I just finished Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Ordeal of Being in Love and, honestly, if my love life isn’t up to par with this, i’d rather die alone, reading fanfiction. My full thoughts on this masterpiece are pinned on my profile, as a “live commentary”.

Thanks to the people who suggested that i read it after The Fallout to lighten the mood, haha! But I’m ready to suffer again ~ i might read one more before i muster up the confidence to finally commit and read Manacled… big things happening, folks!

“Still straight?” Harry joked.

“Yes.” He mumbled.

“Shame. Try again next year, yea?”

Draco’s cheeks turned pink at the implication. He had no idea how it happened, but Harry managed to escalate the conversation, best him, and calm the mood back down in under five minutes. After realizing this, Draco let go. He let go of whatever anger he had and he also let go of the idea that he needed to win, just for now. Letting that go gave him the gall to ask, “Are you flirting?”

Now it was Harry’s turn to be silent a moment. He opened his mouth to respond but nothing came out as he realized he might be.

Was he flirting?

Perhaps.

He hadn’t quite decided. But since Draco didn’t seem to be openly disgusted or made hostile by the idea, he decided it couldn’t hurt to just go for it. “That depends on if it’s working. But your blush says it might be.” Maybe it was revenge for all the times Draco cornered him and unknowingly made him flustered. Maybe it was for the gay joke he made once. Either way, he didn’t know why he was doing this. But he didn’t want to stop. Instead, he closed his book, rose from his chair, and walked around his little table to approach Draco. “Do you like the idea of a man flirting with you, Draco?”

Hi! I'm a huge fan of all of your works (but speaking as a fan of Ron the TWWW is my fave), and I was wondering if you planned on writing another story? I understand wanting to take a break from TWWW and your full-length AU (HPEGCF), but I was just wondering if you planned on starting a new one instead of returning to those especially if you simply don't have any more inspiration, and if so what kind of plot you have imagined?

So, I actually have tons of ideas I'd like to explore at some point. Argus Filch Private Investigator, Severus Snape reluctant baby sitter for a bunch of baby Weasleys+one horrible little gremlin (baby Luna), Kreacher kidnaps Harry and coparents him with a dementor... you get the idea. In fact, I'm like, seventy pages into a time travel fic as we speak. Not to mention wanting desperately to finish up TWWW and my Merlin Potter series. (Both of which I have tons of ideas for)

To be honest, the real problem isn't lack of inspo, it's lack of time and energy. I'm really prone to burning out, and thanks to my full time job I pretty much only have the bandwidth for one project at a time, if that. And the one that has my brain in a chokehold right now is actually an original novel (trilogy). So until I finish that up, or get bored and want to go back to a fic, or win the lottery and can spend all my waking hours writing, that's kind of where I'm at as far as stories go.

Honestly the dream at this point is writing a novel, selling it for a million dollars, and then going back to fics once I'm a professional writer. (Super realistic goal, I know.)

Oh god what just happened?! I just finished The Auction and I can’t with life anymore!!! I feel the same way I felt after finishing Isolation. It was beautiful and perfect and so well written and just EVERYTHING!!!! I can’t explain how i’m feeling; i still have a couple drabbles from TRAW AU and Birth Right (Lovesbitca8 has somehow made me a Lucissa stan wtf ???!!!) but i’m out here feeling like I want to obliviate myself so i can read it again like the first time. Truly amazing, 10/10, what a ride!
