ive played a lot of the original df (like. an unhealthy amount) but the absolute biggest thing i love about steam df is that statues actually look like their images now. i just made a statue of a slug and started screaming because it actually looks like a slug

JFC, I enjoyed trying to do deathless runs on Vanilla Classic and even I thought the leveling speed and traveling distance (read: with or without the mount) was like pulling teeth.

No thank you, I’ll stick to retail. Plus my health’s more important than sweating it out to endgame content without sleeping for 24-48 hours, good lord.

Elder scrolls worldgen presets for Dwarf Fortress

People seemed to like the BotW Hyrule worldgen preset I shared for for Dwarf Fortress a few months ago so I thought I'd share these ones too.

The file contains world prests in different sizes for Cyrodiil (generated from the Oblivion heightmap), Skyrim (generated from the Skyrim heightmap), Vvardenfell (generated from the Morrowind heightmap) the Iliac Bay (generated from the Daggerfall heightmap) and Tamriel (generated from this fanmade heightmap)

Elevation should be relatively accurate bc I generated them from the games' actual heighmaps using PerfectworldDF, althought I had to make some minor alterations (such as connecting the Imperial City Isle to the rest of the world with a little land bridge). I did my best with the biome placement but I'm only human and the DF biome editor is not exactly easy to use, look at this shit:

This was made for classic DF but I've confirmed it works with the Steam version too.

How to use:

Download this world_gen.txt file

Go to your Dwarf Fortress install.

Go to data>init

Replace that folder's world_gen.txt file with this one.

(Make a backup of the old file if you want to keep your old world presets. Or merge the two files into one by copying the entire text of one of them and pasting it at the end of the other)

In game, choose "Design new world with Advanced Parameters"

Choose one of the presets from this file.

Before generating, you can tweak details like history length, number of civs, etc, etc etc.

Kissing headcanons

Li Lianhua initiating

When Li Lianhua kisses Fang Duobing he pulls him by the lapels of his outer layer and presses his their lips softly together that make Fang Duobing blush like a fair maiden.

In a more heated setting, he has his arms wrapped around Fang Duobing pulling him close and immediately shoving his tongue in the first chance he gets, not letting to until he has Fang Duobing pliant and panting in his arms after which he caresses his hair gently.

With Di Feisheng, he smiles and then walks right up to him to lean upwards and steal a gentle kiss that the other immediately sinks into, there's no chaste kisses between them just soft and deep.

In a heated setting, biting. Lots of biting, but especially Li Lianhua bites dfs a lot, has to leave the lips bruised every time. He sucks the lower lip into his mouth and goes on nibbling like it's candy and then pulls away once he's sure that anymore might actually make him bleed.

Di Feisheng initiating

Di Feisheng usually just slips his hand around Li Lianhua's waist and tugs him into his arms to steal the kisses, softly moving the lips together and only parting when Li Lianhua moves back away.

In a heated setting, he pulls Li Lianhua into his arms with just as much force but also lifts him up easily and starts biting before letting Li Lianhua once again suck his bottom lip or tries to swallow Llh's tongue.

With Fang Duobing he's a little rougher, what can he do? The boy is just asking to be manhandled. He grabs him by the back of his neck to pull him close enough to peck his lips before abruptly moving away as if he didn't just do that.

In a heated setting, he keeps him in place with the hand on the back of his neck until fdb is whining and crying and pawing at him to pull him closer or strip him. The needy little thing rarely tries to get away from the kissing.

Fang Duobing initiating

With Li Lianhua, he pouts and gazes at him until the other concedes and pulls him into a kiss, other times he keeps whining while closing the distance until he has him cornered or wrapped up in his arms before pressing a kiss and then nuzzling into his neck.

In a heated setting, he grabbing a little more frantically and forcefully than he would allow himself when not consumed with need, he pulls him close and swallows down any protests or snide remarks that would have come his way, arching into llh who is chuckling by the time they pull away.

With Di Feisheng it's a lot easier, he just annoys the man until he pulls him by the neck to shut him up. Or he goes the angry pout look screaming about something or nothing until he's either seated on his lap or close enough to kiss and run because really dfs never lets him off easy with kisses.

In a heated setting it's even worse, because all fdb has to do for a kiss is raise his arms and make grabby hands at DFS with a high pitched whine and tangle his hands in dfs's open hair to be picked up and swallowed right down. In classic dfs fashion the kiss doesn't end until fdb is close to passing out.

Divergent Fist follows the stories of Toge Inumaki and Yuuta Okkotsu, navigating the world of jujutsu sorcerers, trauma and healing, and budding romance in the aftermath of the Shibuya incident. Expertly balancing the soft moments with the devastating, ArtMop (she/her) is in the midst of crafting a doujin that is sure to stand the test of time and become a classic for any fans of BL in the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.

To start off, I'd like to be transparent that yes, I do edit ArtMop's chapters and help with the general planning of the series. I have a clear bias. That being said, I genuinely believe that this doujin is not getting the attention it deserves, and I just want to shout my love for it from the top of a mountain. Let me give a hardworking creator some love, okay?

First off, let's talk about the #1 selling point of DF - it is an illustrated fanfic that updates regularly and is accessible entirely for free. What more could you possibly ask for? You wanted more Toge content? More Yuuta content? Well, here you go!

It is worth noting that the art itself, despite being above average to begin with, improves drastically throughout the story. The anatomy, expressions, and details in the last few chapters are breathtaking. With each installment in the DF series, ArtMop improves and improves and improves. I, personally, wait with bated breath for the drop of the next color cover, the next insert art. There doesn't seem to be a ceiling in sight when it comes to ArtMop's swiftly growing skill, and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for her. If she applies a fraction of the same dedication to honing her craft to anything else in her life, she may become the next president... or something far cooler.

Stunning visuals aside, the story itself is magnificent. It integrates canon world building, mixed with original cursed techiques and characters, so seamlessly that it feels as though this is an actual spin-off of Jujutsu Kaisen. Perhaps an alternate universe where underutilized characters are given a bit more depth (shots fired 👈😎👈)?

The character arcs have been set in motion! We have Toge refusing to acknowledge his trauma. We have Yuuta's sexual awakening. We have a deeper look into Maki's friendship with Toge, and a delightful duo of new first years. And best of all? We have a villain with an interesting motive. It's clear that ArtMop has so much planned, more than we can possibly imagine! We are already starting to see how relationships are developing, how each character manages the aftermath of certain choices differently, and the story is only going to build from here.

Chapter 12 has just been posted on Tapas and Tumblr, and if you're craving even more Divergent Fist content, there are even a couple behind the scenes moments found on Archive of Our Own. Listen, as someone who knows the trajectory of the story, please check out this amazing series.
