hiii here are some quirk ideas for your drself, self-insert, oc, etc !!

** most of these are re-uploaded from my previous post that's now private- sorry (not that sorry)

| overdrive; allows the user to stockpile energy, then convert it into bursts of enhanced speed or strength. It also passively detects nearby threats by sensing hostile or unstable energy.

| encouragement: grants user a stockpile of energy to draw on for physical enhancements; stockpile only grows in response to praise/compliments/encouragement

| chain charge; user stores kinetic energy trhough repetitive movements, user can chain multiple releases together for consecutive enhanced strikes

| double team; creates duplicates of the user— can either be real or just illusions— with the same capability as the original user, once attacked, the multiples dissolve into mist

| lucky cat/maneki neko; a calico japanese bobtail cat mutation, including cat like abilities, and having and bringing people close to the user extreme luck

| owl; so many options— barn, snowy, great horned etc. wings, agility, speed, strength.

| red panda; appearance of a red panda, enhance agility, flexibility, sharp claws, enhanced balance, strong bite, and strong grip, night vision

| cheshire cat; same abilities as the cheshire cat, cat like behaviors, and purple/pink cat mutation

| meta-multiplier; allows the user to multiply other people's quirk genes into their own body, thus being able to manifest other people's quirks (yes like afo) the limit is related to the amount of previous users of OFA

| meta-mix; knocked off of meta-multiplier, the user can copy compatible aspects of other people's quirks and combine it into one

| shards; can manifest crystal as weaponry, shields, or just crystals in general. not the valuable type tho

| energy; energy manipulation. can transfer energy between people, from plants to people, from energy to bursts of power,

| synergy; increases the abilities of intended people around the user to complete the object the user has intended.

| upgrade; allows the user to generate temporary mechanical augmentations, such as armor or boosters, directly into the users body in response to situational needs, the upgrades adapt in real time

| great knowledge; after coming in contact with a copy of physical media (ie. a book) the user absorbs the knowledge stored within it

| mahou shoujo; user has the same general abilities as a main character from a mahou shoujo (magical girl) anime (including transformation, superhuman abilities, healing magic, great luck, etc)

| mirror; after witnessing an action the user can copy it flawlessly

| instructions; the user can see clear instructions to create and build devices or machines the user has seen/thought of

| requip; the user has heightened strength, and has a pocket dimension filled with weapons and gadgets (erza scarlet)

| shield; can create electromagnetic shields or shoot it out in bullets (violet parr)

| alien; has superhuman strength/abilities, can fly, energy manipulation in the form of beams and bursts (starfire)

| crystal; can create crystal structures and objects/weapons (lolirock)

| psybeam; allows user to transform energy into bursts of energy in the form of a beam (like pokemon move)

| overclock; can temporarily accelerate user’s physical and mental processing speed, allowing them to react faster, think more quickly, and execute movements with extreme precision. however, it doesn’t increase their strength only their speed and efficiency.

hi for anyone that likes certain isekai and is also a shifter, i've been thinking about this concept for a long time now but i'm not patient enough to be some kind of immortal being to see it all 😭 so i'm sharing

mha, jjk, and maybe even demon slayer and chainsaw man could all be one world, just different times, with minor modifications

jjk: cursed energy is the start of Quirks as we know them, the majority of society just hasn't realised it actually exists yet. it's the start of the Quirk mutation, before it really gets any form. mha left the origin of Quirks really vague ("a baby made out of light suddenly appeared and then like three generations later the majority of people had Quirks!!!") so obviously even in 21xx we don't understand what Quirks really are. and people have always had a tendency to explain away scientific things they didn't understand/couldn't explain as "magic!! witchcraft!! energy!!" so it makes sense that they'd think it's "cursed energy" and not "human evolution leading to powers".

demon slayer (potentially): demon slayer (and you're gonna have to take this with several grains of salt because i know a lot less about demon slayer than the others) COULD just be a slightly later version of jjk. a lot of people are catching onto the existence of "demons" (spirits) and "demon slayers" (jujutsu sorcerers) but still not really understanding it all. same things, different names (possibly because of regional differences/slang), slightly different times.

chainsaw man (potentially): the very start of Quirks as we know them, a midpoint between cursed energy and the full mha system. the "devils" are just a mixed demographic of the few humans with the more advanced (mutant) Quirk mutation and the spirits/demons, or how Quirks became a thing (Pochita becoming Denji's heart would be his Quirk/him getting his Quirk).

mha: modern Quirks!! modern HPSC (a fully developed, mainstream version of demon slayers/jujutsu sorcerers)!! where did the spirits and demons go? i don't know, don't ask me.

i can 100% imagine this as the evolution of Quirks if you wanted to, for whatever reason, experience all of these animes in ONE reality as some kind of immortal being. i might actually script this for myself one day (since i don't have much interest in any isekai except mha), but for now, it's on the back burner.

child soldiers is not nami's first album. no, the anonymous singer released another full-length album in the summer before this release. but this one might be the more emotionally charged more, and it's definitely the more popular one.

after seeing all her loved ones kill and be killed, isa/roxie after hearing about the horrific war over the news and seeing it play out from her safe spot, nami wrote an album to process her agonising grief emotions.

the album consists of 28 songs total, based on both villains and heroes that were her friends involved in the war. one song was released every day between march 1st and march 28th, the last day of which the entire album was released. it is speculated that the final release date is march 28th because that's the day jinnie LoV's Twice was murdered by Hawks died.

the album cover consists of a selfie taken by the members of UA's class 1-A, overlayed over a picture of the war, with the album title — “child soldiers” — written on top of it all in a childish font.

the track list is as versatile as it is extensive; overconfident anthems, professions of love and loyalty, declarations of hatred and spite, hints of healing, and buckets of grief. some could say that it's inappropriate to put negative and positive themes in the same album, but nami disagrees; that's the point. children were exploited in this war. they were made to believe they were cool, legendary heroes, but they were just kids who were robbed. the students thought they were legends, the government knew they were child soldiers.

each song has a meaning directly based on at least one person who participated in the war, some deeper or more hidden than others. will the listeners hear the story nami is telling?

╰ my phone. obviously, i need my phone. it has a cute gang orca phone case. my phone is usually at 70-80%, and i use it mostly for music; which brings me to my next item.

╰ my earbuds. listen, i just hate having to untie the cords, so cordless earbuds = my love. they’re flexible, and they’re green.. win-win.

╰ my pencil case. i never use the wooden pencils, so it’s filled with mostly mechanical ones. There are some sharpies, markers, and a few pens in here, too; with like.. four erasers.

╰ notebooks. i absolutely despise soft books, so i only have hardcovers. i also only have four notebooks in my bag. i don’t take notes during english or japanese (i’m fluent in both languages), so i only really write stuff down in math class, history class, and heroic stuff like laws and what to do in specific situations.

╰ first aid kit. fact of the matter is, i don’t always know what’s going to happen. my hero costume (when it’s made) will have a first aid kit on the utility belt, and i’ll keep one in my bag.

╰ tony’s chocolonely chocolate bar. i figure since i’m going to a version of bnha that has lana del ray and jenna ortega, it would still have my favorite chocolate bar, so why not.

╰ water bottle. as a yuuei student, and a pretty big one at that, i need my water bottle. it’s this pretty light green color, and i got it last year in hosu! i love inclusive shops <3.

╰ random rocks i picked up. in my defense, i’m highly autistic, and they’re all pretty. they’ve sunken to the bottom of my bag, and i keep saying i’ll clean them out later.. i never do.

personally i think they're treated similarly to idols(?). but j-pop idols tend to be treated differently than K-pop idols iirc, as in they don't have to seem single. could be wrong, but that's how i remember it

but also a hero's job is to make people feel safe, not to make people feel entertained/loved, so... i imagine it's probably more like western celebrity culture where relationships aren't really a big deal

I got a question for mha shifters. What do you think celebrity culture will be like with heroes in Japan? Do you think civilians will see heroes like idols? And if so does that mean high demand heroes will be expected to build an image of singleness for fan service like Kpop idols have to?

Because we already know there's a popularity poll for heroes right, so in order to get a high ranking, you'd have to keep your image as pretty as possible or whatever. And there's also that Heroes Gala thing too which plays into the whole celebrity image because it's similar to the Met Gala
