saying this as respectfully as possible but. Do not put fandom content creators on a pedestal. We are also just fans contributing to a community just as you are. We have boundary on our own work and that’s it. What I say is not and should not be considered sth the whole fandom should listen to. I’m just a normal ass person ranting about things on my blog. If it does not have a fandom tag for others to engage in, do not make it out to be me trying to start fights or addressing the whole community. Because it’s not.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, my art, my lore talk, is biased. I’ve never tried to hide that I view Marika a certain way and will always develop my theory following that base assumption.

Aside from translation stuffs and pointing out in-game items, everything else I say you can look at it, agree or disagree, and move on to form your own opinions. Just because I draw stuffs doesn’t mean you get to saddle me with responsibilities about managing fandom expectations. What the hell? I’m a fan artist, I’m the last person who you should look at for “leaderism” (?) WHAT?

I can and will be a hater in my own space, like I know sometimes other artists will just post their stuffs and not engage too heavily with fandom, and for a while I did try to do that here (because I’m already a dramatic ass on twitter), that’s just not me though.

You will get art and you will get my opinions as well.

Day 16 of Hermit-a-Day May: Scar!

The current Wise in Teachings and a former Knight Moralis, Scar has been through a lot in the name of the Hall and the law. Though he needs a sealchair, custom and cat-based, to move around, he’s still spry as the day he got those three scratches down his front from the wrong end of a cat-o-nine-tails and a particularly vicious Brim’s temper. Even though the doctors always try to keep him in the Hall for the sake of his health, he’s mastered the art of mobile-controlled smoke sculptures to the point that he could send one out to the surface world while still appearing to sleep in his own bed.

Legend woke up extra little that morning. As the heroes began getting up and gathering around the fire for breakfast, Legend clumsily pushed himself up and made grabby hands at the nearest person, who happened to be Time.

The man took a moment to register what was happening; it took Legend whining and reaching for him again to lean down and scoop the boy up, to Legend’s delight. He squealed and cooed happily as Time carried him over to the fire.

“Looks like someone’s bitty this morning,” Warriors teased lightly as Time sat beside him, shifting Legend to his lap. Legend hummed and began to kick his legs, eyes trained on Wild as the other hero cooked. One of his hands drifted towards his mouth to chew on his fingers.

Wild glanced at the very little boy on Time’s lap and immediately pulled a loaf of soft bread and a jar of apple jam out of his slate. He quickly sliced the bread and set the pieces on a flat stone on the edge of the fire. Once they were sufficiently toasted, he slathered them with jam before putting them on a plate and handing it to Time.

“Breakfast for the bunny,” he explained with a fond smile.

The bunny in question took one look at the plate and gasped happily. Time had to be careful not to drop it as he eagerly grabbed a slice. As he ate, Legend kicked his feet and swayed, making happy little grunts and squeaks as he did.

His brothers shared fond smiles, already preparing to take the day to relax and spend with their little bunny.

Hunting monsters could wait. This was infinitely more important and precious.

Finally remembered to update the list of which Dead Apostle Ancestors have designs with the Mahoyo adding so much strength to the theory that Calhin is Yumina's ghost. Also updated to add Van-Fem since I hadn't done that since his Elmo debut. And to replace Water Bottle Sumire's literal water bottle picture since anime finally produced a character that's literally her.

Out of curiosity what do you think would happen if, in addition to Ventress, Dooku actually got a Jedi apprentice to train? I'm thinking what if Ferus and Dooku ran into each other but if you don't know Ferus substitute another Jedi.

I think in the books and comics, he does get his hands on at least one Jedi apprentice (Quinlan Vos in current canon) to turn and train, and in Legends/EU, Dooku has a whole vampy posse of Dark Jedi goths, including Sora Bulq, Tol Skorr, Kadrian Sey, and of course, Quinlan Vos again. Look at these magnificent losers.

It’s funny, we really don’t get any current canon look into Sith-era Dooku’s POV goals, unlike Legends which had whole books devoted to it, so forgive my speculating a little bit here. But I suspect Dooku with his mania for teaching and continuing interest in Jedi as a personal resource (for example, his obsession with getting Obi-Wan on his side) he thought the endgame for the defeated Jedi Order would be himself taking over the Temple. Picture his Dark Acolyte gang, but on a much larger scale. I mean, the Temple is right there full of impressionable younglings just waiting for a balanced education of Light and Dark! I could easily see him envisioning himself training some version of what would later become the Inquisitors. Sidious distractedly planning Operation Knightfall with his new better apprentice envisioned as the lead and making listening noises while Dooku waxes on about his New Jedi Order.

Depending on what time they intersect, Ferus and Dooku would make for an interesting conversation, since they both voluntarily left the Jedi Order for very different reasons! It’s been a long time since I read Jedi Quest, but I have a hard time seeing Ferus voluntarily wanting to work with Dooku. What do you think? :3
