I don’t drink and I don’t smoke. I don’t like how alcohol tastes anyway, and I don’t want to get drunk. I don’t think I’d like who I am, and I don’t think it’s safe for me to put myself in that position. Smoking so stupid, I don’t need to have an addiction that’ll bleed me dry.

It’s so unfair because it feels like you get punished for not doing harmful things to yourself. I’ve been told to drink just so I can make friends. Why? How is that fair? Why do I need to actively alter myself in such a way to seem likeable? I don’t want to befriend drunk people, I can’t stand being around drunken loud idiots, but is that really my only shot? How is that fair? Being a non-drinker/smoker genuinely makes it harder to have people in your life because those things are ultimately social things. It’s not fair.
