Okay I need to talk about this before I explode.

I like that Palamedes is back. I like Camilla and I like Palamedes. I am absolutely delighted that Abigail and Magnus and all the others from the first book get to be featured.

I'm glad they get to be there, even for a little bit, even if they're technically already dead.

But like, fuck off Magnus. "You've made yourself a mausoleum to her." Bro, and I mean this respectfully, shut the fuck up. Again, maybe I'm fucked up or something, but if I was dead and absorbed into a partner that I loved deeply?

And they fought tooth and nail to keep me in existence? I would be very pleased thank you. If they didn't I would smack them in the afterlife and ask them why they didn't bring me back.

But I've talked about that before, what I want to specifically talk about is the contrast between how Magnus views Harrow's choice to save Gideon's soul and another person who becomes aware of what Harrow has done.

Magnus: she's gone you can't bring her back. Meanwhile she is back. Beautiful wonderful dumbass.

But Palamedes? When he realizes that Gideon is inside her head? He fucking smiles at her and says what amounts to "give em hell."

Like? Why is everyone so adamant that dead is dead? When that is very clearly not the case. I don't know I adore Magnus, but he's kind of an idiot here.

Starscream used to be in a trio w/ other 2 fighters,skywarp & thundercracker,but he left them after multiple personal & financial disputes.howevr in typical starscream fashion he keeps telling journalists the reason fr going solo is becuz he felt hindered.

Finally tarn got indefinitely disqualified from the tournaments fr blackmailling a certain medic to supply him w/ steroids & drugs,howevr he disappeared from the public before the cops got to him.still that didnt stopped tarn from continuing on the footsteps of his idol megs,becoming a brutal champion of underground fight clubs.

They are a member of the Elite Guard, a trained soldier, yet they are treated as more like a secretary, given the paperwork that no one really wants to do. Can you imagine the frustration? They are just as capable as everyone else yet instead of going on missions, they are made to type out reports. Yet they never complain. Never freak out. No matter how high their blood pressure (energon pressure?) gets, they keep calm and just smiles through it all.

Imagine they finally meet a decepticon. It's probably by mistake, the rest of the Elite Guard and team Prime were meant to take them out but Aggretsuko-bot shows up and just beats the shit out of that con. Straight up takes out all their pent up frustration and aggression on the poor bastard, beating them into a pulp, screaming about their shitty work the whole time.

The rest of the autobots turn to stare at Sentinel and he's just staring in horror because the bot keeps cussing out their "shitty boss".

okok I'm normal ahem... I'm really glad my silly ramblings caught your attention! I've discovered this podcast I think more than a year ago(?) and used to listen to it religiously every day while going to work. Most of the times I'd end up sitting on one of the benches inside a small church while listening to it before my shift, it was An Experience. I remember it captivating me immediately with the writing and characters and oh the story! And while I think that Jarthur as a queerplatonic relationship is so good and so valid, I cannot help myself from shipping them romantically because they are SO up my alley, ESPECIALLY after s2. Oh man. Season 2- from what I've seen is the least popular one but to me? Oh to me that's the best one and I'm warning you, get some tissues ready for that season finale. You'll need em.

They love each other they just dooo but they're oh so messy and faulty and fucked in the head and so... so human. I'm so pissed I lost my old blog forever because I had posted my reactions to all the seasons' endings and more shippy stuff, sigh... Well I'll make MORE now since I've officially restarted it-

Anyway sorry for rambling ahdkfkcl again SO happy you ended up enjoying something I, in a way, recommend! It is indeed not that "popular" as in, you don't really hear about it online as much as, idk, the magnus archives, so I'll forever be grateful to have found it and for others to LISTEN TO ME AND JOIN ME IN JARTHUR HELL!!!!

STARTING MY TUMBLR RAMBLING JOURNEY!!!! (Spoilers for TFP)

TRANSFORMERS: AFTERMATH

This AU consists of three main archs (with a fourth being planned for the future) :

-Prologue

-Aftermath

-Lost Light

- (Earthspark)

I'm still thinking of an acronym for my AU but I'm thinking it might be TFAM? idk,,,

Prologue follows Atlas! My very obvious self-insert OC (lol). He's a human who was saved by Optimus then basically adopted by Team Prime. He gets kidnapped by Starscream (who uses him as a bargaining tool to get back into the Decepticons after getting kicked out because of his shenanigans) half way through the story and learns about the war from both perspectives, and learns a lot about Starscream.

Well Starscream realizes (with some Atlas therapy) that Megatron kinda sucks when he's on Chaos Lean so he should dump his ass, and basically gives Atlas back to Optimus, which almost gets him killed and he goes into hiding. (It's much more dramatic, I can always write short stories for these scenes if anyone is interested.)

Everything in TFP (except the parts with the OG humans cause I cut em out) happens as usual.

But Atlas is on Earth, and realizes, "Shit, if these guys go back to Cybertron, I won't have anyone..." So he says FUCK IT, ROBO TIME.

He then spends the next five years (between TFP and the movie) building a body. He uses parts from a vehicon, (not Steve don't worry), Dreadwing, and car parts from an old 1998 Subaru Impreza he found in a car dump. Using Shockwave's tech, and some help from Ratchet who begrudgingly agreed to help him, he basically Frankensteined himself into this body and became the first artificial Human/Cybertronian crossbreed? thing.

He cleans up some loose ends on Earth (mainly evidence of his existence and some evidence of the Cybertronians' existence) then GOES TO THE MOON (with wheeljack, who picks him up and then takes him to Cybertron)

He learns that RATCHET DIDN'T TELL HIM THAT OPTIMUS DIED and he's sparkbroken :(

Ratchet was too though, Optimus and him were low key husbands.

Then we have AFTERMATH!

This was a dnd campaign I ran with one of my friends, I only had one actual player, who played Pierce-tail! The last of Shockwave's predacons, who he made to be a guard-dog for a small bunker he was hiding in on Cybertron after Megatron surrendered. The story follows Pierce-tail, who has mysterious magical powers that nobody can explain, and his fight to save Cybertron and Earth from Shockwave and Tarn, who've teamed up to rebuild the Decepticon army and colonize Earth.

Spoiler alert, Pierce-tail kills Shockwave and fights Tarn to the death and kills both Tarn and himself by literally exploding due to his powers overloading his frame and turning his spark into a nuke.

And then we have Lost Light!

Rodimus (Who was cryogenically frozen for a little while and didn't know the war ended), Ultra Magnus (who was retired from being Cybertron's ruler because he got too power-hungry and racist) and Megatron (Who's taking extensive therapy and learning to be a good leader and prove himself as a worthy member of society with help of Atlas) take a crew of 40 members to find the LOST KNIGHTS OF CYBERTRON!

(It's basically a big dating sim for my three players.)

I'll do big plot updates on what happens in TFAM: Lost Light, but anybody who's interested in this AU, feel free to ask me any questions, I love getting asks! They make my day :3

#Animation : ANIMATED THINGS!!!! Arguably one of my biggest interests of all time. Majority 2d animation with some occasional 3d stuff.

#IEYTD : I Expect You To Die. vr spy game where you play as a telekinetic spy and either solve problems or cause them (or both at once!)

#Hatchetfield : A trilogy of musicals by the musical production company Starkid. Eldritch gods torment alternate universe versions of the same town. Also includes the original series Nightmare Time.

#Rain World : A game where you play as a creature called a slugcat, and try your best to survive in and make your way across an unforgiving post-apocalyptic world filled with creatures that want you dead.

#Gravity Falls : Cartoon about a pair of twins getting to the bottom of supernatural happenings in a weird little town.
