She have tried not to imagine her future with him. She really did. She never was that type of girl who imagine her life with a boyfriend. Never thought about wedding or kids.

Till the moment she fell in love with him. Till the moment they tried.

Maybe that's why it hurts so bad to watch him with his new soon to be bride, Astoria Greengrass. He told her there's nothing he can do. But it's doesn't matter.

How she even could think about future with him, Draco Malfoy. She, the brightest witch of her age... She doesn't know.

That's why as she's laying on her bed she starts crying. She cried imaging the future she will never have. While her hearts slowly was tearing apart.

Well, the story of this picture is that Draco and Hermione eloped and only their close friends are invited, also because Draco was disowned by his parents by marrying a Muggleborn. 😠

The invited people are Harry, Ron, Ginny, Luna, Neville, Pansy, Theo, and Blaise.

Neville is the one who picked the flowers, Luna suggested the flower crown (she made this) and veil, Harry and Ron ask Headmaster McGonagall to have the wedding at Hogwarts near the Black Lake, Pansy sew the gown and veil (she is kinda sad because she wants to design a big, extravagant wedding dress for Hermione but H didn’t want it), Ginny does the hair and makeup, and Blaise and Theo does the tables, chairs, basically lifting things for the wedding (not in the picture 🥲)

Baby’s Breath for everlasing love and devotion, Hermione fights her love for Draco and him accepting his disownment because he loves her. 🥹

Fern for family and hope for future generation, they hope that their generation would be the last gen. who will be experiencing prejudice. And their children would be the one of the hope for the future 😌

Evergreen for immortality and eternal life. Their love is eternal until the next time they meet again ❤️

101! It feels like such a dream to be over 100 fics.

2. What's your total Ao3 word count?

1,434,829 total since mid 2022 and 387,124 just in 2024!

Word count means a lot to me.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Written and posted for: Chenford (The Rookie) 80 fics, Stris (SWAT) 15 fics, Buddie (911) 3 fics, Nace (Nancy Drew) 2 fics, Dramione (Harry Potter) 1 fic and it was a birthday gift. I don’t even go there, and Two&Three (Dark Matteter) 1 fic.

I’ve written for other fandoms (that’s a longer list), but I haven’t posted those old little pieces of drabble, and I never intend to.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

Sorry, friends, I don’t check kudos. I appreciate them, but I don’t look at hits, or kudos, or subscriptions, or bookmarks as units of measure. Ever. I can’t control how many and who likes my work, and so I don’t want to think about my work based on those numbers. I look at my word count, and that’s what I’m proud of. That tells me I’ve found a certain amount of time to do what I love, so I’ll go with Top 5 Fics by Word Count:

5. Do you respond to comments?

Absolutely! Anyone who takes the time to leave a (positive) comment is someone I really appreciate. It means SO much to me, since that’s the only way I gauge engagement (as I mentioned before, I do not check kudos, etc.). It does take me a while to reply to comments, which I do apologize about. When I have a few minutes, I can either reply to comments or keep writing, and I tend to pick to keep writing, hence the delay in replying, but I will. I promise.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Written and posted so far: All Dogs Go To Heaven. I will truly NEVER live that story down. Sorry!!!

Second place is: You’re Losing Me (Pt. II).

I love angst. So much. Angst at the beginning of a story, angst in the middle, angst at the end…all of it! I do *tend* to write happily ever afters that are hard won, but nothing hurts like a super sad ending that will make you enjoy a good cry. I’m damaged. Leave me alone.

Also, I have my own angst scale to assess the pain of my stories (attached to this post for reference and in my profile on AO3). My love of pain is very serious. I already mentioned I’m damaged. Leave me alone.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Most of my multichapters have a sugary sweet happy ending including a fluffy epilogue, because after the rollercoaster of angst, I feel like the beloved ship I’m writing for deserves it (also anyone who reads my fics and rides the rollercoasters deserves some happiness…usually) I think I Pretend You’re Mine might be the happiest, or The Story Of Us, or Let’s Get Together? Someone else might be a better judge.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

ALL.THE.TIME! Since I started actively posting very regularly at the beginning of 2023 to now, I haven’t gone a month without receiving hate on a fic. It’s exhausting at times and, admittedly, has slowed my writing down a bit as of late.

Fun fact: I got some smut hate and quickly wrote and dedicated a smut fic to “my hater” called: A Great Way to Start the Day

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I write mostly E and some gentler M smut. Nothing too kinky (posted thus far). It’s all been for Chenford as of now, and I have fun with it.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

I’ve got half of an outline for a Caskett x Chenford crossover somewhere on my list. I hope I get to actually write it someday.

Who would steal MY insanity? No, I haven’t (to my knowledge).

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I’ve been approached a few times. I would be open to someone translating one of my fics into another language. Feel free to reach out!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

It’s been a privilege to co-write Even If Saving You Sends Me To Heaven with heartofrookie and Somebody Save Me and Our Secretly Perfect Holidays with thatfandomwriter.

14. What's your all time favorite ship?

I could NEVER pick, but Chenford has my heart right now by a LANDSLIDE.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I really believe I will finish all of them. If I start posting, I will finish the story. I hope I have the inspiration and time to write everything I have an idea for.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Being passionate and outlining. I think the passion of a writer will ALWAYS come through in their work. It’s so clear when someone is having fun with their story, and I always ALWAYS do, or I won’t write the fic. Also, I really thoroughly outline my stories before I ever write a word. It’s really important to me to have everything planned out to execute a story that has all of the aspects, plot, arcs, and development I want to include. Also, angst just won’t hit the same unless it’s outlined and well thought out. Otherwise, it can feel unnecessary, but all my angst has a reason.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Pretty much everything especially fluff. I’ll never say I’m a great writer. I know that I’m not. I will say, I always enjoy myself and make myself happy with my work (or a friend on their birthday if I write them a birthday fic). That’s all that matters to me. I don’t need to be good or be a strong writer. I’m okay with being meh.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I’ve thrown in some Spanish for Chris in a Stris fic, but otherwise, haven’t done it yet. If someone else is comfortable speaking another language that a character speaks, I say go for it!

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Technically, I wrote a story when I was REALLY young about Zack and Cody’s parents getting a divorce. I wrote it on my phone, and never posted it, and have long since deleted it (I am so embarrassed that I am sharing this right now). First fandom I posted for was MacRiley (MacGyver). My friend and I were obsessed with the show, it got canceled before the ship went canon, and so I wrote what I would have written for the final season. I posted it on WattPad. It’s not very good, but I did it and posted it per a friend’s request. Don’t judge me.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

There are a few.

Favorite MCD: Back to December (Chenford) This is the only story of mine that I’ve reread for pleasure.

Favorite vulnerable Tim: I Just Want You To Know Who I Am (Chenford)

Favorite I’ve written when I was in a dark place but still made something I think is beautiful: You Can’t Spell “Time” Without “Tim” (Chenford)

Favorite because someone told me they refused to take their own life until the story ended and sought help before I finished posting, so it’s the reason they’re still alive: King of My Heart (Chenford)

Favorite guilty pleasure story I’m glad I wrote: Let’s Get Together (Chenford)

Favorite because it was my first real multichapter Chenford fic: For Fake and For Real (Chenford)

Chapter Fics Currently Being Posted:

Petals (Dramione, Fae AU, Fated Mates) - Petals just kind of ... happened. It was meant to be a quick five-chapter fic, but the chapters kept getting longer and longer and all of a sudden I have a 90,000+ fic on my hands. Definitely the longest chapters I've written for a book/fic. I tend to like to keep chapters no more than 7k long, but Petal's average is something like 18k. I have no explanation other than it felt right.

Sacred Blood (Dramione, Mafia AU, Alchemy instead of magic) - I absolutely love Mafia Romance, and so it was natural for me to be inspired to write a DHr Mafia fic. This story took a back seat while I got Petals out of my system, unfortunately, it's been a hard year and Petals has taken an age to finish. But I can't wait to get back to my murder bbies.

Wings ... and Other Romantic Things (Charmione, Second Chance Love, Mystery) - A little romcom-esque romp. Hermione is forced to work with Charlie (an ex-fling during the war) when local Veelas are being attacked. Charlie and Hermione must solve the crime and catch the attacker, all while past feelings come back in full force.

Drabble Series In Progress:

Think Of Me (Dramione, Pierced C*ck Draco, Curious Hermione) - I have literally one more chapter to this raunchy, crack fic. I swear I will get to it soon!

Games (Dramione, Panville, Bluna, Theo/Padma, Cho/Dean, Ginny/Harry, Ginny/Seamus, Magical Sex Toys) - I get this one requested to finish a lot (you filthy heathens). I have five more pairings to do!

Ferrets and Fun (Dramione, Ferret Animagus Draco, Fluff/Humor) - I adore Ferret!Draco. Truly. There is no real plot in this drabble series. Just whatever inspires me. I should write another installment of his shenanigans soon ...

Lucius Malfoy and the Eternal Struggle of Being Him (Dramione, Lucius POV) - Same as above, no real plot, just dramatic Daddy Lucius watching his son be in love with Hermione. He's not bad in these, just extra!

Fics I am Currently Writing But Have Not Posted:

Magic Finds A Way (Dramione, Jurassic Park AU) - This fic is an absolute delight. I am actually really proud of it and all the parallels I've made to the original JP book and the films. But it will probably be a while before I post it :(. It's gotta be almost completed before I start to post and it's got to be absolutely perfect to me.

Demagogue (Second Gen, OG MCs but descendants of Dramione, Hinny, and Voldy) - This is my Magnum Opus. And like Magic Finds A Way, will not be posted until I feel it is perfect. But it's a twisty one, with lots of action, mystery, and pining romance. I can't wait to start posting about it.

The Perfect Alpha (Dramione, A/B/O) - I go feral for A/B/O, so while I'm surprised I haven't written more of it (only one little drabble), I am also not surprised. This fic is a lofty one, and my ambition for it has caused it to be put on the back burner. :(

Sad Eyes: The Expansion Series (Dramione, Theo/Padma, Blaise/Luna, Panville) I have three spin-off short chapter fics based in the world of my Sad Eyes fic. All feature a different pairing, tackling different types of trauma and how they heal after the war.

Curses of the Sand (Panville, Adventure through Egypt) - I started writing this fic for a Panville fest but fell behind due to school. I love the story and setting and pairing, so I will definitely be posting it at some point!

2. Which of your WIPs is currently the longest?

Petals at 92,642.

3. Which WIP do you expect will end up the longest?

Demagogue. POSSIBLY Magic Finds A Way.

4. Which WIP is your favourite to write/the most enjoyable to write? Why?

Too difficult a question. I love all my fics for different reasons and it really depends on my current mood and place in life that decides what I want to work on. I'm going through a rough time right now, so I would have to say Petals because Hermione is also currently struggling and it's nice to not feel alone in that regard.

But, I daydream about Demagogue and the Sad Eyes Expansions the most, I would say.

5. Which WIP do you find the most intimidating to write? Why?

Magic Finds A Way. I am worried no one will care about it since it isn't the typical Dramione fic. It's science that has been twisted by magic and dinosaurs ha ha. And if it "flops" I would be devastated because I have literally worked so hard on the parallels between it and the OG materials and media.

I guess the same could be said about Demagogue. It's my baby, my most precious creation, and if no one reads it because it's second-gen and OG characters, with the main pairings fandom likes just being sided characters ... I would probably leave fandom lol, I'm being dramatic but also not really. I am not sure how I would take it if no one gave it a chance.

6. Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why?

Oh, well, read my answer to the question above!

7. Which of your WIPs will you seek out a beta/sensitivity reader for? Why?

Magic Finds A Way. I have two betas that have read the OG Jurassic Park, and also have a fandom friend helping me with the French Draco speaks.

I have the same betas for every chapter fic I write. They both encourage and rip apart my writing to help me flesh out every single aspect of my stories.

Drabbles? You get what you get 🤣 from me.

8. Have any of your WIPs been struck by the curse of writer's block?

I don't really get writer's block. I know exactly what I want to happen in all of my story ideas, but I do have periods of time where I am physically unable to write whether that be irl drama, my health, or a busy work schedule that leaves me exhausted.

9. Which WIP has your favourite OC? Tell us about them?

Demagogue! Yes! So, In this fic, The Cursed Child does not exist and my MC is named Hallow and she is the abandoned daughter of Voldemort, adopted by Harry and Ginny after the war.

10. Which WIP is the sexiest?

Well, that depends on what you like 😉

Creature fucking, particularly wing kink? Read Petals.

You into egregious smut? Read my Games series.

Sharp suits, hand kinks, and men who would literaly murder anyone who touches you---that does it for you? Sacred Blood is your jam.

When I finally post my A/B/O, I am sure it will take the cake for spice.

Oh my gosh, Sad Eyes. Hand's down.

12. Which WIP has the best characterisation (in your humble opinion)?

They all have different complexities and characterizations of the characters we all know and love. I try to change things up with every fic!

18. Which WIP is the funniest or has the most humour?

Lucius Malfoy and the Eternal Struggle of Being Him cracks me up. I love Lucius. And though Sad Eyes is about healing trauma and all that, I think there are some pretty funny moments and quips in that fic.

19. Do any of your WIPs contain outside POVs or a deep dive on a character other than the main ship? How are you finding that process?

Lucius Malfoy and the Eternal Struggle of Being Him, Lucius' POV.

My Sad Eyes Expansion fics as well as my Games series are both diving into pairings I have never done before nor see often or at all!

Petals has POV parts from Narcissa's and it's a really cool way to create an even bigger picture in the aspect of court politics within the fae realm. It makes the stakes seem greater than just Draco and Hermione being mates, etc.

20. Tell us one thing we don't know about one or more of your WIPs.

I have a song for every scene of anything I write. Most of everything I come up with is inspired by music. If you ever ask me what song helped me write a scene/fic/drabble, I will definitely have one to share.

Tagging: Look, I have too many WIPs to tag, so I am not even going to try. I also think this challenge has already made the rounds since I am so behind on doing it. So I don't want to bother anyone by accidentally double-tagging them!

Hi all, I’m looking for a fic. It’s something like the night before the wedding of Rose and Scorpius and they are shocked to overhear Draco and Hermione drinking wine and reminiscing about the secret relationship they had during school(?). They talk about how they are sad they didn’t end up together, but both had happily lives and are excited that their children can enjoy the life they couldn’t. I think it was drabble length, past dramione, hermione/ron, draco/astoria, no weasley bashing, just a sweet but melancholy story. I probably read it on ao3. I’ve been trying to find it again for like two years, it’s driving me crazy!

Draco is given two options after the war:

2. Obliviation and exiled to the muggle world

It doesn’t matter, as far as he’s concerned he dies either way. He just wishes Granger hadn’t inserted herself and tried to help at the end.

What if she loved him back?

What if they had a future together?

What if she could pull a Gryffindor miracle out at the 11th hour?

Echoes of what ifs distract him from listening to Granger speaking at him.

It’s all legal jargon. She hasn’t stopped since his trial ended. Who cares? There’s no loopholes, there’s no precedent. The Ministry gets to make up whatever they like as they’ve always done.

It was naive to think he could relax once Voldemort was defeated.

Granger pokes him. Hard. In the ribs.

‘Well?’ She demands.

He’s her opposite, hasn’t peeped a sound since the trial.

‘Its not over. We should at least try my idea.’

He looks down, sighs, closes his eyelids. ‘No.’

When he meets her gaze, she’s vibrating with fury. ‘That’s it?’

‘That’s it.’

‘You don’t care?’

‘No.’ The word sticks in his throat. He’s pulling his Occlumency taught, but it’s not strong enough to quell the growing distress inside him.

She steps into his space, tentatively touching his jaw. ‘Let me,’ she whispers while looking into his eyes.

Her other hand takes his as he feels her consciousness gently prodding his. Legilimency?

He makes room for her and she doesn’t go digging deep or far, she sits at the front of his wall where all his mixed emotions are crashing in barreling waves.

Her grip tightens on his hand before her face begins to crumple. ‘I won’t let you die. I think... I think I love you, too.’ She sobs after that, overtaken by both their emotions.

He doesn’t move or emote, but he knows she can feel his anguish.

He preferred thinking what if.

He preferred not to know what he’d miss out on.

He drops his head on her shoulder, he’s exhausted. It doesn’t matter what happens to him now. ‘What do you want me to choose?’

‘I want you to be with me.’

‘Not an option, love.’

She chokes a sob. ‘It is. Live and be a muggle.’

‘Doesn’t feel like choosing life. I’ll turn 21 next month and I’ll be alone in some empty flat. I don’t want to be by myself.’

‘I won’t let you be alone. I half live in the muggle world as it is. We can be together, it’ll just be different.’

‘No.’ He lifts his head, brows knitted. ‘No, no, no. I know what you’re thinking. It won’t be me, Granger.’

‘It is you! And I’ll love you the same.’

He shuts her out from his mind as to stop overwhelming her. She slumps a little and he catches her around the shoulders.

‘It won’t be me. If you fall in love with him, fine. All the better. But don’t hold a flame for me waiting to be reminded of someone who doesn’t exist anymore.’

‘Fine, fine.’ She’s as defeated as he is. ‘Just let me be next to you.’

‘Until then,’ he kisses her, ‘be with me?’

He’s 21 today. No job. No friends. No parents, though they send him a lot of money. He thought about calling but something always distracts him.

So he’s alone. Until she knocked on his door.

‘I’m Hermione,’ she says between breaths, like she ran to make it here ASAP.

She’s the new neighbour, moved in as of one minute ago and already inviting herself into his flat.

She fills his emptiness perfectly, not aware of how void his life is until she’s filled it. Had he lived like this for 21 years? What a waste.

Hermione feels like his missing half though she’s a little odd. She asks a lot of questions, like she wants to know everything about him. It’s a bit obsessive, but it helps him realise he doesn’t know most of the answers.

He knows almost nothing about himself until Hermione expands his world.

It irks him that she always mentions a friend. Stories of doing this and did Draco like that too? He thinks it’s an ex-boyfriend. He’s not sure if he should be flattered she constantly compares them.

He shouldn’t be possessive. She’s had a colourful life before meeting him, he isn’t her everything the way she’s his.

He thought that until she agrees to marry him on his 25th birthday.

He’s spinning her around, unable to stop smiling as he sets her down and tries to kiss her but they’re both laughing and too full of joy.

Then she falters, her eyes searching him with that look.

He knows that look. It’s spoiling everything. ‘What? Did I remind you of your friend again?’

‘No.’ Hermione smiles like she’s saying goodbye. ‘You remind me of no one.’

That was what Narcissa Malfoy told her son. She told him this when he was an impatient baby. She told him this when he was an angry adolescent. She told him this whilst standing before the blueprints of a knackered, old vanishing cabinet in his youth.

One thing he did not have in this present moment was time.

Draco Malfoy was running a race. He couldn’t turn around to see who was chasing him. He didn’t have time, to see that it was time on his tail sprinting after him, long legged.

His legs hauled him into the corridors of the manor, ring scalding on his finger. Bursting open the double doors of the bedroom chambers he could feel time shiver over his skin. Draco and his wife are one of mind. But one thing that they share too closely, is that they’re both cursed.

Astoria Greengrass’ curse was purely physical, whilst Draco Malfoy was cursed with time.

His friends and family called it tragic, whilst others called it bad karma. He doesn’t know, and he doesn’t think on it because he simply does not have time.

That’s what Draco was thinking at this moment in time. Head reeling, as he mutters a counter curse to siphon the poison out of the arm that belongs to the mother of his child. He learned through his seventh year at school that there was a fine line between fascination and devastation. “Do not play with fire if you do not wish to be burned.” Was what Theodore Nott told him that year. Maybe if he had of taken the advice, he would not be praying to an unknown God at his bedside whilst holding a limp, alabaster arm in his hands as the words strung out of him.

As time rushed the days and nights on, the incidents were becoming a common occurrence.

On this warm August evening, time finally caught him…

Dragging him down, down, down into a stupor.

Now that time had caught him and the game was over, he lost track of it. He couldn’t comprehend how much of it he would spend kneeling beside that head stone.

Minutes, hours, days,

People came and went, feeding him lie after lie.

They told him time heals all wounds, but that assumes that the source of the grief is finite.

Dramione- Prompt: Mirrors

She had to cover all the mirrors in the house. 

The reflections, the catches of light that briefly took shape in the corner of her eye always took the shape of him. 

Of things she wanted to see. 

Against all odds, they had built a life together, somewhere they thought they were safe. Away from prying eyes.

Hermione was smart. More than smart. Brillant. Logical above all things.

And she had read what kind of things grief could do to the mind. 

How it could bend and warp and twist to try to heal itself. 

It was hard enough to see him in the night sky, a constellation hanging over the horizon, as if trying to touch back down to earth.

It was almost too much to see him in her dream, every night his voice growing more faint. It was always the night before the attack. The same conversation.

Draco, don't go. 

I have to. I'll be back in the morning. 

But he never did.

So she covered the mirrors, and tried to move on

Memories

Sometimes memories are the worst form of torture. One. Hermione sees Draco on top of her, saying he loves her. She believes him. Two. Hermione sees Draco at the end of the aisle, eyes away from hers. Does it feel like a life sentence to him? Three. Hermione sees Draco at the clinic. Doctor says she can't conceive. He yells. She doesn't feel like a real woman. Four. Hermione sees Draco in a bed, buried deep into his lover. Is that love? Five. Hermione sees Draco holding his newborn in his arms. It's the first time she's seen him happy.

"Her knees touched the cold ground as she fell, looking at the two lacquered coffins. One big one. And the other one is much smaller. Her scream echoed throughout the grounds of Malfoy Manor until someone's arms wrapped around her from behind.

She grabbed his wrist, stopping him once again, before she shook her head. “No, this,” she stressed. “Whatever this is between us, it’s only going to hurt.”

His thumb stroked at her hipbone and he sighed, his breath warm against her cheeks. “It’s better than feeling nothing at all.”

Things I Wrote

Despite @they-call-me-megs sending me a gorgeous new writing notebook (which was so lovely and thoughtful, I could cry) I wrote almost nothing this month. Between holiday reads (you'll see below), the actual holidays, and an impending move, writing things were not happening. I have only the tiniest little Twitter drabble for Pau's art that you can find here, if you so desire.

Here's the thing. This is excessive, and I fucking know it. I read an insane amount of fanfic this month. A truly bonkers amount. We did so much group reading.
