Demidoll; Todoroki Isa as a Pro Hero

COSTUME

As pictured above, my hero costume consists of a few unusual elements. A skirt, for one, but also the pointe shoes and the thigh holster. This is because I ditched social conventions when designing my costume, opting for personalisation instead.

I did ballet for several years, so my feet are more used to movements in these shoes, allowing for more physical range and efficiency.

Similarly, a skirt is far more forgiving than pants, since the material will simply bend or hike up if I do a hard move, rather than stopping me. With this skirt, the only limit on my legs' movements is my own flexibility.

As for the goggles and the thigh holster, these are present to make up for my Quirk's lack of physicality. See, I can launch myself at high speeds, but I'm not immune to flies getting caught in my eyes, and I can start fires, but I can't handle the smoke and ashes going in my eyes. The goggles, albeit a little goofy, are important to my safety.

The thigh holster serves the same purpose; after finding out about Quirk-cancelling drugs, I was quick to start training with kunai and incorporate them into my costume. I'm not pumping with testosterone, and my frame is rather petite—a girl's gotta be able to protect herself even without her Quirk, right?

MOVES

!!! BASIC MOVES (Little focus required)

“Matter Shift” is a move that turns all of one kind of thing (ice, water, fire, anything I choose, within a chosen radius) into another kind of thing. I can choose booth aspects, like turning water into ice or wood into fire, as long as I know either the components or the location/dimensions of the specified (original) matter.

“Lumi”; a hip-high, semi sentient dragon made entirely out of blue flames (and thus invulnerable and immaterial). She shares my memories, and personality, and the intensity of my feelings affects the intensity of her (flames) and her feelings — if I'm really happy and she's angry, her anger will intensify. Lumi can be made larger without limit. Lumi doubles as a great housepet and hot water bottle.

!!! SIGNATURE MOVES (Medium focus required)

  “Attention Seekers” — Send out a Seeker each to track down the three closest enemies. If a Seeker reaches its target, it nearsights and slows them. Seekers are similar to Lumi, but not the same.

  “Traveler” — Lets me drift into invisibility and intangibility, unable to be affected or seen by people from the outside.

  “World Divided” — Create a Cosmic Divide that blocks vision, blocks projectiles, and heavily dampens audio. It costs more focus if the wall/divider is thinner, and is easier if the wall/divider is thicker. The length can be customized.

!!! ULTIMATE MOVES (High focus required, or is very powerful)

  “Matter Shift: Supernova” is a derivative of Matter Shift. It turns all of one kind of thing (ice, water, fire, anything I choose, within a chosen radius), into blue firework sparkles. Fireworks and explosions, more like. Requires little focus, as it only takes one second to use, but is very powerful.

  “Begone” — Teleportation of lifeless objects and/or living beings. Requires a lot of focus, especially if done with people and not lifeless objects (because one wrong move, one slight miscalculation, and they could instantly die). Additionally, Begone can be used to travel to entirely different universes. This is how, one day, while training Begone and testing the limits of it, I end up in a different universe.

  “Doll’s Domain” hurls a column of energy forward to a chosen enemy, pulling me and the chosen enemy into an interdimensional arena. Requires high focus (for however long it takes for either me or the enemy to be defeated), and is powerful. This interdimensional arena can take one of three forms (but I can't control which of the three it is, unless I use significantly/dangerously more focus):

“Doll's Domain: Omitted Omniscience” traps the target inside the Limitless. Once inside, the domain floods them with endless information, rendering them immobile. This is similar to what happens to Neito Monoma when he gains access to my Quirk during the sports festival.

“Doll's Domain: Artsy Palace” is a domain where my targets are hit with animation frames, forcing them to abide by the 24 FPS rule. Failure to follow the rule freezes up the cells in their body, disrupting their cellular structure and severely damaging them.

“Doll's Domain: Eye-to-eye” is a domain with nothing except a few pillars. It requires heavy focus from me, so if I use my Quirk for more than just maintaining the domain, the domain (and everything/everyone in it) could shatter, so I shouldn't use my Quirk for more than just maintaining the domain. On the other hand, the chosen enemy can't use their Quirk either, so it's a relatively fair fight with only weapons and hand-to-hand combat available.

SUPPORT GADGETS

Bracelet with several fidget functions, as well as a built-in flashlight. Also rose gold to match my jewellery and be subtle.

Vibrating ring, to remind me to stay focused. Also doubles as a fidget ring, because the outer part spins. Rose gold, to match my jewellery and be subtle.

Outer ear earbuds, so I can listen to music (which boosts my focus) while hearing my surroundings and working. The earbuds can be tuned into hero work channels like regular ear devices, but stop working when I activate Begone (depending on if I teleport out of range of the radio channel), World Divided (depending on the situation), Traveler, and/or Doll's Domain.

We end up tweaking the earbuds to react to my fights and be similar to an announcer so it gives me more dopamine (and more focus because of the increased dopamine). So if I knock someone out it'll say “K.O.”, if there's only one villain left it'll say “One enemy remaining”, if I take down a whole group of villains by myself it'll say “Ace”, if my allies all become compromised and I take down the villains it'll say “clutch”, if I'm the only one left on my team and there's only one villain left on their team it'll say “sudden death”, etcetera — basically, it's exactly the Valorant announcer.

BACKSTORY:

I was born in Lyon as the eldest of triplets, the children of British traveller and writer Robert Allard and French model and photographer Élisabeth Tessier.

Less than a year after we were born our father was offered the chance to host a travel programme called The Strider for the BBC. Together with our mother they decided to take me and my siblings on those journeys.

Since then, we have spent more time on the road than in our home in France. Together, we have explored Australia and Northern Europe, both Americas, and a good part of Africa.

Despite the unusual conditions, our parents took great care of our education and development. I had private tuitions, practised ballet and singing, learned to play a few instruments. During those travels, I have aslo learnt about the cultures and traditions of the countries we have visited and learnt a couple languages.

We have settled in the USA for a few years where my siblings and I finished high school. It was then that I met my best friends to this day; Judy and Kayleigh. I later got into Harvard, where I studied psychology and linguistics.

As for my career, I got my first role - Gertie in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial - at the age of six; I went to the audition out of curiosity. Later I also played the young Alia Atreides in Dune, but I didn't tie my future to acting. My love for it was born in the high school drama club. My return in front of the cameras was the 1990 film Millie, but it was with the role of Lex Murphy in Jurassic Park, which I got at the age of seventeen, that I was truly noticed. Other productions followed and with them came increasing success and popularity.

At the beginning of the university, I began to take interest in music - my first album, The Woman Who Love Too Much, was released in 1994 and it quickly became clear that I was as talented an actress as I was a singer.

At age of twenty I move alone to cottage house near Zurich.

Random facts=

My hair was actually brown growing up but started to turn a coral pink color(?) when I was 10 and was fully coral pink when I was 14.

‘Kyoko’ isn’t actually mine and Kai’s last name, the commission just changed it. Same goes for our names, ‘aki/kai’ only got to keep my middle name.

Me and kai live close by U.A by ourselves when we started going to U.A. The commission pays for everything, sometimes the guy who was supposed to be our ‘adopted father’ comes and checks up on us(he works for them and that’s who’s last name we took. He’s nice, I guess)

Got in U.A by recommendation.

Me and kai both have an eyebrow piercing, he pierced us both himself…when we were 14.

i had a deep bond with the whole diagnostic team in s1-s3, the team during the other seasons i also had a strong bond with, but mainly with kutner(while he lasted..) and 13. amber too, while she lasted (iykyk). the whole team likes my personality and no one doesn’t see me as a friend/they all get along with me perfectly. house is kind of like a father figure to my drself due to childhood trauma which i won’t get in depth on here cuz it’s personal.

i’m kind of like the second main character of the show. i’m not a main main character like house but i’m not a background character like cameron(example).

this is part I of my very in depth showcase of my wr which is a luxurious penthouse in ny. i believe you can get a feel of the overall aesthetic so try to keep that in mind as you take in the visuals as they all do not reflect the same style.

this wr is like any wr, to relax in and whatnot. however i am catering mine towards my drself (criminal minds) which is reflected in part II.

weather

i have the ability to keep and or change the time of day and weather. although, a very soothing dim rainy weather would be constant more often than not. the temperature inside will always be kept nice and cold.

companion

the most recent addition to my wr: connor, an android from the game detroit become human. he’s company and sort of a helper. connor can help with absolutely anything— he has tons of capabilities in addition to what i personally added to him. he can do a number of things such as help in redesigning the penthouse, give advice, help with scripting, etc,. although i will say his purpose isn’t to solely act as a strict servant or android per se. mmm, almost like a roommate? like how androids become “alive” in the game. hope that makes enough sense. side note: i did not finish the game, i just can’t

bedroom

my bed is huge and so incredibly comfortable, it’s serene really. this also moves over to temperature, it never gets uncomfortably hot— the apartment as a whole is at a very crisp cold temperature. i have fluffy pillows that never go flat and support me amazingly. the bed also has the softest, fluffiest, plush blankets— my bed is literal heaven. the sides of my bed have these nightstands as you can see, consisting of all my little necessities; phone, headphones, etc,. everything will always be well kept and never change in condition; always pristine. if i ever want a drink or food, whatever i may want, it’ll appear on the nightstand. as for the rest of the room, it’s all pretty basic furniture.

closet

it’s huge, i mean huge. it literally has an upstairs but i couldn’t find a picture good enough but trust, it looks great. it has everything i have in my pinterest, all of my wardrobes. it’s organized by the type of clothing and color. another feature is any desired clothing i find while on my phone or any other way, will just show up there neatly organized for me. i can also do automatic alterations to pieces that don’t fit me like how i want them to, useful huh?

kitchen

my kitchen is pretty big and has literally everything i could ever want from food to all the necessary dishes; pots and pans, glasses, etc., i can think of a snack or food i want and it’ll just appear there but sometimes i want to cook, you know? don’t know if that’s an unpopular opinion or whatever but i definitely want to cook myself sometimes. i want to have the option to mess around and actually make food, bake and all that— i think it can be quite helpful and i find it therapeutic. although the mess that occurs always cleans itself up or connor can help me (bc fuck all that). everything will always keep clean; no dust, no mess, no mopping or anything and will always smell good with whatever scent i want lingering!!

bathroom

these pictures are good examples but don’t do it justice, it’s bigger and has a few more elaborate details. the hot water will never run out, any wash for body or hair, bathbombs, essential oils, etc etc,. all that would be ready in the cupboards or wherever i want it. this also goes for cosmetics and whatnot. the whole space is such a vibe.

explanation - I just thought i’d add this in cause I love animals, it basically allows me to telepathically communicate with animals.

explanation - it gives me the ability to project my soul as a glowy, starry apparition that can explore different universes. the astral form leaves a faint stardust trail. while projecting, my body is always asleep or unconscious, however it’s better for me to do it while sleeping as it allows me to lucid dream, astral projection or just shift. another good thing I gain is that while in my form, I gain enhanced perception. such as reading distant energies, understanding cosmic alignments, or sensing people’s emotions on a cosmic scale. what also makes this more advanced while exploring, I can visit and travel to any dimension/parallel universe possible. but she also can’t get injured in her form so she can explore things without death occurring, like being sucked into a black hole.

downside - I can only use it while sleeping, if i’m unconscious, then I can’t use lucid dreaming, astral projection or shifting. so I can only just explore.

⋆˙⟡ ability 3 - star manipulation

explanation - I can manipulate small star-like particles, using them for attacks (star blasts), creating guiding lights, or forming temporary constellations for divination. I can also travel on the stars.

downside - my tears turn into tiny star particles, so I try not to cry as hard as I can so nobody finds out.

it’s pretty simple. I grew up rich cause my parents are pretty famous! my dads a doctor and my mothers an actress, model, and dancer. in elementary school, people thought I was quiet and would use me as a way to get to my parents. people would also leave me out on purpose cause they mistaken me as some rich snobby girl, so I got a job to prove them wrong, I have two other siblings too however they could care less when the bullying was going on.

when I was 14, I had to move to japan for 2 reasons. first reason is because my dad got a job in one of the best hospitals in japan. and also so I could have the opportunity to attend one of the best colleges.

Heyy, my name is Lumi and I'm new to Tumblr :)

I'm a reality shifter. I have been in the community since around September 2020. Since then I have taken many breaks, some lasting for months. But I always came back. And I hope that I will keep coming back. Simply because I think the concept is amazing. I mean, just imagine being able to laugh with your favorite fictional characters, being friends with celebrities, living in a fantasy world, going on adventures, having a perfect life.

I didn't shift yet, but I believe that I am close. Personally, I have a difficult time motivating myself, that's why I tried starting to talk about my DRs online. First I've posted some videos on TikTok (see end of post) but came to the conclusion that everything is so fast-paced there. I just feel stressed thinking about how long I haven't posted anything there when I see my mutuals content. I also find it hard to organize the topics, everything is kinda muddled up. That's why I decided to try out a different format. I haven't used this platform for anything but reading fanfics yet, so I don't know much about blogs and such. But I definitely want to give it a try! Let's just see how this goes . . .

The Liyue and modern GI are my main DRs. I've also been rewatching shows and anime that I loved years ago hence my Haikyuu!! and MHA DRs. They are my main focus as I'm writing this. But I tend to neglect things I'm no longer interested in. So don't wonder why I maybe post about something only once or twice and then never again.

I change my race in some DRs. I don't see why I shouldn't shift to realities where I have a different race or ethnicity if that reality already exists.

I also usually change my age to be younger. Since I'm legally no longer a minor some may not like the idea. I am childish and don't feel like most people my age. Most of my friends are 14 - 17 and I still feel like a kid. I want to have normal, fun teenage years since I didn't have that in my CR.

I think that's it. If I forgot anything I'll just add it later.

this is part II of my very in depth showcase of my wr which is a luxurious penthouse in ny. i believe you can get a feel of the overall aesthetic so try to keep that in mind as you take in the visuals as they all do not reflect the same style.

this wr is like any wr, to relax in and whatnot. however i am catering mine towards my drself (criminal minds) so there’s a few things and areas i added to get “comfortable” — i am aware that me in that reality is still me but it would be nice to just see my abilities bc they’re SO COOL and why not?

living room

a very comfy space, a normal living room but the main star is the tv. i have every single streaming service on it, no ads whatsoever— the tv can basically show whatever i want. being able to watch movies and shows as they are here, i’m also able to watch versions where i’m in them, other desired versions, watching my dr as the show; being able to see everyone’s pov and see myself third person, and a lot more. the possibilities are endless.

theater

anything i can watch on the tv i can move over to the theater for a different perspective AND i can also play games there. like can you imagine that? such a huge screen and the sound quality as i’m playing all my fav games? ugh i’m in love. again same concept as the tv, any game i want, i have— doesn’t matter the console or anything. the quality is a1, no lags or glitches, everything is AMAZING (the area is way bigger than what the pics show but you get the idea).

i have two. yes, crazy but who’s gonna stop me? i need both. pool #1 is indoors, it has that shower/rain feature you can see in the image— the overall look of it doesn’t quite match what i have in mind, but it’s similar enough. pool #2 is outdoors in that beautiful, captivating view at night (and day). spending time out there whether in the pool or not, is just chef’s kiss.

gym

this, and the next area i added is specifically catering to my cm drself. i made a company to account for my background and skills (combat), which may not make sense now but doesn’t matter for you to understand (i’ll talk about it sometime). here’s where more of that getting “comfortable” is coming from. i want to test out those combat skills and it’s even better than i have connor now. he can be like my training buddy, hand to hand to weaponry.

just like the gym, the shooting range obviously caters to firearms. i just feel it would be important to really feel out these things (regardless of being extremely proficient and ofc, it all being second nature) so i’m not completely “clueless”? get me? i just want to feel it all before i move onto my dr. i know my drself is not a separate entity from me, it’s literally me. i just want to mess around with the abilities i have. that’s all.

Maz is my main MC, drself, and by extension oc for obey me :) I’m going to refer to Maz in first person, since she’s me in another reality, sorry for any confusion!

here’s a little fact file:

FULL NAME: Mazzie-Gold Rees (I claim Gold is my middle name, but I have a hyphenated first name because my parents felt quirky. I hate it.)

COMMONLY USED NICKNAMES: Maz (What I introduce myself as), Mazzie (Technically a nickname because the gold is gone, but everyone thinks it’s just my real name. Har har), my roommate from the human world has half a million nicknames to mock my name, the most common ones being Magazine, Maztronaut, Mazturbate and Rees’ puffs.

AGE: 19 (Im gonna turn 20 two months into my dr once I shift though so I’ll usually refer to myself as 20)

GENDER: Female, I use she/her pronouns mostly but I don’t care if someone uses he or they on me

BIRTHDAY: 13/06/2004

PERSONALITY TYPE: ENFP-T (I retook the test thinking I’d get a different result to normal. Nope. Still ENFP-T, just less extroverted and more everything else LMAO)

HEIGHT: 153cm / 5’02ft (I round it up to 5’2ft because… I can! It’s only 1.8 inches away!)

RACE: White, human (but a human with wings… erm!) (I’m not related to Lilith though, I found a way to script that out but keep the small angelic power)

SEXUALITY: Bisexual, aromantic (aromantic is a spectrum! I’m not entirely against or disgusted by the thought of a relationship, I just don’t develop feelings easily at all and struggle in believing love is real so I don’t trust serious relationships. I’ve been in relationships before, I just never really cared for them until mams), possibly asexual (I didn’t change anything about this section from my CR so if this doesn’t make sense I apologise, I’m still figuring myself out)

In my DR, I have a loving but distant family. They care for my, but due to an argument I had with them when I was 16, we don’t talk much. They check up on me, but know that I prefer to just do my own thing and trust me to tell them if something is wrong.

My roommate did the application form to RAD for me without telling me cause she thought it was a joke (Daisy, girl, bfr) and I signed the confirmation letter because I didn’t realise it. When I proofed out of existence, my roommate assumed I had either gone on some sudden spiritual journey or something crazy or that the letter was real, because she’s a skeptic and trusts me. So my parents, who quite like her, would ask her rather than me if I was ok when I couldn’t talk to them when I was in the devildom. She vouches for me and says I’m ok and my family just trusts her🤷‍♀️

I have 2 siblings, an older brother (five years older) who I don’t talk to often but get along with and an older sister (three years older) who I was super close with as a kid but she moved out when I was 13 and we haven’t spoken since.
