Familiarize yourselves with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The US hasn't signed it yet, but if they had the stunts the alt-right are trying to pull would definitely go against it.

We have to be on the forefront of the children's rights movement and protect it intersectionality along with other civil rights movements like trans rights, gay rights, women's rights, poc rights, indigenous rights, Jewish rights, disabled rights and all basic human rights.

If they go after one of us, they go after us all. Right now children aren't protect so they're being targeted first.

We can't let them use "what about the children" as an excuse to create laws that harm children and adults. But as far as I can see, we are not making as much noise about children's rights. People who care about children might be drawn to the alt-right if they falsely believe that this is the only children's rights movement, we can't allow that to happen.

So spread the word.

Children's rights are human rights.

Trans children's rights are human rights.

Okay, I need to rant a bit as a Thomas the tank engine fan.

This Fandom is absolutely psychotic. "Da fuck you mean Andrea?" YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. For the last few years, this fandom has has a fetish level interest in flat out MURDERING characters from the show.

The biggest offender in this is a certain Edward recolor by the name, Victor Tanzig.

I cannot, for the life of me, what made him think killing off beloved fan characters, in a Fandom full of LITERAL CHILDREN, in the most gruesome ways imaginable, was even remotely a good idea.

I myself will NEVER forgive him for what he did to Peter. Dear LORD my blood boiled when he killed Peter in such a distasteful, heartless way. I haven't seen his series since, I hate him that much now.

But it isn't just him, Sodor Fallout, The zombie AU, the SCP foundation AU, Rheneas Productions... stuff..., and Don't even get me started on the Gordon vine rape incident (Yes that ACTUALLY happened in a fan video)..., ALL of them have these Childhood icons meet fates I wouldn't even wish on my worst enemies.

That's how demented these... createns can get.

This Fandom "claims" they love these characters, then immediately shove a massive drill through Edward's face.

Thomas Fandom, for the love of the Children who watch your content.
