confession. i'm the type of person to grin in pure joy when something awful is happening to my favorite characters and its being executed well. i feel like an awful person just smiling during these events. but it makes the story so fucking good. and i love a good story, and i love when its told in these insane ways.

as a writer my goal is to evoke emotion, and create a plausible environment that makes people want to learn more. as a consumer i look for these details that build the world and characters and can't help but give in to happiness when it's done.

it's like wow william wisp just stabbed his father figure, helped dissect, torture, and then kill his friends. wow dakota cole handled that maturely and put being a friend before being a hero. wow vyncent recognized his own mistake and vowed to never let it happen again. like yeah that whole thing was a dumpster fire. a fucking mess. but i was so satisfied and smiled the whole time because of the implications it had for their characters and character growth

I perpetually edit. I get this nostalgia to read over something I wrote an eternity ago (October 2022 😂) and I see errors that have me screaming into the abyss.

Man i love looking at a piece of media that im interested in that happens to have a fantasy/sci fi setting and thinking "ah yes. i need to flesh out this world far past what the creators even considered while making it or else my project i won't show anyone won't be cool enough." Its like a Sisyphean task that no one asked me to do and it fuels me.

Think I descended in madness when I couldn’t fit it in the mini print version and then broke down the image into 5 separate prints and spent forever patching the weird break off points. But just like the game I may love this print forever 😂😂

DPXDC Prompt #97

The Justice League fought hard against the anti ecto acts but unfortunately it wasn’t enough and the laws were passed anyways but not before a clause was added to them that states the JL had the right to pull a ghost out of a facility of they had potential to work for them. When they see the potential hero Phantom is caught by the GIW they of course do their best to acquire him. Unfortunately the government sees Phantom as JL property now instead of his own person. Phantom seemed content being trapped on the watchtower and explained it was better than whatever the GIW was planning. Superman thinks something weird is going on with the ghost as when he supposedly went to bed in the room he was assigned he’d temporarily gain a heartbeat again. Constantine is just glad the young prince hasn’t decided to kill anyone in the US congress yet for passing such a ridiculous law. Batman’s adoption senses are tickling.
