Some things I’ve experienced as far as shifting from she/they to fully they has been accepting people are going to say whatever they want despite what we have, buuuuut bt but are less likely to do so if it’s just a solid “they” if that makes sense ? i am not good at explaining and I don’t mean this to sound a way i just wanted to be like i love u I understand the cringe when someone calls you a woman and its super fun and super valid if at any point you just start using they all together c:
I appreciate the thoughts. As I’ve said, my take on my own gender is super nuanced and honestly not worth explaining in its entirety on here (except I think I may have an old post where I go off abt it in the tags lol) but with my feelings, I don’t anticipate only using they/them pronouns or no longer using she/her pronouns anytime soon

can't believe a show based on a videogame (usually games adaptations are notoriously bad, which isn't the case here tho) gave me the beauty and the beast/twisted mirrors/enemies to traveling companions/ruthless antihero+optmistic but still badass heroine who takes none of his shit/age gap but make it sexy dynamic of my dreams. as much as i love maximus and i think he deserves the best writing ever because 1. he's a clever deconstruction of the aspiring Knight bro who's actually a bit of a loser and, as much as lucy, sees the world in black&white at first and then doesn't get what he thought he wanted but what he needs (or at least i hope he'll eventually get it), and 2. he's a cutie and i want an epic love story for him too, it's very funny how they tried to give us a puppy kind of romance and the tumblr girlies still fixated on the "toxic ~she bites his finger off and he cuts hers off and sews it on his hand in what we'll pretend it's a symbolic marriage rings exchange or whatever~ asshole who used to be a nice guy/good girl™ with a lot of spunk and hidden anger but unshakeable morals" kind of relationship.

im speaking across multiple scopes where this can happen. im talking anything between different comic interations, different media adaptations (book to movie, manga to anime, etc etc), inspiration from mythos and legends, and even an individual's personal interpretation of the character in their fanfiction or fanart. and all the like. is the character same or different?

i was already contemplating this sort of au, but i watched practical magic with my friends tonight and now i'm just!! so very in need of witch chiyo!! witch chiyo who grew up being picked on bc of the reputation her family had, but at least she had her family to turn to. at least she had her ancestors watching over her and perhaps beings not yet known to her, too. at least she had hours spent with her grandmother reading a terribly old tome to her, tales of women and men just like them spoken into the air; they were not to be forgotten, and chiyo keeps those stories close to her heart. she remembers them, thinks of them whenever she utters one of their spells.
i need witch chiyo who, in classic witchy fashion, runs a lil shop of herbs, ointments, teas, and other such things. i need witch chiyo who believes in spirits and higher beings, yet rejects the concept of fate. i need witch chiyo who dismisses very obvious omens that something is coming. i need witch chiyo who fights and thrashes against an every-approaching destiny, be it her own or a loved ones. i need witch chiyo and i need her bad!!!

actually 28 Days Later saying that no, survival of the fittest doesn't matter if you don't give everything you have to protect your people, and especially those seen as more vulnerable (i.e. women and children) in whatever way you can, survival is worth jack shit if that isn't your priority, is kind of profound

i think its kinda interesting when ppl tag my big shot spam content as “addison spamton” cuz yeah, I can see where they’re coming from–he IS still visibly an addison in the sense before pre-puppetfication. Yet at the same time its interesting because to me I separate addison spam and big shot spamton less in terms of appearance and more so based on status. To me addison spam is in its “addison” phase of life because although they want to achieve big dreams, Spam is just trying to make ends meet and to somehow fit in with the rest of the addisons as much as he can (even if it means exaggerating its ego on purpose). Big shot spamton, however, doesn’t have to deal with most of those of those things anymore; Spamton’s finally achieved their dreams of becoming a big shot. He doesn’t have to worry about fitting in anymore–Spamton can finally be a successful salesman. Yet, in exchange for that popularity and praise, Spamton’s life will unknowingly go downhill from there as it learns horrors beyond their comprehension. That’s the key difference that makes me categorize addison spam and big shot spamton separately, despite both of them being pre-puppetified.

Are there any fictional characters you think you resemble, either in appearance or in personality?
Interesting question, I do enjoy stuff like this. Hmm. I don't... really think so? At least not that I've come across. I would like for some characters to look or have a similar personality, it would be neat! I think the most I could think about, but it's really only one thing, is Warren Godby (Red Valley podcast) and Lloyd Allen (Shaperaverse) in terms of their anger issues and how they deal. Other than that? Especially personality and how my autism shapes it, it's. Rough? It's something.
I feel like unless I headcanoned a character (since I primarily listen to audio drama and most of those, characters don't really have canon looks) to have similar features to myself, none of them would really have my body type/appearance. But that's more a thing of the lack of fat people in media, even trying to find real people who have similar body types to myself is hard
