the bit in vi when john is ranting about insurance (rightly) and he stops and seems to get distracted by a piranha as he literally says "piranha ◉⁠‿⁠◉".

i cackled the first time i watched that scene buttttttt i think he's actually indirectly calling william (and his company) piranha/s. the way piranhas work and attack their prey is not at all unlike how William, his employees and the general company worked on their own 'prey' (the vulnerable people).

(and i do think that william having piranhas in his office is funny...pets and their owners n all that)

Okay idk if this sounds silly but I grew up watching the Simpsons, and it’s been on in the background of my life for the last few years. I’ll just leave it playing on Disney plus on the tv whenever I go to sleep, it’s just become my routine. I find comfort in familiarity and atp ive seen every episode a number of times.

So that was just a long winded way of explaining why I’m so upset that my Disney plus subscription needs refreshed and I can’t do it, I’ll have to have my dad fix it at some point. Anyway I’m mad 😭 I just have the news playing but it’s just not the same bc yk. Familiarity

One plot hole I DESPISE in 911 is Maddie's name. When she went missing in 2x13 (fight or flight) the amber alert sent out for her disappearance says her name is "Madeline Kendall"

But in 4x4 (911, what's your grievance?) When the Buckley parents say they hate nicknames and Chimney questions it, going "But Maddie..?" Before Maddie cut in claiming "[Maddie] is the name on my birth certificate"

Now was the amber alert an assumption on the police departments part or is it just a genuine mistake from the writers.

It bothers me so much for no reason.

forever wishing we got to see Daniel at the survivors group in vii, because in the time between ii and vii he had to grieve his dad, he had trauma from being put in the house with everyone else, then shoved in a safe for who knows how long...he had to deal with the guilt of his last words to his dad being about going to stay at his mum's and that Eric is better at being a cop than a dad...he had to process how much he lost and how much he went through, and he would have had no knowledge of where his dad went or what happened to him, so he was grieving with no real answer as to what happened, which is heartbreaking.

personally I think, had he been in that survivors group, he would have been a shell of a human. he was already struggling at the time of the trap and then he went through all that...for essentially no reason. I just wish we had seen the way Daniel had gone through his trauma and his healing.

Seeing comments on Facebook like “Buck was always a ladies man” or “he’s never shown any interest in guys before” is why this story arc is so important.

Bisexual people exist and so often get dismissed or told to pick a side or that they just can’t commit to being gay or some other shit.

Just because you show a preference to one gender doesn’t mean you can’t be attracted to another.

And you don’t have to have your sexuality figured out at a certain age! It’s fluid! It changes! You could not discover something about yourself until you are away from toxic noise and finally are in a place where you feel safe.

I’m just .. I’m so thankful for Oliver and Tim and how they’re wanting to tell this story.

Especially Oliver.

He loves Buck so much and he sees the bi community and he wants to give them the best representation he can.

just yeah .. this story arc is important and Oliver is cradling it so gently in his hands because he knows how precious it is
