Making some Changes

This is more geared towards the fictions on this blog. One in particular is Down the Rabbit Hole.

I’m currently working on rewriting it completely. 

The original, I’m not really proud of it the longer it stays up. And it’s been up for a few years now. Hard to believe since, like, 2018 I’ve been writing on here and by 2019 I had posted a finished series. Though, not polished. The story arch takes so many turns and twists that make no sense the farther along you go. And the switch of OC!Reader, an already named reader and I just so happened to use my own name since I wasn’t original in naming at all. And rushed smut, all because I got inspired after reading smut. Same for daughter!reader, child!reader, all those things, I put in the story. And it makes...no sense. At all.

So with that being said, I’m going to delete the series from Tumblr. I know some of you have liked it, but, I don’t want you guys reading anymore of something I’m not exactly proud of. But I do have a bit of a teaser to the rewrite, more like remaster of the series. It’s so much better, I paced it rather slow. I give a lot of background on the reader and her family. And I think this is much better than the original.

But, I only have 2,000 plus words written. Once I post the teaser, I’m gonna get back to writing it, and it may take a little over a year to write.

There will be snipbits of episodic rewrites, but there will still be more backstory, more adventures that are “untold” in the show Supernatural. I’ll still add Ghost Hunt as a part in the series, I just love the story told in the Anime Show, Episode called The Blood Stained Labyrinth. The second creepiest episode on the show. And an episode or two of Inuyasha, The Curse of the Dark Priestess Episode, and maybe...the episode Rival Lovers where Kagome is sick and Inuyasha takes care of her. The smut...is either gonna be implied or in explicit detail, it just depends on how I’m feeling the story is going. And I’ll even have a rewrite of the finale. Because remember, this is about the reader being thrown into the world of Supernatural, living through everything that has been shown in the show only more in depth and very real to her. I’ve had this idea for fan fictions for years, longer than me just writing them. 

Now, this blog is just a reblogging type blog so the rewrite will not be posted on here. It’ll be posted on my second blog supernaturalneurodivergentwolf (I probably spelled that wrong...) but I’ll have the correct link up there. I gotchyou.

So, if you see that the link doesn’t work to any part of Down the Rabbit Hole that you liked and is sitting in your likes, it’s because I deleted it and I am rewriting it, remastering it.

And be on the look out on the other blog that I linked above for the teaser that I’ll post Tomorrow Afternoon CST.

I’m excited for this rewrite, this flows so smoothly. And it may be a slow burn and some people don’t like the pace of slow burns, and my wordy ass is going to be very descriptive of the scenes and among other things going on in the story. But, I do suck at my words, so the time I’ll have to look up the correct word will be a doozy.

I appreciate your guys’ patience as you bare with me as I do my best to deliver you some good or decent content for you to read and escape, I’m really excited for this one I can’t wait to finish this properly compared to the original, I can’t wait for you to read it once it’s finished. See you when I post the teaser, and the rest of the series in the future. I can’t wait, I’m excited. :D

First, It was Barb was doing night checks on wayne manor cameras surveillance pt 2

She was in a bit of awe when she saw the newest very rare exotic flower Alfred got bloom under the light of the full moon, revealing beautiful crystallized like petals blossom, only for her widening eyes to take noticed of a tiny little pixie like child to pop his little head out of the center of the flower.

His hair was unnatural white fluff like a dandelion in her opinion, eyes glowing an otherworldly green, freckles that sparkle like the stars themselves, ears a bit long and pointy, wearing a odd clothing with a needles strapped to his back, that she could barely catch in camera, the static buzzing sound from her cameras was making it a bit difficult to hear what sound the tiny little fairy boy made as he floated above zooming around the garden a bit like he was excited.

It made barb's inner child squeals, screaming, flipping her tiny princess table at the possibly of Nederland being possible.

Curious little bug, floating around like the fairies in Disney like except of the Glow pixie dust like she seen on the movies, he left a trail of blueish green light that faded away rather quickly with the way he was flying into the slightly opened kitchen's window...

Wait a goddamm minutes..

Barb immediately switch cameras to the kitchen, looking around, only to see it went through the hallway already, switching cameras again, checking the living room, the hallways, only to catch a glimpse of trail glow zooming around.

Crap crap. OK, no need to panic Barb. What do curious pixie like fairies out in the human world.. bring the season right?!, play with children like that Bell fairy did? Finds and take lost things and secretly repair lost things?..! Fairies are weak without pixie dust, they don't live long without it, each fairies has a different part of the seasons, and if you don't believe in them then they immediately die and that cause imbalance in the world without their influence unless you truly believe in fairies to bring back one fairy.(she went through a whole fairy obsession phase as a kid, she still mourns the lost of the create your fairy open world game)

The fairy must've Found a new type of pixie dust to fly without wings if she could recall that one sequel with the new pixie dusts colors thing..?

It was like a game of Where Waldo except where the little mythical fairy boy that couldn't possibly- no no barb don't think about the taboo words, if you think about it and this poor mythical being dies due to your words then the guilt will haunt you Forever.

3 hours in the catch the glimpse of the fairy boy, flying back at to his little flower holding a tiny cube of sugar, a shiny tiny object that she can't get a clear of, and a plump blueberry the size of his little hesr as he lands in the petals that were closing around him. Crystallized back close as if to guard this little fairy being with its own life.

Right when the full moon glimpse was gone out of the sight of the garden from the sky when the smog cloud from the city covering once more.. Barb is writing that down in her notes..

I did not need to learn that there's a 1979 adaptation of Rebecca with Jeremy Brett and Joanna David (two of the very few actors that could make me care for these characters and actually engage with the story) and that it has never been released by the BBC in anything resembling relatively good quality (there's only a blurry VHS making the rounds on YT).

Hii. It's been so long since I've opened Tumblr that I didn't even know you posted MDZS fanart. And let me say, I love it! I originally followed you because of your Cybersix fanart, and I love that now you also draw MDZS. Could you maybe draw Adrian/Cybersix and Lucas making googly eyes at each other? There are not enough Cybersix enjoyers in the world, and even less artists that have watched it. Love youu

There are very few pieces of media that speak to me on what I can only describe as on a spiritual level, and one of those is Shadow and Bone, written by Leigh Bardugo. Don’t get me wrong, I adore Six of Crows and I think it’s an important story that needed to be told for so many reasons, but there’s something so special to me about the simplicity of Shadow and Bone.

When something is simple, it has to be done well. Yes, Shadow and Bone is on its surface a good vs. evil story which we have seen in media time and time again. I think what stands out to me about it is ironically why so many people call it (or specific things about it) “boring.” There are a lot of important themes, but my favorite is the emphasis that is put on the power of being “ordinary.”

I was 15 when the first book came out, and I read them as they were released. I spent a lot of my childhood reading fantasy books because escaping into them made me feel special, in a world where I felt at once completely ordinary and like a total outcast. This feeling only got worse as a teen, as I would spend a lot of my classes, and even my lunch period reading these books. I understand that this is a feeling that a lot, if not all teens feel. I am not special even in my isolation. I spent so much of my time pretending I had some incredible hidden but innate magical powers.

Shadow and Bone was incredible to me for the very reason why I constantly see it being criticized by my peers and even my friends. The idea of “power” being seductive, while also inherently being corrupt, and fueling the class system and poverty that the entire population is living under, (but Alina as the protagonist is being exposed to a lot of it’s worsts) is something the reader is constantly being reminded of.

Alina is put in a very unique situation by being a girl who holds incredible power as a grisha, but was not raised in that knowledge. To her, the power was suddenly thrust upon her, which made it a lot easier to eventually see the flaws in the entire system. So to read about this protagonist my own age, who had the option of power, was tempted by even more of it in the darkling and the amplifiers- and to give it all up in the end was mind blowing to me.

Alina goes from despising her upbringing and general hardship, to ultimately embracing the simplicity of it. Alina is THE Main character™️ and she ends up as a powerless orphan, in love with another powerless orphan she’s known her entire life. In the realm of all my fantasy books I’d been reading, there was nothing “special” about that. And yet, in it’s difference there was.

Alina’s privilege in making her own choices was special. Her choice to not be controlled by the pillars of power around her. Her choice to embrace her upbringing, and help those who will grow up the way she did. Her choice to accept the love she had had her entire life, that although was not seductive and dangerous, was reliable and enduring and all the more powerful for being that.

It is really surreal and almost funny to see it being criticized for these things now. You think Alina and Mal are boring? Well so did they. And then they grew up and learned better. This is the first book that I can think of in hindsight, that made me wonder if I actually did have this very ordinary but incredible power in myself. I have the privilege of making my own choices. I have the power to love others, and isn’t that incredible? From a person who has now grown up and gained some perspective for myself… Thank you Leigh.

Episode 10 of My Demon:

My dislike of Star Jin has intensified. I've never understood the TV trope of delusional manipulation in the hopes of getting who you want. If anything, it devalues the love the manipulator thinks s/he/they have for tbe object of that affection.

"Oh, I conveniently found out that the love of my life did XYZ, and you're the CONVENIENT witness! Let's be together!"

Six episodes left. Will we finally see what happened to Do-hee's parents, and see Madam Ju's connection?? Will DO-HEE ever find out?? I'm going to be honest, I'm not phased by her having to die, because there's always a dramatic way to fix the situation, with a lot of time to figure it out. If this was pulled out, like, with 2-3 episodes left, I might sweat a bit before remembering that I'm in KDramaLand.

Okay. The cute way Gu-won tried to spare her about the cake is so cute. The demon with puppy-like tendencies is wreaking HAVOC on my feels.🥹 Ah, confessing while your love is asleep..🥰

That wrapped up faster than I'd thought?! Hmm. Why do I feel like Seok-hoon is joining that side to get information...and why do I feel like it's gonna cost him? I'm not ready for that.🥹 Aside from Star Jin...existing...it was another good episode! (Kudos to the actress, BECAUSE I CANNOT STAND THE CHARACTER!!)
