Hey kid, look at me.

I want you to T-pose. Turn your right thumb up and your left thumb doen and look at your right thumb. Move your arms up and down a bit until you feel a nerve running from your armpit to your palm. Now turn your right thumb down and your left thumb up, and look at your left thumb. Keep your chest facing forward and your shoulders back. Move your arms again until you feel that nerve again. Keep alternating between these two for a minute, or look at each thumb thirty times each.

Now sit down. Put your left hand firmly under your left buttock, palm down. Keep your shoulders back and put your right hand over the crown of your head, very gently pulling it to the right. Do this for thirty seconds, then do it again but with your right hand under your right buttock.

These are stretches for the nerves in your arms, and are very good for people who sit behind a computer a lot, or fibre artists, or you name it. Do them daily. They will hurt in the beginning, but keep doing them, even after the pain has gone, or it will return and you'll have to start all over.

#i had some nerve pain in my hands #and it turned out the nerves in my arms were too short #so i went to a physical therapist #she prescribed me these #i did them twice a day at first #because i wanted them to work as much as possible as fast as possible #and they do work #i still do the stretches #but that pain in my hands is mostly gone #crochet #knitting #stretches #im not sure if its for carpal tunnel though #but u can still try them #fiber arts #physical therapy #good luck!

Katniss is such an unreliable narrator. She says "Then something unexpected happens. At least, I don't expect it because I don't think of District 12 as a place that cares about me" girl you deliver strawberries to the Mayor, you hunt and trade for the district, when you fell at Prim being chosen someone caught you, when you went to Prim people parted for you, when you volunteered EVERYONE stopped. Idk how to tell you but I think you're a pillar of the community.

Peeta buring the bread and tossing some to her then taking a beating from his mom is a HUGE thing in the books.#he used his resources to help her like you all said someone should.#district 12 DID (rip) care about Katniss before the hunger games. why do you think she was allowed to hunt? or how her trades were good #these are the little ways 12 can shows Katniss they love her. but again Katniss doesn't see this and YES its because she had ptsd before the #hunger games as well. i swear some of you make it seem like d12 was all living a life of luxury and glaring down at Katniss.#other things that show Katniss is in hight standing with at least her people of d12 is her dad was known enough through d12 for peeta dad to #comment on his singing along with his commenting on her mom. also her mom is a healer in the community. yeah her parents arnt the top but #of d12 but they are/were definitely high staning in the Seam.

“Normal” test results are not the relief people think they are. When you wake up in pain and continue to be in pain for hours every day and your tests come back normal you don’t stop being in pain.

#chronic pain #I guess #cripplepunk #crip punk #<— correct me if that’s overstepping #what do I tag this with #I obviously didn’t get a diagnosis #personal but I’m also really scared of needles #and having to go through the fear and pain and crying and screaming #for nothing #doesn’t feel good #people tell me it’s not “nothing #but I know exactly what I did before the tests #which is nothing!!#and I didn’t have to go through that pain for that!!!#also å few months ago I genuinely thought it was completely normal #later I realised that spending hours each morning warming up my hands to feel usable might be more pain and stiffness than other people #experienced #I genuinely didn’t expect all of my friends to say they didn’t feel ANY pain at all #and now I’m just hyper aware of how not normal this is #and I’m still in pain #and now I’m not gonna get any help other than a “try heat therapy from the doctor #which is what I was already doing #like no im not crying cause I’m not sick #it would be great if I wasn’t sick #but clearly something’s wrong

#fascinating stuff. let’s see if i (person with the worst executive dysfunction when it comes to doing laundry) remember it #i literally have this issue where i’ll let dirty clothes pile up in the laundry basket for an entire month #like it takes me that long to get around to it #and then- who would’ve thought- i find that i don’t have anything good to wear. strange!#finally did it last night and i’m like ohhh that was so difficult but the payoff finally #augh #peach rambles #hall of fame i guess #shut up about socks. idc.#this was a fun positivity post of sorts it’s about overcoming executive dysfunction #derailing into jokes about losing socks is. it’s not horrible but just boring and annoying #it was supposed to be celebration!! and encouragement!!!

I like the look and the feel of this method a lot.#In case anyone out there was wondering what the original doodle the Cowboy Wizard Jousting comic was - it was this!#I had indended it to stay a sketchbook doodle but I kept thinking about it - and figured 'why not also use it to do an art experiment?'#The funny thing about using existing characters for this is that this isn't even that far off from what they actually are.#The original pitch for the setting of FFS was 'Cowboy Exorcists'. Which sort of just makes them Cowboy Wizards in a way.#Design wise all I really did here was give them sillier hats.#Fitch isn't boy enough for the boy to be more than a carry over from 'cowboy'#But our Nameless Nobody? Yeah. They earned that Coward Badge good and true.#I have a few more doodles from this (AU? I guess?) That I may post if I'm low energy this week.#I missed drawing these little fellas. I should budget my art time to draw them more often...

#my art #jjk #jujutsu kaisen #fushiguro megumi #jjk fanart #megumi fushiguro #i LOVE trying to 1:1 art styles it's such a fun challenge #and it appeals to me bc i love deception and lying for sport and trying 2 mold all aspects of myself in2 something else #trying to draw like gege felt like trying 2 forge someone's signature and trying 2 draw like the anime felt like going against all instinct #theres NO midtones in the anime shading i was like. is this it. surely this cant b All the shadows i am allowed #cell shading without blended areas feels so wrong 2 me #and the shape of his hair.....he looks so silly......why does he look like that.....#i was fighting the urge to 'fix' it w every bone in my body #rly opened my eyes to just how many favours i do him in my art style #i will happily bear the burden of being megumi's hairbrush good god he needs it #it's not so egregious in gege's style bc it's all so blocky and angular everywhere + the b/w balances out w negative space #w trying 2 replicate gege's style i think my main challenge was finding a good brush dupe to mimic his crosshatching #my current render style is all over the place tbh im not even sure i'm super happy with my own which is kinda embarrassing #i think im in an in between phase that's neither smooth nor rough so i try to lean in2 the messiness to make it look intentional #instead of confused #but overall i think i did rly well in that i like these all ok and i had fun smile :)#maybe ill do th other first years

I really love the way they have written Sally and Percy’s relationship in the show. Sally being the mom of a neurodivergent kid and feeling like shes constantly failing. Her being isolated because she doesnt have anyone to talk to about this as a single parent. And she makes mistakes, she feels human. Then we have Percy feeling like a burden to his parent. He cant understand why none of his parents want him around even though its for his wellbeing. It’s so heartbreaking but so real.
