I don't have many ships of active interest in the show outside of these; i thought it'd be fun to see what my followers, amidst this MLP infection i'm currently entering terminal stages of, think is the best among my favorites specificaly!!

After sitting with my feelings about the apology, I have some thoughts. Because I wanted to forgive and forget, but I don't think I can. I think, at best, I can forgive, but I won't be able to forget. The leaving youtube video was very out of touch and it took too long to apologize and admit that they fucked up.

I don't think they intended to or wanted to apologize and backtrack. The apology video being 4 minutes long and released at the time it was today makes me believe two things:

1.) They saw the negative feedback and decided to ignore it and hope it would fade into the background. They had all day Friday to respond but didn't. And they could have responded at any time on Saturday or Sunday. Hell, the apology wasn't even ready to go this morning. Which is further proof that they really believed support would grow for the subscription service.

2.) When they got to their expensive ass LA office today they probably discussed this and realized that they royally fucked up. Other youtubers were making videos discussing how bad it was. Patreons were rightfully pissed. They were losing subscribers and followers left and right. And I think something sunk in, and they realized they could not wait for us to forget. We were not going to forget, and the number of subscribers to the watcher channel was probably extremely low. They had to do something before they ruined their entire company. This is why we got the apology video when we did today. It was short, too late, and feels like trying to placate us too much.

I will give them props that they did make the right choice by still allowing free content, by making it up to patreons, offering refunds, and admitting they fucked up. But I can't shake the feeling that they had zero intention of backtracking and saying sorry. It felt like they were playing a waiting game and lost horribly and now they are trying to save face.

They are doing now what should have been done in the beginning. And I'm curious to see how it will play out. But I will never give them a dime of my money. In the future that may change but I have no desire to waste the money I desperately need every penny of to survive on a group of people who were so quick to tell myself and other poor people to go fuck themselves. So I wish them the best but they best learn to manage their finances and live within their means.

Also they are doing tasks, and one of them would be extremely tired so that's when they decide to sleep together until the others get done with their tasks.

He gets the throne for like an hour at max before he loses absolutely everything he worked hard on for countless years. He literally had an entire cult, and now he doesn’t.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Affogato was used to being thrown out of kingdoms for trying to take over, but his impeachment of the Cacao Kingdom just hit him different. He had never worked so hard to get so high and came so close to achieving his goal. He is so salty about it.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Well, apparently running out in the middle of the snow with no armor and monsters rising out of the sea wasn’t really an ideal circumstance. Affogato was running purely off of adrenaline, trying to escape from not only the monsters, but cookies too.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ When you found him, he was literally on the brink of passing out from exhaustion. He told you a story about how he was a simple commoner from a nearby kingdom, and how they had been invaded and how he had managed to escape with little more than his life.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ He’s a very convincing actor, so it would be hard to not believe him. Even if you did manage to know who he was, words of his betrayal could not have spread that quickly- especially when the only people who would have known about it were the king, his first watcher, and Gingerbrave and his friends.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ He spent a while recovering in your house- sporting some bruises and cuts from falling debris and monsters. He would have gotten hypothermia had he not been well-dressed in his fluffy garments.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ He keeps up his facade of being a poor commoner who hasn’t even heard of the word betrayal and was loyal to his king to a T. He is scared if he admits his past to you that you’ll turn him in to Dark Cacao. Even if you do become good friends with him, he will not reveal his secret unless you figure it out yourself.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ He is grateful towards you for taking him in and helping him. He spent most of his pre-Cacao-Kingdom-years with little to nothing, so it’s nice to know that he doesn’t have to start from square one again, and there’s someone like you to help him this time. He helps you around your house in return, including things like laundry, cleaning, and the dishes.

I can't figure out a way to articulate this that's getting me answers, probably because I did not get enough sleep last night but like. I wonder about this all the time. do they understand why they're spinning webs or are they just compelled and then food happens? and like I fell down a wikipedia rabbit hole and there's this one species that practices apparently voluntary matriphagy where a female spider will actively encourage her young to eat her after they reach a certain stage of growth and it's like. does she have some comprehension of the fact that she's going to be eaten? obviously it's advantageous from an evolutionary standpoint but on a personal level what's motivating her to do that? is it total autopilot? is it calculated? somewhere in between? why do male black widows seek out mates that will attempt to eat them? like idk humans have been known to risk their lives to fuck but spiders don't even fuck the male just kinda shoves sperm at her with its arms and books it so like do they get happy chemicals from that interaction or do they just have some kinda brain program running that tells them to do that? I just have a lot of questions about the motivations of spiders.
