This is way too damn true. My high school had a financial class as an ELECTIVE. Meaning that I could try and get it. I tried three years and was never given it. It's absolutely insane how much they didn't teach us on how to live outside school and then call us lazy for not knowing. I'm lucky my parents taught me some things or I'd be screwed.

This blog does not normally rant about events or situations quite this serious but I found this point in my day too important. There was some kind of creature of some sort in my World History study who sat an inch length away from me and discussed ways he wanted to brutally murder homosexuals,feminists,and black lives. The few people sitting around us laughed and agreed, which caused him to go further enough to describe how he would do it in very serious detail way to graphic to describe in this post. I was so sick to my stomach I was compelled to immediately leave the room because although I have met and had my fair share of those kind of ugly people, I have never been and known I was that close to someone who was legitimately homicidal in this situation. I felt sick,and disgusted, and just overall felt unsafe inside. After I fled from the room I felt as if I was a coward but I stopped beating myself up later because I don't think- along with a lot of other people- can ever find the willpower to go into the presence of some beasts who thinks these people SHOULD DIE and are WILLING TO LAUGH ABOUT IT as if they are all chanting "Burn the witch, burn the witch!". It's a disgrace and it's nauseating. It's sick and overlooked. The worst part about this entirely is that my teacher,along with the school board authorities claimed: "It's an opinion,so frankly we cannot do anything about it."
