I really wanted to draw some happy people with facial differences for this week so

Hello tumblr disabled community.

i am able-bodied, but i'm trying to write my character becoming permanently disabled. She is terrified of being a burden and hates herself for needing other people, and i want to do a character arc where she comes to accept her disability as part of her. this is the beginning. Is this a good start, and what can I change to make this a more realistic?

What's your neurodivergent OCs favorite stim toys/ways to stim?

Lana: chews gum, taps on her steering wheel, clicks and flips pens

Vice: chews ice and clicks pens

Berrie: taps his fingers, chews pens, twirls her ring or a fidget spinner, kicks or taps his feet, and pulls on the sleeves of their sweaters until they fall apart (Eobard tried to buy them sturdier sweaters but it didn't help lol)

Eoland: tugs her gloves, licks her lips, and tilts her head/stretches her neck

Barbara: paces and fiddles with whatever is in her hands

H Wells: toys with her glasses, fiddles with the tools in her hands, twirls pens (no clicking, she hates the noise), clasps her hands together, sorts small objects (screws, etc), she used to pace

Hartley: sorts small objects, crosses her arms, taps her fingers and feet

Eden: shakes her leg or foot, fiddles with the ring Ira proposed to her with, goes a round with a punching bag

Ricki: contorts herself into different positions, hangs upside down from things, clicks pens, tears up foam coffee cups into small pieces after she's done drinking

Jessie: takes her hands in and out of her pockets, fiddles with her hearing aids, cleans her weapons

L'Harann: gardens

Alana: toys with her glasses, flips pens, paces

Lara: toys with her mobility aids, takes apart and puts pens back together, goes a round with a punching bag

Angel: clicks pens (and drives Jisoo crazy because he doesn't realize he's doing it) and plays with squishies and stress balls

HUMAN AU - Amadora and Lluvia

So, I've been thinking of making a human AU to self-indulge in their meeting while they were younger.

Lluvia would have been a history student. Amadora would have been a teaching student.

Amadora is still blind in this AU, not fully blind, she can see if she holds the objects really closely to her face.

Lluvia lost her leg in a car accident while she was a high school freshman.

And they meet when the college board puts them together as dorm mates. Amadora´s parents are upset about it, they had requested an individual dorm for Ama to accommodate her. Lluvia is also upset. She had requested an individual room because she's a wheelchair user. But I think you know the rest.

Were getting representation the hard way 2night, even if that means i have to leave one of my OCs half dead in order to give her cool robot prosthetics, even if that means i have to almost Burn another one of them alive, even if i have to make them go through hell only to come out barely breathing, mentaly, phisicaly and emotionaly obliterated and with cool mobility aids that i have customized to fit the character's stile and personality.

you can always give your blorbos mobility aids btw . you can always make them disabled its always morally correct
