Teach a bot to kiss: Rodimus
I rewrote this a couple times and I might just do so again. buuuuut for now.~
Rodimus taps against his desk, venting out a rush of hot air. His focus is far from the stack of data pads and he is trying to keep it even further away from the human sitting on said stack. Your focus is on your own human size data pad, trying to help him out. Optics lingering on your mouth, your lips. The shape, the color, the way they purse when you're thinking too hard. He wonders if they are as soft as your hair. Or more plush like your body when he carries you. Your lips move as you silently read to yourself, a flicker of your tongue behind teeth makes Rodimus give up any attempt to focus on work.
A few nights ago, Swerve hosted a human movie night. You had called it a rom com. Swerve and you loved it. Most were perplexed, but the snacks and drinks were worth a stay. Then there was the scene where two characters embraced each other and started smashing their intakes together. Being the only human aboard, and thus defacto human expert, the bots asked you questions about the strange act. The closest any of them came to understanding your flustered explanation was a data transfer without cables… and data. Just sensitive nerves of the lips.
Rodimus spent every night since tracing the lines of his derma, wondering what it would feel like to kiss. More specifically, what kissing YOU would feel like. Curiosity leading to more research of rom coms. More research leading to more curiosity. Curiosity leading to want. There was one teeny tiny problem. Actually there were multiple problems, including the fact he was the captain of the ship. No doubt in his mind that Ultra Magnus could pull at least ten codes on what that was not permitted from his memory. The biggest problem, is the smallest.
You. You are small.
Most organic species are diminutive compared to Cybertronians, humans especially so. Rodimus thinks it's adorable, who knew there was something smaller than a minibot? You are tiny and soft and fragile. One wrong swipe of his hand had already sent you to the med bay. If he picks you up and squeezes too hard, if a bot isn't paying attention to where they are stepping, if you fall off their shoulders. Just being around his kind is risky. When has Rodimus ever shied away from risk?
It wasn't like you two hadn't been dancing around some sort of mutual attraction. Snarky innuendos, compliments, any excuse to spend time together. There was something there. Rodimus may not be able to do a data transfer with you, but he had a mouth, and you had a mouth. could he kiss you? Would his size be an issue? what if he didn't like it? What if you didn't like it?
"Can you show me how to kiss?"
Looking up from the datapad, you give Rodimus a questioning look. Clearly doubting you heard correctly, "What?"
He carefully takes the datapad between his thumb and index, placing it to the side, his optics focused on you, "Show me how to kiss, like in the movie."
"Oh… Oh um…. wow." You take a moment and run your hand over your hair, "You want to… learn how to kiss?" He could practically hear you panicking internally. See your temp rise the same way it did when he would teas you.
"Yeah. Cultural exchange." Rodimus chuckles, tapping his digits against his face plate. The way he says that has you narrowing your eyes and catching onto his game.
"Cultural exchange?"
"Cultural exchange."
"Alright… pucker up."
After explaining why you said that, a little bit of snark, and a little bit of thinly veiled flirting; Rodimus had you in his hands, lifted up to reach him better. Your eyes flickering over his helm, his finials, the lines of his hands. Anywhere but his optics.
"Nervous?" he asks.
You pause, a hand on his chassis to steady yourself. Eyes finally meeting his gaze, "Yeah…"
His spark flutters at the soft tone you take. "Yeah… me too." Rodimus watches as you find a comfortable position, glancing up at him. He doesn't want to say too much and make you change your mind. "I'm gonna… just… you stay still, okay?"
Rodimus nods and keeps himself still as possible, feeling the rapid beat of your heart through your hands on either side of his face plates. Carefully lifting yourself close, his other hand comes to steady you. It reminds him how fragile you are. A kiss to his chin doesn't give much sensation, but Rodimus' spark still jumps and chases his thoughts away from those thoughts. A kiss to his helm and he dims his optics with a hum. Intakes hitch when your lips find the corner of his mouth, making him turn his head. Brushing against your mouth before he jerks back.
"Sorry." He mumbles, shifting slightly. Patience was a virtue he struggled with. One kiss in and Rodimus wants more, to kiss you back, like they did in the movie. You just offer him another smile and kiss again. The metal here has some give to it, smooth, warmer than the rest of him. Which was a lot to say for a bot that already ran hotter than most. From the corner, to the center; small pecks trace the seam of his mouth.
Rodimus dares to give in and kiss you back, his movements restricted and stiff. Hand flexes slightly against your body. He doesn't like being passive, and shifts, hand still cupped against you to avoid another trip to medical. Every peck from you is followed but a gentle nudge back from him, the puckering eludes him. Doesn't stop the bot from pressing against your cheek, trying to mimic what you did earlier. It takes a couple tries to properly judge how much pressure he needs. It's more nuzzling that your typical kiss. A good first try for a cybertronian. Soft. So soft. All of you, but your lips especially so. Rodimus gets bold, trailing kisses. With enough nuzzling to find the right spot, your neck. His engine revs in response to your gasp. That was a good sign, he was doing something right. Another and your muttering something, pushing him away.
"That's for another day Roddy." You press your forehead to his chin and ignore his pout.
Rodimus presses a kiss to your cheek again and you can feel him purse his lips, getting a little better, "So I'm the greatest kisser you ever had, right?" "Oh my god…"

'Extremely bad': Tech expert issues major warning about new Elon Musk scheme
Technologist Waldo Jaquith, who has a lengthy history working in information technology for the federal government across multiple presidential administrations, is warning about a new scheme being hatched by billionaire Elon Musk.
Specifically, Jaquith responded to a report in the New York Times that Musk has been integrating his Starlink satellite system into the White House.
According to the Times, "the Starlink system is now said to be routed through a White House data center, with existing fiber cables, miles from the complex."

My kid asked me to explain blood types to her today, which made me remember the odd little fact that in the character profiles that appeared at the ends of the earliest Bleach volumes, there are blood types listed for the human characters, but not for the shinigami characters. Shinigami obviously have blood, we've all seen it, we've seen so much of it, honestly, but is it like blood blood? Is blood transfusion a thing they do?
I did not have any particular recollection of anyone ever receiving a blood transfusion in Bleach, but I looked up all the hospital scenes I could think of off the top of my head. Both Byakuya nor Hinamori have sort of a notable absence of things sticking out of them. I'm no expert and I don't even particular like doctor shows, but this is a situation where I would expect both of them to have IVs for hydration, if nothing else. Hinamori's got a respirator and some mysterious carts off to her far side, at least, and maybe Byakuya's just far enough on the upswing that he doesn't need it anymore.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next shot was the famous Rukia and Renji sharing a hospital room scene.
Tumblr media
Renji's respirator goes...under his blanket? Is this right? This doesn't seem right. Rukia doesn't seem particularly attached to anything, although there's kind of a bundle of wires? tubes? coming out of her right shoulder area. You can see them better in this shot:
Tumblr media
That sure doesn't look like medical grade tubing, the lower one looks kinda like Hihiou Zabimaru, tbh. IVs usually work by gravity, no? Also those tubes are way too big to be going into someone's veins.
Finally, here's Kira, getting his dubious Squad 12 medical procedure.
Tumblr media
More shady, giant, intestine-ass looking tubes that... go into him? wtf. They're attached to a computer. Maybe these are data cables?
The upshot of all of this is that I don't think shinigami have blood transfusions. I can't imagine that they don't know about them, so I imagine it's more of a case of their blood is just part of their soul, like, all of them is just soul all the way down, and it would be nearly impossible to accept a transfusion that was made of someone else's soul (soulmate-enjoying fanfic writers, take note). They do like sticking tubes in people, tho.
This sucks because when I was originally thinking about this, of course I was thinking about all the blood Renji has in his body and whether or not he's a universal donor, because, frankly, if he is, I think they would have a special framed painting of him at Squad 4 and let him have as much donuts and apple juice as he wants.
I think the main reason manga list characters' bloodtypes anyway is because Japanese people use it as a personality test, similar to horoscopes. For the record, here are the characters whose blood types we know:
Ichigo - AO Orihime - BO Chad - AO Tatsuki - AO Isshin - AB Uryuu - AB Don Kanonji (????) - BO
When I was trying to look up what they meant, I found this hilarious graphic, thank you verywellmind dot com
Tumblr media
Looks to me like these blood types were definitely chosen to tie into personality at least to some degree (I'm not sure about Isshin, but he probably has fake Urahara Shouten-brand gigai blood-substitute anyway, so I am choosing not to read too deeply into that). Anyway, along those lines, judging from this chart, if we wanted to bootstrap Renji's blood type from his personality, I think he would, in fact, clearly fit into the idiot-on-a-skateboard quadrant. So he is a universal donor! (or at least he would be, if he were filled with blood instead of high-concentration ghost juice.)

Lost and found.
________________
Bumblebee was out scouting the area.
He made sure his tracker is on, something prowl has been nagging other bots to do since last incident with the ‘bridge’ an earth month ago.
Bumblebee transforms and climbs on the boulder, looks around, optics scanned the area for any sign of suspicious activity. ‘So far, nothing out of the ordinary.’ He thought to himself, before finally deciding to leave…
Is what he would’ve done, but something caught the corner of his optics. Curiosity getting the better of him, as the scout decides to take a better look.
He slid down off the rock he was on and knelt to look at it a bit closer, optics widened at the object. ‘A decepticon weapon!’ He thought in surprise, staring down at the gun imprinted with the decepticon insignia.
Bumblebee looked to the left, the right and back down at the weapon before taking it in his servos. Examining it like how ironhide taught him.
“Hm.. needs a good polish, but seems functional…safety is off.” He said to himself aiming towards another boulder a bit far from where he is.
‘Hold steady, focus on the target.. use the scope and-.’
Just as bumblebee pulled the trigger, it shot out the typical purple laser beam… and blasts the boulder to nonexistent, while also leaving a gaping hole on the side of the mountain.
Bumblebee stares at the damage, back at the gun, back to the damage. Put the safety on and placed it in his subspace. “Wheeljack and ironhide it is.”
He says out loud, transforming into his Volkswagen Beetle and drove off back to the ark.
*back at the ark*
“Hmm… yep, it’s a decepticon weapon alright.” Ironhide says, noding his helm at the weapon being held by Wheeljack. “And definitely modified too.”
Wheeljack took notice, placing the weapon back down on the examination table. “And you said it was 40 peds away from base?” Ironhide asks, bumblebee confirms with a nod.
“So… what should we do?” Bumblebee asks, eying the… honestly strangely familiar weapon.. bumblebee desperately tries but… he can’t remember exactly where he had seen it.
“We should probably wait until Optimus comes back, that way we’ll know what to do with it.” Wheeljack suggests, both the scout and weapons expert agreed with a nod. “I can take care of the gun until then.”
Bumblebee asks, making ironhide and Wheeljack stare like he has a second head. “What? It needs a good polish. Besides, you’re both on duty.”
“A’ight, you convinced me little buddy. Be sure to keep it on safety while you’re at it.” Ironhide warns, walking off to his post as bumblebee took the weapon in his servos. “Don’t worry hide, I’ll be careful.” Bumblebee promises.
Walking back to his berth room with the decepticon weapon in hand. Thinking of many ways to bring the weapon back.
*time skip*
With the gun in his servos again, bumblebee polished the weapon throughly until its looks shiny and new. Looking over at it once more, bumblebee nodded in pride as he saw no dirt or grime.
‘All that practice payed off, thanks ratchet.’ He thought placing the weapon down and picking up the data pad, writing down on said data pad about the weapons return.
He wrote.. rewrote and added his own thoughts on the matter as well as adding that they needed a weapon polisher for the gun.
Bumblebee nods at the data pad, happily placing it down, suddenly a big yawn escaped his intake, exhaustion caught up to him.
‘That took longer than I thought.’ Bumblebee thinks. Fighting the urge to sleep at the comms.
Fighting to keep his optics online, he groggily got up, walked over to his berth as he stretch his cables with another yawn, lies down and crashes in recharge.
The minibot’s optics still fought… then went into a peaceful recharge.
Blissfully unaware to his surroundings…
To be continued.
________________
… it’s supposed to be a whole story…
but it got a bit too long for my taste and a little bit too complicated sooo I shortened it! Just something to write a bit.
Anyways… I got board, I hope this fic isn’t too… much or too less on information…
I’m… trying to get better at plot twisting and big reveals for later fics. I hope this succeeds.

Does your 1219 have a nickname?
Also, I was wondering if you have any fun stories surrounding it! Strange quirks it has or anything like that.
I'd love to see more photos if you're allowed to post them!
Thanks for the question! These are my favorite part about my blog by far.
Not exactly, the UNIVAC 1219 doesn’t have a nickname. I did realize recently that I should specify the pronunciation (Twelve-Nineteen), but it doesn’t have any nicknames. Apart from ‘the 1219’, it’s also regularly referred to as the CPU or just ‘the computer’.
Fun stories or weird quirks? Boy, I could fill a book with this machine’s weird quirks (or as we say, intermittent issues), but I’ll try to blitz through the most common ones:
Sometimes the computer will stop running and enter a WAIT mode. No reason, it just needs a break. We can’t fix it, it just has to decide to go back into operating mode.
The computer will often start attempting to communicate on IO channel 13. We’re not telling it to talk to anything, it just decides to try to.
One of our teletypes (the Kleinshmidt) stamps ink splotches into the paper rather than characters most of the time. However, this weekend it worked for the first time in 10 months! We didn’t change anything, it just had an extra cup of coffee or something.
The Digital Data Recorder, or the tape drive, has the most gremlins out of any of our units. The top handler works fairly well, but the bottom handler won’t properly read data, write data, move the tape forward, initialize the tape, or any number of other issues.
There’s more but hopefully this satisfies your curiosity.
Fun stories? Well, I can’t name any specific ones, but I can say it’s a very endearing machine. It’s the very last of its kind and being one of three individuals in the world responsible for it makes every issue that more frustrating. There is no real forum for it, the subject matter experts sit next to me and are often just as exasperated as I am.
But the unique nature of this situation make every successful diagnostic test that much sweeter. Every new addition (5.25” floppy drive via serial) that much cooler. I have an IBM PC-XT clone at home, but I thank my lucky stars every day that this big iron is what I get to specialize in.
As for more photos, I have none that are as grandiose as you would probably expect. I do have my working photos though. I took all my photos when I first started working on it and now I am more dedicated to fixes than photo-ops.
Tumblr media
This is a photo of our finicky Kleinshmidt teletype. Still has blotches but it actually printed!
Tumblr media
This is the back of the bottom handler. Pictured is the vacuum pump in the bottom left (so sudden stops just yank magnetic tape slack rather than ripping tape). The big cylinder in the center is a motor for running the magnetic tape handler itself. The big black ‘hose’ of wires coming out of the steel plate contains all the cables that come right off the handler’s head for reading and writing data!
Tumblr media
This is the forward pinch roller of the bottom handler. It was replaced after this photo was taken as you can see the rubber has deteriorated in the 55 years this machine has been operating.
As for being allowed to post photos, that’s not an issue. The last 1219 was decommissioned in 2014 and now you can find all of its documentation online at http://www.bitsavers.org/pdf/univac/military/1219/

Musk can just order service to these places shut down anytime he wants. He also knows the banking and I'm tax info of everyone in the country now too if he ever feels threatened by anyone.
More and more we won't be able to trust any data from the government.

I am by no means an expert on technology or how computers and the internet work, but I will try to explain.
Computers are electronic devices made to store, use, and process data. Computers can “talk” to other computers by using cables and/or wireless systems (frequencies sent between computers or to satellites, which act as bridges between computers).
The internet is a the culmination of computers all over the world (operated by people, generally) talking to each other in one gigantic, shared network. It allows anyone with a computer and a way to transfer signals to access any information broadcast by anyone else.
Though the internet is a wonderful thing with nearly limitless potential for spreading knowledge and general goodness, it is a double-edged sword. The internet allows malicious people to coordinate attacks and violate others’ privacy.
Search engines — like “Google” as mentioned by other askers — are programs that help organize any information put on the internet into a format where one can “search” a term or phrase to find relevant information on the internet.
For example, if you search “dog” into Google, it will browse the internet and show you relevant pictures, websites, and videos regarding dogs.
I hope this makes sense!
Thank you for taking the time to provide me with such a thorough explanation of this technology. It seems you are right in calling it a double-edged sword.
Power unchecked breeds chaos. I would imagine this the Internet, in providing a vast wealth of information, similarly gives one access to deception and manipulation. Still, knowledge is power. And those who understand the machine control its destiny.

A Venmo account under the name “Michael Waltz,” carrying a profile photo of the national security adviser and connected to accounts bearing the names of people closely associated with him, was left open to the public until Wednesday afternoon. A WIRED analysis shows that the account revealed the names of hundreds of Waltz’s personal and professional associates, including journalists, military officers, lobbyists, and others—information a foreign intelligence service or other actors could exploit for any number of ends, experts say.
Among the accounts linked to “Michael Waltz” are ones that appear to belong to Susie Wiles, the White House chief of staff, and Walker Barrett, a staffer on the United States National Security Council. Both were fellow participants in a now-infamous Signal group chat called “Houthi PC small group.”
The White House declined to comment after being presented with WIRED’s findings, but the accounts appearing to belong to Waltz and Wiles went fully private following WIRED’s inquiry.
Earlier this week, The Atlantic reported that an account with the name “Michael Waltz” accidentally invited the publication’s editor in chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, to the chat, in which senior administration officials discussed plans for a strike on Yemen. (Waltz told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham he takes “full responsibility” for inviting Goldberg, adding, “We have some of the best technology minds looking at how this happened.”) Over the encrypted messaging app, which Department of Defense guidelines bar from being used for the discussion of any nonpublic defense information, the group debated whether a strike should be carried out at all. Hours after an account with the name of defense secretary Pete Hegseth shared missile targets, strike timing, and other highly sensitive operational details of a coming strike, US forces bombed Houthi targets in Yemen, reportedly killing at least 53 people.
A WIRED review of public data exposed on Venmo accounts associated with senior administration officials suggests that the Signal group chat was not an isolated mistake, but part of a broader pattern of what national security experts describe as reckless behavior by some of the most powerful people in the US government.
The Venmo account under Waltz’s name includes a 328-person friend list. Among them are accounts sharing the names of people closely associated with Waltz, such as Barrett, formerly Waltz’s deputy chief of staff when Waltz was a member of the House of Representatives, and Micah Thomas Ketchel, former chief of staff to Waltz and currently a senior adviser to Waltz and President Donald Trump.
Other accounts carry the names of a wide range of media figures, from on-air personalities like Bret Baier and Brian Kilmeade of Fox News and Brianna Keilar and Kristen Holmes of CNN to a cable news producer, a prominent national security reporter, local news anchors, documentarians, and noted conspiracy theorist Ivan Raiklin, who calls himself the “the secretary of retribution” and once created a deep state target list. (Fox News declined to comment; CNN did not respond to a request for comment.)
Many of the accounts appear to belong to local and national politicians and political operatives ranging from US representative Dan Crenshaw of Texas to a former mayor of Deltona, Florida, as well as venture capitalists, defense industry entrepreneurs, and executives like Christian Brose, the president of defense tech giant Anduril. (Crenshaw’s office and Anduril did not respond to requests for comment.)
One of the most notable appears to belong to Wiles, one of Trump’s most trusted political advisers. That account’s 182-person friend list includes accounts sharing the names of influential figures like Pam Bondi, the US attorney general, and Hope Hicks, Trump’s former White House communications director.
While none of the Venmo transactions for the account listed for Waltz, Wiles, or Barrett were publicly visible, it appears that none of them had opted out of sharing their contact list, allowing their friend lists to remain visible to the public. After WIRED reached out to the White House for comment, both Waltz and Wiles appeared to change their Venmo privacy settings to hide their friend lists.
Venmo spokesperson Erin Mackey said in a statement, “We take our customers’ privacy seriously, which is why we let customers choose their privacy settings on Venmo for both their individual payments and friends lists—and we make it incredibly simple for customers to make these private if they choose to do so.” The comment is nearly identical to the one Venmo provided to WIRED in response to a 2024 story about now-vice president JD Vance’s Venmo.
Last July, WIRED reported that Vance had left his Venmo account public, exposing a network of connections to Project 2025 architects, DOJ officials, Yale Law classmates, and far-right media figures. (While it was not reported at the time, WIRED’s analysis of that public Venmo account—and the networks of his listed friends—found that the Michael Waltz Venmo account appeared in Vance’s extended network, comprising friends and friends of friends.) According to The Atlantic, Vance was also an active participant in the Signal chat alongside Waltz, where he questioned whether the planned military operation in Yemen aligned with President Trump’s broader message on Europe.
When the Michael Waltz account was set up in 2017, the app would display a prompt allowing users to sync their phone contacts, automatically populating their friends list with anyone in their address book already using the platform. Privacy advocates, including the Electronic Frontier Foundation, criticized this design, arguing that it exposes users to unnecessary risks by making social connections public by default. It wasn’t until BuzzFeed News revealed in 2021 that then-president Joe Biden was easily found on the app that Venmo, which is owned by PayPal, added the option to hide friend lists. But that setting remains opt-in. According to its privacy policy, unless users proactively change their privacy settings, their network remains visible to anyone.
Mixed in with the high-profile names connected to the apparent Waltz Venmo account are a number of accounts appearing to belong to ordinary people, such as several doctors, real estate agents, and a tailor. These are the kinds of low-level connections that, experts say, spies look at for basic information—a relationship with a medical specialist could expose that a person is being treated for an illness that hasn’t been made public—as well as patterns, pressure points, or a way in. Experts call them “soft targets”: people who have access but aren’t protected.
For instance, when the US and Israel reportedly sabotaged Iran’s nuclear program with the Stuxnet virus, they used a control engineer’s USB stick, not one belonging to a senior official. Chinese intelligence has used similar tactics, contacting thousands of foreign citizens using LinkedIn or going after university students to get closer to US researchers and companies. While WIRED has found no evidence that foreign adversaries have used Venmo to target a US politician’s network, the platform makes these relationships visible—potentially giving adversaries a searchable map of the people around power.
“The first thing you think of is the counterintelligence issue, right? And the security vulnerabilities. It kind of boggles the mind, in a way,” says Michael Ard, a former intelligence analyst who now runs the masters program in intelligence analysis at Johns Hopkins. “It would be really easy for somebody to spoof a contact, and that is something the security industry has already been issuing notices on.”
Waltz has spent years inside the Republican national security establishment. A former Green Beret—something reflected in the number of apparent veteran Green Berets, Navy SEALs, and other special operators to whom the Venmo account bearing his name is connected—he served as a defense adviser at the Pentagon under former defense secretaries Donald Rumsfeld and Robert Gates, and later counseled US vice president Dick Cheney on counterterrorism. In 2020, following the US drone strike that killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, Waltz says he was part of a small group of lawmakers privately briefed at the White House.
Another participant in that thread was Hegseth. A public Venmo account under his name, identified by The American Prospect in February, revealed a similarly elite network—including names matching executives at defense firms like Palantir and Anduril as well as lobbyists and President George W. Bush–era officials. In the Signal chat, the defense secretary directly responded to Vance’s concerns: “VP: I fully share your loathing of European free-loading. It’s PATHETIC.”
Both Vance’s and Hegseth’s Venmo accounts have since been deleted.

Stephen Battaglio at LA Times:
MSNBC viewers have seen the last of Steve Kornacki’s big board. The popular data maven has signed a deal with NBC that will expand his presence across the network’s news and sports divisions. But the new contract does not include working for MSNBC, which is being spun off into a new corporate entity formed by parent company Comcast. Under the spinoff arrangement, MSNBC and NBC News are separating their operations, with the left-leaning cable network building its own newsgathering unit. Kornacki has chosen to remain with NBC. Kornacki, 45, will continue to be NBC’s go-to expert for statistical analysis of polls and election results and during major sporting events, including Triple Crown horse racing, the Olympics and the NFL. He will appear on the streaming channel NBC News Now along with the broadcast network franchises “Meet the Press,” “Today” and “NBC Nightly News.” A representative for NBC News confirmed the move Tuesday. A representative for MSNBC declined to comment on Kornacki’s exit, but noted the cable network is hiring more than 100 journalists in preparation for its split from NBC News. The search is already on for a new data guru. [...] Kornacki’s new deal, which makes him an NBC contributor with the title of chief data analyst, allows him to pursue projects on other networks and media platforms as long as they are unrelated to politics and sports.
Steve Kornacki remains in the NBCUniversal family for NBC News and NBC Sports work, but he will not be with MSNBC under a new deal. This is at least partially due to MSNBC set to be split off from NBC.
Kornacki is allowed to dabble with projects on other networks and media platforms, provided that are as long as they are unrelated to politics and sports.

Can you tell me about Edit, if you want to?
Not forced of course!!
(Absolutely never forced my dears. I am just so happy right now you have no idea.)
Edit!! Ohh Edit. An odd individual, and that's saying a lot for an Error. The new Error of the Mainverse and, a quieter one of the previous version, Data. Edit's strictly for his job and nothing else. Anything else is a hazard and will promptly be snuffed out, or pushed away. Nothing gets in, nothing gets out... Pretty straight-forward if you will.
His void is shrouded in a fog, a mist that blankets around and consumes any viable air and oxygen around it. Do not breath it in, less your undead I guess. Unlike most Errors, Edit doesn't have "strings" or really he lacks them. He uses bungee like cords instead. With almost expert precision, hooking, digging and even burying into matter like material like a strong cable... Before ripping it well apart OR, bringing it closer together. The cords almost seem nylon in nature, tough to cut and stretch rather well despite being mainly comprised of his magic alone. That isn't the only thing he is capable of though.
To replace a much renowned, stronger previous version, some traits had to carry. Though, it is really hard to say what that could be. Edit primarily works alone or in the background. He's not in the spotlight like the "others", and will only ever show if he must. His past is truly shrouded in mystery, but one past time he tends to do isn't. For some odd reason, he has a knack for making blankets and weighted quilts. Not just thinly fabric-ones either, strong usually robust and shockingly enough, flame and water retardant. These aren't just done in a few days either, one blanket could straight up take him WEEKS, a few months depending on the time he has and, resources. And yet, he goes out of his day and energy to make them either way. No one really sure why, not even his- Well "coworkers." know.

Tumblr media
Additional notes....
.Upon becoming the new Error, Edit rarely fights with Etch. True that he must fight the Ink at least a couple of times to maintain some aforementioned status quo, but he's more likely to sneak past him, or miss him entirely.
.Hates confronting children. Will not go near a child if you forced him to. Surprisingly becomes rather apprehensive if left near them too long too. He may begin to twitch in discomfort.
.Barely talks but that seems pretty self-explanatory. Signs are mostly his go to but, he's also pretty good at making a convincing "look" when he's expressing that whatever he thinks that you are doing, is stupid.
.Uncomfortable towards full on fighting, he'd rather get away then take on full confrontation
.You will never know where he's at, despite his size and boots. You could estimate... Chances are though, he's probably already gone.
.Every "team member" of the group he's apart of, follow a similar reason of being recruited... His is more dire and he will stop at nothing till it's finished.

Rapid Response Time:
One of our main advantages over most companies is our quick response time. Most on-site computer repair companies make you wait days for service, and if you drop it off at a shop, they make you wait days to complete the repair. Why does it take them so long? Because they do not prioritize every single customer! We consistently offer same day or next day service, with most repairs being finished on-site that day. For the repairs that need to be taken back to the shop, we prioritize those too. We boast an average turnaround time of only 2 days, and we drop it off to you when it's done, or you can pick it up.
Full Service On-Site Support:
Don't touch a thing. We come directly to your home or business, and perform the repair right there. We handle it all, from start to finish, without you having to lift a finger.
