Squilf herself as deputy was trying her best to help him reconnect to their family, when he was angrily pushing them all away

He interrupted his own name ceremony and was given a new one, no consequence

Was given a huge opportunity to go on a mission to get lifesaving medicine, BECAUSE of Jayfeather, Alderheart, and Squilf, his family. Didn't appreciate this.

Ran away to ShadowClan, and then came back, no consequence again because his family missed him.

Left AGAIN with a StarClan Permission Slip to help Frostpaw, came back, no consequence for vanishing. Even Sunbeam doesn't resent this.

He does get away with shit because he's a descendant of Firestar, he's part of the family that leads ThunderClan. This all would have been treated much more harshly, and he wouldn't have gotten so many opportunities, if these people WEREN'T his family.

And now he's gotten an apprentice before Shell and Honey for it!

This ISN'T "building his own legacy." It IS nepotism.

Even the next handful of cats who get apprentices-- Bayshine, his best friend who he was basically raised with and aids him constantly, just this morning lying to cover Sunbeam, AND Finchlight, sister. Molewhisker is a random senior mentor so they're not ALL completely brand new.

I am on my period, I’m rlly hot and sad and would rather be at the beach than anywhere else so I drew the bad sanses there!! Also regular Dust on the side.

I also tried to draw regular legs instead of my stylised ones for the first time in two actual years and I’m still just as good!! >:))

I am also obsessed with how the specific things that are awful about Louis are being slowly revealed and it's so beautiful cos it's not like oh psych he was evil the whole time secretly . we are presented these traits from the very first episode when he holds a knife to his brother's neck to keep his buisness reputation intact the way he runs an extremely exploitative business but remains mostly focused on how hard it is for Him

Firefly is a well written character with a strong backstory, themes that are relevant to Penacony's story, clearly defined goals, motivations, and a consistent personality. She is also made to pander with stereotypical (and sometimes weirdly out of character) "cute" anime girl traits. Firefly's HEAVILY implied love interest status to the trailblazer overlaps with both their backstories (before memory wipe, when tb was a stellaron hunter) and explains a lot about the way she interacts with them. It is also undeniably forced for fanservice purposes. Firefly isn't a case of a stereotypical female character with the personality of cardboard that you get forced on a date with for fanservice (COUGHGENSHINCOUGHSTOPCOUGDOINGCOUGHTHISCOUGHPLEASE) but she also isn't a completely perfectly written character, the same goes for her relationship to the trailblazer.

Found Family in a Zombie Apocalypse. That's it.

Mmhmm, allow me to add:

tw: suicide

Tending to injuries with minimum supplies. 

Long vigils.

Trying to keep the whumpee quiet during field-surgery so they don’t alert nearby zombies/raiders. 

The panic after being bitten.

Worrying if they’ve been infected. 

The infected decide to leave during the night (maybe to take their own life) to remove the emotional toll upon everyone. Maybe the whumpees have to fight off their zombie!family member... or they stumble across their corpse. Maybe someone can’t sleep, and they hear the infected leave that night. They also hear the gunshot echoing a short time later. 

Sleeping huddled together for warmth. 

The ‘dad’ of the group risking his life more often/going without food/supplies so his ‘kids’ don’t suffer. 

The difficult decisions that bring them closer - but some also cause arguments that span for days.

Doing me some research for magic mountain art for hermitcraft season 10, and Consider:

Grian as Canadian Goose? Elegant and fiercely protective of their own. Loud, occasionally aggressive, scary although quite interesting. And also, any Canadian will tell you geese scare them (I know many Canadians who have told me goose attack stories, those mfs can break arms and bruise ribs). Also also, interesting fact, Geese have teeth!

Do you think Windclan would have their camp in said ruins? It would be an interesting place for them to set down, though I can imagine that they probably wouldn’t seeing as how they’re clearly a human place and the cats are very much traumatized by humans, so it might be seen as a bad omen to even go near them

I heavily considered it, but ultimately yeah, no, Clan cats would be waaay too traumatized by human structures to repurpose one.

Additionally, I'm positive that the area would get semi-frequent human visitors. Horseback riding and dog-walking is probably banned in that area (both to preserve the heathland and to protect the Clan cats later) but in their TNP exploration, WindClan would find a lot of stale human scent and consider the site "not totally abandoned."

Harepaw, Heatherpaw, and Breezepaw probably hang out there a lot in secret, though. It's the Scary Forbidden Place you can sneak off to when you don't want to be bothered by adults.

It's been less than a decade of legal gay marriage in the US (2015) -- not even the majority of my life -- but it really feels so far in the past. I was reading a fanfic and was like "why is this so weird about gayness??" and then I remembered the source is set in the 2000s - the author was just being time period accurate. And like. Okay I remember gay marriage. I remember first hearing about it when I was 8 and it taking a couple years but becoming a thing and in 8th grade (I was 14) I had a teacher who was queer married but would never talk about it but in 7th grade some of my classmates had a younger teacher who would gush about her wife. I've heard again and again, "growing up, gay marriage wasn't legal. I didn't have hope for a happy future." I remember that post with the flower girl dog "a few years ago, this wouldn't have been legal" "and for a second I lived in a world where homophobia didn't exist." Just this idea that gay marriage being legal is the norm for me and young people in most of the West. It's not new anymore. We still hear news about gay marriage being legalized in other countries but it's just so normal here now. Kids today aren't growing up under the othering idea that gay people can't get married -- they're growing up in a world where they're going to meet happy gay married couples and they're going to know gay people get married not because they've had to wait for decades for it to be legal, but because they met and fell in love and got engaged afterwards. They can see their happy future. We're so lucky.

You know who has had gay marriage legal for the majority of their life? A 15 year old. Not that young. I'm so grateful for everyone who came before and made this happen. I'm usually such a downer about the state of the world but some things aren't so bad. Some things are quite nice after all.
