“How are you feeling, meri jaan?” she heard the soothing voice of her husband before she felt his hand over her protruding belly. A giggle left her throat as he placed a kiss on her cheek, chuckling softly against her skin. “I feel better now,” she replies with a grin.

Tom hums, wrinkling his eyebrows as he settles down next to her on the leather couch as everyone around them worked hard to get the place ready for the interview which would start any moment now.

As actors, Tom and (Y/N) could never take a day off, especially when they were in the center of the show. And in times like this, with the lady pregnant, Tom found himself worrying more and more about her; constantly asking whether she was fine or not, if she needed something or not.

No wonder her cousins and mother started teasing him by calling him a “mother”.

“Hello, Tom and (Y/N),” greeted the lady who was supposed to take their interview. The pair smiled brightly, greeting the lady back whose name they learnt to be Bianca.

“Are we ready?” The director asked, earning a couple of nods from the crew and thumbs up from the guests. “Well then. Lights. Camera and Action.”

And then began the interview.

The beginning was always the same; introductions, their achievements, a few questions about their current show. But after that came the personal part, one that rendered the actor a bit uncomfortable as he tried to keep his life to himself.

“So, you two have a daughter together and another little Hiddleston is on the way,” the interviewer states with a smile, making the couple glance at each other with smile as (Y/N) placed a hand over her overgrown bump. “Yes.”

“And your daughter’s name is Kavya, isn’t it?” Bianca queries, struggling with the pronunciation for a while before Tom helps her. “Yes. We decided on an Indian name because they just sound so… soothing. Like hot chocolate in winters,” Tom gushed, his face reddening up as he glanced at his wife.

“Awww… that’s sweet. (Y/N), how is the pregnancy going for you?”

“Honestly, everything is fine except for the cravings,” she whined, making the Loki actor burst into a fit of laughter as he remembered the many nights when he woke up to finding his wife cooking some Indian dish or digging deep into the kitchen cabinets to find Maggi.

“What do you crave?” Bianca asks, her eyes gleaming with happiness as she watched her favourite Hollywood couple share a glance before laughing. Once the laughter dies down, Tom replies, “it can be the weirdest thing. One second she wants to have Jalebi and the next she wants to find some Namkeen.”

“I am the mix of sweet and savoury,” she argues instantly, making him smile as he nodded, leaning in to place a kiss on her temple, “meri khatti-meethi.”

(Y/N) merely gave him a side eye before returning her focus to their interviewer who had started her next question. “Correct me if I am wrong, but you were pregnant when you were about to finish shooting for this show, right?”

The couple nodded, prompting Bianca to continue, “did you crave anything on the set?” Before the misses could answer, Tom lets out a dramatic sigh before answering, “one fine morning, she comes to my trailer, donning her costume, and literally commands me ‘I want to have fish curry made by my mother, so talk to her, take the recipe and cook it.’ And leaves before I could nod. I was so bewildered and like what should I do.”

Everyone around them laughed loudly except for (Y/N) who glared daggers at her husband before leaning in to whisper softly into his ear.

“I want to eat Samosa.”

“Haye Bhagwaan!”

May I humbly request a reader with the company (in general) who packed a pair of chopsticks and a spoon (for soup)? It’s even better if they’re at some formal dinner or something and reader insists on using their chopsticks (though they are somewhat peeved that they have to use a knife, since back home the servings would already be neatly divided and they feel a bit humiliated fumbling with one)

“Oh, no thank you,” You flashed a grin at the server, holding your hand over the table where they were attempting to put down a bundle of silverware. The server, albeit a bit perplexed at your refusal to accept the eating utensils, left with a polite nod- placing the silverware on the tray they were carrying. 

“Are you going to eat with your hands?” Ori tilted his head to the side, confused, and quite honestly looking like a small child as you shook your head with an amused grin. 

“No, I just prefer to eat with my own utensils,” You shrugged, reaching into your satchel to pull out a small rolled up piece of cloth. Carefully unraveling the knot you pulled out a pair of two carved pieces of wood. 

“What’re those?” Ori questioned once more, catching the attention of the other company  members. 

“In my culture, we refer to these as chopsticks,” You explained simply, ensuring that your spoon was secured in the fabric before re-tying the knot, the pair of chopsticks resting on the side of your napkin. 

“Chopsticks?” Kili asked, curious as he watched you put your cloth back in your satchel. 

“Mhm,” You picked them up before using them to grab a piece of steamed carrot off the plate. 

“You just-” Fili attempted to mimic your finger movements making you laugh, nearly choking on your steamed carrot. 

“Yep, you just,-” You moved the chopsticks together and then apart, before grabbing a piece of steamed potato next. Sooner than you had liked, you finished the steamed vegetables and your greatest adversary - the chicken breast- stared back at you from your plate. 

In your homeland, the chefs would have the chicken pre-sliced in neat chunks for perfect bites. Taking a sip of your water, you frowned. It appeared that in the land of the dwarves, such things did not exist. 

Eyeing the small slicing knife next to your plate, you carefully plucked it up before holding the meat down with your chopsticks, attempting to slice through the meat. Your plate slid as the knife attempted to go through the meat, making heat crawl up your neck as the company’s attention focused on you. 

Clearing your throat, you went back to attempting to cut the meat, biting the inside of your cheek. 

Thorin kicked Dwalin’s leg from under the table, and shared a look with everyone- making them go back to their own conversations. 

Gandalf wordlessly placed his hand over yours, taking the knife from your grasp to cut it himself for you. 

Sighing through your nostril, you took another sip of water. 

“There is no shame in not knowing what you’ve never been exposed to,” Gandalf spoke below his breath. 

Looking down at your plate, you felt a small grin make itself home on your face as you saw the neat slices.

i dont normally send asks but i came across ur blog and you have some really cool ideas when it comes to personification stuff,, ur like one of the few other ppl ive found that actually includes polandball and countryhumans in personified fandom stuff so id love to hear ur ideas abt them!! as someone with a fascination with fandom history id be down to discuss stuff more with u if u wanna

uh *checks notes* I am going to assume you mean their dynamic/hcs about each!! I’ve never delved very deeply into Countryhumans fandom history/her dynamics with the others because. Controversy but I still do have lots of ideas about her. And she is *the* quintessential Canonless G(A) fandomspirit to me, probably because she’s the first one I was part of. You get into G(A) through Hetalia, Countryhumans, or Polandball mostly and they’re the faces of the whole place so,,, very well defined House triad here.

What I do say is CH is PB and Hetalia’s conceptual daughter (her premise is kind of both of theirs mashed together) but Hetalia and the other two are separated by the Canon-Canonless divide (and the fact that he has a husband) and thus don’t talk as much. (Which is funny because his two actual sons, Fandomstuck and Socialstuck, are both Canonless.) Also, he gets into Reality more often because he has more cosplayers. But their dynamic is more like older-younger sibling, they swing back and forth between working together well (sharing headcanons and Netizens) and actually beating each other up (raids). From what I’ve seen, and I’m mostly saying this from CH’s POV, he’s more likely to start it than she is.

Both of them are a little scared of each other, PB because he has a lot of overlap with her and is the closest to seeing inside of her brain (he’s read her writing before) and is uncomfortable around it, CH because she can never tell when PB is being sarcastic and when he actually means what he says. She usually assumes he’s being serious.

Also, fandomspirits don’t get as possessive of their people as much as OTJs do, which, considering the way they feed, is probably a good thing. So they don’t fight about who gets the food; they’re content, and CH even likes receiving less because it’s made her swings less severe.

I have no idea what’s going on with her right now because I can’t check her tag and no longer use Wattpad (her Wattpad room is way more active than her AO3 room from what I remember) for personal reasons, but is the Save the Countryhumans Fandom thing still happening?

Fun fact: she’s the second fandomspirit of Countryhumans. The first one was the Country Guardian, Nadia. She got thrown into temporary leave for killing another Guardian which she felt (feels) guilty about even with most of her memories wiped.

CH’s rooms in G(A) are vandalized to hell and back. She’s used to it.

What I meant about swings: she has periods of making shipping Whatever the Hell She Wants (btw in the personifverse G(A) is technically RPF) and then periods of feeling incredibly guilty about it.

Wikipedia, Britannica and JSTOR are her favorite places.

All of her spin-offs (Statehumans, Planethumans, social media humans (subordinate of Socialstuck in the twins’ journalism business)) live in her head but can manifest bodies at will. Planethumans is the most independent one.

She’s jealous of Centricide because they get to unironically ship Nazis and Communists without people yelling at them.

Actually she’s jealous of pretty much every other G(A) member.

Physically 14 because that’s what everyone sees her people as. Russian-Brazilian, I think? Russian definitely (VK). But no one knows exactly where she came from. Also Korean. Maybe. Everyone sees something different.

Oh!! Oh!! She’s thinking about sending ambassadors to Collab Horror (where SCP lives). I’m the result. I’ve been tasked with giving her another child :) I’m trying I know I don’t talk to her a lot anymore but I still love her

I know you came here half for PB but I don’t have many headcanons about him :( he is definitely the face G(A) would most like to show to the public, and really good at art (terrible at writing) except he can’t be bothered to try mostly. (I’ve been on some of his subreddits some of the pictures are pure eye candy)

I hope this doesn’t spark an argument because I don’t want this to be the third site I kick myself out of.

My ankles are very angry tonight. Fucking chronic pain. Looking forward to getting at least one of them taken care of on February 22nd. Also looking forward to having the slight increase in one of my meds that help with sleep and chronic pain. The additional dose of medication won't arrive until this Tuesday. So now I'm awake and in pain. Boo.
