Just dropped this one on my Instagram and the reaction of my friends was mostly "why did you hand draw all of the background petals"

Well I can say it seemed like a good idea at the time

Hahahahahahahahahah! Finally! Finally my players have noticed the false hydra!

It's not a fully fledged false hydra. I'm not gonna run that memory erasure gaslighting on them. They didn't sign off on that for their waivers. But I have had this monster under this location and the lore around it written for over a year now. And they've finally killed the evil queen that had locked it up and held it at bay, and now it's loose and it's nasty long necked heads are creeping up out of the ground and dragging bodies back down into it's lair to eat.

Hah! And I scared the crap out of them and I'm so happy! I've been wanting them to get here for so long! They killed my mutant umber hulk hive before they could see how cool it was, they killed my kracken before it could drag anyone into the deep, and they managed to kill my giant mutant bug monster before it could explode on them. But this! The hydra monster! Finally I have a horrible scary monster that gets to do its thing!

They've had two sessions where the monster could have gotten them. But I had them roll saving throws to see if they took damage from a bite they couldn't see. And until tonight they had rolled natural 20s every time.

Yuan ti warlock (great old one) where the patron deity is an ancestor of theirs. Like "I got my powers from my great great grandpa. Sometimes he whispers to me"

Awakened mind can be like a Medusa's stare type thing. Entropic Ward could be little snake spirits popping up and meddling with attacks.

Eldritch blast could be flavored as like a snake head

D&D concept

Drunk calling is essentially Drunk Sending.

Long drunk rambles cut off after 25 words and the receiver will always get them at full volume at 3am.

Pathfinder 2e is another roll20 system fantasy RPG and was developed out of the bones of earlier editions of DnD. It can be a little more math heavy than DnD 5e, but there's a lot of interesting changes to the game that I want to look at. The Pathfinder system's main claim to fame and the reason you would choose it over DnD is the high level of customizability and the fact that game mechanics are developed in the Open Gaming License, meaning that rules and how-to-play are fairly easily accessible in comparison to Dungeons and Dragons.

The game would start at level 1 and take place in a modified version of the Forgotten Realms traditional Dungeons and Dragons setting altered primarily to include the greater series of options available in the Pathfinder System and fleshed out with aspects of human cultures from the Golarion/Age of Lost Omens traditional Pathfinder setting. I am looking at a fairly simple campaign, story is likely to develop but may be led as much by interesting story hooks as it is a desire to test out game mechanics in actual play.

I will be able to provide digital copies of necessary rulebooks to those who wish to play with me.
