Hello!! I’m Edgar and I’d like to write scenarios and/or headcanons about the batboys!!

I’d prefer to write male readers but if you specify a gender neutral or female reader I’ll write that too!

When it comes to nsfw things I’m totally cool writing them but you will have to specify gentials and gender and because those aren’t the same things. I’m trans and it’d be sort of contrary for me to pretend that genitals = gender. However, if I feel uncomfortable with anything I’ll either not write it or write around it.

For kiss, kin, kill, let’s start with the holy trinity of Will Roland. Jared Kleinman, Jeremy Heere, and Winston. Then you get the holy trinity of lesser known Will Roland (that I feel like talking about) with Batboy, Joseph McCutter, and Collin Morris. Good luck my friend!

Kin Jeremy, definitely. I legit almost had an emotional breakdown in the middle of the Lyceum Theatre because of how hard I kinned Jeremy and we wouldn’t be here today without that. As much as I live for Winston’s mustache it would probably be kind of itchy to kiss so I’d go with Jared for that and then very tragically have to kill Winston by default.

Killing Joseph is probably a no-brainer. (Although does being Raptured make him already technically dead?) I’d absolutely kiss Edgar in spite of the probability of him accidentally biting my tongue off but I do kin him the most out of those three due to also being melodramatic, sad, largely hated by society and possibly a vampire. And Collin I’d probably kiss the face off of because he’s literally just That Good and deserves all the affection.

i think its fun when adopted family members look similar. ok when i say tgis i am exclusively thinking about edgar and thomas parker from batboy both being bald despite having no blood relation. BUT. it would be fun if this happened elsewhere

i cant bring myself to watch batboy because i know itll get me sad but id like to thank you for introducing the wonderful boy known as edgar into my life and heart

he’s too good………like really they just Had to have this irreproachable vessel of Humanity like, right off in the greek tragedy opening number like “watch the terrible mistreatment of this cryptid” and it delivers this wildly earnest well-intentioned bat teen up for just like, this Doomed Existence…..he just wanted to be Accepted……..and they were all on board until parker ruins everything b/c he’s the devil. eugh anyways we can always imagine the “parker doesn’t exist, or is killed really quick” Everything Works Out Better aus and stuff but yeah like, it’s funny that canon is so super weird in a way that’s fun once you get your bearings, but it’s also like……….lurking just around the corner are Real Feelings and Genuinely Being Invested and those sneak up on you sometimes :(

sorry i forgot abt this ask for a couple days l m a o ……..but yeah i mean even if nobody wants to tackle the Very Strange Greek Tragedy content of the entire plot and all, it’s great to just listen to b/c like. super fun rock musical, laurence is out here with the bangers Again……you’ve got the recurring musical Themes, but each song is distinctive and has its own Musical Style……..it’s super enjoyable imo. i mean comfort and joy is natch The essential number but the whooole albums gr8 imo

The last thing I googled: lol I was trying to impress my visiting relatives the only way I know how, be reciting Edgar Allen Poe’s the Raven in its entirety. I, predictably, got cut off after like stanza 5 but later, in a panic, I wondered if I *actually* still remembered it so I was covertly googling it to confirm (I mostly had just forgot some stanza orders and the starter sentences)

Favorite musicians: Florence + the Machine, Of Monsters and Men, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, Mumford and Sons and Train are my favs now

Amount of sleep: I try and shoot for 7-9 and I usually get it when I’m in charge but night shift makes things difficult

What you’re wearing: Long sleeved David Gilmore shirt I got when I saw him that’s so goddamn comfortable, jeans

Dream job: I’m real happy as a bedside nurse now but I’d really like to get into research/public health nursing and start looking for solutions to the problems I see in the hospital instead of just treating them... but maybe still do a shift a week on a unit.

Dream trip: LONDON, I’ve been chomping at the bit to go to England my entire life. Go to 221B Baker street, the museums, the music landmarks, get high tea, see general English bullshit. Thats the dream baby.

Instruments: I peaked when I played the recorder in second grade

Languages: English with bits of Spanish, German but I’m probably “””most””” fluent in ASL by which I can half ass myself through a conversation but look like a fool fingerspelling half the words.

Favorite songs: Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men, Wilson by Fall Out Boy, Delilah and 100 Years by Florence + the Machine, Written in the Water by Gin Whitmore, I Will Wait by Mumford and Sons and like a shit ton more.

Random fact: I have consistently, chronically low blood pressure (90-100s/50-60s) and I can, have and probably will again faint in public. It happened once while I was shadowing a doc and twice during nursing school. I now wear compression stocking every shift and immediately find a chair if I get that very specific lightheaded feeling. 

Aesthetic: My ideal is that kind of classy punk prep. I like high collared shirts that are cute but elegant but also super chill. Short skirts with tights and boots, pretty hair accessories and bangles. That’s only when I work up the motivation for more than jeans and a band shirt lol.
