I’m really like struggling rn, I don’t feel safe online anymore, all the spaces I used to be on, get flooded with things that stress me out and make me really uncomfortable and scared, there’s like maybe two places on discord I am chill at. It’s one of my friends servers that I met through self shipping Hetalia… and the other is my best friend in real life our server…
Like I’m seriously contemplating doing a social media drop out… I can’t handle this anymore…
The antisemitism is really, really getting to me… and everyone around me says “oh you’re being a big bay, nothing is actually gonna happen, blah blah blah.” But the fucking truth, it is A BIG DEAL and it’s been a big deal for a long time and it’s been ongoing for hundreds of years and I seriously wish people would fucking stop. Just fucking stop speaking on my behalf of how I feel and other Jews… this propal movement is nothing but an underlying problem with extremists basically standing side by side with destructive skinheads. Nazis with Nazis, I don’t . Care how much fucking rainbow support you give. The mere fact you call out Israel as a pinkwashing puppet state and all that bullshit and then say some insane antisemitic shit, talk about fucking hypocrisy, take a fucking look in the mirror. I would NEVER EVER WANT allies like you supporting me, fuck no I’d rather drink poison than have you hypocrites social justicing for my cause as a demisexual biromantic woman, I don’t want none of your parts in it. You’re all just a bunch of hateful creatures. You don’t truly give a shit about Palestine, you care about spreading hate and misinformation and hushing Jews to speak up on the PURE ASSHAT SHIT YOU ALL SPEW FROM YOUR MOUTHS. Because it’s some kind of “fad” it’s in to hate Jews and it all just comes in waves, wave after wave of violence and hatred. You don’t speak for peace for ANYONE.
You speak for your own selfish gain! And twisted moralism.
You talk of death to Israel, death to Jews. I wash my hands of you and spit in your direction.
You’re no ally to me, you’re a fucking disgrace to me.

The whole "Jews are weaponizing their trauma" is so, so fucking gross. It's one of the worst types of antisemitism because it foundationally dehumanizes us. They view us as incapable of experiencing genuine pain of any kind.
People don't understand what it is to be Jewish. Kol Yisrael arevim ze bazeh. I feel a physical connection at the center of my being with every other Jew on Earth. I feel the connection to my Jewish ancestors, because my soul is Jewish. I was at Sinai. I received the Torah.
They cannot fathom that we experience the loss of even one of our own as the loss of a world. The same people killing us glorify themselves in death, they cheer for death and destruction. We say l'chaim! Whole worlds were obliterated, desecrated, stolen and hijacked from us.
By people who pretended to be friends for generations, over twenty years. The Jews living near the Gaza border were peace activists. They were practicing what they preached: coexistence with Arabs. These men knew their children, had been in their homes, knew their names.
On October 8th, everyone screamed at us that we were committing genocide. And on October 9th, they said, "Jews don't really grieve their own. They don't feel pain. Any pain you see is just a reptillian manipulative farce, Don't Trust The Jews. They're Not Like Us."
And we aren't. We aren't like you. We never will be. But we are human beings. We grieve. We suffer. We cry out. We beg and plead. We die. One day, G-d willing, we will dance again, too.

at this point when I read free palestine or see a watermelon emoji in someone's bio I go "are you free palestine as in innocent gazan civilians don't deserve to be massacred and peace is the solution to the conflict or are you free palestine as in hamas are freedom fighters and the solution is getting rid of the isnotrealis". I wish I had the power to instantly know which one it is so I know whether I'm looking at a person who wants me dead or not.

I’m low on hope today. If you’re a goyim (ie non-Jewish) leftist of any religion or lack thereof, and you stand up to antisemitism, interact with this. I literally don’t believe anyone actually cares about us at all.
Jews DNI.
I genuinely want to see if any goyim who are loudly decrying all other forms of hatred are willing to be the ones to spread this message.
And this isn’t a “if you have a heart, you’ll reblog this” point scoring thing I’m trying to get. I am actually truly feeling like most people don’t have the balls to share this. Most people hate Jews this much.

/// goyim can reblog/like, but don't add anything. this is a vent post, might delete later. I'm gonna mute notifs on this post. other jewish people, if you have something to add: feel free, but I probs won't see it. I trust that people won't get into fights in the replies/reblogs
I'm really not liking this current trend of goyim feeling like they get the right to use our pain and trauma. From Holocaust inversion, to doubting statistics on the increase of antisemitism, to doubting us when we say that something is antisemitic ... what gave you the right? We're never believed when something bad happens to us. It's always the exact same people who are ostensibly against antisemitism who end up perpetuating dogwhistles and antisemitic attitudes.

Jewish people deserve to be safe everywhere in the world, without the existence of an apartheid ethnostate that has been committing ethnic cleansing and settle colonialism for decades, and is currently committing genocide. Antisemitism has no place in the movement for a free Palestine, and equating Zionism to Jewishness is antisemitic.

Jewish culture is realising that goyim can't be trusted to care about our lives, even if they say happy hanukkah once a year and claim to punch nazis because most of them would have handed us to the nazis anyways and actually believe that our death and tourture is justified.

the very troubling thing about all this antisemitism is seeing how easily people justify it and downplay it. our very valid concerns based on things that are actually happening all around the US and the world are dismissed as evil zionists trying to distract people and control the narrative. and if people who are not affected by it whatsoever even bother to acknowledge it, they will regard it as collateral, like it's just a minute and inevitable glitch in an otherwise completely noble cause and the sentiment of "other people have it worse/are suffering more so be quiet". they settle the cognitive dissonance of claiming to care about oppressed people and minorities yet also perpetrating the oppression of a group who has been targeted and scapegoated throughout history by simply labeling the whole group as evil, as white colonizers, as the enemy and by trying to take our history away from us. the handful of times i've seen people acknowledge the antisemitism, it was always conditional- the sentiment of "don't be antisemitic BECAUSE not all jews are zionists and those Good™ jews deserve respect and to be treated as humans" or "the jews don't deserve to have their own country that's been theirs for thousands of years where they can be safe from all that's happened to them in literally every other country BUT don't say the k slur zio is ok though" and man it's so fucking tiring.
like i want to hear the perspectives of people on the other side. i think the only true way to get past the animosity is to listen to each other and have compassion towards one another. i have compassion for everyone who is suffering and i don't want anyone to have to be hurt or unsafe or in pain or to die. that's my take.

One of my best friends got married at the weekend and his closing words of his speech were “Free Palestine”, and I’ve been thinking about that a lot. Even on his wedding day, one of the happiest days of his life, a day that should be all about him and his bride, that isn’t the only thing on his mind. It can’t be. We’re all thinking about Palestine and the genocide of its people all the time.
All day I’m checking in on the journalists I follow in Gaza, my stomach in a knot until I see they’ve posted again today and they’re at least still alive, but then my heart broken to see what cruel injustice they’re showing us today. All of us with any scrap of humanity are behind Palestine, and passionately, even if the people meant to represent us are reticent or even adamantly refusing to actually represent our wishes. My friends and I are Irish, so we’ve grown up surrounded by pro-Palestine support: it’s huge here and always has been and our government is one of the ~better~ ones in this regard, but this isn’t unique to countries who are politically pro-Palestine. World-wide, I see rallies, protests, demonstrations, from huge crowds of regular people, even in countries whose policies and governments are deeply on the wrong side of history. Those regular people are what I think we should pay attention to.
Don’t lose heart. Don’t give up on Palestinians. Keep following them, keep listening to them, keep supporting them. Keep up the rallies, keep fighting, keep talking. It can be discouraging to see so few governments doing anything about this and news stories misrepresenting the facts, but don’t fall into thinking that nobody cares or give up. I believe people care. Regular people care. It may not be everyone, and it may not be the majority of the people in power, but I believe there are enough of us to help; we can pressure the people in power to listen if we’re loud enough and determined enough, and every single person saved from these atrocities would be worth the world. This is a dire situation. This is urgent. But it’s not over.
There is evil being done in the world but there is decency in humanity and hope is not lost. From the river to the sea, Palestine MUST be free.
