[HC]: Lambert relies more on the red crown for movement so they don't open their fleece because they're vulnerable underneath, and is afraid that once the lamb reaches out his hand someone may take advantage of it. This implies how they don't put any trust in anyone because of their past, where they constantly have to look over their shoulder and is always on the run from the bishops' eyes. So Lambert never reaches out a hand in their own cult, and only opens themselves up when they're alone or when they're with someone they truly trust (Ratau, their mentor figure. And their trust in Narinder is going to take a long long time.)
The followers see it as something like if their leader ever raised a finger then hell would break loose, so some of them are wary of the movements underneath the fleece. Narinder has felt their hands back then when he was still in chains, though after his attempt to killing them for the crown, he has never felt the lamb's warmth again. For a while.
(you can say that this lamb is touch starved asf)
[I drew this as quick as I can because I still have some schoolwork to do LMAOO]
