Super, super, cracky LMK idea: What if Azure Lion and or Macaque tried to (presumably magically) baby trap Wukong?

Anon: The Peng, Azure Lion, Macaque and Son Wukong love Square (rectangle?) is somehow getting more melodramatic. Yellowtusk must constantly suppress his urge to run away screaming. DBK however? He's tempted to see how worse he could make it.

"What...happened?"

Yellowtusk sighed, staring at the chaos that had consumed the dining room. The Demon Bull King stared, unsure whether to laugh or rescue Sun Wukong. Azure Lion and Macaque, both holding egg-shaped stones, were furiously arguing. Peng gripped Wukong's collar, shaking the golden monkey, who just seemed a bit upset.

"So...Azure and Macaque somehow..." Yellowtusk sighed. "I'm still not sure how, but somehow both managed to make a magic baby with Wukong." He rubbed his temples with a sigh. "Peng's pissed and both of them are arguing over who is Wukong's heir."

DBK nodded, a gleam of envy shooting through his eyes before he raised a brow. "And how does Wukong feel about this?"

A squawk and a "HEY!" interrupted the elephant. Wukong shot overhead, leaving Azure and Macaque to gape at their empty hands. as Wukong disappeared deeper into the mountain, probably heading to his private chambers.

Yellowtusk just sighed. "Please tell me you have wine."

DBK pulled out the bottle.

Everyone knows azure wants wukong. Macaque, to fan wukong jealousy, has been very nice to azure on occasion. Yue and azure are partners in making the realms better and grow fond of each other (just picturing them adorably talking together while azure is holding her, and her looking tiny in his arms)

Wouldn't surprised me if eventually eclipsemane becomes a rumor

First, there was talk about Azure Lion being more worthy of the Emperor. Talk that it was an inevitability that Azure would either become a consort to make up for the shortcomings of the current Empress or to replace Macaque as Empress all together.

Then, after Yue's appearance and the sudden switch of how the royal couple treated Azure, there was talk that it was the Empress who was his true goal and the Emperor just realized this. The Empress is flattered and pitying at the face of this revelation while the Emperor is salty and short. It didn't help that the Princess seemed to agree with these rumors wholeheartedly.

The more scandalous rumors is that Azure was trying to go for both monkeys and that the Empress is on board with the idea, but the Emperor is on the fence since he is loathe to share his beloved Moon.

But those were just rumors.

I assume u mean the brotherhood and yeah pretty much Peng and Azure basically fall for Liu'er like Peng already liked Macaque way before Liu'er transmigrated and Azure was basically like "ok I'm in love with Wukong but he's in love with Macaque,, maybe if I join them instead it wouldn't be so bad."

Both of them are in love with Wukong but are willing to hate make out with each other. Eventually turns into mutual affection make out.

Depending on the fic, could either be Azure and Macaque fighting over Wukong or one of them trying to help the other woo him

Wukong at first thought the fighting over him was hot. Then he got annoyed.

Canon following idea but Azure's anger and willingness to kill Wukong isn't helped by Macaque fighting at his side.

yup! it's the final version of the dca that appears when you ""glitch"" bb world (the arcade cabinet in the dca's loft) (there's also an unplayable one in the burntrap ending area); referred to as 'eclipseman' in the game files, that was what a majority of that character's fanon designs were based on prior to ruin's release. after you hit the ""glitch"", it ""glitches"" out the game and gives you a corrupted "good night" message (in purple text) before forcibly ending it.

(there's also old, unused data containing the messages "hello?", "come meet my friends" and "he made me do it". we have no context for these, they're completely inaccessible in-game, and "hello?" is the only one i can find the texture for.)

and by "final version", i mean that the dca's sprites gradually change throughout the game, regardless of if you hit the ""glitch"" or not. here's the progression:

Read that one “Mac and Azure kidnap Wukong together” AU idea and wrote a lil ficlet for it.

All things considered, the farmer’s life was nice. Peaceful. Relaxing, even.

Azure Lion was happy here. It wasn’t his ideal lifestyle; but it was good. The labor required to farm their food wasn’t too difficult for him (if anything, the hardest part was being gentle enough that he didn’t tear the leaves off a carrot while yanking it from the ground) and the isolation was calming.

It was home. Just for now, not forever, but it was home.

“Oy, Azure!” Macaque yelled out to him. He was holding a pot and mixing it with a spoon held by his tail. “Hurry up and get inside! I’m already halfway done with dinner over here.”

“Coming!” He called back, picking up his basket of root vegetables to join the shadow. “You know, gardening would go by a lot faster if you just had your clones do it.”

“And let you slack off all day as I do all the hard work? Nice try, Bud.”

Azure rolled his eyes before placing down the basket in the small kitchen and wandering into the bathroom to freshen up.

“All freshened up?” Macaque asked when he came back into the dining room.

“I tried to be quick about it.” Azure said as he caught the dishes Macaque tossed him, going to set the table. “Where’s Wukong?”

“That’s a dumb question,” Macaque snorted as he started bringing out the food. “He’s in the nest. I tried to take him out for awhile but he’s in another mood today.”

“Don’t be rude. You know how hard this is for him.”

“Well maybe he wouldn’t be having such a hard time if he just got with the program.”

“Macaque!”

“We’re both thinking it!“ the monkey snarled as he slammed the final, steaming pot down. “If he just got his shit together we wouldn’t even be here!”

“I know that! But the sickness in his mind-“

“Oh, again with “The Sickness”-“

“He does not know what he wants, Macaque. We must be patient with him. You know what they did to him.”

Macaque’s jaw snapped shut with a click, shifting his head to avoid eye contact. Azure Lion sighed, rounding the table to gently grip Macaque’s shoulder.

“I want him back just as much as you do. And it’s easy to blame him for what happened during his enslavement to the Emperor. But Macaque, it’s not his fault.”

“…sometimes, it feels like he’s choosing not to be himself.” Macaque mumbled, staring at the table.

“Macaque-“

“He’ll just. I’ll see him go for the throat of a demon he’s fighting or start laughing at a dumb joke or just stare down an enemy with that twinkle in his eye and for just a second he’s there.”

“I’m sorry, Macaque.” Azure Lion sighed, and Macaque’s head snapped up in shock.

“What?”

“I’ve been trapped in that scroll for so long, but you’ve been trying to find and save him for centuries. It’s easy for me to judge you for losing your temper with him but I was never put into the position you were of watching him whither away. I’m sorry.”

“…okay, yeah, same.” Macaque said, chuckling as he shrugged off Azure Lion’s hand. “I can’t get pissed off at you for just trying to help. Now let’s stop the mushy crap and get dinner started already. You mind getting Peaches? I’m gonna check to see if we have any wine left.”

“Of course.” Azure smiled, passing Macaque as he walked down the stairs. “See if we have any peach-flavored left.”

“I’ll see what I can do!”

Azure smiled before turning to the door, taking a deep breath and summoned his sword. He started unlocking the first of many locks.

Hopefully Wukong would be calm enough to have dinner without starting a fight.

Such a good inclusion of Azure insisting that Wukong is not himself and needs them to save him. I adore that motivation for these yandere type villains, and it’s something I find especially fitting for the likes of Macaque and Azure.. they just want him back to the way he is supposed to be, after all~

Love the thought of c!Peng and Azure also pining for the c!shadowpeach, but could you imagine c!Macaque trying to fix his relationship with the c!brotherhood in the canon universe after all the shenanigans gets resolved (Jade Emperor Azure etc.)and ending up the closest to Azure because they have more similarities than they initially thought. And he goes to sundown universe and just absolutely blasts SD!Azure's ear off about all these cool things he learned and how Azure would probably like some of them. And just SD!Azure just being so confused, SD!Peng ans SD!Wukong being jealous, C!Wukong proud Mac is coming out of his shell and SD!Mac just being shocked at how casually this version of him is being playful towards SD!Azure.

Like:

SD!Mac: What r u doing!? He's a threat to our marriage—!

C!Mac: What? Pfft, no..! He's just a silly cat. Dude is a total softy, he likes neck scratches, he let's me do it to him.

SD!Azure: *too shock to operate* I-I what..?

C!Mac: You're totally adorable, big guy. Pretty warm too. *pats him casually* I should've really gotten to know you more. Can't wait to get home and have that night drink with you, you're a cuddler when you're drunk too. Had to call Peng to get you off of me. I'm a tiny guy, big guy, be more careful with me *laughs and sighs* I miss that lion... Mine, my Azure, my world's Azure that is... Not you, well, technically you?

SD!Peng and SD!Wukong: *cracks their knuckles and looks at c!Wukong*

C!Wukong: *puts his hands up in defense* In my defense, I didn't know Azure is a cuddler. I'm on your side, I'm mad as well. That should've been me—

In addition, C!Mac is, unlike SD!Mac, aware that C!Peng HAD a crush on him (Peng doesn't anymore) , so he would actively make Wukong jealous while C!Peng being better besties now helps him out. So C!Mac assumed it's the same in this universe, that SD!Peng no longer has a crush on SD!Mac and playfully flirts with him to make C!Wukong mad but because this Peng still does actually have a crush on him, it's just all around chaos for everyone. And C!Mac doesn't even know it.

OOOOO THAT IS FUN!! Love the idea of c! Macaque and c!Azure being besties and that just shocks everyone considering the start of their relationship was really just non existent

eclipse, we really arnt joking. We have no idea where Moon is. Y/n is already dead. And sun is seriously almost dead at this point- we're scared to be honest
