One I haven’t posted about yet, but one of my absolute favourite films of 2023 - Scrapper (dir. Charlotte Regan)
It had me captivated throughout. My heart physically ached in the best way, watching this film. A beautifully sad, beautifully funny, beautifully strong story and you couldn’t find better cast for it.
If you haven’t seen it yet, please do. This one was truly special.

What’s your favorite romance shoujo female leads? Obviously shoujo is a genre where we project our fantasies but I still have preferences on just how damsel-ey my main character should be. It reminds me of the tension between those who think Cinderella is NOT a hero for her bravery in being resilient and those who do. Sometimes female empowerment is not always loud.

Don't fucking show me the reality of relationship in novel . Where they don't find their partner always attractive and "accidentally" have relationship with someone else . I am reading romance novel so I can feel love . I don't want these " reality of relationship " or " it's okay even if he cheated they go through ups and downs and their love grew stronger for each other " . Don't teach us to lower our standards .

Excision (2012)
Dir. by Richard Bates Jr.
Scaryness: 1/10 - It’s somber, if you get into it, but not scary. It’s tense though.
Coolness: 9/10 - It’s so fucking weird in all the best ways. Made me go ‘omg she’s literally me’ all the time, concerning. It’s sorta depressing.
Dopeness: 10/10 - There’s blood, it’s nice.
Wokeness: 1/10
Smart-brained: 7/10 - It lingers.
General rating: 7.5/8
Movie count: 227

ABOUT RAGE by Erin Banks
The concept alone hooked me, and when I started reading, I was captivated right away. This book is written from the perspective of “Emily Sands,” the serial killer. The entire time, we are in her mind, and that’s part of what makes this so great. But, the power of this gripping read isn’t in the concept alone, but a masterful execution. In the beginning, we get what one would expect from such a…
