Loki Knew Her
Putting this here just in case people can not read it on dA. I know they can be a problem sometimes.
This story is about two people falling in love. No ordinary people either, two Asgardians…well sorta…One is full Asgardian, the other one is actually Jotun. This story is about Asuna and her love Loki. Their life together…but before we get to that love…we have to see the friendship first and see how it grows.
Asuna was wandering around the castle with her mother, she was only 5 years old, when she saw the princes walking with their father, the king or Allfather. Asuna didn’t know where the Allmother was at the moment. She looked at the princes and smiled at them. They both smiled and Thor even waved back. Loki seemed very shy. The interaction was so quick and fleeting. A few days later Asuna was in the library with her studies when Loki came in to read a book for a while.
He saw Asuna and went to her. “Hi, I’m prince Loki.” He put out his hand. Asuna couldn’t help but giggle, but Loki thought she was laughing at him. She quickly grabbed his hand before he could move and greeted him, “Hello, I’m Asuna.” Without thinking he lifted her hand to his lips to kiss it, much like the Allfather did with the Allmother. Asuna remained perfectly still until Thor came in to drag his brother away. “Come brother, we have much to be doing.” Even at that age his voice was loud, nearly booming. Asuna giggled and waved at Loki in goodbye.
A few years later when they were ten years old, Loki was hanging out with his brother, his best friend and Thor’s friends. Odin walked down the hall to them with guards behind him as usual, “Boys! Come with me!” Odin called to them. With that Odin walked away, again guards still behind him, and the boys following soon after him. “I’ll try to come see you later.” Loki told Asuna, Thor pouted about not being invited. Asuna nodded at Loki.
Asuna’s mother soon came to get her to do chores for the day, cook, clean, wash…anything that was needed of them. Asuna didn’t know how to do anything else…this was her life and most likely all she would do until her life was over.
Later that evening Asuna was waiting for Loki…she waited so long that she fell asleep waiting for him. She woke up the next morning…She couldn’t be mad for he was a prince after all.
Into the day was when she would see Loki again, but he seemed disgruntled…something was clearly wrong with him. “Prince Loki, is everything well? You seem not yourself today.” Loki sighed and barely looked at her, “I would be better if I knew that I would be king one day. But I know for sure it will go to Thor. Father treats him better than I.” Asuna sat next to him, not too close, “I think you would be a great king when you grow up. Who knows, maybe Thor will not want the throne.”
“Lies!” Thor came up to them. “I will be a great king. Father said so himself.” Asuna looked at Loki, who wasn’t any happier. She wanted to grab his hand in hers or hug him to comfort him and show him her support, but he was a prince and she was a commoner. She was allowed to play with them but that was it, nothing more was to be done. “To Hel with it.” Loki looked shocked and noticed her looking around. She grabbed his hand in her, brought it to her lips and left a feather light kiss on his knuckles. Loki and Thor were both shocked. Loki because someone else other than his mother cared for him, and Thor because someone actually liked Loki other than their mother. Before they could be seen, Asuna leaned to his ear, her lips so close, “I will always support you, my very best friend.” Loki pulled away and was shocked, numbly nodded and walked away with Thor for supper.
As they grew up, certain events and changes happened of course. Asuna’s mother had passed from illness. One that thankfully Asuna did not catch and neither did anyone else. Loki was there for her, and thankfully Frigga adopted her as a daughter. She was made a lady of the court of course. Thor was being trained to be king by Odin more and more each day, Loki was pushed to the side. Asuna tried to make him happy, and he seemed thus, but he still wanted his father to accept him and he wanted a throne like he was promised as a child. Asuna wished she could take that promise and shove it, for Odin making Loki think this way, it wasn’t healthy especially as they grew older.
Asuna still supported Loki, even through his mischief, the trouble and pain he caused people, but she tried to lessen it as best she could. She truly wanted to tell Loki her feelings, for over the many years she had grown to love him, silly as it may be…but even as a lady of the court she wasn’t a princess and knew that Loki deserved better than her. Though that didn’t stop young maidens from trying to sleep with him to gain status, and some men as well. She knew Loki wasn’t completely attracted to just women, he liked men too. Asuna accepted this. If he would prefer a man to her she would support him and stay by his side anyway, as his best friend.
Also as the years went on and Thor was taught how to rule by his father, Loki was taught magic by his mother. Asuna would sit and watch sometimes, until her mother died and Frigga thought it helpful for her to learn magic as well. She would also train in combat as well. Frigga thought it was a good idea, since she could see glimpses of the future, everyone knew this, so Asuna wondered but never questioned.
As the years went on…before they knew it they were all just a little over 1000 years old, Asuna could see that Loki was upset about not being able to be king. She grabbed his hand and went to their secret spot for just them. She would comfort him there when she knew he needed it. Once they were in their spot, Loki told her what was going on, “Thor will be announced as the next king tomorrow…” Asuna grabbed his hand. “Look at me Loki…I think you will make a wonderful king. I will support you if that time comes. You never know, we both know how Thor can be, he might not actually take the throne when the time comes.” Loki didn’t look at her and ripped his hand away from hers, “He will be king. I don’t understand why Father told me I would be king if it was nothing but a lie!” Asuna was taken aback by his rage and just sat there as he left.
Today was the day…Thor’s day. Asuna sighed as she stood with the others of the court and watched as Thor held up his hammer before he started to walk toward the throne where his father stood proudly waiting for him. Off to the left were the Allmother Frigga, Loki and Lady Sif. Off to the right were The Warriors Three, Hogun, Fandral, and Volstagg. Yes…the glorious day where Thor would be named the next king…instead of Loki, whom Asuna thought was a better choice. Not because she loved him so much, but he was very smart…where Thor didn’t understand magic or science. It was all swing hammer for him.
For Asuna all she wanted to do was run to Loki and comfort him, or run away if he wanted that instead. It may seem crazy that she was so in love with him and supportive of him but that’s what you do with someone you care so much about. She had her eyes on Loki as he stood next to his mother. She looked in his eyes, that weren’t actually looking at her…she could see something that. He was up to something, she knew it. She just hoped he wouldn’t get into too much trouble from whatever prank it was that he was about to pull. She knew long ago, after Loki changed from an innocent boy to a mischievous god, that nothing would make her stop loving him…not one thing.
She had been wrapped in her own thoughts that she had barely taken into account what Odin had been saying until there was silence. A softly spoke, “Frost giants…” from Odin. Then he, Thor and Loki went off, most likely to the vault. Because Asuna knew that was where the casket that belonged to the Frost Giants was kept.
Not long after, Asuna was looking for the princes and heard a clamor from where there were feasts. She ran to see what was going on and saw a table overturned. Lady Sif and the Warriors Three not that far behind her. She assumed that Thor had flipped the table in a fit of rage. Asuna shook her head. She sat down next to Loki to listen to what he was saying, she knew that he was baiting his brother…but she didn’t understand why. She decided to ignore it for now, maybe Thor wouldn’t listen to his brother for once, and set about cleaning up the mess Thor had made. She wouldn’t say anything, she wasn’t allowed to.
As they were walking out, Loki stayed behind and knelt by Asuna as she was cleaning up, “Tell not one soul, pet. I will be informing a guard to inform Father.” Asuna sighed softly and nodded. As he got up she could have sworn she heard him say, “That’s my girl.’ or ‘Good girl.’ She ignored it as he walked out to catch up with the others and kept cleaning.
Asuna walked to the balcony to see Loki, Thor and the others making their way down the rainbow bridge to the Bifrost. She shook her head and went back to finish cleaning up the mess. A few maids came in to help and they all eventually got the table right side up.
By the time they were finished she heard the Warriors Three coming in with Sif. “Are you all okay?” She saw the black skin on Volstagg. “We are well.” Fandral came over to her to grab the wine she was setting out. “Thank you.” He said. “Thor and Loki are with the Allfather right now.” Sif informed her. Asuna breathed a sigh of relief that Loki and Thor were home safe. “I’m glad everyone made it back.” She bowed with grace and started the walk home.
Loki found her on her way home and told her everything…well not his plans. Not the fact that he turned blue, well his hand anyway, either. But he did tell her about Thor’s banishment. “Loki, you tricked Thor by goading him into going there…Why? Was that your plan from the start? To get your brother out of the way so you could be king? Did you bring the frost giants here?” This was her home…She loved Loki…she did but this was going farther than he had ever gone before. “He’s your brother, Loki.” To Loki it looked that even the woman he loved, yet had not told, was picking his brother over him. “I should have known that my best friend would pick my brother over me. So much for you supporting me and being by my side.” And with that he got up and hurriedly walked off. Asuna watched him walk off… “I’m so sorry Loki.” She made her way home with tears in her eyes.
Asuna walked into her room, not having a clue what to do. The man she loved was doing all of this to have a throne. She sighed, grabbed a book off the shelf, summoned some tea and went to her bed to read until she was tired enough to sleep.
Loki was standing away from his friends…Thor’s friends as they spoke. “We never should have let him go.” Volstagg told them. “There was no way we could have stopped him.” Sif spoke matter of factly. Fandral spoke up next, “Well, he is only banished, not dead. Which is what we’d all be, if that guard hadn’t told Odin where we’d gone.” Hogun walked over to Volstagg to put some lotion on the burn he had received from the Jotuns. Loki was lost in thought while still listening to them talk. He looked at his hand wondering what was going on. “How did the guard even know we had gone?” Volstagg questioned. Loki looked at them, “I told him.” He admitted. “I told him to go to Odin after we’d left. He should be flogged for taking so long. We should have never even reached Jotunheim.” (Flogged means beaten)
“You told the guard where we were going?” Volstagg proclaimed in anger. “I saved our lives. And Thor’s. I had no idea Father would banish him for what he did.” Sif got up and walked toward Loki. “Loki. You must go to the Allfather and convince him to change his mind.” He faced her, “What if I do, then what? I love Thor more dearly than any of you, but you know what he is, how he is. He is arrogant. He is reckless. He is dangerous. You saw how he was just today. Is that what Asgard needs from its future king?” Loki walked out as soon as he finished speaking.
“He may speak for the good of Asgard, but he has always been jealous of Thor.” Sif spoke after Loki had completely left. “We should be grateful to him, he did save our lives.” They continued to talk for a while.
Loki walked to the vault. Once inside he picked up the casket. As soon as he touched it he turned blue…as if he were a Jotun. “Stop!” Odin shouted at Loki. He put it back down and turned to face him. “Am I cursed?” Loki inquired. “No.” Odin replied. “What am I?” Loki questioned. “You are my son.” Odin told him, walking down the steps a little. Once Loki was turning around the blue from his Jotun form was disappearing. “I want more than that. The casket wasn’t the only thing you stole from the frost giants that day was it?” Loki asked. “No.” Odin explained to Loki how he got him. He found out he was Laufey’s son. Loki’s thoughts were all over the place. “Why? Why would you take me?” Loki asked. “You were an innocent child.” Odin told him, Loki didn’t believe him. “No, you took me for a purpose. What was it? Tell me!” He yelled at Odin. “I thought we could make an alliance, make peace, one day.” Odin told him. “What?” Loki was confused, and hurt. He felt like his world was falling apart and he had no part in it anymore. He didn’t know what to believe anymore.
“Those plans to longer matter.” Odin told him, he saw Loki as his son. “So I’m just another stolen artifact to be locked up until you need me?” Loki seemed to be getting angrier as the moment passed. “Why do you twist my words?” Odin was trying to calm his son down. He knows just what Loki can be when he was angry. “Why didn’t you tell me from the beginning?”
“You’re my son. I wanted to protect you from the truth.” Loki was upset, Odin could see it clear as any day. “Why? Because I’m a monster.” Loki started going off in a fit, while Odin was weary, say down on the steps. Loki came up to him. “You couldn’t stand to see a frost giant sit on the throne of Asgard.” Once his father passed out, he wanted to grab his hand, but this wasn’t his father. He yelled for the guards and they came running in to help Odin.
The guards took Odin to a chamber that has a pod for his Odinsleep. Loki, confused, went to find his friend, he had to try and talk to her. Tell her about how he was sorry. It didn’t take him long to get there, considering she lived in the same place she always had with her mother before she passed away. He knocked on the door, but no answer. Neither from the door opening or the sound of her voice telling him she would be there in a moment. He knocked on the door again, and started to worry that maybe he really upset her. Because he knew that he was the only one that really came to her home. After she didn’t answer the door the second time he went through the door, knowing that since she didn’t answer and all the lights were out she must be sleeping. He sighed but still wanted to check on her anyway.
He made his way up to her second floor and looked for her bedroom. He had never actually been to her home. He went to one room and found that not only was she not there but it looked like the bedroom had been unchanged for a very very long time. He figured it must be her mother’s room. He went to another room and found her bedroom. She was sleeping in her bed facing away from him, so he went around to see her face. What he saw shocked him…tears running down her face. He could tell she was dreaming of what he didn’t know but he was certain it had to be about him. He was about to gently wipe her tears away but pulled back and looked at his hand… “I’m a monster.” And with that he left.
Asuna watched as Loki fell off the bridge into an abyss and she cried tears of pure sorrow at the loss of the man she loved. But he wasn’t gone forever…Asuna saw him again, but he was king and with a queen by his side. It wasn’t her. She never told Loki her feelings…they were never together. She cried so hard for the love she lost. Watching him be a glorious king and have a lovely queen with a beautiful family. All the things she wanted with him but will never have. She woke up suddenly feeling magic in the air. It was Loki’s but he wasn’t here. She shook her head and went back to sleep.
Loki was walking back to his room lost in thought. He really needed to talk to Asuna but he didn’t want to scare her away. He knew he had upset her earlier but all it would take was an apology for getting angry at her and she would forgive him. And as of right now she knew nothing of the secrets about himself, but she did know he was trying to take the throne. Once she heard about Odin she would most likely think he caused it…maybe or maybe not. He knew there was a possibility that she would believe him no matter what since she was always by his side and he knew she cared about him. She was his best friend for a reason. But the thought of losing her killed him inside. So with that he decided to walk to the throne and become king.
The next day, Asuna went about her duties, not trying to avoid Loki but also just trying to figure out her feelings and how to tell him.
The Warriors Three and Lady Sif showed up to the throne expecting to see Odin, but instead were met with Loki sitting on the throne…as if he were king. He informed them that Odin had fallen into the Odinsleep and it was unclear of when he would be waking up. Also the Allmother would not leave his side. “You can bring your urgent matters to me. Your King.” Asuna had been walking by when she heard Loki announce this to their friends. “...No…” Asuna didn’t think that Loki wanted the throne that bad, that he would not only get rid of his brother but his father as well. There had to be an explanation behind all of this. She shook her head and kept on walking. After a bit she had to walk about through, but snuck into the throne room to see what was going on.
They asked Loki to bring Thor back from his banishment. “I can not undo the last King’s command. We are on the brink of war because of him as it is. We are done here.” They all turned to leave, as they were Sif stayed, turned to look at Loki a moment longer, before she turned and walked out following the Warriors Three.
Loki waited until they were gone, “You can come out now. You never were good at hiding from me, or sneaking around.” Asuna came out from behind the column. “What have you done?” Loki looked mad, “What I’ve done?! I’ve done nothing but take my father’s place while he sleeps!” Loki yelled at her. This time she didn’t turn around before he could see the tears start to well in her eyes. Loki immediately regretted yelling at her, she wasn’t who he was mad at. “I-I have to go.” He shuddered as he turned and walked out of the throne room. He was on his way to where his father slept…
Loki decided to pay a visit to the chamber where Odin slept to have a word with his mother. “Why did he never tell me?” She gave Loki the same gentle smile she always had. “He kept the truth from you so that you wouldn’t feel different. You are our son, Loki. And we are your family. We mustn’t lose hope that your father will return to us. And your brother.” Loki looked stunned, “What hope is there for Thor?” His mother leaned forward a little, “There is always a purpose for what your father does.” Loki leaned back, lips pressed tightly to each other. He wasn’t happy at all. One thing he wanted to do was talk to his best friend, but he had hurt her so badly now…He didn’t know if he lost her as a friend or not, forever. He didn’t know who he was anymore. Loki left his mother alone with Odin.
Sometime later in New Mexico, Loki was with Thor. “Loki?” Loki nodded, “I had to come see you.” Thor looked shocked, “What? What is it? Let me explain to father-” Loki interrupted him. “Father is dead.” Thor was in complete and utter shock. “What?”
“Your banishment. Threat of a new war. It was too much for him to bear. You mustn’t blame yourself. The burden of the throne has fallen to me now.” Thor looked like he had a glimmer of hope in his eyes when he asked, “Can I come home?” Loki had a poker face on the entire time. “The treaty with Jotunheim is conditional on your banishment. Mother has forbidden your return. This is goodbye brother. I’m so sorry.” Thor apologized and thanked him for letting him know. “Farewell.” Loki said, turning around and disappearing.
Once back in the throne room, Loki wasn’t prepared for a slap to the cheek, a hard slap at that. “How could you do that to your brother?” Asuna screamed at him. “I want to believe you are better than this…but you’re making it hard on me, Loki. You have a family that loves you. Can’t you see that? People that love you! Why are you trying to throw it all away over something as stupid as a throne?” She screamed at him before she passed out. Loki caught her in his arms and sighed. He took her to his chambers to rest. She was right though, why was he trying to throw it all away? Either way he would keep going with his plan.
Loki used the Bifrost to go to the frost giants to make a deal.
After a few hours, Asuna woke up in a stranger’s bed. “Where…” She sat up and realized she had been here before. She was in Loki’s room. Speak of the devil, he came into the room to see her sitting up. “You don’t understand what I’m trying to do.” She tried to get out of bed and when she did she stumbled. Loki moved forward to catch her if she fell again. “Yes I do! You’re trying to prove to Odin that you are worthy.” Loki could see Asuna was trying her hardest to be strong. “Then you know you can’t stop me.” With that Loki turned around to leave, “Stay here. It’s in your best interest.” He left and she heard the doors locked.
Asuna got up quickly, running for the doors and banging on them to be let out. But to no avail, she wasn’t let out and found the doors locked. She didn’t understand what had caused the Loki she had fallen for so long ago to change and be this now. It didn’t make sense. In all the 1000 plus years she has been by his side…He never wanted the throne this badly, but now it seemed more personal. She sighed, trying to figure out a way to get out and get to the bottom of what was going on.
Loki made his way to the weapons vault, going inside and down to where the Guardian was kept. “Make sure my brother doesn’t come back. Destroy everything.”
Loki was doing whatever it took to keep his plan going, he wasn’t going to let anything stop him. With that he went back to his throne to watch the destruction from the eyes and ears of the Iron Guardian. He didn’t know that Asuna was watching behind the column listening to everything. She was upset that Loki was doing all of this to begin with. Loki was listening to the words his brother was saying. “End this? It will never end until your death.” Asuna wanted to come out from behind the column, to stop Loki, but he didn’t know she had used magic to escape his room. Suddenly she heard Thor’s thunder…she knew that Thor had his powers back and soon they would all be back in Asgard.
She watched as Loki got up and she ran back to his room without being seen and went through the locked doors. She went to a window to see if she could see Loki going outside of the palace, and indeed she did. He made his way to the Bifrost. She saw that Heimdall was being frozen and that Loki was gone. She waited on the balcony for his return, only to see the frost giants, and Loki was letting them into Asgard. She put her hands to her mouth with a gasp. “No…” She said softly.
Not long after she saw Heimdall break out of the icy prison and cut the frost giants standing guard down. He went and put his sword in the key port. Soon enough the others along with Thor had returned. Asuna ran out of the room, through the doors with her magic, and went to Odin’s slumber chamber. She got there in time to warn the Queen before Laufey was there. Once there the Queen tried to fight Laufey with a sword but was knocked back, backhanded. Asuna tried to use her magic but was backhanded as well, not falling too far from the Frigga.
Laufey, the frost giant king, went over to and stood over Odin. He made an ice dagger, but before he could use it he was shot at, by Loki. “And your death came at the son of Odin.” With that said, Loki used the scepter to kill Laufey, who burst into gold dust.
Loki’s mother went up to him as he came to hug her in a tight embrace. Making sure for himself that nothing bad had happened to her. Loki looked to see Asuna lying on the floor, he moved to go see if she was okay, but Thor’s voice stopped him. Frigga went and hugged Thor. “Loki, why don’t you tell them how you sent the destroyer to kill me?” Loki lied, He shot Thor out of the room and made his way to the Bifrost. Frigga helped Asuna up, “You may be the only one to get through to him.” Asuna shook her head. “I couldn’t before.” Frigga shook her head. “You have to try.” Asuna sighed and nodded and went to where Loki and Thor were fighting.
Asuna could somewhat hear Loki using his silvertongue to make Thor as mad as he could, to get him to fight. She wanted to stop this, she had to think of something, she just didn’t want to hurt Loki because he was the love of her life, but Thor was like the older brother she always wanted. She sighed, “Why?” She spoke softly to not a single soul, trying to come up with a plan. She didn’t want to use magic because she knew that Loki could counter her.
Loki made himself copies to surround Thor, but Thor used his lightning to make them disappear so only the real Loki remained, and was knocked back. After getting up, Thor put his hammer down on Loki’s chest so that he couldn’t get up. Loki tried to get it off him while Thor went to try and stop the madness that Loki had started. Asuna ran over to Loki who asked her to help him. She thought for a moment and then actually tried but failed, “I’m sorry Loki. I can’t get it off. I’m unworthy.” She lied well, she didn’t actually try to get it off him. She could see in Loki’s eyes that he was sad for the things he had done to her. Loki went back to mocking Thor. Thor summoned his hammer and started to destroy the Bifrost.
Loki summoned his scepter and ran to Thor, jumping and going to stab him in the back. Before Loki could actually stab him in the back, Thor broke the Bifrost, knocking them all back. Asuna watched on, horrified and shocked by both of their actions. She was falling back with them, but before they could fall into the abyss, Odin caught Thor by his leg and Thor caught both Loki’s scepter that Loki held, and Asuna’s hand.
Thor smiled at both of them, thankfully he was able to save both of them. “I could have done it, father.” Loki said to Odin. “I could have done it for you, for all of us.” Odin was stone faced, “No Loki.” Loki’s face went completely blank, and he slowly let go of the scepter. “No! Loki!” Thor yelled. “Loki, don’t!” Asuna yelled at him. “No!” Thor yelled as he let go. “No…” Odin let out. Asuna herself was sobbing while she screamed ‘no’. She would have let go if Thor wasn’t holding onto her so tightly, not wanting to let her go.
Before she saw Loki completely disappear she screamed something to him. “I love you!” She saw the tears on Loki’s face as he disappeared.
Odin helped Thor and Asuna up. They went back to the palace.
Later that night, many celebrated the return of Thor and the defeat of Loki for some. Asuna walked up to the queen as soon as Sif walked away. “Do you think…we’ll ever see him again?” Frigga put her hand on Asuna’s arm, “I don’t know. I hope.” Frigga hugged Asuna as she softly cried. “I’m sorry you didn’t get to tell him how you felt.” Asuna looked at her, “I did, I just don’t know if he heard me.” Frigga smiled at her. “I’m sure he did and I hope he holds that in his heart. Wherever he is.”
Asuna thanked her before she followed after Thor. She watched the interaction between Thor and Odin. Then she walked with him to Heimdall. He asked about Jane while Asuna held his hand. “You’ll see her again some day, my friend. At least she isn’t completely lost to you…not like my love.” Thor dropped her hand to put his arm around her shoulders and kissed her head. “Don’t lose hope for Loki. He is a survivor. We may yet see him again one day.” Asuna nodded. “I hope you are right.” With that they walked back to the palace with Thor’s arm around her shoulders and her head on his. They ate and drank until Asuna went back to her room.
Once home she changed and curled up in her bed to cry for the love she lost. Sorta love, since he probably didn’t hear her anyway.
Elsewhere, Loki was being forced to see Asuna and Thor together, being lied to that they were able to finally be together after getting Loki out of the way. After being tortured, he was brainwashed and given the scepter of power to mind control others. He was also given an army to lead, the chitauri, and told to invade Earth to get the tesseract.
Not long after, Loki appeared on Earth through the portal of the tesseract. After being told to put his weapon down he started to attack everyone there. He used the spear to take over Clint Barton’s mind. Along with a few others. He made a few verbal exchanges as Fury was trying to stall for time, for the place to blow up and bury them all. But Loki got the tesseract and left. Loki eventually got away, along with the others whose minds he took over.
Asuna was having a fitful sleep in her bed back on Asgard, clearly having nightmares. She was actually seeing Loki killing people. That wasn’t her Loki though, not the one she grew up knowing. She knew that he tried to kill his brother but that was something else. Something was very wrong with him. She just didn’t know what that could be.
She woke up in a cold sweat with a jolt. She threw the covers off her and went to get something to drink. Trying to clear her head of the dream. She sighed, put her glass on the counter and went back to bed to try and get more sleep. But she was plagued with more dreams of Loki. He is somewhere underground, she thinks, and the spear he is holding has power going inside of him. She could see it, he was being controlled, she knew this for a fact, so that’s what was wrong with him. No this couldn’t be happening. Her love was alive and being controlled through his mind! She tried to call out to him but he couldn’t hear her. He probably wouldn’t even know who she is due to whomever was using him anyway.
She did her best to try and wake up, once she did she went to see Thor. “Thor! I’m sorry to wake you up, but I need to speak with you right away.” Thor sat up quickly and grabbed his hammer, which was right next to him in the bed. “What is it?” He sat up, the covers pooling around his clearly naked waist. “It’s about Loki.” Thor’s eyes, which had been closed, were suddenly wide open. “I’ll be right out.” Asuna turned and left, closing the doors behind her and waiting for Thor to get dressed and make a plan.
The doors opened wide moments later with a now clothed Thor, “Now what about Loki?” She sighed, “He’s alive! I’ve seen him. And he’s being controlled through his mind.” Thor shook his head. “This can not be. Loki would never be so eas ily-” Asuna interrupted him, “I know it’s hard to believe, but I saw it. He is on Midgard. He is killing people because of something else. Something very strong is controlling him. Using him for something.” Thor nodded. “Alright, Asuna, I will try to get to Earth and see what is going on.” Asuna hugged him. “Thank you, my friend. Please don’t hurt him.” Thor shook his head, “I will do what I have to do, Asuna.” She sighed, nodding and left.
She went home. Shaking her head, trying to get the fear out of it. For him. She wanted to scream but wouldn’t let herself. She had to be stronger than that. She was stronger than that. She made up her mind pretty quickly, she was going to Midgard with Thor to try and stop Loki. She changed her clothes, and went to find Thor at the end of the rainbow bridge ready to go find Loki. “I’m coming with you!” Thor shook his head about to protest. “Don’t you dare tell my no. I may be the only one that can help him. Thor, I love your brother, I have for many many years. Please.” Thor sighed, “Fine, Asuna, but if it gets too dangerous for you, please take cover somewhere, anywhere safe.” She nods, and with that they were on their way. The Allfather using his power to send us down.
Thor was holding tightly to Asuna’s waist so as not to lose her. They landed in a woodland area he wasn’t familiar with. “He must be close by.” Asuna nodded.
Loki was in Germany causing trouble. Causing a distraction for Barton to steal something. Making people run in fear.
Asuna and Thor were going through the forest looking for him. “Do you sense him at all?” Asuna shook her head. “Wait, he’s in the sky.” Thor swung his hammer and made lightning, flying up and had them land on a plane. “Get him out, Thor!” Thor nodded and went in and grabbed Loki and flew back out with him. Asuna saw them and jumped. Thor caught her and they landed. Thor let Loki fall on his back.
“Where is the Tesseract?” Thor asked him. “I missed you too, brother.” Loki didn’t look up, so he didn’t see Asuna there. “Do I look to be in a gaming mood?” Thor asked. “You should be thanking me now that you get to be on Earth.” Thor picked him up. “I thought you were dead. We all thought you were dead.” Loki looked into Thor’s eyes. “Did you mourn?” Loki asked. “We all did. Even father-” Loki interrupted him, “Your father. You know my parentage.”
“We grew up together, played together, fought together. Does all of that mean nothing to you?” Loki scoffed, “I remember a shadow. I remember you tossing me into an abyss.” Asuna was shocked, she got into Thor’s mind. ‘Do you see what I mean? His mind has been warped as to believe things were different. Easier to control.’ Asuna told Thor. ‘Yes I believe you.’ Thor thought back to her.
Loki and Thor exchange more banter back and forth. “Who controls you, Loki?” Thor asked but Loki didn’t answer. He was still trying to get a rise out of Thor. “Come home.” Thor told him. “Listen well brother-” But Thor was taken out quickly by someone flying by.
“I’m listening.” Loki said. Asuna got her shot and ran up to Loki who was shocked to see her. His eyes wide, his mouth agape. “Asuna…why are you here?” She shook her head. “I’m not happy with you, Loki. I’m not happy with what I’ve seen you do.” he looked away and she grabbed his hands in hers. “But I still care about you deeply. And I want to help you escape whomever is controlling you.” Loki shook his head. “It’s too late for all that.” He pulled her hands to make her body come close to his, wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her passionately. “I heard what you said. I care about…power.” He said slowly. Asuna nodded. There was nothing she could do to free him, no matter how much she wanted to. He was doing what he needed to, to protect her, because what he truly cared about was her. “Then I’ll just have to help Thor to stop you. My dearest enemy.” Asuna stepped back and Loki nodded his head. He could see the tears forming in her eyes and he hated himself, but he couldn’t let her get hurt in all this. He wanted to let it all play out to plan.
Asuna saw Thor fighting someone and went down after him. “I swear I’ll help you, my love.” She whispered looking slightly back at Loki, who had a sinister smile on his lips now. She went down to try and help Thor. “Asuna, no!” She stopped at Thor’s commanding voice. He was hit by a shield. A moment later, Thor brought his hammer down on the shield and everyone was knocked back. Asuna could feel Loki’s panic. She got knocked back, but she wouldn’t go down easily. They all got up, Thor going over to make sure Asuna was okay. They stopped fighting, grabbed Loki and took him to a place in the sky.
Asuna was with Thor listening to Loki speak to Fury. Thor briefed them on what he knew. Asuna was in a chair trying not to cry. She was trying to be strong. She needed to be. She had to help Loki. She was listening to everything they were saying. “He’s being controlled.” She shot up and told them. “Excuse me.” Asuna sighed, “He is being controlled because of the scepter. I know this for sure. I saw who it was. It is a source in outer space.”
“We’ll try to keep that in mind when he decides to kill more people.” Asuna wanted to scream, her hands started to glow a purple color. “I won’t let anyone hurt him and I won’t let him hurt anyone else.” Fury completely turned to her, “And why are you so determined to save him?” Thor looked at her. “Because I love him. We grew up together. Loki, Thor and I. He talked to me before you captured him. He said things that would hurt me if I didn’t know him better. He is trying to protect me…someone who wants to do what you think he is wouldn’t protect anyone, even me.” All the others didn’t look impressed. “We will stop him by any means necessary. You won’t be getting in our way.” Asuna walked off.
Asuna was wandering around, when she heard a young woman talking to Loki. She stood outside to hear what they were talking about. She could hear Loki trying to hurt her, with his silver tongue. Asuna couldn’t understand why Loki was being so cold. Asuna started to cry. She noticed the woman leave and went in. “How could you? This isn’t like you, Loki. Not my Loki.” Loki was stunned to see her. “Why…? What happened to you? What did…what was done to you to make you this way? Please try to tell me, love.” Asuna stood there waiting for an answer, looking deep into his eyes, she had nothing but love in hers, and she couldn’t see any emotion in his eyes.
“Asuna…” She shook her head and took a step forward, she knew he wasn’t going to answer. “No…I want to believe you, Loki. I want to believe in you, my love.” She turned around to leave. “Asuna! I’m sorry. I truly am. I never wanted to hurt anyone. I didn’t want all of this. But if nothing else I need you to know something before you go.” He watched her turn her head back towards him, but she didn’t turn all the way around. “You have my heart.” Now she turned all the way around. “You have my heart, my love.” Loki smiled, “I do wish I could tell you everything, if nothing else, what I’m doing, the plan, everything will work out how it is meant to. You know how smart I am. Now go, my love.” She nods, “Yes, my dearheart.” She goes to leave.
Suddenly there was an explosion and Asuna was knocked out, she had been moved and fell into a wall hitting her head fairly hard. Loki watched, wishing to do something, but his master would not let him. Thor found her and tried to wake her up but couldn’t. “Loki will pay.” Thor made his way toward Loki’s cell and saw the door opening. Thor went for him but went through Loki and into the cell, Loki closed the door and trapped Thor inside the cell. “Are you ever not going to fall for that?” Thor roared with anger. “You know Asuna has passed out and won’t wake up… And it’s your fault.” Loki for a moment looked shocked and upset, but he knew. He looked over to where she was, and then was about to drop Thor, when Agent Colson came in to stop him, but Loki stabbed him in the back. And then proceeded to drop Thor anyway, not before telling him that Asuna will be alright.
Loki went to his beloved, who was still passed out on the floor, he picked her up in his arms, lovingly and tenderly, and carried her to the jet that awaited him. He sat down in the jet and put her on his lap and held her close to him, kissing her forehead. He didn’t mean for her to get hurt, he hated that she was here to begin with, he only ever wanted to protect her.
Not long after she woke up and noticed she was in a jet, at least that is what she knew it to be. “Where-?” She was interrupted by Loki, “Shh, it will be alright, love.” Loki stroked her hair. “Why?” Asuna asked, looking into his eyes, still trying to see love, or any other emotion in them. “I can’t control anything.” Asuna turned her head, “There has to be a way. This is getting out of hand. You’re hurting so many people, and you’re being…cruel…” Asuna didn’t want to say that, she didn’t want to say that word, she started to cry, Loki watched the tears falling, wiping them away with his index finger, holding her with one arm, and he kissed her cheek tenderly. “I want the sweet man I fell in love with.” Loki looked taken aback for a moment, at the confession again, “I’m right here. I swear, my love.” Asuna shook her head slightly, she really wanted to believe her Loki hadn’t changed. “Not at the moment…well not this moment. Loki, you truly are being completely controlled? I don’t think it’s all that, we both know it.” Loki looked like he was about to get angry but he controlled it better than what he did a year ago. “Fine! Yes!” He got up, setting her down, and went to the other side of the jet.
They were in a silence, headed somewhere Asuna didn’t know. Asuna didn’t even bother to look out the window, she did wonder where they might be headed, but kept her head down. She was trying to think of a plan. She knew she couldn’t leave the jet, it was too high up and moving way too fast.
By mid-day they landed and Loki let her out. “You must stay safe, and I know you will be safe here.” Asuna didn’t want to hear him right now, but she would try her best to stay safe. She went into the building and hide, but kept watch just in case she was needed.
Loki always came into the building to deal with Iron Man. Whom after several minutes falling to the ground and a metal suit going around him. Loki was out of control, throwing him out the window like that just because he wasn’t getting his way. She ran outside to see the portal opening, she saw space, and then aliens coming through. She just stood there staring and trying to think of a way she could help, the hell with what Loki said.
She saw Thor land and start fighting with Loki. She wanted to help Thor, but she didn’t know how without hurting Loki…or maybe she wouldn’t hurt him. She had to think fast because she didn’t want to get in the way either. She saw Thor lift Loki up and drop, that was her chance. She used her magic to hold him there, Thor and Loki both looked at her. “I can’t let Loki keep going.” Loki was stronger and hit her with his magic, not enough to hurt her but to disrupt her hold on him and he rolled off the building, landing on one of the alien’s flying vehicles. Thor comes to Asuna’s aid to make sure she was okay.
Asuna was in shock, just seeing all that had been destroyed, and all because of Loki. She really wanted to believe he could come back from this. She truly didn’t want to, but she was starting to question if this was all just him being mind controlled or not. He was a trickster, not a murderer. She knew that this was from something deeper, this was from him being lied to, from his father keeping his heritage secret. She knew she could get through to him, she had to try. She was determined, by any means necessary.
Loki was thrown into the building, Stark Tower, she ran in, only to see a large green monster come in after Loki. Loki insulted said monster and the monster grabbed his leg and started to beat him into the floor a few times. Loki just laid there defeated after the green monster was done with him. Asuna came over to Loki to see if he was okay. He weakly put his hand up to her cheek. “Go…” Asuna shook her head. “I will save you.” Loki looked away from her. She leaned down and kissed his cheek quickly.
She got up quickly and ran to see outside and saw the Avengers had beaten the alien army and shut the portal down. “Whoo! They did it!” She yelled happily. Before too long the Avengers made their way up into the building to deal with Loki.
She ran back into the building to see Loki crawling to sit on the steps. Before the Avengers could get there she went to him and sat next to him. She put her hands on his cheeks and pulled his lips to hers in a tender, loving kiss. She was letting her magic flow through her, to see if the hold on him was truly broken, and it wasn’t, so she used magic Loki didn’t know she even had to break the hold and heal his mind, and put up some barriers so this didn’t happen again. “Love, why?” Loki asked her. “I would do anything to keep you safe, my love.” She smiled at him and healed his face as well. “You are feeling better now, aren’t you, my love?” All he did was let out a breath and a curt nod. Then he put his head on her shoulder as she held him close.
The Avengers showed up to take ‘care’ of Loki. After all was said and done, Thor, Loki and Asuna were about to head home, along with the tesseract. Asuna was worried about Loki and hoped for the best.
Finally they were home.
Unfortunately, because of what Loki had done he had to pay for his crimes. Asuna knew that this was unfair, but couldn’t speak up about it. She knew that if she did, Loki would be upset with her and she could be punished just as badly as he might, if not maybe more. Loki was placed in chains and walked to the throne room to be judged and punished by Odin. Asuna walked with them, once there she walked up to Frigga and stood with her. “I want to speak with him alone.” Frigga and Asuna left, but Asuna didn’t want to. She wanted to hear what was being said, but Frigga pulled her out to the hall. “He will be fine, my little love.” Asuna hugged Frigga. “It wasn’t all him. I broke the hold, I healed his mind, put up barriers so it won’t happen again.” Frigga nodded, “You did well, my child. Odin won’t kill his son, despite what Loki may think, Odin does love him and won’t kill him.” Asuna nodded. “I love Loki more than anything.” Frigga smiled, “I know. I’ve seen your future. You will be together.” Asuna smiled sadly.
Before they could speak more, Loki was taken by them. “Dungeons.” Was all Loki said, he looked at Asuna sadly. Asuna started to cry, but Frigga comforted her. “It will be alright, my little love, you will see him later, I will make it so. For now come with me, let’s spend time together to ease your heart.” Frigga led her down the hall and to the dining hall, where Thor was with his friends. Thor could tell that Asuna was upset. Asuna and Frigga sat together. Thor got up and sat next to Asuna and hugged her tightly. “I am sorry, little sister.” Asuna hugged him back and started to cry more.
“Since you are staying in the palace, I will talk to Odin to see if he will allow you to see Loki whenever you choose. I feel you may be the only one to truly help him. You love him so deeply. We are but his family, not all families listen to each other, but you two love each other as soulmates.” Asuna nodded, “I will do whatever it takes to help him, mother.”
About a week later, Asuna was finally allowed to go see Loki. She ran down to find his cell and stopped in front of it. Loki didn’t notice her at first. “Loki…” He finally looked up and saw her, jumping up. “What are you doing here?” Asuna smiled at him, “I’ve been allowed to see you, whenever I desire. Are you alright, my love?” Loki shook his head, “I don’t belong in here.” Asuna gave him a look. “My love, you know you do. But you know that your father put you here-” He cut her off, “He is not my father!” He yelled at her, something he had never done before, and he regretted it immediately. “He is your father, Loki. He raised you. Yes he didn’t tell you who you truly were, but he still raised you.” Asuna was cut off after her sentence was finished. “And put me in a cell, Asuna!” This time he wasn’t using anger to yell. “He could have easily just as killed you, Loki!” She yelled back. Loki looked away, knowing she was right. “I didn’t think you and I could fight…” She trailed off. “Asuna…” Loki looked back at her, “I’m sorry, my love.” She nodded, “I’m going to go spend time with your mother, my love. I will be back in a few days.” Loki looked sad at that, he didn’t want to go days without seeing her. “You have my heart, my dearheart” Asuna told him. “You have my heart, my love.” And with that she went back upstairs to spend time with Frigga.
Over the span of a few months, Thor was doing his best to bring peace to all the realms, and was finally home. Asuna was the first to hug him on his return. “Thor, my big brother.” Thor smiled at seeing her and returned the hug. “Little sister, Asuna!” She giggled, and he lifted her up and flew with her, using his hammer, and going to the palace.
“How is Loki, my sister?” Asuna looked down. “He hates being in the cell and doesn’t think he belongs there.” Thor nodded, “Maybe one day he will be the brother I grew up with again. I know you want him out of the cell, maybe one day he will be. Maybe Father will have mercy.” Asuna nodded this time. “I know if anyone can help him, it is you, little sister.” Thor told her. He hugged her tightly and she buried her face into his chest. Thor was truly the best big brother Asuna never had.
Later that night, everyone was celebrating and drinking. Asuna and Thor drank the most, to the point where Asuna was very drunk. Thor kept her close to him, protective of her as a big brother should be. “I want to go to Loki.” Thor looked at her, “Be careful, sister.” Asuna nodded and went down to the dungeons.
She went right to his cell, to see him sleeping. “Loki!” He shot right up, and noted that she was drunk. “Asuna, my love, you are drunk.” She shook her head, “Yes. Because I miss you.” She came right up to the cell. She giggled, Loki was amused. She used her magic to make her way into the cell, Loki was shocked and impressed.
He grabbed her right away and pulled her to him. “My love.” He kissed her passionately, and she gave him all the passion right back. Loki pulled back a little and went for her neck, licking it and leaving a small mark. Asuna moaned softly, Loki making another mark but much, much darker. Asuna let out another moan, and reached her hand down to cup Loki, and play with him gently. “Oh my. I think I like this game, my love.” Loki kisses her lips again, and makes the gesture even more intimate by running his fingers over hers as she plays with him. As she played with him more, she reached up to lick and kiss his neck and nips, soon leaving her own mark on his neck. Loki moaned as she nipped and left a mark on him. Asuna used her magic to make their clothes disappear and pushed him down onto the bed, getting on top of him, lifting herself up, taking him in her hand again and guiding him into her body. Then sliding down all the way, before going up and down in a rhythm. Going faster and faster over the course of mere seconds. She threw her head back and moaned his name. “Oh Loki!” He gasped when she slid down on him and groaned as she moaned his name. Asuna leaned down as she was going up and down on him, pumping his cock with her tight cunt, and licked his nipples, sucking hard. Pumping faster and faster, moaning loudly and throwing her head back once more as she screamed his name as they came together, him releasing his seed heavily inside her.
She collapsed next to him. He held her close and kissed her forehead, and stroked her hair. “My beloved.” He panted. “I am and always will be your, Loki.” He was surprised, but only slightly. She was his and he was hers, now. “I am also your and always will be.”
“You should go, my love. Please so you don’t get into trouble with my father.” She kissed him deeply and summoned her clothes back on and left the cell. Going upstairs, seeing Thor, who helped her to her room.
A few nights later, Asuna went back to see Loki again, and saw he was having a fitful sleep, she went into the cell again. She laid down with him, to comfort him. Not knowing that Loki was having a nightmare of her dying, and it was so real to him. He was crying in his sleep, and he woke up, bolting upright and then noticed that Asuna was next to him. She sat up with him, and he held her tightly, crying openly. She comforted him, “It is alright, my dearheart. I’m right here.” Loki pulled away and kissed her deeply, soon they were making love again. Loki held her, both naked, tightly to him. “You can’t come into my cell anymore, love.” Asuna pulled away, shocked. “I don’t want you to find a permanent stop down here, cause it won’t be with me.” She looked like she wanted to cry and he kissed her cheek, “Hush, love, I’m just trying to keep you safe. And I know I never said it before, but thank you for helping me on Midgard.” She smiled, “You are welcome, my love. And I will do as you ask, no more coming in the cell.” She winked at him and he laughed. “Alright, my love, time for you to go.” She nodded and summoned her clothes again and left the cell. “You have my heart, my Loki.” He nodded, “You have my heart, my Asuna.” And with that she left again, and wouldn’t be going back in the cell ever again.
A few days later, Fifa went and visited Loki in his cell. “I have brought you some more books. I’ve done what I can to make you comfortable.” She told him. “Oh it must be such a burden to be asked about by Thor and Odin.” He leaned on the back of a chair. “You know well it was your own actions that placed you here. Asuna asks about you. I know very well she comes and sees you just about every single night.” Loki tried to ignore her, but he knew what his mother knew everything. “I’m sorry, mother. I love her.” Frigga shook her head, “I know darling. I ignore it.” He moves away from the chair. “My actions… I was merely feeding the lie I was told my whole life. I was born to be a king.” She seemed upset with him. “A king owns up to his mistakes. What about the lives you took on Earth?” He turned away, “A mere handful compared to how many Odin has taken.”
“Your father-” He interrupted her, “He is not my father!” Loki yelled at her. Frigga had hurt in her eyes. “And am I not your mother?” She asked Loki, knowing what the answer would be but hoping he would say something different. She could see the difficulty he had to say his answer. “You are not.” She smiled at him as only a mother would. Loki touched her hand to make her illusion disappear, but Frigga could see the doubt at his statement and the hurt in his eyes.
Asuna was walking around the palace when she noticed a young woman with Thor. She slowly walked over to them, but paused when she saw them kissing. Once the kiss ended, Thor looked over to see Asuna. “Ah, Asuna, come meet Jane!” He grabbed Asuna and pulled her over to meet Jane. He had his arm around Asuna’s shoulders and kissed the top of her head. That clearly seemed to be his greeting for her. “Um…hi.” Asuna said. “Who is this?” Jane asked. “Oh this is Asuna, she is like a sister to me and one day she will be.” Thor smiled, Jane seemed surprised. “How?” Thor laughed, “Whenever she and Loki marry.” Jane seemed more surprised. “You are in love with the villain that destroyed New York?” Asuna looked angry and Thor put his arm around her waist to hold her back. “Do not insult my love. He was under mind control!” Thor moved Asuna completely away from Jane. “It’s okay, little sister. She doesn’t understand.” Jane was watching their interaction.
Asuna got out of Thor’s hold and walked away, “I’m sorry. I have to go.” She went into the palace with tears in her eyes. She started to make her way to the dungeons, making her way to Loki’s cell and he saw tears in her eyes. “My dearheart, what happened?” Asuna whips away her tears, “I just didn’t like what someone said about you and yelled at them.” Loki was only slightly surprised that she would stand up for him and his face softened.
Suddenly they heard a loud bang and prisoners were escaping. “My love!” Asuna moved to get into Loki’s cell for safety, and he held her close. They watched the prisoners start fighting and then noticed Thor and his friends fighting the prisoners. “Love, as soon as they stop fighting you should go.” Asuna shakes her head, “No, Loki.” He shook his head at her, “Fine, as long as you are safe, my dearheart.” Asuna hugs him tightly and kisses him.
Meanwhile, Jane was with Frigga. And Maleikith (WRONG) came for the stone inside of Jane. But Frigga would not let them have it nor her. And Frigga was murdered, Odin holding her, Thor throwing his hammer at the two that had caused it but they got away.
Loki and Asuna had made love yet again, “Why must you keep doing this to me, my dearheart?” Asuna chuckles, “I can’t help that I need you, my love.” Loki chuckled this time. “You should go my love.” Asuna shakes her head, “Not right now. I would be safer here.” Loki holds her closer, “You are right, I won’t have you up there with all the chaos.” Asuna smiles and kiss his neck then nuzzles it, “And for once it wasn’t you that started it.”
They lay there in silence until a guard is heard approaching the cell and Asuna uses an illusion to hide herself. “The queen has been murdered.” Asuna holds in her cry of sadness until the guard is gone, he goes to grab Loki but he gets up and the furniture goes flying, her still on the bed, but she saves herself. “Loki…” He looks at her. His mother was dead, Asuna was the only one left who loved him for who he was. He regretted throwing the furniture. Asuna came over to him, slowly, cautiously. “Loki…” She put out her hand, Loki wanted to do nothing more than smack her hand away, push her away and make her hate him. He couldn’t, he fought every cell in his body to do what he normally would, to push everyone away.
He grabbed her hand instead and pulled her to him. She put one arm around his waist and her other hand in his hair to hold his head to her shoulder as he cried. “I have you, my dearheart. I”m not going anywhere, I promise.” Loki didn’t answer, he didn’t have to. She held him to her, the entire time. “You have my heart, eternally.” He nodded, she knew he meant to say it back but didn’t wish to speak.
Asuna fixed all the furniture and they were on the bed again, holding each other. “You didn’t cry…” Loki told her. “I…I didn’t want to add to your pain, my dearheart.” She says as she finally starts crying, Loki holds her this time. Her face was in his neck as he held her to him so tightly.
Some time passed and it was dark in the cell again. “I want us to get married.” Asuna told him, he was shocked, smiled slightly. “Someday we will. And have children as well.” Asuna smiled. “I’m glad you want to have children.” Asuna smiled and kissed him.
They fell asleep together, but hours later Loki woke up to the horror of seeing his mother die. He shot up and Asuna did as well, putting a hand to his back. She could see his face, he was angry. “My love, don’t let the hate take you. I am here. Here with you.” He looked at her, and calmed down ever so slightly. “Please, do not push me away.” He barely nodded his head, “I’m doing my best.” She put her arms around him. He took comfort in her arms once again.
“I can sense Thor coming.” Loki put an illusion up so that Thor could not see Asuna at all. Then Loki started using his silvertongue to try and make Thor mad, but Thor wasn’t buying it, he knew Loki too well, telling him to drop the illusion, so Loki did. Thor saw Loki sitting on the floor at the wall with Asuna, the furniture completely destroyed in the cell. “Now you see me brother.” Asuna leaned on Loki with her hand in his.
Thor and Loki exchanged words, Thor asking for help, him knowing he couldn’t trust Loki. But it would mean leaving the cell. Thor let Loki and Asuna out of the cell. “Asuna, what were you doing in there with him anyway?” Asuna shook her head, “My job as someone who loves him, comforting him.” Thor laughed, and shook his head. Asuna punched Thor in the shoulder, hard. He rubbed the spot. “Ha, I knew I loved you for a good reason.” Loki pulled her close and kissed her passionately. She kissed him back. They were making their way upstairs.
While walking through the halls, Loki was up to his old tricks, changing into different people, even changing Thor into Sif, and then himself into Captain America. “Oh baby.” Asuna jokes, Loki glares at her. “I’m just kidding. You're my only love.” Loki stops glaring as he is pushed up against a pillar by Thor with his hand over his mouth. “What?” Loki asks. “Guards.” Thor replied. “You could at least give me a weapon. My dagger. Something.” Thor made a move to give him one. “Finally. Some common sense.” But they were handcuffs. “I thought you liked tricks.” They kept moving and were met with Sif and Jane. Jane came up to Loki and would have slapped him if Asuna hadn’t caught her hand. “Touch him and you’ll regret it.” Asuna told her. Asuna looked at Thor who needed to control his woman. “He destroyed New York.” Asuna growled at her, “He was under mind control. This discussion is over.” Jane didn’t seem to care.
“We don’t have time for this, let’s go.” Guards were coming. Sif and the Warriors Three threatened Loki, “Guys, I’ve got him. Please let me handle it.” And with that they were getting on the ship in the palace and taking it out of the palace and into the line of fire. Loki was giving Thor a hard time, Asuna put her arms around Loki’s waist from behind and pulled him to her. “My love…” Loki smirked. Along the way to where Thor only knew where they were going, Loki kept making comments. Asuna shook her head and made sure Jane was alright, not that she cared, the young woman clearly hated Loki.
Suddenly Thor pushed Loki out of the spacecraft. “What the hell?” Thor picked up Jane and told Asuna to come. They jumped off and onto a smaller transportation craft. Fanrel was piloting until they had come trouble. Loki piloted to a way out of Asgard. “Loki!” Thor seemed worried. “If it were easy, everyone would do it.” Loki smiled. “Are you mad?” Thor questioned. “Quite possibly.” Loki’s grin got bigger.
They went through a small opening into a cave, almost too small for the already small aircraft they were in, and went through, ending up in the realm of the dark elves. “Ta-da!” Loki said. They kept going slowly trying to find where it was they needed to go. Thor made sure that Jane was completely fine, while Loki looked at Asuna, “You alright, love?” Asuna nodded at him. Asuna watched as they started to verbally fight and then Thor wanted to attack Loki but didn’t. They calmed down pretty quickly. Asuna went to Loki’s side, “Everything will be alright, my love.” Loki looked at her and kissed the side of her head.
Not too long, Jane woke up, got up and they knew they were where they needed to be. They landed the craft near a cliff and got off. “Alright, you ready?” Thor asked, Jane nodded. “I am.” Loki said, with a smirk, a very mischievous one. Asuna knew her love so well, even without that smirk she knew he was up to something, something not good. But she would trust him, she always would. Thor hesitantly took Loki’s cuffs off… “You still don’t trust me?” Loki asked, already knowing the answer, he knew himself and the things he had done in the past. “Would you?” Thor shot back. “No, I wouldn’t.” Loki manifested a dagger and stabbed Thor and pushed him down the mountainous hill.
“Thor!” Jane yelled, with Asuna following behind her, after Loki jumped down. Loki made it down first, Asuna couldn’t hear what he was saying, but she saw Loki kick Thor in the face. As Loki kept throwing insults at Thor, Thor summoned his hammer, Loki cut off his hand before he could get it. Jane went to Thor, Asuna was still in shock, she never knew Loki would do such a thing. She couldn’t believe it, she wouldn’t. Loki grabbed Jane intending to give her and Thor to the dark elves. (Mal) lifted Jane up and took the darkness out of her. Jane seeing everything that (Mal) intended.
“Loki now!” Asuna was stunned. Loki dropped his power of illusion from Thor who called his hammer. Loki took Jane to Asuna and tried to shield them both while Thor tried to destroy the darkness. But it couldn’t be destroyed and went into (Mal). Thor started fighting the dark elves, while the big guy got a grande and tried to throw it at Jane, Asuna and Loki. Loki pushed the women down and threw the grande back, and was about to be taken into it when Thor saved him. Asuna was feeling all sorts of emotions, fear, sadness, anger, love, just to name a few. Thor and Loki were both fighting the bad guys. After Loki was done killing his bad guys he saw Thor was having trouble with his, Asuna was trying to help Thor with her magic as much as she could. Loki ran over to try to help them, grabbing one of the large swords that was left on the ground and running it through the big bad guy, but the big bad guy turned and pulled Loki to him, impaling him with the same sword.
Asuna screamed in horror, “No!” She started to sob and ran to him. “No no no no no.” Asuna had tears, much sorrow in her eyes, on her face, and knelt down to pick Loki’s head up and put it in her lap. She took his hand in hers, threading their fingers and putting it to her lips and kissing his fingers. She brushed his hair from his face and leaned down to kiss his forehead and then his lips. “No, my love, please don’t leave me. Please do not die.” Loki looked her right in the eyes, and all she saw was pure love for her, and it made her sob more. “I’m so sorry, my love. You will always have my heart, my wife.” And with that Loki…stopped…breathing. Asuna screamed in absolute pure agony, her heart cracked in pain and loss, her sobs louder than before. “I won’t forget you, my love. You have my heart forever. You are my husband.” This seemed to shock Thor but he knew she was only claiming it. “Come we have to go.” Thor pulled her away, and they went into a cave.
Before too long they were on Midgard, “I want to go home…” Asuna told Thor, almost having not one since emotion at all. He pulled her into a tight and comforting hug. “I know but the Bifrost is closed right now. I will get you home. I promise.” He kissed the top of her head and let her go, but didn’t leave her side, he understood she truly loved his brother and wanted to be there for her now.
Meanwhile, unknown to anyone else, Loki got up, turned into a guard and made his way back to Asgard. He went in guise to tell Odin of his death. Odin didn’t seemed bothered by it.
Asuna with Thor went to where Jane was staying to get more into what was going on. After everything was figured out and they had a plan, Thor did what he could to keep Asuna safe.
Asuna was scared and didn’t understand what was going on. Once it was over she ran to Thor to make sure he was alright. “I’m okay.” Asuna nodded. They made their way to a safe area and were taken up in the Bifrost.
Asuna followed Thor and hid while he spoke with Odin. “You can come out. This isn’t a sentencing.” Odin told her. She came and stood next to Thor. Odin could see tears in her eyes. “I do not want to be king. I would rather be a good man than a good king.” Asuna was shocked. “One son wanted the throne too much, the other not enough.” Odin sat down. Thor tried to give him the hammer. “It is yours as long as you are worthy of it.” Thor nodded, “I will try to be.” Odin told Thor how proud he was of him. Asuna walked out with Thor.
They walked down to Heimdall. “You stay safe, okay? I love my love, I don’t want to lose my brother too.” Thor nodded, he pulled her into a hug and kissed the top of her head. “I will be safe. I will come and visit you. We can share stories about Loki.” She nodded, tears still in her eyes, threatening to fall. “Now go home and try to get some rest.” She nodded and watched Thor go then turned and walked home.
Not long after a guard showed up at her door. “Odin has requested your presents.” She sighed. “I just saw him.” She nodded and walked with the guard to the throne room. “What is it, All-Father?” Odin smiled. “Frigga had made chambers for you here in the palace. I think you honor her, you should move into them.” Asuna nodded, “Alright.” Odin looked like he wanted to say more but didn’t. Asuna walked to her home with a guard to pack up all her things and with his help made her way to the palace to the chambers Frigga had made as hers.
Later she was walking around the palace, when she heard whispers. “It’s not right that Odin should let a young woman, unmarried, stay in the palace so close to his chambers. Asuna ignored it. “No she was in love with the prince…although…maybe she would.” Asuna couldn’t ignore that. “Oh yes please keep speaking, but to clear things up. I love Prince Loki and I will never stop loving him even though he is gone!” Asuna turned and went to walk away when she bumped into Odin. “I’m sorry, All-Father. I didn’t know you were behind me.” Odin glared at the women behind her. “Do not smear my son’s name and don’t talk so low about Asuna or Prince Loki ever again.” He put an arm around Asuna’s shoulder and walked her away from the situation.
“I’m sorry they were speaking such things. I couldn’t take them talking like that. I love Loki.” Odin nodded. “You do not speak of him in past tense. Though I wish he had not been killed.” Asuna seemed shocked by his words. “I can’t speak of my love for him in the past tense. I will never stop loving him, All-Father.” He nodded. “I’m not feeling so well. I hope you don’t mind but I think I will go to my chambers and sleep.” Odin nodded. “Sleep well.” With that she walked down the hall to her chambers as Odin went to his.
Once in her chambers she changed and went right to sleep.
Once Odin was in his chambers, he changed to Loki. “Hmm, my love isn’t feeling well. Maybe in the morning, if she still isn’t feeling well, I will suggest she see one of the healers. I don’t want to lose her…even if she doesn’t know I’m here.” Loki changed and went to bed to sleep, hoping his love would be alright by morning.
They both had dreams so real of the past and the future they could have, or rather could have had, depending on which of them you asked.
Asuna woke up crying, and feeling like she was going to throw up. She ran to the bathroom and threw up. She groaned out loud. “By the All-Father, what has gotten into me? Before she knew it she was throwing up again. After she was done she washed her mouth out. She went and changed into something simple, with her comfest shoes. She walked out of her room and made her way to where she and Odin would have breakfast.
Odin was already sitting there, “How are you feeling this morning?” She looked away from the food, she smelled it and ran to the nearest bathroom. Odin raised an eyebrow. He got up and walked to the bathroom that Asuna went into. He patiently waited for her to come out, to be real though since it was actually Loki and he loved Asuna more than anything he wanted to go to her and comfort her and ask her what was going on. Once she did she was surprised to see him there. “I’m guessing you’re not feeling any better.” She shook her head slowly. “ That is the third time this morning that I threw up, and I’m feeling a little dizzy right now.” She started to sink to the floor but Odin caught her. “Guard! Take Asuna to the healers. Now!”
A guard came and carried Asuna to the healers while Odin followed behind. Once there the guard placid her on the healers table. The healer asked her a few questions, like how long she had been sick, and how long she hadn't been feeling good in general. She said for a least two weeks. The healer asked Odin to leave, “I am king, why should I leave?” Loki, as Odin, wanted to know what was going on with the woman he loved. “It’s alright. I am staying in the palace and he has the right to know what is going on with one of his citizens.” The healer shook her head. “Fine, we just want to do at least a blood test since you are staying, All-Father.”
After a few minutes they got the results, “Congratulations, my lady! You are pregnant.” Asuna was in complete shock, and after a few moments of letting the news sink in, she started to cry. “Oh no…” The healer looked at Odin, who was also at a loss and shocked. Not sure if it is because she was pregnant or because of something else entirely. “The father is dead….Prince Loki is the father.” The healer was taken aback. “I must go.” Odin said and left. Asuna not long after left and went to her chambers.
Loki went to his chambers, Odin’s chambers, and used his powers to throw the furniture, much like he did in his cell when he found out his mother was murdered. “She is pregnant! And with my child…” Loki was lost. He was Odin now and didn’t know how to be a father. He didn’t want to be anything like his father, Laufey, who had abandoned him, nor like Odin who kept the truth from him and didn’t seem to actually care about him at all. And how was he supposed to be a father when he was pretending to be Odin… He sighed, maybe it was time to tell Asuna the truth. She needed him and she thought he was dead.
He went to her room and heard her sobbing. He knocked on the door gently. “I’m sorry but I want to be alone right now.” Odin looked around before disappearing from in front of her door to being in the room with her. “What the! I said I wanted to be alone, All-Father. Please understand.” Odin shook his head. “I have something I need to tell you, Asuna.” She sighed, “Please make it quick. I need to rest my body.” Odin again shook his head before he let the illusion drop and there stood Loki. “This isn’t a funny joke!” She yelled. He put a hand over her mouth, “It’s really me, my love. I’m so sorry.” She was crying harder now. Loki pulled her into his embrace, engulfing her small frame with his larger one, kissing the top of her head. “Everything will be alright. We will get through this.” He felt her shake her head, “But how? When your Odin… why are you Odin? And where is he?” Loki looked away, “He is safe. I promise.” She pushed him again, “I didn’t think you could go this far just to be king.” She started to walk away. “I wanted to be king and I found a way to do it.”
“Loki… what happened to you? Is being king all you ever wanted? Nothing else?” Loki looked at her. “Odin made me believe that I would be king-” She cut him off, “That isn’t what I asked. Do you really want to be king, Loki? All the responsibility? And now with a baby on the way…?” She put her hand on her belly. Loki looked down at where her hand rested on her belly. “You don’t understand. I want to be king, Asuna. Thor doesn’t want to be king, he doesn’t want to be here. This is my destiny.” She turned away from him. “And so is your unborn child.” Loki sighed and turned her around, “I will be a father to the baby. You have my heart, Asuna. But I’m not giving up being king. And please don’t make me give it up, my love.” Asuna wanted to cry, but it wasn’t going to change anything. “I do not approve of this at all. I’m not happy with this at all. I don’t want to be a part of this.” Loki turned to leave, she grabbed his hand in hers. “But you have my heart. And you are the father of our baby. Just tell me one thing, Odin is alive and safe.” Loki nodded, “He is on Midgard.” Asuna shook her head, “Not really safe but alright.”
A month later and Asuna was dealing with morning sickness and tiredness. Loki stayed by her side when he could, he almost shirked all his duties to stay close to Asuna while she was sick for the first month, and the next two months. But Asuna told him he had to keep up the appearance. He agreed as long as Asuna was made his advisor and allowed to be by his side at all times during any times he needed to be at meetings. Asuna was trying her best to keep a good head on Loki and make him the good king she knew he could be.
By her second trimester, her boobs were swollen and so was her belly. She was showing a little larger than she should be. Loki was worried now, remembering that the baby would be half Jotun. “I just…” Loki and Asuna were in bed together, they had just made love and he was laying between her legs and giving love to their unborn child. Asuna running her fingers through his long hair. “Voice your fears, my heart.” He sighed, “I know the baby will be half Jotun, and I’m afraid of what he or she will look like.” Asuna keeps brushing her fingers through his hair. “I will love our baby either way, love.” Loki was still worried.
In the last month of Asuna’s pregnancy, she was sleeping when she woke up suddenly, she grabbed Loki by accident. “Darling, what’s wrong? Is the baby coming?” She was breathing evenly. “No, but the baby turned.” Loki smiled, knowing that the baby was getting ready to be born. He had gotten used to the idea of his child being half Jotun. Asuna had to convince him he wasn’t a monster and that she would love their child no matter what. “Go back to sleep, my love.” Asuna lays back down and Loki pulls her to him, back to chest, with a protective arm over her belly, and a hand feeling their baby move inside her. He rubbed circles on her belly and whispered to it, “Come now, my little one, be easy on your mother. She needs to sleep.” Soon the baby settled down and they all fell asleep.
As the months of her pregnancy had progressed, they had told the entire kingdom that the unborn growing in Asuna’s belly was the late Prince Loki’s baby. Odin would spend time with her as the grandfather of the baby, and nobody ever knew that Loki would spend time with her behind closed doors as her love and father of her baby.
When the time came, Loki as Odin, couldn’t be in the healer's rooms to be with Asuna to deliver. But after it was over they let Odin in so he could see his ‘grandchild’. It wasn’t a tough delivery, the labor was the longest part. The delivery was quite fast, and Asuna was a tough woman that didn’t give up. “It is a girl, All-Father.” He smiled and went over to Asuna. “I’m too tired to think of a name for my daughter.” Asuna started to cry and Odin was taken aback. “I wish Loki was here to see his daughter.” Odin understood, well Loki understood, she had to make it seem like she was upset over this. Upset that her daughter’s father wasn’t there to see her. Odin brushed the tiny baby girl’s soft head with his hand, he could see some tufts of black hair already. He also noted the pale blue skin that she had, light ridges… He took a breath and smiled at the baby girl. “I think she will look just like her father.” Odin said, Asuna nodded. “I’ll have a part of him forever with me.” Odin smiled at her.
A few days later, Loki was in Asuna’s room with his daughter in his arms. “You are a wonderful father, my love. I’m glad we had her. And I know it’s been difficult for you with her looking as she does, but I want you to know I love her either way.” Loki looked at Asuna and then kissed his daughter’s head, “Yes, I know. But I love her too. I’ll move past it before too long. I’m glad you had her too.” He walked over to her and kissed her cheek, “And with everything I’ve done… I’m glad you still let me have your heart.” Asuna smiled and kissed his lips softly. “I wouldn’t be a good woman if I didn’t stay by your side. Support you, and tell you when you are doing something wrong.” Loki chuckled at that. “I’m sure I won’t be king for much longer. Thor will come back eventually and figure out it’s me.” While Loki held his daughter and bounced her up and down gently, Asuna kissed her head and ran her hand over it. She began to sing softly. Loki smiled and felt blessed. “So what she we name her?” Asuna smiled. “I was thinking Unn.” Loki smiled at her, “Unn it is, my love.”
A year later, there were rumors that the child was Odin’s since he was found around her very often, but they let everyone know that it was just Odin’s granddaughter. “Loki…” He rolled over in the bed they shared in the last several months. He would go to her room when nobody was looking. “What is it, love?” He sat up and looked over at his daughter’s crib. Getting up and going to her, she was whimpering, picking her up and took her to her mother. “Thank you, my love.” She took the baby and got some of the fruits she had on the nightstand and gave them to her. Asuna smiled and so did Loki.
“My love, your brother hasn’t come back. It has been over a year.” Loki shook his head, “Don’t force me.” He got up, changed into Odin and left the room. Asuna looked down at Unn, “Your daddy has and will always have my heart, my sweet little love, but I wish we were good enough that we were all he needed in life.” Asuna sighed and put Unn back in her crib and rocked her to sleep in it until she drifted off. Asuna went to her bed and slept a little more, she wasn’t very happy at the moment.
Loki heard what she said. He wasn’t mad…he understood honestly. But he was told from a young age that he was meant to be a king. He refused to be a king on Jotunheim, he wanted to be a king on Asgard. He was lied to his entire life. Well that wasn’t entirely true. He wasn’t lied to in a certain sense. He, again, wanted to be king of Asgard as he thought he would have been, not of frost giants that he hated and wanted to kill at one point. Then he thought of his daughter, Unn, and that melted quickly, the hate. And then he thought of Asuna. What did she want from him…? He knew what she wanted, truthfully. To be a family. But it didn’t matter if Thor came back, what would happen? He wouldn’t take the throne. Thor would force him to go take him to Odin and then Loki would be punished again and never see his family again. He shook his head and walked off. There was no way he would give up everything now. Not the throne and not his family…. His beautiful love, his beautiful daughter. This would do for now.
Two years later. Their daughter was growing into a beautiful little girl. Thor still hasn’t come back. Asuna didn’t press ever again. She loved Loki and Unn too much to keep pushing him away. But she wasn’t happy with Loki still, at least not about what he did to Odin. Just to be king… She finally figured out what it was, she was in love with the idea of what Loki used to be. If she truly loved him she would love who he was now. So she spent time with him as Odin and as Loki. Getting to know him much better than before. And she found she really did love Loki as he was. She sighed, “I’m in love with an insane man.” She shook her head. “What mommy?” Asuna looked down at Unn. “Nothing, my little love. Let’s go to dinner.” And with that they went to dinner with Odin.
“My love…I’m sorry.” Loki told her. “For what?” Asuna was confused. They were in bed together and he was holding her after they had just made love. He buried his face into her neck. “For everything. You have my heart and so does our daughter. You’re both enough for me. But you need to understand I don’t want to leave Asgard unprotected. I don’t want to never see you or Unn again.” He pulled her to him tightly, not ever wanting to let her go. He felt her breathe out a sigh as she nodded. She kissed his temple. “You have my heart, Loki.” She could feel his smile on her skin, the side of her neck where his face was buried. “You have my heart, Asuna.”
Two more years later, Loki was lounging about while watching a play of what happened during his death. He was still pretending to be Odin. He understood why Asuna didn’t want to be there. Also she seemed so tired lately. He told her to go to the healer. In the back of his mind…he knew most likely she was pregnant again, but this time it would be an issue. He was dead to everyone. They would come to the conclusion that either Odin had impregnated his son’s love or Loki was alive and pretending to be Odin. He couldn’t have that. He couldn’t have people think she was a whore either, he would get mad…go mad…start hurting people to protect her honor. Which was something he didn’t want. He wanted to keep Asuna and Unn as happy as he could. He loved them, they were his everything.
Loki, as Odin, watched as Asuna walked up to him. “Aye.” Was all she said as she leaned down and then walked behind him. He didn’t curse out loud. He wasn’t unhappy that his love was pregnant with their second child, but he didn’t want to deal with the outcome of others finding out the truth of him.
Asuna looked around, sensing something and saw Thor. She leaned down, but it was too late. Odin spotted Thor. Thor was chatting with Odin until Thor threw his hammer and caught Odin by the back of his neck and forced him in front of him. “Oh no…” Asuna breathed out. The guards looked like they were ready to attack, but as the hammer came back Odin changed into Loki and Asuna ran to his side. Thor caught his hammer before it could hurt either of them. He watched as a little girl went over to Asuna.
“Where is father, Loki?” Loki wouldn’t answer until Thor backed him up to the couch that Loki had been lounging on minutes ago as Odin and put his hammer on his chest. “I know where he is.”
With that, Asuna wasn’t staying away from Loki, they all went to Midgard to get Odin. She thought maybe if he saw his granddaughter he might go easy on Loki. They were dressed in Midgardian clothes, standing outside a building that was being destroyed. Loki had his arm around Asuna while holding Unn’s hand. “I swear I left him right here.” Thor didn’t look pleased at all. “Right here on the sidewalk or right there where the building is being demolished? Great planning.” Thor said. “How was I supposed to know? I can’t see into the future. I’m not a witch.” Asuna giggled, she was a witch, and smiled. “Why do you dress like one?” Asuna and Unn laughed, Loki glared at his love and daughter, playfully of course. “I can’t believe you’re alive. I mourned for you. And you have a daughter.” Loki looked away for a moment, “Actually you’re going to be an uncle again.” Thor looked shocked. “I told Loki just before you found out he was pretending to be Odin.” Some girls came up and asked Thor for a picture. Loki rolled his eyes and Asuna kissed his cheek. “You’re my hero, love.” The girls seemed shocked that Loki has a young woman and a child by his side. Before Loki disappeared into the ground. “Loki!”
Thor picked up the card on the ground and they made their way to the address. Thor carrying Unn since Asuna herself was pregnant and Thor didn’t want her to stress her body out.
They went into the building and were met by a strange man floating in the air. “You stay here, you and your daughter will be safe.” The strange man went away with Thor.
Not long after and quite suddenly they were back down where she was. The strange man was making what looked like a portal. “Wow…”
“Don’t forget your umbrella.” Thor summoned his hammer. “And my brother.” Loki fell to the floor. “I have been falling for thirty minutes.” Asuna rushed to him and helped him up. Loki pushed her back a little as he made his daggers appear and was about to attack when the strange man made the portal that he has made come at them so they were forced to go through it.
Loki fell again and again Asuna helped him up, Unn running to him. Loki picked his daughter up in his arms and held her close. They all looked to see Odin at the cliffside watching the sea. Asuna watched her love and brother go to their father to talk. “Who is this daddy? He looks like you used to when you used your magic.” Unn asked, Loki looked and felt so guilty. “It’s your grandfather, my little love.” Unn was picked up by Odin and he hugged her, she still looked like a Jotun, half Jotun actually. “We have another baby on the way.” Asuna told him as she came to sit beside Loki. Odin could only nod, before he turned to gold dust and went into the wind.
Loki and Thor stood up and watched their father go. Thor looked at Loki, he was pissed. Asuna grabbed her daughter in her arms, worried what Thor might do but knew he would never ever hurt them. Loki was about to try and calm Thor down. “My love, Thor…I sense something…” Loki nodded, he summoned for the Bifrost to be opened. “Go. We will follow you.” Asuna shook her head. “I have a bad feeling…a horrible feeling, my love.” Loki nodded again, “Pack what you can. Hide somewhere safe. Maybe find Heimdall, my love. He will help you and our daughter.” She nodded this time. The Bifrost opened and up Asuna and their daughter went. “I hope they will be safe.” Thor told him, no matter his feelings toward Loki at the moment, Asuna was his sister and Unn his niece, with Asuna being pregnant again he wanted them as safe as Loki did. “I know they will be. Asuna is a fighter, she is just as good as me with magic, if not more. And with our daughter and unborn child she won’t let anything happen at all.” Thor was about to say something else to Loki but a portal showed up.
Once Asuna was back on Asgard she ran with her daughter in her arms to the palace to her room, and packed anything she and her daughter would be. “Come on, my little love, we need to try and find Heimdall. Something terrible is coming to Asgard.” Once she had whatever they needed packed she ran to Loki’s old room to see if there was anything there she needed to pack, which there were a few things, they then left the palace and made their way to the forest, searching for Heimdall.
Eventually, they all found each other, Heimdall was looking for her to make sure she and Unn were safe. “Odin is dead.” Was all Heimdall said. Asuna nodded, “Yes and someone is on their way here, she was released upon his death.” Heimdall nodded this time, and led Asuna and Unn to somewhere they would be safe.
“Heimdall, please let me apologize for Loki’s behavior. I truly tried to change his mind so many different times, but he wouldn’t be persuaded.” He waved the apology away, “I understand it wasn’t your fault. At least you tried, you also kept everything from falling apart as best you could. Trying to keep Loki on the better side of things instead of full chaos.” Once they got to the safe place, Heimdall picked up Unn who wanted to be picked up. “She is the future of Asgard, I will protect her with my life.” Asuna bowed her head in respect. “I’m sure you know I’m pregnant again.” Heimdall nodded.
After a few days and a gathering of a large number of Asgardians, Heimdall turned to the doors. “She’s here.” Asuna was terrified for her life. For her daughter’s life. “Loki…” She whispered and put a hand to her belly. Heimdall helped everyone escape, everyone making their way to the Bifrost.
Once on the rainbow bridge, they noticed the giant wolf, Fenrir (I know that isn’t his name in the MCU), at the end. “Turn back!” Heimdall told them, but the undead soldiers were coming at them from the other end. Asuna noticed a spacecraft was shooting at Fenrir. “Maybe there is hope after all.” She could sense Thor in the palace, he must be fighting Hela.
Fenrir was running at them again and Heimdall was prepared to fight it with his sword. Suddenly a man fell down onto the rainbow bridge. Fenrir almost reached them but a green monster caught it and started to fight the giant wolf. “Hulk…” Asuna was surprised to see him after all these years. She hadn’t seen him since Loki tried to take over all of Midgard.
Suddenly a rock alien saved a few people. “We are gonna get on that spaceship, y’all want to come?” He asked, and out of the mist was a spaceship. “Your savior is here!” Loki announced. “Loki!” Asuna screamed for him, once the spaceship was close enough Loki got off and went to Asuna and Unn. He engulfed them in a warm embrace, burying his face in Asuna’s neck to make sure she was real and there. “You’re both safe and alive.” Asuna smiled, “Yes, my love, all three of us are fine.” Loki nodded, he didn’t want to let her go but he knew he had to. “Get on the spaceship now. I want you to remain safe.” Asuna nodded and took Unn to get on the spaceship.
Loki started to fight the army of the undead, he truly had something to fight for. He wanted his beloved safe, his daughter and unborn child safe as well. He wanted nothing more than to protect his family. He let that hit him, he had his own family to protect and fight for. He never thought he would have a family. But now wasn’t the time to dwell on it, he had to go fight. His last thought was that it was truly time for him to change for the better. He was completely in love, love for Asuna and his family. He would be better for Asuna, for his family.
While on the spaceship, Asuna could hear all the fighting going on outside and held her daughter safely to her. Suddenly she felt the spaceship move like it was leaving. She wanted to cry… She wanted…no needed Loki, but she knew more than anything no matter what, he would want her and their children to be safe. But suddenly the spaceship stopped. Asuna fell to her knees, she didn’t know what was going on, she was on a different part of the ship than the rest. But she heard something going on, more fighting.
As they were moving, Asuna found a window and saw what was going on. But she didn’t see Loki anywhere. She watched as Hulk picked up Thor and Valkyrie. She saw Hela fighting Surtur. They all saw the fall of Asgard, but never saw Loki. Asuna almost started to cry when Loki found her, ran to her and hugged her and their daughter tightly to him. “I’m alive, my love.” Asuna was so happy she cried anyway. “Come, we must go to the others. Well you need to. I have to find my brother.” Loki left, while Asuna and Unn went to the others. She went to Heimdall, “Thank you.” He bowed his head.
Not long after Thor was walking through the crowd to sit on a seat that would, to anyone, look like a throne. Loki moved to stand close and Asuna went to Loki. He put his arm around her waist. “So where to?” Loki asked Thor. “Earth.”
Later that night, she was with Thor and Loki, while Unn slept, listening to them talk. “Do you really think it’s a good idea for me to go back to Earth?” They all laughed. Asuna grabbed his hand, “It will be fine, my love. Maybe we can finally get married.” At that Loki went a bit pale and Thor laughed until he went pale as well. A dark shadow going over them. “What is that?” Asuna asked.
Before anyone could do anything the spaceship was blasted. Asuna trying to make a run for Unn and Loki trying to shield them both. Asuna took Unn and hid, while Loki and Thor had to deal with the alien force that just blasted the spaceship they were on.
Loki knew who this was. “Give me the tesseract. Or your brother’s life.” The big dumb purple asshole said. He held his hand with a gauntlet that had a purple stone in it. “Kill him.” Asuna was about to run out but she knew she couldn’t. She was pregnant and she couldn’t risk their baby’s life. Loki didn’t let it last for long, the pain that the big purple asshole was putting Thor through. “Alright, stop!” Loki yelled. “We don’t have the tesseract. It was destroyed on Asgard.” Thor told the big purple asshole.
Loki made the tesseract appear in his hand. “You really are the worst, brother.” The big purple asshole made a comment. “For one thing, I’m not Asgardian and for another we have a Hulk.” Hulk came out of nowhere and started fighting the big purple asshole. Loki grabbed Thor and moved him.
Thor grabbed a pipe and hit the big purple asshole with it, but he was put in a metal hold. Heimdall sent Hulk to Earth. Before the Bifrost closed, Loki grabbed Asuna and Unn and pushed them into it. “No!” Asuna screamed trying to reach for Loki but it was too late. She was going to Midgard, one arm around her daughter holding her as close as possible.
Big purple asshole went over to Heimdall and killed him. Thor yelled, “No!” As well, but more of Heimdall than his sister getting away to safety, he wanted her and his niece and the unborn baby to be as safe as they could be, just like Loki. “You’re going to die for that.” Thor threatened before a metal muzzle was put on him.
The big purple asshole told his followers to got to Earth to get the other two stones he needed. Loki came out of hiding and offered to be a guide, trying to save his own life, but also trying to get to Midgard to his family. “Almight Thanos…I, Loki, prince of Asgard…Odinson…the rightful king of Jotunheim…God of Mischief…do hereby pledge to you…my undying fidelity.” Loki said just before he tried to plunge his dagger into the big purple asshole’s throat but Loki was stopped by the power of one of the stones. “Undying?” You should have chosen your words more carefully.” The big purple asshole takes Loki by the throat and strangles him to death. “You will never…be..a…god…” Loki manages to get out before he was killed. “No coming back this time.” Thor had clarity at that moment that he was the one that was controlling Loki the entire time.
The big purple asshole threw Loni’s body down in front of Thor. The metal holding him was removed and he crawled to Loki’s body. “I’ll find a way to Midgard, brother. I’ll take care of Asuna and your children. I swear.” Thor started to get up when, “That’s very sweet of you brother.” Thor stood up so fast and turned to see Loki. “I perfected it as much as I could just in case. I don’t plan on dying on my family. I want to marry Asuna and see my child be born, and watch both of my children grow up.” Thor hugged Loki, just before the spaceship blew up. Before too long they landed on another spaceship.
In the Bifrost, Asuna had no idea where she was going, just that Hulk was ahead of her. She held Unn tightly to her, as Hulk crashed through a building’s roof and landed in said building and Asuna right after. She tried to land gracefully, floating down and then to the floor in front of the stairs that Hulk had landed. She recognized where she was. She had been there before. She suddenly saw the man she had met before. “Strange.” He stood up completely, he had crouched down when Hulk busted through the roof and landed in the floor, and looked in Asuna’s direction. “Ms. Asuna.” She started to cry. “Why are you here?” She shook her head, “Heimdall used the Bifrost to send Hulk here and Loki pushed me and our daughter in too. There is an alien with unlimited power making his way here.” She told him.
Later she was with Tony and Bruce while getting a history lesson on the stones. She shook her head. “Listen, I want to help you, but I have to protect my daughter and my unborn child.” Tony looked stunned, “Hold on, you bred with Loki? Twice?” Asuna glared at him. “For all I know my beloved is dead. So if it is of any concern, I want to leave. I want to go to where Odin was, Strange.” Strange nodded, he made the portal and sent Asuna and her daughter through.
Once in Norway, she was by a cliff and knelt down. Her daughter doing the same thing. “I pray that your father will be alright.” Asuna really hoped for the best. She couldn’t afford to stress because she didn’t want to lose the baby. She sighed, “This is our home now, my little love.” Unn nodded at her mother, “It will be okay, mammy.” Asuna smiled. She loved how much her daughter looked like Loki. She put a hand on her barely yet visible belly, “I hope I have a boy. I want him to look just like your father. In every single way. Blue or not.” She laughed at Unn’s confusion. “Well, my little love, you are half Asgardian, half Jotun. You are a light blue because of your Jotun blood, you got that from your daddy. I don’t know much about Jotuns, I’m pretty sure your daddy doesn’t know much either since he was raised as a prince in the palace.” Honestly all she wanted to do was cry. She didn’t know if she had lost Loki or not, and she knew she may never know.
“Alright, my little love, let’s head to the woods, and make us a home.” Unn nodded and they were making their way to the nearest forest to make a house. She made a beautiful cabin with the help of her magic and no it didn’t stress her body at all, the baby is perfectly fine.
A few days later in the middle of a battle in Wakanda, Thor showed up with Groot, Rocket and Loki. White they were fighting Loki was trying to keep his mind on the battle. He knew he shouldn’t but he asked some of the Avengers if they knew where Asuna was. They all glared at him, but said they hadn’t seen her. He knew the reason for the glares and hoped to change that in some way sometime. “Do not worry, brother, we will find her. I promise. She is alright, I just know it.” Thor told him, knowing it was hard for Loki to focus when all he wanted was Asuna and his family. Thor himself wanted to see that his sister was alright. It was Asuna alone that he stayed here, so that he could make the whole universe safe for her and their children.
Meanwhile in a forest in Norway, Asuna was teaching her daughter how to use magic. Not too high a level of magic, Unn was just a beginner after all, and Asuna didn’t want to stress her body out with much more advanced spells. She was still mourning over Loki. “That’s very good, my little love.” She smiled at her daughter, so proud that she had the ability to use magic, much like herself and Loki.
Meanwhile, Loki found out the big purple asshole was there and did what he could to find Asuna. The only place he could think of was Norway. He made his way there to find his family.
Thor went after the big purple asshole and put his ax hammer in his chest. “You should have gone for the head.” The big purple asshole snapped his fingers and was gone.
Slowly people started to disappear.
Finally Loki found his beloved and Unn…but their daughter started to disappear into dust. “NO!” Asuna screamed out. Loki tried to grab Unn before she was completely gone. “He will pay with his life.” Loki turned to Asuna who was so pale. “Asuna, my love, no stress… I will get her back.” Loki pulled Asuna to him in a tight embrace, as she sobbed her heart out. “Shh, my love, everything will be fine. But you can’t let anything stress you out, think of our unborn child, please, my love.” He rubbed her back to comfort her as best he could. “Thor and I will get her back, I swear it.” Asuna nodded. Loki picked her up and took her into the cabin, that he was impressed with knowing that Asuna used magic to build it and there were spells on the inside to make it bigger than it looked on the outside. He put her down on the couch in the living room and held her. After a few moments he pulled her into his lap and held her as tightly as he could, hoping she didn’t disappear as well, nor their unborn baby. He kissed the side of her temple and let her keep crying. “I want to tell you one thing, I know she isn’t dead, my love. That I can feel.” Asuna pulled away a little, “You are absolutely sure?” Loki nodded, “Yes my love. I would know.” That alone comforted Asuna greatly, she put a hand to her belly and Loki did the same. “You still feel the baby?” Loki asked. “Yes, I do. I am still pregnant.” Loki kissed her lips tenderly. “Good.”
A few days later, Asuna was put on bed rest by Loki because he didn’t want her to keep stressing out and lose their unborn baby. Thor came to their home to find out his niece was snapped away like many others. “I won’t rest until I get her back. Loki, you are to stay here with Asuna. You can’t leave her while she is pregnant right now. She will stress about you and could put herself in danger.” Loki wanted to protest, it was his daughter Thor would be going after to try and get back, but Thor had a point. He needed to stay with Asuna right now. Keep her safe and be there for her. “Fine. But I want updates.” Thor nodded, “Of course.” With that, and a goodbye and a promise to Asuna he was on his way to try and get Unn back, and the rest of the 50% that was snapped away.
Within a few days, they did get an update from Thor, the big purple asshole was killed but Thor himself cutting off his head…sadly the asshole had used the stones to get rid of the stones. Asuna was absolutely depressed for days. Loki did his best to keep her calm and stress free. He comforted her as best he could, telling her their daughter was still alive and that she would come back to them. Their family would be whole again.
Three months later, when Asuna was five and a half months pregnant, she was still upset but she was trying to keep her mind on Loki and the baby. Loki was laying in bed with her and talking to the baby in her belly and rubbing and kissing her belly as well. “I love you little one. You and your mama. I’m going to keep you safe forever.” Asuna noticed that Loki looked like he was about to cry. He was always so strong for her. She ran her fingers through his hair, “You can cry, my love. I know you need to grieve too. Please, my love, cry.” And he did, he held her baby bump and cried so much as she comforted him this time by brushing her hand over his hair. “I’ve been…” He started and then looked up at her, “I’ve been thinking that we hold off on the wedding until our daughter is back, and everyone we love can be there.” Asuna nodded.
Well a few more months later, they had a baby boy. He also came out blue like his big sister, and a darker blue then she had been. Asuna smiled down at him. Loki hadn’t been in the room when his daughter was born but he was for his son. He hadn’t seen his daughter birthed, and it was a different feeling seeing his son birthed and come out blue like his Jotun form. He took in a deep breath. He loved both his children, more than anything, but it was hard to see them in their Jotun forms. “My love, it is perfectly fine.” Asuna noticed Loki’s face. She shook his head, “What should we name him?” Asuna thought for a moment, “Should we name him after your father?” Loki shook his head, “I don’t think that would be best. We both know I wasn’t much of a good son, especially in the last few years. All the horrible things I did..to Odin and the rest of my family…” Asuna knew he was thinking of his mother, she grabbed his hand weakly while she held their son. “Shh, my love. It’s okay.”
Over the next five years, Asuna mourned the loss of Unn, on the anniversary of the snap. She usually laid in bed all day and didn’t leave it. Loki took the day to take care of their son, Destin. He let his love be selfish, he knew the pain she was going through. He mourned in his own way, but he knew that she had carried Unn and that was a bond he didn’t have with his daughter. He knew that he didn’t have as much time as he had wanted with Unn either. And when his baby girl came back he would never leave her alone.
Asuna and Loki would tell Destin stories about his big sister, so he would know all about her and she would live in his heart. They would use their magic to project scenes for him to watch or put pictures in his head to see what his big sister looked like. He was a very happy baby to a happy child.
Everyone lived their lives as best as they could. Loki came into Asuna and his bedroom. “My love…The Avengers are gonna try and get everyone back.” He saw her nod her head from under the covers. “Promise me that when they do, we’ll get married and have another baby.” Loki smiled and came to sit on the bed with their son running into the room and putting his head under the covers. Loki laughed again when he saw Asuna’s arms come out from under the covers and grab their son and pull him under the covers with her. “Yes, we will, my love. I promise. I just want you to be so happy. You have my heart.” Asuna smiled under the covers though Loki could not see it. “Thank you, my love. You have my heart. This is the most hope I have had in the last five years.”
Within those five years, Thor had come to visit as much as he could. At least once a month. He wanted to see his nephew and make sure his brother and sister were okay. He still cared about his brother and family. And he wanted to make sure that Asuna was happy. Thor was the one that told Loki about the attempt they were going to make to get everyone back. Thor didn’t tell Loki more than that on his latest visit, he had to go, he had to right the wrong he made. But nobody blamed him, not even Asuna.
“I’m so worried about him. I didn’t know he was in such bad condition.” Asuna told Loki, who shook his head. “Neither did I. I’m surprised…I didn’t know that Asgardians could get fat.” Asuna laughed. This conversation happening because Thor hadn’t been around in the last few months. “Be nice to your brother. And don’t insult me.” Loki pulled her into a hug, “I wasn’t insulting you, my love.” He leaned down and kissed her. “I can’t wait to have her back. I want our daughter in my arms more than anything. Are you excited, sweetie?” Destin nodded his head. He had never truly met his sister other than the pictures his parents had shown him in his head and projected stories. “You could have gone with them, my love. I would have been fine staying here with our son waiting for our daughter to return.” Loki shook his head, “I want to be right here with you. Besides who knows what they may face in the past. I know I’ll be in one of those. I know for sure that some of them have to go back to when I was first captured and that wouldn’t help. Another they have to go to Asgard where I am in a cell. I wouldn’t be of any help.” Asuna nodded, remembering all those times very well. “I remember. The day the Avengers defeated you. Us…in your cell.” Loki paled for a moment and looked away, then looked back at her. They got up and Loki put his arms around Asuna’s waist as they walked to the kitchen. They needed to make dinner.
Thor was on a call with Loki letting him know that everyone but Nat had come back. And that they were putting the stones on something to bring everyone back. Loki told Asuna and she was crying with happiness. “I hope it works. Come let’s wait outside where out daughter disappeared.” Loki nodded and went out with Asuna and their son.
They waited and before too long their daughter showed up. She ran to her parents. “My little love!” Asuna hugged her tightly, Loki hugged Asuna and their son while hugging their daughter. “I’m so happy you’re home.” Their daughter was crying, “Mammy! Daddy!”
They introduced their daughter to her little brother, who was the same age as her. They looked like they could be twins. Loki brushed his hand through his daughter’s hair, “I’m so happy to have you home, my little princess.” She smiled from her spot in her father’s lap. “Me too. It was scary. I was lost and I didn’t know what was going on. And I cried a lot because I didn’t have you and mammy. I’m sorry, daddy, that I wasn’t brave enough.” Loki shook his head and hugged his daughter in a tight embrace, not wanting to let her go, wanting to make sure she would never disappear like that again, and if so he would go with her. “You did perfectly fine, my little princess, I love you.” Unn had the biggest smile on her face. “I love you too, daddy.” She got off her father’s lap, much to his displeasure, and took her brother’s hand, going outside to play. Asuna watching them through the window.
“My love, she isn’t going anywhere again. She needs to spend time with her brother.” Loki nodded, “I know you are right, but the pain we both felt with her disappearing and being gone for five years…I can’t. I can’t have you go through that again and I can’t myself.” Asuna nodded at him and came to sit on his lap. “I know but I have faith.” Loki wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her passionately, and she smiled into the kiss, returning it with all the passionate love she had for him.
Suddenly a portal opened up and Strange came through. “We could really use your help. Your children will be safe.” Asuna was a little hesitant since since she just got her daughter back, she didn't want to leave Unn or Destin alone, but nodded. “Kids! We’ll be back. Behave and stay in the house!” They went through the portal when Unn and Destin came into the house where they were protected.
“This is weird.” Loki and Asuna stood in a ready to kick ass stance and were ready to fight with all the magic they needed. Anything to protect their children and each other. Soon everyone was running towards the target, which was an army of aliens that was commanded by the big purple asshole. “Do me a favor, my love, and do not die again!” They were both using their magic to take out some aliens here and there, helping others where needed. Asuna was really taking in all of the insanity going on. Wanda went after the big purple asshole herself. Suddenly a woman with powerful light around her took out the big purple asshole’s spaceship.
Everyone was still trying to keep the gauntlet away from the big purple asshole. Ironman went after him. The big purple asshole snapped his fingers and nothing happened because Tony had gotten the stones. “I…am…Ironman.” And with that Tony snapped his fingers and the big purple asshole and his army turned to dust disappearing.
Tony looked so pale. Pepper went to him. “We’re gonna be okay. You can rest now.” Pepper cried as Tony died, along with many others that were there. They knelt to the ground in honor of Tony, bowing their heads. Including Asuna and even Loki, Asuna took Loki’s hand, knowing full well that even though that Loki and Tony never had a good moment, Loki would never have wanted Tony to die. The man had a daughter, Loki would be devastated if he ended up dying and leaving his son and daughter. Once people started going home, Asuna went to Pepper, “If you need anything at all, please let us know. I know Loki wasn’t kind to Tony but he wouldn’t have wanted him to pass, not while he has a little girl.” Pepper nodded, Asuna had tears in her eyes and she pulled Pepper into a hug, Pepper hugging her back.
Everyone went home to be with their loved ones, after five years of being away from them. Loki and Asuna went to see their kids and hugged them tightly. Not wanting to let them go. Loki then hugged Asuna tightly and kissed her temple. “I never want to lose you. I’ll be the man you deserve, my love.” Asuna kissed Loki passionately. “You have my heart, my love.” Loki smiled, “You have my heart, my queen.” Asuna laughed and smiled, kissing her love again.
A few days later, dressed in all black, Asuna, Loki, Unn and Destin, all went to Tony’s funeral. Most didn’t understand why Loki was even there but didn’t say out loud their thoughts. Everyone was there who survived. Even the Guardians of the Galaxy, what was left of them. Loki and Asuna kept the kids close and held their hands. Loki kissed Asuna’s temple. He truly didn’t want to lose her. Honestly, the real reason that Loki was here, without Tony and the other Avengers, he wouldn’t have Asuna now, and he knew that. They let him live to serve his punishment in Asgard, and that led to all the events with her. He knew he wasn’t the best man for many years there, but he knew the truth. Tony helped him get the love he always wanted, his best friend. So he’d pay his respects and behave. He knew he never wanted to lose Asuna this way, ever, nor her him.
They went home with Thor, only to find out Thor was leaving. “Brother.” Thor said. “I don’t want to rule…I just want to be happy with my family.” Thor nodded. Valkyrie was named ‘queen’. Asuna hugged Thor, “You had better check in! We are going to be getting married soon and hopefully growing our family soon too.” Thor did his usual greeting, hugging her and kissing her head. “I look forward to it, little sister.” He smiled and said goodbye to Loki and left on a spaceship with the Guardians.
Loki and Asuna walked with their kids to their home. It was getting late and they put the kids to bed. Asuna sighed, “I’m glad the world was saved. Happy everyone is back. But sad for Pepper.” She leaned on Loki, who wrapped an arm around her.” Me too. I can’t live without you and our children.” Asuna smiled at him, as he wrapped the other arm around her. “You have my heart, Loki, for always and eternity.” Loki smiled down at her. “You have my heart, Asuna, forever and eternity.” He kissed her so deeply. She returned the kiss. They went to their bedroom and made love.
After a year of getting the family in a better place, Loki and Asuna were finally getting married. They married in the woods just outside of their home. Their daughter and son by their side the entire time. Then they had a small party after with a few close friends, dancing and food. Asuna was nothing but smiles, Loki, she could see in his eyes he was the happiest man alive, but he wasn’t without his own smiles. They didn’t bother to go on a honeymoon since they had their children to look after.
A few days later, Asuna got the footage back of the wedding in a movie style and sent it to anyone who wanted to come but couldn’t , including to Thor on the spaceship he was on. He was happy to see the video. He hoped for more nieces and nephews in the future. He was happy for his brother. He was happy and that’s all Thor cared about for his brother. Adora was a much paler blue then her older siblings, had her mother’s hair but her father’s eyes.
Around the time their children were turning 7, they found out that Asuna was pregnant again. She would have another little girl, they named Adora, a little honor to her uncle Thor.
For a long time they were happy, they would go running through the flowers in spring, to the beach in the summer, watch the leaves change in fall and stay warm and cozy at home in winter. Asuna and Loki couldn’t be any happier with their three children.
Until one day another Loki showed up, dressed like the Loki from the 2012 Battle of New York holding the tesseract. “Well well well, Asuna. You are as beautiful as ever.” Asuna’s Loki came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. “Do the right thing, and you’ll have this too. Asuna is my wife and we have three beautiful children.” 2012 Loki let out a sigh and disappeared via tesseract. “Do you think he will do the right thing?” Asuna asked her husband. “I’m not sure my beautiful wife. Maybe he will, maybe he won’t. For now you and our children are my focus. I am happy.”
And he truly was, they both were.
They would see Thor again. Let him see Unn, Destin, and Adora. They would spend time as a family. Thor would go on his way for a long period of time but come back later with an adopted alien girl he saved. A big happy family.
A few years later, when their kids were close to teenagers, Asuna got pregnant again. She missed having a baby, this time it was a boy, named Leir. Loki was happy, like he never thought he ever would be. They were all so happy and lived happily ever after.
The End!
