Bobby wants him to go to therapy. An ultimatum, before he can come back to work. He suggests going to see Dr. Wells again, since she was so helpful the first time around, and Buck can’t explain the pit in his stomach. Maybe that’s why he blows up during dinner, as if barbed words could cause the same amount of hurt that ruined his leg. But Bobby doesn’t back down. He levels Buck with a disappointed not quite glare, and Buck is suddenly 12 again. He’s sitting on the Buckley family couch and Phillip Buckley is looming overhead, insisting he still needs a babysitter despite Evan’s protests.

it would be unethical as fuck if it were true but one of my favorite frank headcanons is that he and dr copeland text each other every time buck or eddie have a session (not revealing details) but simply going “they’re oblivious right? like im not just seeing things, they are fully down bad for each other and just don’t know it right?”

You know what I find interesting that may not be intentional or mean anything but is interesting nonetheless?

The way when the others like Maddie or Eddie are shown in therapy with Frank we not only have seen the actual sessions but also frank is referred to as Frank

Now I’ve had therapy and a good 95% of people in my life are either currently or used to be in therapy and it’s pretty commonplace for therapists to use their first names with patients (I think cos it builds rapport or something)

But thing is with Buck’s therapy we’ve only seen the dr wells incident and then the sessions with Dr Copeland aren’t REALLY shown and Dr Copeland I’m pretty sure has only been referred to as such

Which makes me wonder if this is to show a healthy boundary after the dr wells incident or is it to show a disconnect to his therapy and it not working

Ooo another detail I noticed is on the one part of his session we saw she referred to him as Evan:

This was around the same (?) time where he flat out says people who know him call him Buck

Now that being said we HAVE seen exceptions of that and it could just be because he’s listed on documents as Evan but still I don’t see any reason why she wouldn’t call him buck or why she should be part of the exceptions

Anyways I thought these things were interesting when you put them all together even if they may be 100% unintentional

It's incomprehensible to me why people want to see AEW fail. At the most basic level, which some of these critics seem to focus on, there are more jobs for wrestlers which means more money and options in the business. More options means more competition which means all promotions are stepping up their game to put on fantastic shows which draw viewers, wrestlers, and other professionals. It means a better opportunity for any and all wrestlers to find what suits them best. On another end, multiple accessible promotions to fans means we can pick and choose what kind of wrestling we want to watch throughout the week. We can choose different shows from different promotions every week based on who is wrestling, and skip episodes that don't meet what we want while still seeing what we want to watch. Or, we can stay with a single promotion and watch all they have to offer as a whole. If you're out of your mind like I am, you watch as much as humanly possible because I love watching wrestling and don't really care about the promotion aspect of it.

The us vs. them dichotomy serves no one except perhaps a few billionaires at the very top who want to create monopolies in the TV industry and get all viewership on 3-5 channels. At that point, it's not even about wrestling. It's about people who can live off the interest of their backup bank account wanting even more money. And why the fuck would you want to encourage that?
