2/10, I hate it. I hate it so much. They named him 'Useless Whiner'. Why are they so damn mean to him??? Only isn't a 0/10 because admittedly he does look & act like a Eustace.

Justine Courtney --> Verity Gavélle

9/10, very pretty! Not as blatantly obvious as the fan-translation name, but still kinda on the nose with the whole gavel thing. Fits her well!

Ray Shields --> Eddie Fender

8/10. Very on the nose, but not in a bad way! I can accept it, it fits him.

Di-Jung Huang --> Di-Jung Wang

10/10! It's pretty much the same which is a plus, and I've gotta give them props for keeping the subtle 'the wrong one' wordplay! I'm completely happy with this.

7/10, not bad. A lot more on the nose, but it sounds kinda cool so it gets a pass from me.

The Grand Turnabout > Turnabout for the Ages - Worse, I think. It sounds cooler, but doesn't have any chess connotations. They should have called it "The Grandmaster's Turnabout" or "Turnabout Checkmate", I think.

* iFly Airlines in AAI1 has been reverted to its Japanese name of "GoYou". This was probably done because iFly is the name of a real Russian airline with global sanctions against it since 2022.

* As a result, Hugo Ifly is now Ugo Hughes and the tanuki called Mr. Ifly is now Captain Ugo.

* Moozilla is now Taurusaurus, which I think is a better name.

* The Grand Tower is now the Bigg Building, suggesting that Big is not merely its size, but a Mr. Bigg is its proprietor.

* The Zodiac Hall galleries are now referred to as seasonal "Wings" rather than "Palaces". Makes more sense.

* Edgeworth Law Offices is now referred to as Edgeworth and Co. Law Offices, the Co. being Eddie Fender (aka Ray Shields). Again, makes more sense.

* Rocky the bear is now Teddy, since his owner is now already Rocco as a Rocky reference.

* Anubis the hunting dog is now Helmut, a lame pun on "hell mutt".

* Astique the elephant is now Azea, like an "Asian" elephant.

* Ally the alligator is still the same. Regina Berry is not very good at naming animals.

Nicole Swift vs Tabby Lloyd: I never really got the "nicole swift" pun. tabby lloyd is fun

Patricia Roland vs Fifi Laguarde: We have three other characters that are puns on "patrol". Fifi is just fun and fits her overall fluffy appearance.

Justine Courtney vs Verity Gavelle: I think Verity is a more fun and memorable name overall. Some part of my brain is still stuck on Justine Courtney though.

Sebastian Debeste vs Eustace Winner: I know this will be a controversial one. I think Debeste is the superior last name but I love the name Eustace. I can't explain why. I think the hidden "useless" vs "excelling" pun added to these two names are what brings it sliiightly up from me.

Blaise Debeste vs Excelsius Winner: similar to Sebastian/Eustace, I think the first name is an improvement (I get the Blaise/Blaze but I feel like Excelsius calls back to the "Banzai" pun a little more with him). Last name is a downgrade though. If I could separate these out...

John Marsh vs Shaun Fenn: I was never super fond of the name John Marsh. Honestly Shaun Fenn isn't that much of an improvement? But it reminded me of the heavy rain glitch when people were yelling after him.

Katherine Hall vs Judy Bound: Honestly I'm tempted to move Judy up a bit. I think they're both really good.

Bonnie Young vs Hilda Hertz: I remember reading something a while ago that her jp name had something that sounded young in it. Which is why this is here.

Raymond Shields vs Eddie Fender: I just keep instinctively typing out "uncle ray" or "mr. shields". I love the sword/shield combo and "a defender" seems like the kind of name you'd give to a throwaway defense attorney and not a major character, to me.

eddie fender - i mean me personally i wouldnt name a supporting character a name u would expect from a background character who happens to be a defence attorney but its also like not that bad like. it looks like a name that could exist probably.

simeon saint - i think this is peak (fully biased) just bc it isnt drastically different + ur supposed to think he's just Some Guy who didn't do anything wrong in that case.

tabby lloyd - massive win actually i really like this. like that is a really cute name i think.

Fifi Leguarde works. i can see why you can look at Patricia and go "that's a Fifi right there". Bodhidharma Kanis is pretty cool i won't lie. Eddie Fender is another typical Ace Attorney pun name but i think me and other people were mostly upset by giving such a major character that we're mostly meant to take seriously that sort of name. it's like if Maya was named Spira Chanelur. Verity Gavélle is also pretty cool. Simeon Saint is also fine, not what i would've gone with but it's fine. i get the thought process. and Eustace Winner and Bronco Knight is truly just such a fucking disservice to both of them. have they not already suffered enough

Chapter 4.3: The Rainbow and The Echo

Maxim cut the invisible creature’s laughter short as his copper bullet found purchase in its body. The shriveled creature, suddenly, materialized high on the ceiling above the bathroom counter; and its tan skin cracked on impact. The creature’s carved skin floated into the smoky air as the creature drew a rattling breath. It held three long, taloned fingers on each hand and its sallow skin revealed its bones. It twitched and writhed before it relaxed. Its body curled into a tight ball and the singular milky eye rolled back in its head.  

“An Oris. The love children of an Io and an Iris. They turn invisible at will and their voices are powerful instruments of confusion.” Maxim explained. 

“Rainbows and echoes.” Antwan murmured. “I’ve never seen one before.” 

The Oris lurched to its feet and clawed the air. Maxim’s copper bullet was lodged in its windpipe, and it no longer cast its screeches into their brains. Antwan bawled his fist and struck the creature between the eyes and the mythical creature crumpled to the ground in a heap of parchment skin. It was dead. 

“A direct message from the Eternal family.” said Maxim. “An Oris is only capable of repeating what someone says.” 

“And if the Mont-Claires sent this after us, who else did they send?” asked Antwan. 

“What else...” Maxim thought. “We don’t have long before they find us here and I don’t think we’ll survive another in this lovely bed and breakfast.” 

“I’ll find some keys.” Antwan volunteered. 

Maxim followed close behind Antwan, and they trudged down the winding stairs. The Oris’ metallic voice ran in his ears. He may have shot the abnormal creature, but the copper bullet did not the pounding echo reverberating around in his head. 

“Do you feel that?” Maxim called. “The Oris’ screams are still splitting my head open.” 

“It’s an Orisean echo, I think, and if I remember correctly, it goes away over time or it stays with you until...” Antwan trailed off. 

“Until they find me.” Maxim finished. 

“We gotta find Bernard.” Antwan offered. “Fast.” 

“You think we need the case?” Maxim asked. 

“We’re in deep shit, Max.,” said Antwan. “We need all the help we can get.” 

Maxim suppressed a smile. His husband was on his side no matter how angry he was. He followed behind Antwan pushed a sizable door open. They emerged into a sumptuous carriage house, and he stopped in his tracks. 

The light-colored bricks and massive arched windows made the space feel infinite and Maxim busied himself in the kitchenette. He rummaged through brass knobbed cabinets. He slammed the doors as quickly as he opened them and found it. He turned to the kitchen island with a bottle and a glass. A slab of solid oak sat atop the floating counter and Maxim wrapped it with his knuckle as he sat his pristine glass down. He pulled the cork from an old bottle of dark liquor with his teeth and spat it into the sink before he held the odd-shaped bottle out to his husband. 

“You serious?” Antwan growled. “Now?!” 

“I’ll take that as a no.”  

Maxim tossed back the room temperature scotch and rinsed his glass. He wrapped the glass in a nearby towel and opened another cabinet. The metallic clang of jingling keys greeted him with their cheerful clashes, and he picked a set dangling from a turquoise, boot-shaped keychain. He mashed the button for the car alarm and waited. 

“Dead battery?” Antwan asked. 

“Nah, just old school.” Maxim pondered. 

They moved into the garage. Antwan’s steps thundered off the polished concrete as he pulled the dusty cover off a beat-up Ford Bronco with chipped white paint and a missing fender. He tossed his husband a smile. 

“Down for a joyride?” he asked.

and ok, it was more complicated than i thought, the organizing, the plausible ships and the not so plausible, god the organizing i am very anal about this, there are ships that are so rare that while i have seen ppl ship it, i havent seen them with ship names actually. if you frecuent the devil's sacrament (r34 sites) like i do, you probably now about debestcest or johntine but r34 sites arent places were you need shipnames and westeners arent like, shipping that so yeah not very necessary..... and what do you want me to call debestcest? winncest??? cause wincest already exists damn-

On the USS Fullerton, California Class the Captain's yacht is the "Leo Fender" and the shuttles are the Esquire, Broadcaster, Telecaster, Stratocaster, Jazzmaster, Jaguar, Mustang, Starcaster and the Bronco.

The bottom one is really the idea. Accept couple things about it it would be with a full square cabin in the back like the Bronco up top. But the idea is to make it square so you stamp it and it's very easy to make and you can see ridges in it ours would not have ridges it is a cheesy way to make the panel kind of stronger it doesn't work right because it crinkles all the time these were well known for crinkling no it worked pretty good. The doors can be made this way really easy real simple you stamp them and you attach the hardware and you're done and you can see on the outside of the door that that is our system at least we call it our system that's how you make it you make a beam or sturdy member or framing member in the mold or stamp mold and you stamp it and it saves tons of time you don't have to build a door your door is ready made but we put the framing material on the inside and he says you stamp it like this and you stamp the frame no we're gonna try and Drop it onto an easy go but you'll see. But you stamp the framing on the inside and you paint it a different color than the outside that's the finishes you don't have to put anything metal on it most people will want black or dark blue or dark green and they're amazed at the thinking and point with that being quicker than hell even for our military. No we make them like this. But boy this would be fast now here's the part of the idea that might make it work we use a lot of golf carts in factories but there's so many there's like 10,000 golf carts per factory and we change the battery and we have tons of parts. There is tons of them that are decent sized these days huge loads of extra ones we need to do something with now. The suspension is OK the frame is OK steering is OK the motor is fine the batteries the transmission tires and wheels need to be replaced and the body install and you can use a small PTO for lights and other so it doesn't burn up your batteries. We would use a two battery system in a trickle charge and you get about 200 miles. Out of a former golf cart. Speed would be about 85 miles an hour but you could run at 45 miles an hour for 220 miles. Run at 60 miles an hour for about 150 miles unless you're just going real steady and we might put in a highway gear again it says it's a great idea and you get about 180 miles. We're gonna go ahead and start to design this it is the most awesome idea I have heard in a long time and here's what you do.

You remove the seats and the cover it's really this hard top off your golf cart remove all of the body fenders and lights and bumpers actually you need new bumpers and you take the steering mechanism off that's not gonna work there's some other picky stuff the dashboard and things need to come out and we will have what will amaze you as a body then you have to install the new batteries the trickle charge system PTO for your lights the batteries themselves the case to blow out case and it's not hard the batteries are in there way too big and it's way too many and you can use it as storage and we have designed the body to accommodate that.

Once you've cleaned it off and you removed everything there's gonna come out you have to take out some structural members and they will be replaced when you attach the new body and frame the frame is integral it is stamped in just like the door on the military vehicle you see. It's not a new concept but it's not used enough it works

The body comes in a big box not so big and we could probably get 10 in a semi because they're almost 8 foot it'll fit inside a regular truck sideways and yeah it's a saying a lot of people want to make these for the military 'cause it's so fast and you have a stamped body a stamped bottom to the body and top and size and all of it is assembled and it doesn't take long and the finishes are inside and the receiver for the cover for the gear shifter and the gear mechanism are inside and you have to install that before putting this on it tells you what position everything has to be in and the dashboard is built into it the seats are already in and you have to set them back and lean them back to do the work to hook it up and the stereo is in the gages are in and you have to look those up there's not many gages it's a joy people say it is a joy the speedometer comes adjusted for your new rims and tires you just connect the speedometer to the old connection. This is a technical thing but you get over the technical stuff and it's a breeze. they don't make these kits but people are trying and it works people can do it without too much trouble. you drop the body on and it's bolt up there's no stitch work no glue no welding everything is bolt up believe it or not that's the way to do it he says and I believe it people don't like this blue or welding. And you put the new tires and rims on and you turn it on and you have a new vehicle

This car was fast this is how fast it is the other cars were talking about the kits in Corvette and so forth are super cars or hyper cars or mega cars. This car would be adequate for any usage it would be a quick charge and we're interested in making the kit for people who want to do it. Have a store of these a few billion or a million we want to make it for you so try and find this and give us a call. If you take the design we'll have to try and take it back to from you in court.

We think we can do this and get away with it but make our own and design our own I know how to do the stamping what he's saying is so fun and so simple you do have to put a window in and sort of not really but it would be nice there's a way to do a window on these and it's kind of arcane but it's really a plastic window and you just slide it downwards I might do that there's a couple other issues people don't want a hard top and says Yeah but it's like the Bronco so I said ohh I see it's enclosed yeah the bottom one's enclosed too so I understand it's not a utility vehicle and you don't want to make it open air with electric and he's right actually it's a fair day cage it protects you protects the equipment and people won't steal the batteries hopefully. Well so you have to be kind of secure and I know how to do that there's a couple other questions it looks kind of rude and he says when you paint that thing on the bottom it'll look better than the Bronco painted and I know I've seen them they look massively cool it is an intensely cool looking thing it looks like a Hummer and like a Jeep a little it's massively cool it's like a correctly drawn and designed H humbug. I'm gonna go ahead and try and make one

This is a great idea just drop it on and really most of the vehicles work is in the chassis and we make a big deal out of the body and make it so much work and it's stupid this whole interior will be metal you don't have to put anything on it and people will. We do have a price for the kid that includes everything you need except for the golf cart which has to be in very good shape and functioning . Starting price would be about 10,200 and it's because of the batteries costing about $4500 really and the trickle system too is expensive the rest of the kid is not that much we start stamping and we'll probably lower the price and he says we're stamping it it takes milliseconds it's just paint on the inside OK so really we could make it 8000 and people would buy tons of them and he wants to make it as cheap as possible so our people have vehicles. Meaning that you turn it into a vehicle and you make the frame so we will stop complaining and that's why.

We tried that already but we don't have that many golf carts in Africa. And to make a car you need to have certain things but he's right he's wondering what we would need but we we make all sorts of frames and the stamp idea is nice and having it flat is nice this would be a great design for us and very cheap and easy. Could make the molds stamp it and you weld it together I mean this looks easy and he says it probably is you just weld the panels together you paint the inside and you paint the outside different as a matter of fact when you have the panel off you paint one side you turn it around it's dry and paid the other side or even not when dry and I say this boy that's stupid. You hang it in a production line and we can bake it it takes seconds you turn it around and you know you spray it correctly. And then you you have to weld it but Wells will eat the paint up so I'm wondering how you welded then painted is that was really it's designed to stamp the whole thing all at once I don't know if we can do that or it's like a mold and you're pressuringjected so I'm gonna have to look at it but I do see what you're saying you can't really paint it you can paint the outside then when you paint the inside you'd have to just seal off the windows but then it might bake the paint off so I'll have to hold off the damn paint really you know doesn't take that long when it's a pain in the **** it really is so he's wondering how they do it on cars because they're welding it on and we do see what you're saying they're already painted they're baked on in the welding doesn't bother it it says it might work because you could weld it at the frame but then again you have to do the scene seam or apoxy the seam melding apoxy and right good.
