Petiteranodon's rich, stuck up cousin has arrived. Just look at all the riches it's amassed in the form of platinum bars (which include the funny, not really visible on the actual card detail of having "PT" stamped into them). It's even gone so far as to have red jewels attached to its chest, and of course we can't forget the metal, broken eggshell like helmet it's got as well. The shine effect on the helmet is really nice actually, and I like the thinly lined highlights on the leftmost side, as well as the yellowish reflection from its crest. I do think this monster suffers a little from disjointed background placement, where it doesn't actually look like its standing on top of the platinum bar pile and moreso like it was simply overlaid (the white outline doesn't help). While Platnidon loses a lot of its cousin's cuteness, the smugness of its expression is so funny. What do you have to be haughty about, little guy? You lack all of your cousin's cute markings and color variation and basically just have a body that looks like a banana and a crest that looks kinda like a breadstick. But that's ok, you're still a silly little guy. It's so weird to see the inside of your mouth, though.

Me scolding Taki in my head for putting a tracker on his boyfriend Hayato's bike and also somehow able to track when Hayato is in danger from his watch...

And then turns out the whole thing is mutual and Hayato ALSO has a tracker on Taki.

Not that I really want to entertain the notion of Sammy and Yaz having broken up (yes, it's a Jurassic staple, but), but if they have, I think I know the reason:

Look behind Sammy.

That could be a big, fake, plastic Stegosaurus for a carnival ride or something...or Sammy could be working with the DPG and/or the Dino Trackers. It's possible that her family turned the ranch into a dinosaur refuge--working with park services and the government in order to protect dinosaurs.

Including carnivores.

That means that Sammy's ranch is, 24/7, a place with dinosaurs.

While we did see Yaz getting along just fine with a lot of dinosaurs on Mantah Corp island, it's possible that it needled her a bit too much. She might not have been comfortable with spending all of her time in DInosaur Land, after several years free of the scary beasts. It could have brought up old traumas and fears. A twinge in her leg every time she sees one. Knowing the Mosasaur is loose makes her hesitate to go into water. That sort of thing.

Sammy, of course, is a good heart and wants to help her family, farm, and dinosaurs. So it's quite possible that she felt like she had to stick around, and Yaz went elsewhere to keep studying psychology or physical therapy or whatever it was she was getting into.

Not necessarily a bad breakup or anything, just something where "Our current careers are not compatible at this specific point in time."

Still, hopefully they'll finally get some closure, figure out who they are entirely, and reignite that little teenage fling they had from a few years ago.

Nothin like taking advantage of the aftermath of the president crashing in Dogtown. It was left behind in the rubble, now it's Zayn's. 🤷

This scenario was living rent free in my head ever since I saw those lil bots laying in the debris like "Zayn would absolutely smuggle one of these out of there". He's a nomad, he's used to building things with scavenged scraps. Why pass up an opportunity to play with some high end tech?

I was thinking about Rex and how'd they'd bring him back to the show. They could easily bring back the Twins by making them appear on those rumoured new Mighty Pups episode though it's uncertain if they're really going to appear or if we'd ever see Mighty Everest again. Since none of the leaks ever show Dino Rescue. Probably the only way for them to bring back Rex is if they sneak him into some of the subseries like what they're doing with Arrby nowadays. I'd probably imagine them forcing Rex as a Mighty Pup since that's probably the most likely where he'd fit. Though he might be back on Season 11 or maybe a surprise episode or even a cameo.

I somehow expect that some of the 'guest pups' would appear on that Charger Christmas episode though maybe not since it's just an 11 minute episode but we'll see. Plus there's a chance that they might rework on that episode like Liberty's First Mountain Rescue.

At best, Everest might appear in the upcoming Mighty Pups episodes, but even that, I don't expect her or Tuck and Ella to appear. If I had to take a guess, they're likely just going to focus on Liberty and the Poms, because of The Mighty Movie and all.

Unless it's another episode like All Paws on Deck, I suspect Rex will always be restricted to Dino Rescue. Hope I'm wrong though. As for Rex becoming a Mighty Pup... I wouldn't count on that one. They can't even be bothered to give Tracker his time in Mighty Pups, despite there actually being merchandise of him in a Mighty Pups suit. 😅
