this is not the exact one I watched but I saw one of these "dish scape" things at someone's house who actually has TV (like they pay for dish/cable instead of just watching stuff online) and I think they're meant to be relaxing atmospheric stuff that you mostly ignore, but I sat there for 35 minutes watching absolutely engrossed.. further proof that I genuinely think my brain is incapable of experiencing boredom lol..

about the dvd: they only replace the audio of it with the instrumental. the video stays the same, not removed. if they didn't change it or censor it somehow, there wouldn't be a dvd at all, because it would get rated and therefore isn't possible to be sold everywhere. It's all because of Korean rules with rating stuff, this happened to Duality too (there's no physical ver bc it takes too long to fix the Rated licensee and whatever)

Thats such a weird thing for sk to still be so strict abt considering they went easy on wardrobe choices (i think? Here are both my pieces for the @bdubszine !!!!! Such a great opportunity to run with it and just have fun with detail work.

I am in love with sungod bdubs and very proud of this piece with the improv class^^

Down below is some in depth talk for the first piece with bdubs and all his clocks :D

The one on his chest is a regular minecraft clock - he always carries one in his offhand. In the background his his big tower from his "building with bdubs" series. He is wearing his moss cloak. On his wirst: A clock with a horse: he loves horses. also it actually is inspired by the horse-mountain he build in season 9 of hermitcraft A purple clock with ears: a purple panda clock. He joined one mcc (minecraft championship) and one it first try on the team called purple pandas) A tnt block-clock: Season 7 of hermitcraft he had, alongside impulse and tango, a company called "the boomers" who would explode stuff with tnt for diamonds - bdubs stick was he would die in every blow up they do (there are compilations)

in his jacket: The clock looking like a ring: reference to double life. He was soul-bonded to impulse and they lowkey roleplayed as a married couple and impulse gifted him a clock as a sign or marriage. therefore it looks like a ring. it also has "i" pointers because impulse always puts "i"s on his stuff A regular alarm clock: Basically that - maybe a reference for him always sleeping through the night. The red glasses clock: reference to season 8. He, tango and keralis based together and called themself "big eyes crew" and they all wore red glasses Emerald shaped clock: season 9 as the right hand to king rendog (theres also a crown inside the shape) emeralds because rendog and bdubs wanted to change currency to royal emeralds which started a war on the server and led to rendogs execution. bdubs stayed loyal till the end "hep" clock: Season 7. He plays right hand man to mayor scar. There was a turfwar between two groups - one wanted their main island to be mycelium the other wanted it to be grass. HEP was the group who wanted grassblocks so its a grassblocked shaped clock. they lost the war clock with a snake: 3rd life reference. Inside the clock theres a castle "the crastle" which was his and cleos base in 3rd life. The snake stands for cleo. the heart is part of the logo for the traffic series (same btw count for the heart in the impulse ring) sundial: reference to the hermitcraftxempires smp crossover. bdubs came to empires smp and announced himself as "the sungod" and basically became a god and gem, oli, fwhip and sausage were his followers for the short time. the shape is after a build sausage made in his name the "B" sign: reference to last life. He was part of team B.E.S.T. and they had shields with their initials aka Bdubs, Etho, Skizzlman and Tango. The four hearts are the lifes he was given at the start of the series half tnt clock: reference to ethoslab who is his best friend on hermitcraft and they are just unnormal about each other messed up steam punk clock: reference to the create series he did with keralis, tango, scar and zedaph who unfortunatly was short lived mcc coin: the coin he got for winning mcc broken heart monitor clock: limited life. there's a heart monitor and digital clock. the clock is broken because bdubs didnt uploaded his view for limited life (at the time of drawing this piece) so we never new how much time he had left (we know now) small pocket watch with snake and wings: also limited life. he teamed up with scar (the wings) and cleo (the snake) tree clock: the tree of whimsey. one of his first builds of season 9. he crowned tango as parkour king, cub as royal magican/dragonslayer and ren as king under it

Oh yeah you can absolutely join artfight if you don't know anybody!! :D Sometimes you might stumble on people that will say in their bio that they're only there to attack their friends or mutuals, but that is not very common at all I think. I attacked some friends and mutuals, but I still think most of my attacks were on complete randoms I found on the site! Besides, I'd be willing to bet there's a large percentage of the userbase that go into artfight every year without knowing anyone else on there. :)

And I think there's also a fairly active discord if that's your thing? I'm sure there's a link to that somewhere on the artfight website.

heres a few links from my bookmarks folder full of HTML and CSS resources that i used when first making my neocities website because i want other people to make their own sites as well because its fun :)

how to actually do html and css

web design in 4 minutes - this is the site that really made HTML and CSS click for me, following along as the author describes what’s he’s doing to the webpage and showing how it changes the presentation (you don’t need the book he shills at the end. i did without)

w3schools introduction to html - takes you through the very basics of creating a website, lesson-by-lesson. big goldmine for code to grab and scaffold off of once you have some basic skills

mozilla’s html guide - also a great beginner’s guide by the people who made mozilla, although i didnt use it as much as w3 schools

brackets.io - this is the program i use to write the files i use for my website. lets you do splitscreen to work with two files at once, gives you a breakdown of all the files in your website’s folder, and will let you autofill commonly-used tags and files in the code. supposedly has a live preview function but it doesnt work that well for me when i’m using a second monitor, which i normally do when coding. just save the file and refresh the page instead. 

(side note: i work in a software external to neocities instead of directly in the neocities editor because 1. local files update with a refresh and neocities has to update the cookies AND download all the website info again once you update, and 2. it effectively gives you a mass undo button if you fuck up because you have your files hosted in multiple places (local and online). yes its kinda annoying to have to manually upload all my files especially bc you cant upload whole folders AND you cant move their locations once uploaded but i prefer it to working directly on the site. if you have a neocities pro subscription ($5/month) you can mount your website directly on your machine as opposed to the neocities dashboard, which basically means you dont have to manually upload the code every time you change something -- it’ll update automatically)

codepen - if you prefer something browser-based to work in then try codepen, i used it a little bit at the beginning when trying to troubleshoot some code i didn’t quite understand. you need an account to actually save your work and im not sure if it actually lets you upload folders bc i never signed up lol

premade engines/sites/themes/etc etc

neothemes or eggramen or templaterr - if you wanna get a quick start on a neocities site, you CAN use a theme generator/premade theme. if you go this route i would still heavily recommend trying to learn HTML and CSS, and then go into the guts of your own website to try and pick it apart and change it to your liking

zonelets - a static blogging engine that uses HTML, CSS, and javascript. made for use on neocities but theoretically useable elsewhere. takes about 15 minutes to set up (if you use a default theme, but its pretty customizable if you know what you’re doing) and requires you to 1. write blog posts in html and 2. modify some code in a script file every time you want to upload a post, but it will automatically let you browse posts in order once you get everything uploaded

rarebit - a neocities webcomic template — havent used it yet but looks cool, and seems to operate off of the same principles as zonelets. 

glightbox - this is the lightbox javascript code i use when i want to display a lot of images on one page. i found this code via clicking “inspect element” on a neocities fanpage that the webmaster drew a lot of fanart for. you should click inspect element on neocities pages that you like so you can understand how they do what you like (you can even look at their css by clicking the style.css link you have to include at the top of your page)

But you wanna know why she created humans? Because she was LONELY:

NRC Trial Admission

WHAT WHAT WHAT?!?!?! ANXJZJSBXHDJDJ did anyone else know about the “Trial Admission” on the Twisted Wonderland website?? 😭😭😭 it’s essentially a random sorting into a dorm (no quiz no nothing, just purely randomized), with voicelines from Crowley and the 7 dorm leaders. (Here is also a video recording if for some reason you cannot access the TWST website yourself!)

First of all- CROWLEY VOICELINES I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT 😭 This Trial Admission was released 2 years ago on the Twst EN website, which likely implies that this Trial Admission has also been available on the JP side for 4 years since the beginning of the game’s release- or perhaps even before that as an interactive feature to stir up hype. The 7 dorm leaders introduce themselves, and their live 2D models and poses are on full display.

But the clip above that I selected SHOCKED ME HELPP 😭😭😭 Okay, let me break down the parts I wanted to talk about one by one.

Crowley says to “hold it [the invitation] up to the light.” Crowley…this is a pit of darkness. Yet he says to hold it UP to the LIGHT. ITS A PIT OF DARKNESS??? Crowley, how do you see the world, exactly if this is what light is to you?? Also, I brightened up the background as much as I could, but does anyone know what this actually is? My first though was that is resembles crumbling rocks, which I associate with the Phantom!Grim in the Prologue. But it also looks like broken glass shards, and we are looking into what’s left of the mirror inside? The green fire looks A LOT like both the Dark Mirror fire and Draconian fire. The fire looks like it’s leaking out from the remnants inside the mirror…is this foreshadowing?? Was whoever inside the mirror let out?

The invitation itself is also in pure black and white, to the point it’s even glowing. I wonder if this was a reference to the countdown art with Crowley, where he is the only character in the countdown series to be shown in glowing monochrome black and white.

BUT THEN!! When the invitation is “held up to the light,” there is ripples like there’s water inside- which honestly resembles blot. The ripples also look a bit like the start to Yuu’s dreams. And then the center of the invitation, which is NRCs logo AND a symbol heavily associated with Crowley in regards to the raven and keys, glows a bright blue. This shade of blue seems a bit random, doesn’t it? But to me, it heavily resembles the blue from Ignihyde and Styx….especially within the Lechesis System.

AHXIZJDHCJDB BUT I WAS SHOOK AT THIS?? THE INVITATION GLITCHES, ENTIRELY IN GREEN…in the recent Book 7 update, Malleus had a sudden “glitch” where the screen had a slight overlay in green, and Ortho describes it like a frozen CPU stuck in processing. This heavily resembles Yuu’s dreams/flashbacks, especially when these flashbacks happen when they’re awake. WHY THE GLITCH?? CROWLEY???

Crowley can also use his own magic to assign you to a dorm,,,I want to talk more about that later but the invitation is my focus right now. Also, many apologies I couldn’t include it in the above video (tumblr dislikes it when I try to upload longer video lmao) but the invitation then shows an image of a keyhole that connects to the gates of Night Raven College. It’s very Alice in Wonderland, with a keyhole literally leading to the entire Wonderland (also very Kingdom Hearts with the keyhole being the “heart” of the world), but…in the invitation, the keyhole is right where the hand in mirror would be in that art. Whoever’s hand is in that mirror is being suggested to be like a keyhole to this world…or even the “heart” of the world in KH terms.

It’s really uncertain of how far in story development Twisted Wonderland actually was when the game released. There’s some rumors that Book 2 for example, was originally a Book 6 and switched around last minute. But the bright blue color, the green *glitching*? In the first three books of the game, which was what TWST first dropped with, there was no glitching effect. The glitching in Yuu’s dreams are a much later thing I think, such as in Book 7, or at the very least, *not* an effect shown in the first three books. Crowley’s role in the story and the hand in the mirror do seem to have their roles cemented from the beginning though, considering how purposefully mysterious they are. So what is the purpose of the green glitch exactly? 👀

The Lechesis System and Malleus’s powers…a keyhole to a world. They are all both heavily associated with the creation of their own worlds. I feel very unsettled by this Trial Admission- I had no idea it existed until now but there’s a lot in it now looking back after four years of this game existing! (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)

i am deeply entrenched in the cringe wars (not actually firing any bullets just watching other people do it) and one of the main counterarguments i see is "we need to kill cringe," "cringe is dead" etc. and this rubs me the wrong way a little. and i felt bad about it!! people are getting doxxed cuz they like. upload a corny song on tiktok. obviously thats bad, obviously the cringe industrial complex needs to be killed, like, the accounts that repost shit to be mocked, and people who go posting-crusade against someone who like, wore an outfit they didnt like or said something in a funny voice they didnt like.

BUT on the other hand. i dont know. i dont love the idea of painting the only virtuous path as like. being an angelic being who only experiences love towards their fellow creatures. thats simply not realistic. but i think its easier to say that then "sometimes you will see someone doing something in a public forum that causes you to feel secondhand embarrassment, and you need to contain your reaction and perhaps examine what this illuminates about your own thoughts and values, and then move on." perhaps someday you will naturally find yourself at a place where you no longer feel "cringe," which sounds wonderful. but also difficult, and the end result of a long process.

and even harder than saying that is whats on the other side, is saying "if someone thinks you are cringe, that is a problem they are having, not a reflection of your worth." because some of it really is just basic run of the mill haterism, which we all occasionally produce, and we all must learn to endure from others. its the doxxing that we need to kill, its the hair-trigger accusations of heinous crimes we need to kill. on a basic level, its the making-your-own-cringe-reaction-somebody-else's problem that needs to be killed. the slippery slope doesnt work here, i really think its two different kinds of behavior.

you will have uncharitable thoughts sometimes! because you are a human being. and i think its kind of disingenuous to ignore that.

when you found out matt and his brothers were moving to LA, you were beyond upset. you were even a little mad. how could he leave you? what does this mean for your relationship? are you guys breaking up?

this led to you breaking down crying while you were helping matt pack up his room. he immediately dropped the clothes in his hands and rushed over to you, embracing your figure tightly. "whats wrong sweet girl?"

you swallowed the lump in your throat and whispered, "i dont want you to leave me". this kid began rethinking everything. maybe he shouldnt move to LA. but then he thought about it more. he needs to, for his own independence with his brothers. he hated the thought of breaking up with you, so he decided to suggest long distance

at first, you were like hell no. it doesnt make sense to have a long distance relationship because whats the point? but eventually you gave in.

the day he left, you weren't as upset as you were before, but you still shed a few tears when he kissed you goodbye before boarding the plane.

it was weird being in a completely different state but still being together. you had very negative thoughts. he could be cheating on you RIGHT NOW and you wouldnt know. he could hide it so easily. oh gosh, was he thinking the same thing about you?

matt had similar thoughts, so he text/called you whenever he could. and when matt talked to you, he really listened. he heard the awkwardness in your tone. he didnt want you to feel that way ever!

you guys had a long chat about your relationship that day. overall, you were really happy for him. you watched their videos whenever they uploaded, missing being with all three of them.

one day, you checked matt's insta story which showed a black screen but little airplane emojis in the center. you raised an eyebrow. where's he going? why didn't he tell you? then you thought, "what if hes coming to see me?" you were so giddy, but you didnt want to get your hopes up

you cleaned your room anyways and threw on something to make you feel pretty. if he didnt come, youd just tell your parents you were going out to save yourself from the embarrassment. then the doorbell rang.

you swung the door open and the first face you saw was matts. you immediately jumped on him, giving him kisses all over his face. he chuckled holding you closely. "hi baby." he pecked your lips.

matt spent every night at your house, talking about anything and everything just like always. he also announced that the channel reached 6 million subscribers! you were so proud of him and decided to get a cake to celebrate

the next day, everyone was at mary and jimmy's. matt cut the cake and you all clapped. you kept the image in your head to save for later, when he leaves and you're alone again.
