. They take pride in getting the job done and getting it done well, rarely cutting corners or trying to avoid a time-consuming task. This unshakable work ethic, combined with a genuine desire to be of service to others, makes ISFJ personalities invaluable in a range of careers.
Shining behind the scenes:
Few personality types can match ISFJs’ deep appreciation of what it means to play a supporting role. Rather than seeking out the spotlight for themselves, they genuinely enjoy helping and uplifting others. It’s no surprise, then, that ISFJ personalities tend to seek out workplaces that are collaborative and team oriented rather than competitive and high pressure.
With their natural humility, these personalities tend to feel especially fulfilled by careers that allow them to facilitate others’ growth, healing, and progress. ISFJs’ patience and ability to stay present in the moment enable them to be incredibly attuned to the needs of the people they are serving. Teaching is a prime example of a career that takes advantage of these important ISFJ strengths, as are speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, medicine, and social work.
People with the ISFJ personality type are motivated, consistent workers, rarely losing sight of the ways in which their daily tasks can benefit others.
No matter what it says on their business card, many people with this personality type approach their work with an eye toward helping others in practical ways. ISFJs tend to excel at customer service, with a particular gift for listening to concerns, calming frustrations, and seeing things through to a clear resolution. The people skills that ISFJs call upon can also translate well into roles in human resources, IT support, hospitality, retail, office administration, library sciences, and pretty much any job that involves fielding and helping answer people’s questions.
Never missing a beat:
Some personality types lose steam in the face of a tedious, multifaceted task, but not ISFJs. Their attentiveness to detail is among their greatest strengths. Consequently, detail-oriented fields like law, accounting, data analysis, and research can be right up ISFJs’ alley. What’s especially notable, however, is how they stay connected to the human dimension of this work, rarely forgetting the impact that their spreadsheets and memos might have on real people.
Despite their many gifts, these personalities are unlikely to demand recognition or ask for promotions, preferring to let their work speak for itself. Given their respect for tradition and security, ISFJs generally have no problem with the idea of moving along in a structured hierarchy, trusting that their bosses will promote them if and when the time is right. But even the most patient person can become frustrated if their contributions seem to be continually overlooked. When ISFJ personalities finally do take the leap into management roles, they often find that their strengths are extremely well suited to building a cohesive, productive, and effective team.
Meticulous and socially oriented, ISFJs have a talent for remembering things about other people – a talent that can help them connect with a customer, bolster a faltering business relationship, or simply brighten a colleague’s day.
People with the ISFJ personality type may find it hard to part ways with employers due to their innate loyalty, even if things just aren’t working out. But as long as they put themselves in a work environment that appreciates and takes full advantage of their many strengths and talents, ISFJs can use their determination, precision, and altruistic energy to do even more good in this world.
< Workplace Habits >
Wherever they may be on the career ladder, people with the ISFJ personality type (Defenders) share the goal of putting good service and dedication above all else. ISFJ personalities can always be relied on for their kindness and ability to listen carefully to concerns – and to find ways to resolve them. Win-win situations are their bread and butter, and no other personality type can quite match the satisfaction that they take in finding practical, clear resolutions to day-to-day challenges.
ISFJ subordinates:
As employees, ISFJs exemplify the strength of humble dedication. Relied on and respected for their patience and commitment, people with this personality type really only need one reward for their work: the satisfaction of knowing that they’ve helped someone. And if that person expresses a bit of gratitude, so much the better.
At times, though, ISFJs’ radical humility can hold them back. They tend to be unwilling to play up their achievements, often for fear of creating unnecessary friction or appearing to be a braggart. Unfortunately, this can make it all too easy for their bosses to overlook them when opportunities for promotion come along.
ISFJs’ humility is a strength, but people with this personality type may struggle to get new opportunities unless they learn to take at least some credit for all the work that they do.
ISFJs’ loyalty and dependability often makes them invaluable to their bosses. In fact, they are the most likely personality type to report getting along with their boss. This might be in part because, in general, these personalities can be trusted to carry out their tasks precisely and without complaint. But it is also because they are such thoughtful and warm individuals who are willing to put in the effort to get to know people.
That being said, ISFJ personalities’ aversion to rocking the boat may make it difficult for them to correct or disagree with their bosses or coworkers, even when it’s necessary to do so in order to avoid wasted time and energy. Fortunately, with time, many ISFJs learn to express their opinions (and corrections) in a gentle, nonjudgmental way.
ISFJ colleagues:
For an ISFJ, an ideal work environment is founded on working together with colleagues rather than competing against them, with everyone collaborating toward the shared goal of getting the job done. Close-knit and supportive teams are what ISFJ personalities enjoy most, allowing them to express their altruistic spirit among people who rely on their dedication and warmth.
ISFJs build relationships with their colleagues naturally – a skill that they use to keep things running smoothly.
These strengths can become drawbacks, however, as ISFJ personalities’ aversion to conflict and their desire to help can be abused by less scrupulous colleagues. Instead of only asking for help when they need it, some colleagues may heap extra work on their desks, knowing that ISFJ colleagues have a hard time saying no. Unless they learn to set boundaries, people with this personality type can feel overburdened, stressed, and taken advantage of.
ISFJ managers:
ISFJs don’t always raise their hands for leadership opportunities. In fact, they tend to prefer taking orders over giving orders, but their interpersonal skills and work ethic actually lend themselves quite well to managing others. ISFJ managers tend to be warm and approachable, always willing to answer questions and always ready to step up and help. Having no real desire to exercise power over others, ISFJ personalities prefer to work alongside their subordinates, keeping things running smoothly and minimizing conflict.
ISFJs bring a team spirit to their work, and they aim to impart this spirit to the people they manage.
ISFJ managers care about efficiency and effectiveness, but not at the expense of maintaining a positive relationship with their subordinates. Change can be a challenge for bosses with this personality type – including the none-too-pleasant change of firing someone who isn’t working out. At times, ISFJ managers may sink a bit too much of their energy into an underperforming employee – but they’d much rather make this mistake than the mistake of giving up on someone who just needed another chance.
< Conclusion >
ISFJs’ gifts include generosity, patience, and determination – but they aren’t people who just want to hear what makes them great. These personalities are committed to actually using these gifts to become better people and be of service to others.
Woah anon. This must’ve taken a lotta hard work to copy & paste out, and I absolutely loved reading it. I’m gonna slap that in my “for later” or “favorite” tags cause im gonna read this over and over. And over and over.
It seems to fit them all pretty well with everything that’s been discussed so far. And also that last bit about ISFJs near the end—“they’d much rather make this mistake than the mistake of giving up on someone who just needed another chance”—really made me think of Color, particularly in interactions with killer. I’ll probably add on with reblogs to this sometime when I get around to re-reading it. I love this thank you 🙏
And tbh id love to hear whatever else type of psychology you have to say about any of the utmv characters if you ever wanna share.

100 Follower Celebration: Don’t Be Stupid
Santiago ‘Pope’ Garcia x F!Reader
Warnings: Aggressive and Possessive Santi, language, allusions to creepy older men, bad Spanish because I’m a no sabo
A/N: Hello angels!!! I know that this isn’t my typical bread and butter but… this is my guilty pleasure and I had soooooo much fun writing this. A couple of housekeeping measures… I am a no sabo kid. To my non Latinx friends that means that while I am Latinx, and did speak Spanish as a primary language for the first 5 years, I was moved to another part of the country and lost my ability to speak Spanish. So I’m trying to learn it again. It’s hard. For my Spanish speaking sisters and brothers, give me so grace, because I am trying. Secondly, I think I have two more 100 follower Drabbles, and then we can finish Interviews for New Beginnings and the other requests I got! Love you all so much my darlings!! Have a wonderful dayyyyy - Mo 💕

Summer nights in Florida were always far too hot. It was the price of living in paradise. The heat of the afternoon's sun baked into the pavement and stucco walls now radiated back onto your thinly covered body. The surrounding water made the air far too wet, and immediately upon going into the outside air did you feel the thin film of sweat and honeyed air cling to your face, arms and legs. Summer nights were brutal in heaven.
But you would never leave it. Not for a million dollars. And neither would your Delta Force boys.
It was on these brutal nights where you tried to beat the heat and the stickiness by going out to the dive bars in Ybor City, the smaller and rowdier younger sister of Tampa. The crowds were easy to get lost in, and the music was thumping no matter where you stood; which was just the medicine you and your friends needed on a night like this.
In the back corner of such a bar, you were squished between Frankie and Santi, trying to fit in the massive and unruly Ben and Will to this too small table. "Whats good boys!? And baby girl, looking beautiful as always." Ben laughed out with a toothy grin. He was always all too happy to be with you all. And if a night out also involved a couple drinks, he was more in paradise than usual.
You laughed mirthlessly at his flirtatious jokes. He always threw one your way whenever he got the chance. You only wished that Pope would do the same.
Though you met the rest of the boys when you joined the Delta Force, you had actually known Santi since middle school. Your mom moved you both to the apartment next to his back in the 6th grade. When the creepy older men were harassing you on the way down to the school bus, Santi stepped in. And from that day on you never walked to the bus, or rode the bus alone. He kept the creeps and bullies away. You helped him with his math homework. Perfect partners. Best friends. A perfect pair. And God how you were in love with him.
You both had had your flings and boyfriends and girlfriends. But they all came and went. You were there and he was there when it eventually went to out the window. Some times you wondered if maybe he felt the same ache in his chest as you. But you pushed it to the side. He never saw you that way. He never would. You were best friends. A sister to him. It would never be more. And it never bothered you until recently. Maybe it was because you were getting older. Maybe it was because your girlfriends were having babies and in serious and solid relationships. Yet you were still here. Drinking barely cool enough beer with the Delta Force ding bats. You loved them. You loved them more than life and would and have put your life on the line for them. But you were getting older. You wanted to be seen as a woman. Not just another teammate.
Santi smirked and ruffled your head like a child, messing up the hair you had corralled into a pony tail, "Chiqitita muñeca is pissy tonight. Heat is getting too much for her."
You rolled your eyes and pushed him away. Frankie looked up from his ever present hat, "Pissed because she is stuck next to you and you won't let her up. Querida vamos. Let's get you another drink. This white boy at the bar has been giving you eyes all night and I wanna put him out of his misery."
Benny and Will whooped and laughed and your eyes widened, "Fish stop no he's not."
Frankie stood up, stretching out his long limbs and shaking his head, "He is. C'mon you haven't been putting yourself out there and it's dumb."
Frankie was right. You hadn't. In the past 3 years you hadn't even gone on a date because you were hoping, HOPING, that Santi would maybe make a move. That he would do something. But he hadn't. And you were tired of waiting. Frankie pulled you by the hand out of the booth and out of Santi's orbit. You smoothed out your cotton sundress, turning to the rest of the boys in the booth you hold yourself out to be appraised, "Yay or nay? Do I look gross?"
Will gave a thumbs up while Beni gave theatrical worshipping bows, "Hot sexy hot sexy hot sexy. Go get em tiger."
You noticed that Pope hadn't said anything, you turned to him waiting, "Pope??"
Eyes stern and cold he didn't even look up from his beer, "Why do you need my approval?"
You stomach dropped, and your face crumpled. Frankie rolled his eyes, "Coño la madre, don't listen to Pope you know how he gets when he's PMSing. You look nice. C'mon white boy is waiting. "
White boy was indeed waiting for you. His name was Connor. Clean cut. Not a Florida native which you clocked before you even made it up there. Worked in financing in downtown. Loved the Florida lifestyle but was still getting used to it. Super polite. Cute. And wanted to get to know you and buy you drinks and call you pretty. Soon any insecurity you had about Pope was miles away.
Frankie was pleased with himself, and brought back a round of beers to the table. Will and Benny were snickering in their seats, and Santi... well... Santi was fuming.
"What the fuck was that Fish?"
Smirking, he took a sip of his drink, "Que paso? No te queires chiqitita si?"
"Cabron, tu sabes quiero ella."
Benny cut in, "Hey hey hey. Don't let the gringos out man! Pope why are you getting pissed off? Nothing happened?"
Will spoke up, "He's pissed because Frankie basically delivered Chiqi to khakis boy over there."
Benny shrugged, "And??"
Will turned to him, looking as if Benny had grown another head, "And... Pope has been in love with Chiqi this entire time?? And Frankie knows that?? Benny did you get too many punches to the head or something?"
Benny’s eyes widen. The pieces fitting together. Will rolled his eyes, but Santi couldn’t care less. He was enraged with Fish. And Fish didn’t even care!! Fish knew that Santi had been in love with you for years. That he wanted you more than anything or anyone. That he had purposefully cut in on past relationships to keep you to himself. That he had building the courage to finally ask you to be his and only his. And yes here comes Fish. Delivering you to some… to some guy at a bar?
Frankie finished his beer and looked into his best friend’s eyes, “Hermano… I love you man. But you’re being a little bitch. No in fact you’ve been a bitch. Chiqi has been free and available for three years and you’ve done nothing about it. She’s clearly head over heels for you and you have been tiptoeing around it for no reason. You’re stupid. Chiqi deserves more. And if you’re angry about it you can go fix it.”
Frankie held his arm opened, lighting the way to you. He saw you laughing, your smile bright, things that he wanted to reserve for him and him alone. The things he had said were for him. The moment he saw Khaki’s hand brush up on your thigh, he saw red. He downed the rest of the beer that Frankie had gotten for him, and pushed his way out of the booth. The whoops and laughs from his brothers faded into the buzz behind him as he made his way to you.
“So… if it’s alright with you, I’d really like to take you out to dinner. Maybe next week?”
Connor was cute you thought. Not the same breathtaking handsomeness that Santi had, but Connor looked sweet. He looked honest. He would do for a boyfriend. You smiled, about to accept and give him your number, when Santi shoves himself in between you and Connor. “Oye Chiqi. Come dance.”
Connor gets up to look at you, “Hey man she’s with me relax.”
Santi turned around, “She’s not actually she came with me.”
You pushed Santi’a shoulder, “What the hell bro? Connor I’m sorry. This is Santi, we grew up together and he’s stupid protective and drunk. Santi can you please go back with Frankie I’m talking to someone.”
Without looking away from Connor Santi answers, “mm not drunk. I’m just making clear what’s mine.”
Connor looks at you and then Santi. Before he sheepishly smiles, “It was nice meeting you. I hope you guys figure things out.”
Connor walks away and you feel the rage building inside you, as Santi triumphantly turns back to you. You shove Santi’s shoulder, barely moving him, “You’re such a fucking asshole Pope. What the fuck is wrong with you?”
“Dance with me.”
“I’m not fucking dancing with you.”
He rolls his eyes and pulls you to the dance floor despite your protests, your skin burning in shock and anger where his hand clutches your wrist. You make it to the center, him hungrily grasping at your waist. You’re pissed off but also so confused at this change in temperature. Santi won’t stop looking at you. Those dark lashes attempting to hypnotize you back into his orbit. He brings his mouth to your ear, “When’s the last time you danced with me Chiqi?”
You scoffed, but brought your arms to wrap around his neck as he tugged you closer, chest to chest, “Senior prom. After Michael Vazquez left me for Torrence Sheltzer. And I stepped on your toes all night.”
He laughed, “Michael was such an idiot.”
You stay like that. The bass coursing through your body, right in time with the pounding of your heart against Santi’s chest. He was always a good dancer. Too good of a dancer, it was almost obscene the way he had you moving against him. You don’t know how long you had been spinning, and you had to rest your head on his shoulder because of how light headed you became.
“You shouldn’t have done that Pope. He was nice.”
“He was a wimp. Wouldn’t be able to take care of you.”
“What you’re going to chase away any man who comes up to me? I’m tired of being alone.”
“You’re not alone. You have me.”
“You know what I mean.”
He pulled your face off his shoulder to make you look in his eyes, “I do know. And i know what I said. You have me. You’re mine. I’m yours.”
You feel tears in your eyes. Either from the smoke, the alcohol, or the embarrassment, “Santi stop being stupid. You’re being mean. You know I love you and you’re making fun of me.”
He presses his dry lips to the tear that escapes your eye, then puts his forehead to yours, “I’m not Chiqi. I’m not. Chiqi I’ve loved you since the 8th grade. I’ve hated every one of your little boyfriends and I’ve coveted you for years. I’m not joking.”
“Then why haven’t you said anything? Why didn’t you come get me when I was right here?”
The tears fall more now. And he keep kissing your cheeks to remove them, “Because I’m an asshole. I’m a fucking asshole who was too afraid of you saying no. Too afraid of when you left. I didn’t want to lose you. But I can’t take it anymore Chiqi. I can’t take another boyfriend. I’m selfish. I’m a selfish asshole. I want you for myself. I want you to yell at me and call me stupid as long as it means you never leave my place and you never leave my side. Cmon Chiqi…. Let me call you mine.”
You stared at him. He was telling the truth. He was being raw and real and you knew that this wasn’t some act. This was Santi in his rawest form. He wanted you. You brought your hand around to squeeze his cheeks together, “I want you to take me on a date. A real one. Not the bar or the bowling alley with the boys. I want dinner that you pay for. And flowers. And for you to wear a real shirt.”
He shakes your hand off and smiles, “Tomorrow night. I take you to The Colombia. I pick you up. With roses.”
“Do I get to order flan?”
He smiles even wider, “Only if you let me feed it to you like those stupid romance books you read.”
You shove him and he laughs and pulls you closer, “Kiss me and seal the deal Chiqitita. C’mon don’t be mad. Kiss me and tell me you’re mine.”
You couldn’t keep yourself from laughing, making him work for your kiss. You finally relent, pulling him in for the best kiss ever. The best kiss of your life. Until tomorrow’s

had the most present moment of my parenthood so far last night when i had taken a low dose delta gummy and had absolutely no pain in my legs whatsoever
i had no anxiety. i had no racing thoughts. my brain was quiet. my legs were functioning. my heart was full of unrepentant joy and laughter because i was able to engage with my toddler without the background radiation of never ending 5 to 7 out of 10 pain and the constant threat of needing to remember to do something or make a list or clean something or plan something
i was just there. having fun. singing and dancing before bedtime. my child was laughing and having fun. i was laughing and having fun. all i felt was happiness. for once, literally nothing else but happiness.
its really really unfair, painful even, to get these momentary glimpses of what my life could be like if i wasn't crippled and crazy and broken all over.

Sharon and Randy officially divorced when he was fifteen. He got a little better now that there isn’t constant screaming or the threat of a drunk or high Randy doing something stupid
Don’t get me wrong, he’s still a total mess-
Patched his relationship with Shelly

Goes non-verbal at times but it’s pretty spontaneous. Most people outside his group can’t tell if he’s actually non-verbal or just not talking to fuck with everyone
Peru drama was secretly worked out when they were twelve. Craig was hospitalized for a while when they were running tests to get a diagnosis, it was roughly a month long stay. He told Stan he’d call it even if Stan looked after Stripe until he was out. Tweek was away for the summer and he knew Stan wouldn’t let anything happen to her since he’s a massive animal lover
Gotta maintain the bitch personality

Destroyer - Blood Ties
(Masterlist)
Paris clutched his head, his nails tapping patterns against his skull. It made a thick, hollow sound in his ears. Not pleasant, but he had to keep his own motion up. He hasn’t slept all week.
“Just bring him up,” He called to the guard, “Whatever the protocol is. I don’t give a shit.”
His guards left dutifully. Paris stood up from his desk, moved to pace the floors. He was still working out of his own bedroom. He didn’t have the heart to go into the master bedroom just yet. A lesser man might’ve found this undignified, but Paris had worked out the opposite conclusion. He really didn’t give a shit, Paris. He had other things to worry about.
The deadliest weapon this side of the galaxy knocked at his door.
Paris opened the door with the same violence of action he did practically everything with. Delta flinched back from the sound. Simon stood beside him, only to be instantly dismissed. Paris pulled Delta into the room and immediately slammed the door shut.
Delta knelt down without being asked. It was for the best, really. He felt unstable. He did not want to fuck around with Paris.
Paris, luckily, seemed content just to have him there. He went back to his business without much more acknowledgment of Delta, flitting in between the bedroom, the bathroom, and the closet. The room was truly overflowing with junk. No wonder Paris was so frenetic. He clearly didn’t know where to start.
Delta played with loose strands of carpet.
Paris was standing in front of his bathroom sink, splashing water into his face. He rapped his knuckles against the porcelain, then up by his head.
“You can talk, you know!” He cried out.
Delta looked up. Paris didn’t enter; he wasn’t even sure he was speaking to him. It was only when Paris crossed the threshold again, still barely looking at him, that he decided to take the risk.
“I was sorry to hear about your father, Paris.” Delta said quietly.
Paris froze. He let out a soft sigh. “Yeah. Me too.”
It was quiet.
“Stand up,” Paris ordered him. Delta did so. He held still as Paris’s hands moved to his collar, undoing his shirt. He stripped the suit off so that it hung idly by Delta’s waist. Tugging his wrist, he spun Delta around. Delta felt his fingers tracing his spine. Paris examined the fading burn scars up and down Delta’s shoulder-blades. Apparently satisfied, he ordered Delta to redress. Paris’s gaze was intense, cold. Delta was careful to avoid meeting it.
He didn’t have a choice, though. Paris tilted his head up to force eye contact. It was a bad thing; Delta knew he was being studied. He was watching Paris watching him. But from years of training, he had no reaction. Without warning, Paris slapped him hard across the face. He reeled. As he straightened, Paris took a fistful of his hair close to his scalp and forced him up against the wall. Delta winced, exhaled, but did not speak. Paris’s gaze remained analytical; his anger seemed forced.
“Don’t be cute,” his grip tightened, “You’re mine now, by right. You are going to show me the same respect you showed my father and I expect you to behave as you’ve been taught. You won’t speak until spoken to. You’ll do as I say, when I say it. And you’ll take any punishment I give you without complaining. Do you understand?”
Delta was pressed tight against the wall. Paris’s body didn’t quite touch his, but blocked off any possible movement. His hand was still wrapped up in Delta’s hair, knuckles digging into his scalp. Whatever. Those were the same rules he’d already been following.
“Yes, sir.” He kept a level tone.
Paris slapped him with his free hand. “Try again.”
“Yes, Your Highness.” Delta choked out, pain radiating through his jaw.
“Good,” Paris pulled him forward and then down, forcing him onto his hands and knees. Delta fell roughly to the floor, trying to regain his breath, before crawling back upwards into a kneel. He brushed his own hair out of his face, lightly touching the tender skin where he’d just been slapped - twice.
Paris walked away. Delta relaxed, slightly. He wasn’t truly phased by the roughness; he’d been expecting it. It was just what people did when they wanted to show they meant business, as cursory as any other introduction. As long as he gave Paris no reason to repeat it, he should be fine. He waited eagerly to be dismissed.
But unfortunately, Paris kept talking.
“We aren’t staying here. I’ve already got a ship chartered. The war is coming to us and we need to be proactive. They’re going to train you to deploy more frequently.”
This did not bode well. Those powers were a bad thing to use, a display of force that was seldom ever necessary for the job. It was risky, but it was extremely inexpensive. Exactly Paris’s style. He went on.
“I don’t think the security measures they’ve been using for you thus far are necessary. I don’t mind you having free reign of the ship. It’s not like you can walk off it.”
Delta looked at him quizzically. He had never been outside the castle for more than a months span. Now it seemed as though he’d never return. But he’d have free reign. That much was unimaginable. Paris looked to him for a reaction. Delta’s ambivalence must’ve shown on his face, but Paris didn’t press the issue.
“That’s all. You can go now.”
Delta stood up wearily, head spinning. He walked out of the room half in a trance. Simon was waiting down the hall; the older man perked up as he saw Delta approaching. No doubt, he saw the inflammation on the left side of his face.
“All good, kiddo?” Simon asked with truly eked out enthusiasm.
But Delta was at a loss.

Ravioli Ship Week-Tender Care/Sicfic
Link is…confused, to say the least. First of all, why Ravio has decided that barricading himself in a storage area is a good idea. Second, why the omega is growling at him, canines on the display, and lips peeled back.
Sniffing the air, Link sucks in the soothing scent wafting from his friend. That, combined with the time of year gives him a suspicion.
“Ravio? I need to check on you, okay?” Link starts to move forward, but the omega’s snarl kicks up a gear. Right. He’s trapped.
The delta pulls back and starts dismantling the box barricade. Sheerow flits inside, chirping at Ravio in a tone that comes across as scolding. Why on Hyrule did Ravio decide to hole up down here?
The merchant has a few items for comfort in the space, but none that should be in a proper den. Link is currently a delta, but he has fond memories of reaching omega status and relaxing with his uncle. While those dens were cozy, they weren’t hidden in basements.
Ravio relaxes slightly when the crates are cleared, if only because it gives him a better option of escape.
Link lowers himself to the chilled floor, pressing his fingers to the stone and lowering his shoulders. “I just want to check your temperature,” he says.
The omega keeps an eye on him as he leans a little closer, growl rumbling as one hand raises. The probability of Link getting bitten at some point is too high not to consider, but he needs to be sure.
He doesn’t even need to get a hand on Ravio’s forehead to feel the heat radiating off him. Spitting curses, Link yanks his hand back.
“Ravio, we need to get you somewhere else. You need—” he cuts off because what Ravio needs is a beta or an alpha. Someone who can cool him down and balance out the biology that’s running haywire.
“Shit,” he tells the air. He can take on an alpha role, even if it’s not one he normally strives for. Ravio is his friend, and that’s close enough to pack to count. It’ll take a few hours for his body to catch up to the message and cool enough to help, though. Until then, he’s got an omega to care for.

Cancelled Missions: Gemini Saturn V
Tumblr media
-Concept Art, however this has a typo, as this is clearly the Saturn V.
"American manned lunar orbiter. In l LP late 1964 McDonnell, in addition to a Saturn IB-boosted circumlunar Gemini, McDonnell proposed a lunar-orbit version of Gemini to comprehensively scout the Apollo landing zones prior to the first Apollo missions.
Status: Design 1964. Gross mass: 11,182 kg (24,652 lb).
The lunar orbit version required an Agena stage to provide the delta-V for lunar orbit insertion and trans earth injection. The 1.52 m-diameter Agena was enclosed in an inverted conical fairing to both transmit thrust loads to the Gemini and provide thermal protection during the coast to the moon.
Alternatively, a propulsion module based on a repackaged Apollo Service Module propulsion system, as had been proposed two years earlier for a lunar-landing version of Gemini, could be used. This raised the translunar injection mass of the spacecraft to 11,182 kg, well above the capability of a Saturn IB or Titan III-C, but only a quarter that of a Saturn V. The launch vehicle was unspecified, but could only have been a Saturn V used on an early test mission. The mission profile would have involved a 68 hour flight from low earth orbit to lunar orbit, a 24 hour lunar mapping mission in a 10 nm x 80 nm lunar orbit, and a 68 hour return flight. The scientific equipment would consist of a modest camera array installed in the nose of the spacecraft. This consisted of a long focal-length telescope, to which were attached two narrow-field stereo mapping cameras, a wide field mapping camera, a panoramic camera, and two 16 mm film cameras. The film was not accessible by the astronauts, being stored in a film vault shielded against radiation in the nose of the spacecraft. The camera compartment would protrude from the stub nose of the Gemini after parachute deployment.

The manned portion was the same as the circumlunar version, a modified earth-orbit Gemini. The aft modules would be retained, but with the retrorockets removed. The retro module space would be used to install Apollo-type lunar distance communications, navigation, and test equipment. Deployable DSIF omni-directional and parabolic antennae would deploy from the aft modules to support lunar-distance communications. To handle re-entry from lunar distances, several modifications were necessary. The capsule's heat shield would be beefed up, and the Rene 41 corrugated shingles of Gemini's skin would be replaced with ablative shingles. The load of attitude control propellant for the capsule's reaction control system was substantially increased. Additional strap-down gyros and solar sensor packages would be added to provide navigation system redundancy. The ejection seats would be deleted and a Mercury-style launch escape tower added. The then-planned Rogallo wing recovery system would be used to glide to the Gemini to a runway landing on US territory after return from the moon. To handle the scientific payload, a camera compartment was added to the nose below the parachute/Rogallo wing housing. The Gemini spacecraft modified in this way had on on-orbit mass of 3955 kg as compared to the 3207 kg of the earth-orbit version.

Not a lot of people pay attention to this, but most Nanook's/Destruction's blessings in the Simulated Universe are Astronomy related!!
Let's start from the 1 star blessings (not gonna add images because the MAX is 10 images lmao):
Eternally Collapsing Object
(This blessing could be a reference to) The magnetospheric eternally collapsing object (MECO) is an alternative model for black holes initially proposed by Indian scientist Abhas Mitra in 1998 and later generalized by American researchers Darryl J. Leiter and Stanley L. Robertson. A proposed observable difference between MECOs and black holes is that a MECO can produce its own intrinsic magnetic field. An uncharged black hole cannot produce its own magnetic field, though its accretion disk can.
Instability Strip
The unqualified term instability strip usually refers to a region of the Hertzsprung–Russell diagram largely occupied by several related classes of pulsating variable stars: Delta Scuti variables, SX Phoenicis variables, and rapidly oscillating Ap stars (roAps) near the main sequence; RR Lyrae variables where it intersects the horizontal branch; and the Cepheid variables where it crosses the supergiants.
Orbital Redshift
(This blessing could be a reference to) The main causes of electromagnetic redshift in astronomy and cosmology are the relative motions of radiation sources, which give rise to the relativistic Doppler effect, and gravitational potentials, which gravitationally redshift escaping radiation. All sufficiently distant light sources show cosmological redshift corresponding to recession speeds proportional to their distances from Earth, a fact known as Hubble's law that implies the universe is expanding.
Primordial Black Hole
In cosmology, primordial black holes (PBHs) are hypothetical black holes that formed soon after the Big Bang. In the inflationary era and early radiation-dominated universe, extremely dense pockets of subatomic matter may have been tightly packed to the point of gravitational collapse, creating primordial black holes without the supernova compression typically needed to make black holes today. Because the creation of primordial black holes would pre-date the first stars, they are not limited to the narrow mass range of stellar black holes.
(I'm gonna skip the two star blessings because I don't think there's any Astronomy related ones?)
Universal Heat Death Characteristic
The heat death of the universe (also known as the Big Chill or Big Freeze) is a hypothesis on the ultimate fate of the universe, which suggests the universe will evolve to a state of no thermodynamic free energy, and will therefore be unable to sustain processes that increase entropy. Heat death does not imply any particular absolute temperature; it only requires that temperature differences or other processes may no longer be exploited to perform work. In the language of physics, this is when the universe reaches thermodynamic equilibrium.
Non-Inverse Antimatter Equation
E=mc2
The story of antimatter begins (again) with Einstein and his famous formula: E=mc2. It means that energy and mass are interchangeable - so mass can be transformed to energy (as in stars), or energy into mass. And this has huge consequences.
Resonance Interplay: Protostar
A protostar is a very young star that is still gathering mass from its parent molecular cloud. It is the earliest phase in the process of stellar evolution. For a low-mass star (i.e. that of the Sun or lower), it lasts about 500,000 years.
Resonance Interplay: Zero Age Main sequence
zero-age main sequence: a line denoting the main sequence on the H–R diagram for a system of stars that have completed their contraction from interstellar matter and are now deriving all their energy from nuclear reactions, but whose chemical composition has not yet been altered substantially by nuclear reaction.
Resonance Interplay: Substellar Belt
A substellar object, sometimes called a substar, is an astronomical object, the mass of which is smaller than the smallest mass at which hydrogen fusion can be sustained (approximately 0.08 solar masses). This definition includes brown dwarfs and former stars similar to EF Eridani B, and can also include objects of planetary mass, regardless of their formation mechanism and whether or not they are associated with a primary star.
Resonance Formation: Event Horizon
We can think of the event horizon as the black hole's surface. Inside this boundary, the velocity needed to escape the black hole exceeds the speed of light, which is as fast as anything can go. So whatever passes into the event horizon is doomed to stay inside it – even light.
Resonance Formation: Extreme Helium Flash
A helium flash is a very brief thermal runaway nuclear fusion of large quantities of helium into carbon through the triple-alpha process in the core of low-mass stars (between 0.8 solar masses (M☉) and 2.0 M☉) during their red giant phase. The Sun is predicted to experience a flash 1.2 billion years after it leaves the main sequence. A much rarer runaway helium fusion process can also occur on the surface of accreting white dwarf stars.
Resonance Formation: Cataclysmic Variable
Cataclysmic variables (CVs) are binary star systems that have a white dwarf and a normal star companion. They are typically small – the entire binary system is usually the size of the Earth-Moon system – with an orbital period of 1 to 10 hours.

A single yellow dwarf, unremarkable, of about 1.0218 solar masses. And in its corona, dancing aurora-dragons, ribbons and feathers of nine-colored light, singing and reciting poetry to each other and hitching freezing rides on the asteroids and comets that swing close enough to the star to leap out onto.
One small, dense planet, frosted over with incandescent stormclouds that snow lead flakes onto the slopes of volcanoes whose calderas are choked with galena coral reefs, the bones of colonies of radiation-tolerant extremophilic microorganisms, and where sulfur-swamps coat the lazy tideless beaches of the planet's only ocean, stirred and tilled by people like lanky bundles of black ironstraw, who heap their storehouses high with xanthous dried fusegrass.
One larger, much cooler planet, the calcite gleam of its moon hidden from the surface much of the time by cloudcover. warm, shallow, mildly acidic seas of lavender mucous, tentative marshes of weeping fuschia ferns, translucent lapine blobs with probing antennae that could be eyes or ears or questing tongues, and in the middle of the deepest ocean, a massive gelatinous thing, a superorganism like a rose with its stem plunging down into the volcanic baths of an oceanic rift, a mind from whom all other minds on this planet came and to which they occasionally return, eager to share their stories.
One rocky planet, bitterly cold and with the merest wisps of atmosphere clinging to it. Lifeless, all its water burned off it by baleful solar glare, the vast horizon-spanning saltpan seafloors bone-bare under the violet sky, and its moon hanging above like a clenched fist of black basalt.
An asteroid belt, scattered diamond motes of ice and stone and clay and metals, with three dwarf planets in its embrace, and the largest of them bearing a banner of silver and midnight, a unicorn guarding some alien tree.
A planet one might almost mistake for Earth, for all its snake-necked tortoise-camels and gold-feathered tigermen, for all its gleaming pentagonal ziggurats of diamond and steel, its three space elevators anchored in the emerald forests that girdle the equator, the capital of an interplanetary empire founded at the mouth of an immense river lazily piling hundreds of tons of silt a year into delta marshes, its vast ports berthing wide, flat-bottomed barges hauling iron and salt and sand and cinnabar, barrels of fish and wine and oil and perfumes, tigerman janissaries and scholars and poets and wizards, all tallied and accounted for in the lightning thoughts of supercomputers domesticated by bureaucracy. spaceplanes like silver songbirds or leaping fish ferrying the nobility (who disdain regular shuttle flights from the tips of the space elevators as base transportation for commoners) from the surface of the planet to its moon above, or to any number of gleaming stations in high orbit.
A gas giant, pale as pearl streaked with delicate pink and green pastels, skirted by dozens of captured child-moons, many of them bearing the same unicorn banner, some of them mined for this or that rare earth element, cities buried under the shielding crust of a scant handful, and two of them habitiformed enough to support imperial hunting grounds - managed grasslands or forests full of imported game - and hunting lodges of squat domes and towering spires, mirrored labyrinthine greenhouse-gardens and treasure-vaults of platinum jewelry set with nebula-gems snatched from their condensation-nests in the gas giant's depths.
Another gas giant, the blues and purples of a ripe plum blushing from clouds of midnight-black marbled with gold, icy rings slicing through swirling lunar orbits, merchants and mercenaries and privateers gliding from port to port in their sapphire-hulled ships, out where the empire scrabbles to find purchase. hollowed-out asteroids house cylindrical farms or monasteries of fatalistic leonine faiths or the huddled bodies of wound-down murine clockwork eunuchs, commissioned to advise and amuse some tiger-empress whose phoenix standard had long since faded into obscurity by the time the founder of the unicorn-banner dynasty first rallied soldiers to his cause.
An Earth-sized ball of grey-green ice, glassy smooth surfaces broken up by cryovolcanoes pumping volatiles up from a sooty core to rain down again in miserable pattering drizzles of methane through ammonia blizzards.
An ice giant, the immense azure sphere its inward neighbor might have been were it not for the vagaries of fate as involved in early star system formation, accompanied by seventeen bitterly cold moons whose tides have woven something enormous and ponderous of thought out of the inner sea of supercritical fluids.
a dozen or more dwarf planets of packed stone and ice, swinging through the outer black clouds on vastly elliptical orbits, witnesses to tumbling nickel-iron visitors and alien probes relaying streams of blurry photography and other observations back to some unknown homeworld as they fall endlessly through interstellar space.
