Hi friends! I don’t know how it happened but I hit 3000 followers recently and I feel unbelievably lucky! I joined this site just over a year ago and I have met many wonderful people and gained multiple friendships from doing so.

My 2023 Fanfic-Wrapped

I only really started reading Pedro fanfic in April or May, I got started on some of the well-known fics on AO3 that were recommended on tiktok. However, one of them brought me to tumblr (because I wanted to see more from this author, I wanted to see their moodboards and their sneak peeks). And I haven’t left since.

I even decided to try my hand at writing as well. It’s been a LOT of fun. (My masterlist is here if you want to see all the weird shit I wrote so far). Thank you to everyone who has supported me in all my efforts and to all the friends I've made.

Weekend Update 03/10/2024

Made it another week Nerdie.

That I did. I believe today is Sunday. Too much time in this chair. I think I slept in it before. Too many times.

I do, I don't always make it there. I've usually zoned out and nodded off, the wake up when my neck hurts. 👀 I'm not always writing either, just thinking sometimes.

I could, but I don't. That sounds like a good idea. My ideas aren't always great. But I did have a few this week.

My March Spring Prompts continue. I was able to do ten of them without repeating a character! 🤗 This upcoming week we'll see some Pedro peeps come back. Key words: gas station sushi, angst, oil and bath. Remember this is Nerdie 😎, it could be any and everything, but my prompts are mature and not explicit. I do write about some heavy subjects, fluff, a few giggles, and have some innuendos, but my main masterlist is 78% smut so just go there.

The WIP I’d been mentioning for the last few weeks or months (could be either) is finished and posted : Diddle your Dieter to Disco. My first Dieter smut actually which is hilarious at least to me. 🤣 The rest of his Masterlist is fairly fluffy. I would check the warnings on it, I put a lot in it. 👀

Part Two of my series The Lake Between Us is up. Make sure to read the warnings. Ezra introduction has a lot going on. It's an AU so he has both arms but that doesn't mean I didn't torture him other ways. 👀 I do love that ya'll love the taglist name "Taste-testers of Ezra's gumbo." 😆

Hi there! I LOVE ur blog, do you have any AO3 multi chapter series fics that you recommened? any character is fine~ trying to broaden my horizon when it comes to fanfic, smut or not, i dont mind ^.^

Ooooh so I'm in a lull between reading at the moment (this always happens when I'm in a writing frenzy).

I'm sure I'mma be missing loads here. But at the top of my head here are a few I'd so highly recommend:

Half of you by @foxilayde featuring Santiago Garcia. It's one of the best, best friends to lovers trope done right I've seen, the chemistry and relationship reads so believable and heartfelt and I love it beyond words.

Rough Days by @no-droids (featuring Din Djarin the one and only Mandalorian) this is the OG self-reader multi-chapter series (I personally got into this fic late) but man once I got into it there was no return for me. Absolute masterpiece.

Stitches by @djarinsbeskar (Din Djarin our favorite bucket man) the level of worldbuilding in this story is absolutely mindblowing! It really feels like a retelling of the show itself with the amount of details and life that Rachel has brought to this story and the world within it.

Psychomanteum by @whatsnewalycat featuring Dieter Bravo (Pedro Pascal's character from a comedy movie called the Bubble but does not require you to watch the movie) is mindblowingly good. I still haven't caught up with more recent chapters. But it's so darn good the prose is god level as is the pacing and characterisation.

Celestial Navigation by @write-and-buried once again featuring Dieter Bravo, no need to watch the movie beforehand as it's AU (I'm not even into this dude, why are all these authors writing such magnificent works about him?!) Absolute gorgeous storytelling, the pacing is impeccable and it's finished.
