it will take me a while to like, make a whole big post with all of them because my brain is very eepy right now but I want to do sth like that eventually!! for now since you insist (and thank you for insisting, you enable me so much. mwah!) i will start with... the extremely self indulgent, guilty pleasure crackfic idea that's been rotting my brain for over a month now. i've even started a doc for it and i'll slap it onto ao3 as soon as I finish the first chapter. here's the premise: chase and thirteen get magicked into their teenage selves (memories intact, just back in younger bodies). thirteen is, well, thirteen, and chase is sixteen, and house gets stuck with them staying in his apartment until they can figure out how to turn them back. many many many soft dad moments and grumpy dad moments and hilarious sibling moments will abound!

(one of the softest/most comfort-filled moments i have planned for that fic is house and 16 y/o chase both immediately going straight to 13 y/o thirteen when she wakes up screaming in the middle of the night from a nightmare about what happened in last resort. she never sleeps well because of nightmares/stress/etc, but that moment is the first time she's ever cried out in her sleep since they've been staying at house's, and it gives house and chase heart attacks. protective dad and big bro activated and ready to force thirteen to accept some love and comfort for once in her damn life!!!)

i know it was played for laughs but i don't think I'm gonna get over mother goose yelling "you're a good kid, jack!" in response to yfla's yelling about how she's a monster any time soon. just something about how their stories aren't supposed to touch but how important it was for them to find each other. how the man who had his son taken from him looks out for the brave little girl who's family turned their back on her. the instinctual care Timothy places on others, the helps yfla wants to give- from a place of feeling like she has to redeem herself. Timothys encouragement of her in every form, both gaining something from an indescribable loss. i just. hm. yeah.

It's such an irony that Valjean learned because he want to fortify his hate, but he used that knowledge to teach a girl(Who became his daughter.) who was also in the depth of misery.
