“Cutieee” he whined and you almost dropped the seashells you were holding. He was leaning, arms draped around you, making you wobble. 

“Don’t ignore meee, I am withering like seaweed abandoned by sea.” 

“Oh my poor seaweed, do you want me to throw you back into the sea?” you giggled at the dramatic gasp. 

“How dare you! I am trying to share my love” he took your hands in his, hugging you in process, placing a dark, smooth heart shaped pebble in them. 

“But I don't have anything for you…

Before long, he turns his head to you, your reflection pooling in his brilliant ruby eyes.

"People don't transform into dragons when their hearts are in pain, my beloved. We share it." You lean your forehead against his.

"Please. Let me bear this weight with you."

You slipped off his boxing gloves and began unwinding his hand wraps, trying to ignore the fact that you were eye level with his sweaty abs. He smirked down at you, leaning against the ring ropes.

"Sylus, you always train too hard." You inspected his bloodied knuckles with a frown.

"I have something to protect," he said simply.

He climbed down and let you wipe his hands clean, then massage lotion into them. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you back against his chest. He smiled against your cheek.

"Besides. I like when you take care of me, kitten."

As I have decided to participate in the 2025 drabble month, hosted by @thedrabblecollective, I have put together a series of drabbles following the given prompts. Day nine . . . ‘Enjoy,’ as a 𝑀𝑦𝑑𝑒𝑖𝑚𝑜𝑠 × 𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟 .

The scent of vanilla and browned butter pulls you from sleep.

Groggy, you blink, then sit up in alarm. “Mydei?”

He’s in your kitchen, shirtless and humming, flipping pancakes like he was born to seduce brunch.

“Is this a bribe?” you call hoarsely, eyeing the tray he prepares with alarming precision: whipped cream in delicate rosettes, syrup drizzled in a perfect spiral.

He glances back, smiling that lazy, dangerous smile. “I simply enjoy spoiling the one person who makes mornings tolerable.”

You fold your arms. “And the shirtlessness?”

Mydei picks up the tray, sauntering toward you. “Just part of the presentation.”

Feigning ignorance, Levi huffed. “Watched who?”

“Don’t play dumb, Levi. You’re not so good at that as you are dealing out sarcasm.”

“I wasn’t watching Y/N any sort of way.” Levi defended, having the gall to even look offended.

“Ah, but I didn’t say her name, did I? I could have been referring to the woman standing in the lobby when we left.”

Erwin chuckled, briefly meeting his eye before Levi quickly looked away with a scowl.

“We gotta give Levi some credit” Hange told the group sitting with them on the table, a few feet away from their friend, “he’s trying his best, at least”.

They watched as Levi talked to the scout, mentioning something with the usual stoic expression he had on his face.

“You think he’ll accidentally insult her and fuck it up?” asked Miche.

“Definitely” replied Erwin and Hange at the same time.

But when they turned to look at them again, they were surprised. For they saw how her cheeks turned a rose color as she smiled at him.

“I’ll be damned.”

“Babe!” You yell from the bedroom to get your husband's attention.

“Yeah?” It’s a yell from the other side of the house

“I need your hand with something.” you can’t help the grin that spreads across your face.

“Of course, sweetheart, what do you need help wi-” Jinwoo’s voice trails off as he walks into the room seeing you in the new lacy lingerie you bought.

“I got some new lotion and thought you could help me apply it. It’s edible.” Almost before you can get the words out, Jinwoo is on you, and you fall back onto the bed.

Viktor had you shoved against the wall of the entry way. Hands roaming freely. One found its way under the hem your dress, the garment that started this whole thing. Admittedly, you'd worn it to get a rise out of him.

Now you were dealing with the delicious consequences.

Viktor nipped at the sensitive skin of your neck, pulling a mewl from your throat. "Mercy? - You spend the day teasing me, and now you ask for mercy. We haven't even begun, my love."

"You like the dress then?"

“Just leave, I will slow you down, I am a liability” you said, voice steady and certain. Like you gave up questioning it. 

There was silence, where heavy breaths mixed in too tight a space you ended in. You just couldn’t do it anymore. 

Then your eyes meet his. Burning rage and undenying love. 

“Don't. Don’t decide what you are to me.“ he lifted you up “You’re my world and nothing less”

The man in question arches a brow in reply. You've spent the better part of an hour trying countless hats on him, trying in vain to find one that he didn't look good in.

All failures: the fedora, beret ("Mademoiselle…" "Shush!"), sailor's hat, balaclava (ready to rob a bank), sombrero, top hat (a hot magician), he even had the audacity to look (incredibly) sexy in the pilot's hat and now this… cowboy hat…

Before your thoughts stray too far, you swap it for the party hat.

"No, I'm just not a big fan of parties...and I didn't have a partner, so I was considering whether I should go or not..." You don't dwell on the weird feeling you got when you considered missing out, which felt like you were wasting a golden opportunity or something. Instead, you turn to Solomon, curious and expectant. "You're out here as well. Waiting for someone?"

I was waiting for you, he wanted to say. Even if you had a date, I wanted to walk in with you.

“What?” He deadpanned.

“The hat,” you prompted, pushing off the metal doorframe of the cabin.

“Levi Ackerman, wearing a suit and hat. Kinda suits you. And, is that a tie?”

Averting his gaze, Levi scoffed—you caught the slight pink dusting his cheeks.

“Onyankopon said we have to blend in; apparently this is that.”

Closing the boat door behind you, you sauntered over to him.

It was subtle at first.

People started noticing how Levi seemed to enjoy her company the most. How he started being more at ease when she was around. How he wasn’t as tense or as rough around the edges as he usually was.

At some point, they even started going to her when they wanted to ask him a favor, knowing that if she couldn’t convince him, no one else could. And when he got mad, they'd find her, knowing that only she could calm his temper.

It was obvious, in the end, how important she had become to him.
