ARTISTS FOR PALESTINE 🇵🇸 - ROUND 3!! On the 26th April and 3rd of May, I'll be doing art requests on stream with other notable artists to raise money for Palestinian escape funds.

This round's roster is very lucky to include returning artists including webcomic artist Graveweaver (I'm The Grim Reaper), @wolfythewitch, Cuptoast, Denimcatfish and more.

How do I request a commission?

What’s the commission format?

Tell me your name or your OC’s name, their gender & pronouns, describe them to me both physically and in terms of personality, then tell me which character you want me to write them with. I’ll be writing “character x reader” or “character x OC” fics, so I need to know what I’m working with! Any extra details will help a lot. Of course, we will discuss everything concerning your commission privately.

As some of you might already know, I’m a dentist, but still at uni. Sadly, studying dentistry is extremely expensive, and I can’t rely on my parents to pay my fees for me for a few reasons.

The first being that my dad is a heart patient, and can’t work anymore. The pension he receives is literally less than the equivalent of 90 dollars. Of course, that doesn’t provide anything in terms of food and living (we usually can only afford a meal or two a day) except for some of his meds—not even all of them. His health is steadily declining.

My mother is extremely narcissistic and very, very abusive. I’ve gone through hell living with her because I have to, but even she can’t even afford to take care of us because no one wants to hire her at her old age, and she’s used up all her savings on my dad.

I’m also physically disabled, and can’t move around often. I also have to have surgeries every now and then because of the chronic illness I have.

I am in serious, dire need of money, both for my tuition fees, and hopefully to be able to live. I have to keep us afloat until I can get married in a couple of years, since I can’t live alone. Besides, my dad doesn’t deserve to suffer with his heart problems.

I tried working with dentistry last year, and that worked for a while, but this year no one’s hiring due to the terrible state of our economy. I have no skills aside from my writing, so that’s what I’ll have to work with. I’m getting seriously desperate, so I hope you guys understand why I’m doing this, and hopefully feel inclined to offer any support you can—even if not financial, but just by reblogging this post!

Bad Ritual Public Update

God what a time to be missing my banners ;; But okay, Bad Ritual technical update and rewrites are now live on itch !! These changes include:

new themes (dark and light, themed towards the characters)

new achievements screen

extended accessibility options

Tahira route rewrite

Siruud route rewrites (not as extensive)

texting interfaces instead of in-line texting

totally retooled character creation options

I recommend starting a new game just to see all the changes, and also because the new chapter isn't finished yet 😂😂 That's on its way, but for now there's new content inside the old content and some new menus to explore. The new chapter is coming up next !!

Donations Requested

This is always really hard to do but I've been going through really difficult times these last few months and it would help if you could donate here

I have a temporary place to stay but I've been homeless since April 1st. Alot of places near me have rent in the $700 to $1,000+ area which is massively outside my range (the only one I've seen in my price range had no ac 😭 it's already hit 80°f this spring)

I've been working with different resources to help find housing and support (such as SNAP) but they take time. It's been so much these past three months and I'm starting to burn out.

I'll be putting donations towards costs such as: my monthly storage rental, groceries (snap pending), medicine, doctor appointments, security deposit when I find a potential apartment, and filling my car up with gas.

I have a Kofi, with a backlog of art and a discord server. I've also been playing around with a new app on the iPad if anyone wants to request doodles for donations over $10 (examples above)

I’m alive…

my cat is going into Liver failure and I’m working so I can pay the bills.

He’s not doing well and I do not see him getting better.

I’m just trying to make sure he is comfortable for any outcome and recommendations the Vet makes.

He’s lost 3 pounds and has gone jaundice. He is not throwing up anymore but has to still be force fed.

He is having a hard time breathing due to mucus build up from his liver failure. I’m not very optimistic about his recovery. We are still going to the vet every week for for blood tests and recovery is slow.

Hello everyone, it's been a long hiatus due to many circumstances and issues that have made stability impossible.

But I'm back and I'm looking for a bit of help from anyone who might be able to help.

My mother was diagnosed with cancer, and we are currently struggling with bills that we aren't able to pay, among other matters that just make things worse.

I'm currently looking for any help that may be given and so I've opened my Ko-fi shop along with a few commission spots if anybody is interested. I try not to do this but I'm in such a spot right now

My Visa fees/interest come out next week. So does my student loan payment. I do not have the money/credit to cover either of these. I couldn't buy all the groceries I needed this week and had to hold off on some hygiene products. I had to empty my savings to afford my diabetic medication. The cats need a new cat litter box and I just don't have the money.

So look. I'm not dying. But it's very tight right now and if anyone wants to throw a couple of dollars my way it would be much appreciated.

I also really need to update/revamp my Ko-Fi but I just don't gave the strength. Soon, hopefully

Commissions

Hello everyone! If you're familiar with my work, I sold a run of 100 Pixels for Palestine patches that raised a grand total of $1000 for Gaza!

I've gotten a lot of people asking for more patches to be sold, and I desperately want to raise more funds for Palestine.

Production cost is approximately $250. I am opening commissions to raise this amount now, so that I can sell another round of 100 patches, in which all proceeds will be sent directly to Gazan charities.

a really obscure piece of lore* since its really only mentioned in the octo expansion artbook that never got officially translated is that salmonids dont have names the same way other beings in the splatoon world do. they are often just called [title] of [clan name] (ex: Valiant Green Flame Born of Trout Hell Canyon is the name of the drummer in omega-3) extrapolating from that one could assume that when a salmonid becomes lost from their clan they also lose their names (if they uh dont starve as implied by the 8th scroll in splat3) and that naming ur lil buddy is probably something deeply important to them 🥺

Probably the 'default' would be something like Lil Buddy to the New Squidbeak Splatoon
