Forever thinking about ghost martha fic. except a/b/o where ghost martha is so worried about her o!grandson jason.
Ohhh, omega Martha Wayne would lecture Jason about EVERYTHING. His nest, his heat supplies, his use of alpha pheromones on patrol.
“That’s your nest?”
Jason flushed, ducking his head before Martha could see. “Don’t sound too excited.”
“That’s three t-shirts and a dish towel!”
“The three pack was on sale at the dollar store,” Jason defended, lip curling. “And I stole that dish towel from Alfred, because you said I needed something scented. Otherwise I would’ve just had the t-shirts!”
“Jason,” Martha said, an omega whine ringing through her words. “Jason, my love. These schmattes aren’t a nest. I almost mistook them for a laundry pile on the way in.”
“I don’t know what you—” Jason cut himself off before he could swear, watching Martha’s nostrils flare. “—want me to do. It’s my heat. My nest. I get to decide if it works. And this works.”
Martha followed him as he sat down heavily in the center of his “nest”, expression softening.
“You need a nice thick blanket,” she said after a moment, as if relenting. “I saw one on sale in the window on 5th yesterday. We’ll go after lunch.”
“We will?” Jason asked, not looking up from his hands. Maybe pre heat was coming on too quickly. He already felt sluggish.
“God willing,” Martha said. She leaned forward, lips twisting as her shoulders hiked back. “In the meantime — get your shoes off that shirt, young man. You weren’t raised in a barn.”
“Just the Narrows,” Jason choked out, grinning. He curled up in the nest, making sure to keep his boots clear of the white fabric.
“Just as I said,” Martha hummed. “Not a barn.”

The Flash s09e09 - It's my party and I'll die if I want to Review
"The Flash"'s final season has largely been disappointing thus far. Much like "Supergirl's" it's full of somewhat baffling decisions and a keen interesting in focusing episodes on supporting characters rather than the show's lead. While excusable in "Supergirl's" case due to its lead being pregnant, "The Flash" has no such excuse, frequently ousting Barry to the background in many of the early episodes in favour of other show original/largely show original characters. In addition, ushering in a whole new character who is yet ANOTHER Snow sister/personality/whatever (who is actually a delight, but nonetheless a staggeringly perplexing move to introduce someone brand new for the final season played by the same actor), shelving Joe West only a few episodes in l, and rather wasting what could have been a truly terrifying villain in Red Death.
Still, there has been promise; the season opener went with a classic time loop but actually made for a pretty good watch in terms of grappling with Barry rushing to the expected future and Iris not wanting it planned out for them. The season has worked best when dealing with the personal issues of Mr. Allen and focusing on him rather than trying to speed run unearned endings for his supporting cast.
S09e09 actually does something very similar in that respect, it takes a tried and true villain of the week formula and uses it to centre on two Flashes' baggage, whilst also adding in a special guest appearance from Blorbow from my show.
Yes, "Oliver Queen is alive", but unlike other aspects of season his return is not handled too clumsily and manages to avoid feeling too forced while still delivering some fan-pleasing moments. My main concern with Oliver coming back would be that it would undo or otherwise take away from his send off in his own show. While it gets a bit handwavy the show manages to bs its way through an explanation as to why he can be back but can't stay back. This is still Spectre Oliver, and it's credit to Stephen Amell that he manages to deliver a performance that is 100% Oliver Queen, but distinctly the Spectre and not Green Arrow. At least in his first scene. Thereafter he's fully geared up in Green Arrow garb, and only able to use his fighting skills due to yet another piece of quantum babble, but to quote Diggle in this episode: "I don't care." It may be transparent fanservice but to see Amell suit up as the Green Arrow one last time is a delight and he (and his stunt team) have lost none of their fighting panache.
The show also takes the time to give David Ramsey's John Diggle some closure, giving him and Oliver the goodbye they deserved, after Dig lamented not being there for Oliver either time he died. I know I just said that it was a flaw of this series that it was spending too much time tying up supporting characters' stories and that should go double for those from an entirely different show but consider 1. I am a hypocrite and 2. shut up.
Despite all the fan pleasing moments, Oliver's return is not simply a gimmick and is in service to Barry's journey in the episode in dealing with his survivor's guilt, brought to the fore by Diggle's birthday gift for him: Oliver's bow, served with an unhelpful side of traumadumping. Maybe read the room before spouting off about how much you're still grieving your dead friend, Dig.
Oliver is thus the crux of this particular problem, his conversation with Barry helping to demonstrate how they both dealt with their grief and whether what they have done has made a difference. It echoes their conversations in "The Flash" pilot and "Elseworlds" and fits nicely here.
But Barry is not the only Flash dealing with emotional fallout. Seeking enlightenment, returning Keiynan Lonsdale - who at 32 has surely graduated to Man-Flash instead of Kid-Flash - is dealing with the injustice of his own troubled upbringing. Upon mentioning his emotional baggage to Barry, Barry - in a stunningly insensitive move for the "Paragon of Love" - responds by saying "what baggage?" followed by an implied "aren't you over that already?". For one largely cognizant of other's struggles, it feels like poor writing justifying conflict later in the episode.
The A plot ends up hinging on this, with returning villain Bloodwork, portrayed with delightful hamminess by Sendhil Ramamurthy, able to flex his acting muscles a bit more without being cloaked in voice distortion and cgi makeup as much as he was originally. His plan feels appropriately dangerous, in a rare example of a returning (half)season villain seeming to be as much of a threat in one episode as they did over a season. In terms of logistics it's pretty by the numbers: corrupt Flash's friends and family>use Wally's power to open the multiverse> take over multiverse with blood powers; but it fits here to keep the focus on the two Flashes emotional pain and also allow time for the guest star to shine.
It's not winning any awards, but it's still a thoroughly satisfying and sometimes affecting (if you're an "Arrow" fan) episode, and definitely the best of the season so far.

Inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's 1920 short story, "The Doom That Came to Sarnath," this new animated Batman film takes fans back to a Prohibition Era Gotham steeped in horror and decadence. It is an adaptation of a parallel-earth storyline introduced by DC Comics' three-issue "Elseworlds" miniseries "Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham" (2000–2001), written by Richard Pace and Mike Magnola and illustrated by Dennis Janke and Troy Nixey. At the beginning of the movie, Bruce Wayne is shown to be on an expedition to find Prof. Oswald Cobblepot and his crew in Antarctica with his three underlings, Kai Li Cain, Sanjay Tawde, and Dick Grayson. They discover that the crew was shipwrecked and that most of the crew members were dead. Amid the frozen desert, Bruce locates Cobblepot and follows him to a cave, where he finds one of Cobblepot's crew members, August Grendon, a disfigured and creepy-looking figure hard at work trying to chisel out a cosmic deity from the icy cave. At this moment, Bruce catches a glimpse of the cosmic being's true form and collapses in agony. Several mutated penguin-like figures attack Bruce inside the cave, but he is able to fend them off and capture Grendon. The party sets off on a course back to Gotham after a twenty-year odyssey, as proclaimed by Bruce, with Grendon as a captive, but a terrible misfortune follows them on their homeward journey. The film features a star-studded roster of some of the most iconic Batman villains of all time; all mashed together in a classic Lovecraftian horror-mystery narrative. Spoilers Ahead The Penguin (Prof. Oswald Cobblepot) The Penguin appears as Prof. Oswald Cobblepot in the film, a man who has been driven to insanity amid the cold, frozen desert of Antarctica after he and his crew suffered a shipwreck there. One of the oldest adversaries of Batman, The Penguin, first appeared in "Detective Comics" issue #58 and is well-remembered for his signature top hat and monocled look and for carrying a weaponized umbrella, and in the Gotham universe, the Penguin is a master criminal, famously known for being an advisor to the city's underworld. In this film, the character has been used as a sort of catalyst for the exposition of the main narrative. Bruce finds Cobblepot's journal among the ruins of his ship, which contains several secrets and documentation of his adventures and is essential to the plot. Mr. Freeze (August Grendon) In "The Doom That Came to Gotham," Mr. Freeze is alluded to through the character of August Grendon. Grendon is a part of Prof. Cobblepot's crew that gets shipwrecked in Antarctica, after which he becomes an agent of the "cosmic deity' (Iog-Sotha). He is discovered inside a cave by Bruce as he is searching for Cobblepot and is brought back to Gotham. He is responsible for the deaths of two of Bruce's most trusted apprentices: Sanjay Tawde (whom he freezes to death) and Dick Grayson (killed while trying to stop Killer Croc from breaking him out of his confinement). The film features a different version of Mr. Freeze from the original (Victor Fries) version of the main Batman comic book continuity, which has a different backstory and personality. Iog- Sotha The Cthulhuesque-cosmic entity, teased at the beginning of the film, is portrayed as the root of all evil in the film. Its figure bears a striking resemblance to the Lovecraftian imagination of an all-powerful and all-devouring cosmic being that is ruthless in its approach. It is the entity that Ra's al Ghul worships and claims had created life itself millions of years ago. It is seen as an indefinitely large, amorphous being with tentacles whose true form cannot be perceived by human senses. Two-Face (Harvey Dent) When it comes to Batman villains, Two-Face needs no introduction. The character of Harvey Dent, like all the other characters, is given a unique backstory in this film. He was a good friend of Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen and was on his way to becoming the Mayor of Gotham.
And in doing so, he becomes the target of Ra's al Ghul, who wishes to use him as a tool to open a gateway to Iog-Sotha, his master. He is poisoned by poison ivy and consequently becomes two-faced because of the deformity that the poison has caused. Created by Bob Kane, the character of Harvey Dent first appeared in Issue #66 of "Detective Comics" in 1942 and has since then been one of the most enduring antagonists of the Batman universe. Talia Al Ghul Talia al Ghul is the daughter of Ra's al Ghul and is instrumental in executing his plan to unleash Iog-Sotha on the world. She is the only surviving member of her father's centuries-old cult, 'The Cult of Ghul,' and has command over demons and other creatures of the dark. She traps Etrigan after he saves Bruce from Daitya, a demon summoned by her, and resurrects her father to bring forth the destruction that he had promised millennia ago. First appearing in "Detective Comics'' #411, created by Bob Brown and Dennis O'Neil, Talia al Ghul is a recurring character in the Batman universe, alternating between the roles of a supervillain and an anti-hero. In the main comic book continuity, she is even portrayed as a lover of Batman and the mother of Damian Wayne. She is also known as a member of the 'League of Assassins,' headed by her father and heir to the throne of his terrorist organization. Ra’s al Ghul (Cthulhu) Ra's al Ghul is the film's chief antagonist and the leader of the 'Cult of Ghul.' He was resurrected by Talia so he could fulfill his desire to summon Iog-Sotha on Earth. He births Poison Ivy from the inner essence of Grendon to poison Harvey Dent and create a gateway to the cosmic deity using his physical form. In the final battle against Batman, he reveals his true form as the monster Cthulhu and almost succeeds in bringing Iog-Sotha through the gateway to Earth but is finally stopped by Batman and Etrigan. When it comes to the Batman Universe, Ra's al Ghul is definitely one of the most iconic villains of all time, a title spot contested by perhaps only a few others. Created by Dennis O'Neil, Julius Schwartz, and Neal Adams, the character was first introduced in Issue #232 of "Batman," "Daughter of the Demon," in 1971. Killer Croc Killer Croc is introduced as a minor character in the film and is forever at the beck and call of Talia al Ghul. He is tasked by her to free Grendon from Bruce's ship at Boston Harbor and is responsible for the death of Dick Grayson, who tries to stop them. He brutally attacks Batman twice in the course of the film, on the say-so of Talia, and is killed in the second encounter. In the original comic continuity, Killer Croc, or Waylon Jones, was a wrestler who suffered from a genetic disorder that gave him a crocodilian appearance but with superpowers. He turned to a life of crime after being driven insane by the irreversibility of his condition. Poison Ivy In the film, Poison Ivy is born from the essence of Iog-Sotha residing inside Grendon for one chief purpose: to poison Harvey Dent, which she fulfills with ease. She takes on a demonic form while battling Oliver Queen and is killed by him in a final act of self-sacrifice. Poison Ivy made her first appearance in "Batman" Issue #181 in 1966 and was created by Carmine Infantino and Robert Kanigher. She is a recurring supervillain in the Batman universe and has been featured in several "Batman" issues over the years.

Superman #83 (November 1993)
Funeral for a Friend: uh, that one Green Lantern supporting character who died when Coast City got blown up (Joe? Gary?). In this issue DC’s superheroes pay tribute to the tragedy of Coast City while also deciding what the hell to do with the giant engine that’s now in its place. Weird early ‘90s Hawkman! Dr. Fate with boobs! Already-slightly-psychotic Hal Jordan! EVERYONE IS HERE.
Tumblr media
(Nice one, Guy.)
Meanwhile, Lex Luthor Jr. is also sneaking around Engine City, supposedly to prevent it from falling into the ocean and killing some of Aquaman’s friends, but in reality he just wants to look into the Cyborg Superman’s computer to see if he can find a recipe for making kryptonite. As the heroes argue about what to do with Engine City (Hal says drop it into the water, screw the fish), some leftover Warworld aliens start attacking them, like the holdout Japanese soldiers who never found out WWII was over.
The attack precipitates the city’s fall into the water and the heroes have to think fast to prevent a fish holocaust. Their solution is for all the Green Lantern-related characters (Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, Alan Scott, Alan’s daughter Jade) to “detoxify” the debris with their powers before it falls into the ocean. And it works! These guys should totally open a carpet cleaning business.
Tumblr media
As for Lex Jr., he does find the recipe for kryptonite inside the crumbling city, but just as he’s about to write it down (he wasn’t carrying any floppy disks, apparently), Supergirl yanks him out of there to prevent him from burning alive. What an unsupportive girlfriend. Anyway, Superman then takes some of the debris and builds a giant memorial for Coast City’s 6,999,999 anonymous lost souls, and Gary. Sweet Gary. You will be missed.
Creator-Watch:
If the art looks different that’s because this is the first issue inked by Joe Rubinstein, ending Brett Breeding’s classic two and a half year run as Dan Jurgens’ main inker (so classic that it feels a lot longer than that). Breeding will be back for Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey and other stuff, though. As for Rubinstein, Don says: “At  the time, I had trouble with the transition, being soused to Brett Breeding’s finishes over Jurgens’ pencils, but looking at it now, the art looks great. It doesn’t look as smooth or blocky as Breeding’s finishes, but Rubinstein’s hatchier style serves Jurgens pretty well, even if it takes some getting used to.”
Plotline-Watch:
At the start of the issue, Superman goes to pick up Batman to take him to Coast City, only to find him wearing a different costume, acting differently, and sounding like a different guy. That’s because that’s not really Bruce Wayne in the suit anymore, but the replacement he got after Bane broke his back. That’s right: freakin’ Psi-Phon and Dreadnaught.
Tumblr media
Superman gives a speech about how superheroes must work together to prevent another tragedy like Coast City from happening, but when Guy asks him if that means he’s going back to the Justice League, he’s like “uh, not yet.” Wisely, he’s gonna wait for Grant Morrison to get there first.
Hal Jordan’s characterization in this issue is interesting. In Green Lantern #47 (which came out the same month), he’s bummed about Coast City but still hopeful and serene, while here he’s already going Parallax on us. Wonder if Dan Jurgens knew more about what DC was planning for Hal than the other comic’s writer.
Tumblr media
There’s a cute scene where Superman is flying by Kansas on his way to Coast City and quickly drops some flowers for Ma Kent. (That, or Flash picked this moment to hit on a random older woman.)
Tumblr media
Former TV exec/crime boss Morgan Edge has released an autobiography where he trashes the Daily Planet’s Cat Grant for using her sexiness (and, you know, sex) to get dirt on him and send him to jail. He also accuses Cat of being a crappy mother to her son Adam. He kind of has a point there, because what kind of mom would let her kid play with an Atari in the early ‘90s?! The SNES and the Genesis were already out!
Tumblr media
Believe it or not, Morgan Edge’s pervy dad in that screenshot above isn’t the creepiest thing in that scene. Don: “Very spooky how the guy dangling outside of Cat’s apartment goes without mention. An ominous foreshadow of one of the very few missteps of Jurgens’ run.”
Tumblr media
But the most ominous part of the issue is at the end, when Clark Kent accepts Jimmy Olsen’s offer to become roomies, since Clark lost his apartment on account of being dead and all. Don wants you to know that “Jimmy is still in that towel by the way” in the scene below. I hope.
Tumblr media
Patreon-Watch:
Shout out to our patrons Aaron, Murray Qualie, Chris “Ace” Hendrix, britneyspearsatemyshorts, Patrick D. Ryall, and a warm welcome to Samuel Doran! Last month our patrons got to read an article about Superman’s bizarre first Elseworlds appearance ever, the Kamandi: At Earth’s End miniseries, and got a veeeeeery early look at this post you’re reading right now (since Don finished his part way before I did mine). Right now I’m preparing this month’s Patreon-only article, which involves Superman wearing pointy ears and Luthor wearing make up. Find out more at https://www.patreon.com/superman86to99
Oh, and in case you missed it, we’ve been posting Don’s new commentary for older issues on the Patreon as free posts (click above and scroll down to see them). EVEN MORE from Don after the jump!
Art-Watch (by @donsparrow):
Another classic issue, and such a nice wrap-up to the "Death and Return" storyline (as well as being a much-needed check-In on the DC Universe at  large).  We start with the cover, and it’s a very good one, letting the  reader know right away that it’s a big team-up issue.  (It also is a real showcase for 90s costume design, and how weird the JLA lineup was at this point).
The opening splash is a neat image of a rarely seen pairing, Superman and Commissioner Gordon.   Jurgens draws James Gordon a little heavier and more Pa-Kent like than I’m used to seeing him, but it’s still neat to see him interacting with Superman. A page  later, we get another rare pairing—the returned Superman with the imposter Batman, Jean-Paul Valley.  The tension in the interaction between “AzBats” and Superman comes across well in their exchange, as does Superman’s doubts about who he was really speaking to.
Tumblr media
It’s a dreamy looking Superman crossing the country from Metropolis to Coast City, and I daresay that they’re trying to channel Dean Cain a little as he approaches Kansas.
The best panel of the issue though is the two page spread  of all the heroes gathering at the wreckage of Coast City, and there’s so much to love here.  The body language, and facial  expressions speak volumes about each of the characters:  Superman looking swashbuckling and upbeat, Green Lantern brooding like a man barely holding on, Green Arrow all attitude and shadow.  Just a great spread.
Tumblr media
Another cool image is Aquaman showing up late, and emerging very royally in protection of his ocean (undercut masterfully by a legitimately funny couple of lines from Guy Gardner).  Page 14’s Hal Jordan is a great drawing, and this whole storyline seems like a table setter for the "Emerald Twilight" story coming up.
The sequence of a firelit Luthor  at the computer is a good look at his madness, but it does beg the  question of just how little Supergirl seems to take in.  He was JUST talking aloud  about Kryptonite, and she emerges seeming not to hear.  The image of  Supergirl flying Lex away as he struggles against her psychic grab is a  good one, even if her uniform is depicted as a little clingier than I imagine it to really be.
Superman floating above his obelisk with his arm in front of  his face like Dracula is a cool look, even if it is a little dramatic.
Tumblr media
Lastly, the image of Clark turning up the stereo is a good one, even if his hair length is wildly  shorter here than in Coast City (and I usually dislike it when they  mention real world bands, as it comes off trying too hard to be hip).
STRAY OBSERVATIONS:
I  have to love how meta it is to have Superman outright saying that Batman is dressing more “threatening” these days,  on page 2.  I guess he couldn’t come right out and say “you have an  extreme new look, and it’s totally badass! Batman the next generation!”
Last  we saw of Supergirl she was storming out of the party on Lex’s Zeppelin after Lex II was getting all horned up at  the sight of Lois Lane, but it appears here they’ve mostly patched  things up as they fly to Coast City.
More meta-stuff: Jimmy clunkily complimenting Lois on her new hair by saying she “oughta be on TV or something!”.   This whole exchange is very expository, really, “Clark must be pretty mad… though he’s busy worrying about where he’s going to bunk…”  Anything else to get in there, Jimmy?
Tumblr media
The harshness some of the heroes have for Lex Junior seems a little out of place, especially since he’s still known to  most of the heroes as an ally from "Panic in the Sky", and the "Doomsday"  storyline.  Superman’s comment was borderline, but where is all this  anger Flash is showing coming from?
Being  as familiar as we are with these writers, there are certain phrases or ideas that a certain writer will go to way,  way too often.  Byrne had a number of stories where Superman would  “ionize” something with his heat vision, and it occurred to me that  maybe he just liked that word.  I would submit that Dan Jurgens likes the word “atomize”.  It was used by the Cyborg  Superman when talking about Doomsday, and is used a bunch just in this issue.
I find it hilarious that Hawkman appears so prominently in this issue, but doesn’t get any lines.  This issue is an  interesting time capsule—I had almost forgotten about the de-aged  Starheart powered Alan Scott era.
Tumblr media
Speaking of lines, they don’t give Captain Marvel much to do in this issue, but I always like seeing him, even if his only contribution is the odd “Holy Moley!”
Colouring error on page 12, where Hal’s ring has a red centre (maybe the colourist had Alan Scott’s red and green look on the brain?)
A raging Hal standing by Green Arrow is a sad foreshadowing of their confrontation to come in Zero Hour.

Fabulous Olicity Fanfic Friday - January 18th, 2019
Tumblr media
Happy Friday! So this is my attempt to both thank awesome fanfic writers for their amazing work and offer my recommendations to anyone who is interested. Here are the fantastic fanfic stories I read this week! They are posted in the order I read them. This and all previous Fabulous Olicity Fanfic posts can be found on my blog.
Will Fate Allow? multi-chapter WIP by @mindramblingsfics - Seeing her parent's marriage dissolve at a young age made Felicity yearn for a healthy marriage of her own. She thought she'd finally found what she was looking for when Billy Malone showed up offering her what her heart desired. She thought she was happy and had everything she could want, but things began to unravel. Slowly she turned to someone who had become an unparalleled constant in her life...Oliver Queen. Oliver and Felicity are the definition of polar opposites. He is the mob boss that strikes fear in the hearts many, while she is seen as the sweet girl next door, but there is more to both of them underneath the surface. Along the way, they become connected to one another leading to their lives being intertwined forever. https://archiveofourown.org/works/16521596/chapters/38699951
And So The Adventure Begins multi-chapter WIP by @mindramblingsfics - Felicity spent her first year of college focused solely on her studies. In year two, with the convincing of her best friends Iris and Sara, she lets her hair down a bit. Oliver spent his first year partying with his wingman Tommy and living up to the status that came with his last name. He realizes he should buckle down focus on the most important part: actual school. Oliver and Felicity meet, and even though they are on different ends of the spectrum, they don't realize that they can each bring out hidden parts of one another. https://archiveofourown.org/works/15800025/chapters/36771018
Mine at Midnight - Oneshot: The Game Changer by @smoaking-greenarrow - Felicity and Oliver's push them together again at Caitlin and Ronnie's wedding https://archiveofourown.org/works/13131783/chapters/40510457
Mine at Midnight - The Things That Just Are by @smoaking-greenarrow - A lovely look into Oliver and Felicity's family time https://archiveofourown.org/works/13131783/chapters/40561988
give me something (to hold on to) (Season 6B) by @dust2dust34-reblogs - Felicity goes out of town for a few days and comes back to find Oliver's cut his hair. She is not happy about it. https://archiveofourown.org/works/11888871/chapters/31505925
Succumbing to Shadows by @allimariexf - Wordlessly, Oliver lifted her hand to his lips, placing a series of soft kisses over her knuckles. Unable to stop herself, she looked up and met his eyes, but for once she couldn’t read their expression. He was probably just trying to maintain their cover. But what if he wasn’t? She looked back toward the driveway as the Ferrari pulled up, her heart beating fast. And what if he was? https://archiveofourown.org/works/17256743
Home To You multi-chapter WIP by @the-shy-and-anxious-fangirl - Oliver Queen has never done what his family expected of him. He took a gap year after high school instead of going to college right away. He quit his fraternity sophomore year to join the student newspaper, switching his major from business to journalism. He became a photojournalist for a wire service instead of taking a place at Queen Consolidated. He went missing after six months instead of coming home for his sister’s twenty-first birthday. He survived five years of captivity in a war zone when everyone thought he was dead. He came home. But home didn’t have a place for him in it anymore. His parents were both dead, casualties of their own mistakes and a city they had turned against them. His sister was all grown up, the CEO of Queen Consolidated with a fiancé and a dog and a life of her own. Oliver didn’t belong in his old life, but there was nowhere else for him to go. He was a man without a home, without any way of finding one, until he stopped by the IT department of his sister’s company to get files off an old, battered memory card, and found a woman with curly blonde hair and bright, intelligent eyes chewing on a bright red pen and swearing at a computer screen. https://archiveofourown.org/works/12613188/chapters/28734552
You Were Mine (Just For One Night) by @bri-617 - AU They met at a frat party in Boston. Two completely different people -the genius goth girl and the billion-dollar-heir fratboy- and yet, neither of them had ever felt a connection with anyone else like they did during their one and only night together. Ten years later, they meet again. And that spark from back then is still very much there. Will they finally act on their chemistry or will they let another chance pass? https://archiveofourown.org/works/17276699
It's the End of the World As We Know It by @imusuallyobsessed - It's been nine months since the zombie apocalypse. Oliver and John are just trying to get back to Starling. Back to their families. If they're even alive. But along the way, they meet Felicity Smoak, a genius with a mysterious past and an impossible power. One that people would die—or kill—to protect. https://archiveofourown.org/works/17273426
Olicity Dialogue Prompt: Oh My God, You’re In Love With Her by @originalhybridloverfics - From Thea's point of view, Oliver and Felicity are in a car accident https://originalhybridloverfics.tumblr.com/post/181659680109/olicity-dialogue-prompt-oh-my-god-youre-in-love
A Soul Lost at Sea multi-chapter WIP by @tinaday3w - MAGNIFICENT regency romance where Oliver is a pirate who had returned to his previous life. http://archiveofourown.org/works/8181362/chapters/22297091
The Mark of a New Year by @wrldtravler - Olicity New Year's fanfic https://wrldtravler.tumblr.com/post/181680095377/the-mark-of-a-new-year
Olicity Dialogue Prompt: Oh My God, You’re In Love With Her - Part 2 by @originalhybridloverfics - follow to Oliver and Felicity's car accident https://originalhybridloverfics.tumblr.com/post/181692439899/olicity-dialogue-prompt-oh-my-god-youre-in-love
Penned with an Arrow - "A" Game multi-chapter WIP by @faegal04 - This is the first in a series of drabbles for the Olicity fandom. I will mark where in the show they will fall. This first one is from Season 3, episode 2 “Sara”. I have a list of quotes that I have written down and this one just spoke out to me that it fit within this episode. https://faegal04.tumblr.com/post/181710087919/penned-with-an-arrow
Thriving in Low Light multi-chapter WIP by @allimariexf - I know who you are. You’re Mr. Queen. (Set sometime in the not-too-distant future) https://archiveofourown.org/works/17303984/chapters/40700315
The Queen's Mage multi-chapter Complete by @the-shy-and-anxious-fangirl - Words have power, and mages, those with the aptitude to draw on that power, are few in number. Thus, their services are highly sought after by anyone who has exhausted all mundane means of solving whatever problem is plaguing them. Felicity is reminded of this fact the hard way when she is hired by Moira Queen, the Lady Starling, to find and return to her son Oliver, who fled his family home five years ago following the death of his father.
