The amazing scent of vanilla cologne and sea breeze perfume fills the soft black silk of bed sheets as the brunette twists and turns his aging body to his back as morning birds call and sing just outside his window, the air being cleared from the most familiar scents as soon as his face is facing up. With a curved back he cracked the tired joints, hands rubbing his grown face, his green eyes looking at the white ceiling before glancing to the white numbers of the black chic clock on the bedside table. He arose from the soft covers and glance at the evidence from the night before, formal articles of clothes scattered across the floor, a pair of black heels plopped by the office desk in the farthest corner, two glasses of wine one of which as a dark lipstick stain on the side, black ribbons on the bedside table, and a quick glance at the trash bin beside the table makes even the all grown man that is Makoto Naegi blush in bashful shyness as if he’s still a teenager. 

With another stretch and a small noise Makoto stood on his feet and went to his dresser, a wobble of his feet from waking up and more evidence of last night’s fun did he walk, his hands now scarred in sacred knicks and scars from the many years he fought verbally and physically for peace and justice reach in the drawer and grab a pair of gray sweatpants and a white boxers. Once he quietly put the items on, he grabbed his blue robe from the door and made his way out of the bedroom to the hall, the glass windows showing the ocean view more and more with each step.

He walked until he made it to the end to the large kitchen, the Bluetooth speakers softly playing a little podcast as his lovers stand in perfect harmony bliss as coffee brews behind the man of soft golden hair as he fries some eggs on the iron pan above the fire while standing beside him is their intellectual muse of long lavender waves down her deep royal silk robed back as her hands — Now bare from her gloves and showing off the steel band and golden weaving like ring on her finger — sips her cup of the morning. 

It took both a moment to fully notice their lucky charm was awake and enjoying the view of the two with the new morning sun, and once they did they smiled upon him. “Good morning birthday boy.”
