when orym asks the matron; “do you ever miss morality? it’s pretty great, living a lifetime.” and then sharing the most loving gaze with dorian as they both smile at each other like idiots

dorian asking the question “when was the last time you were surprised?” and the matron answering with “when a mortal gave everything to save the ones he loved”. and the absolute sadness on everyone’s faces.

ughhh it’s so on point for dorian’s character to roll a Nat 1 with the first use of his father’s sword. but! GETS TO REROLL BECAUSE HES NEXT TO ORYM. i’m unwell.

them(dorian and orym) both agreeing to the idea that it’s “not real”.

we see in this episode especially how orym gets impatient with the gods just like dorian. AHHHH

#shes cool as fuck to me bc when I first played jfa I found her really frustrating to deal with #not just as Phoenix but I mean like on a personal level she is challenging because she’s so thorough #and yet I also find it fascinating that she breaks the character she’s built for herself once in a while #i 100% believe that I don’t think she would have caught on to what Phoenix was trying to do while stalling for time with engardes trial #so it’s probably a good thing edgeworth subbed in but she literally busts her ass to bring evidence to court #almost right after having a bullet extracted from her WHICH SHE ALSO PRESENTS AS EVIDENCE. thats metal as fuck ok #especially since she would technically have nothing to do with the case after edgeworth fills in and she still decided to do that anyway #maybe it was blind faith to use that evidence to win since she wasn’t there for most of the trial but still #and even if canon doesn’t give it to me I still firmly believe there’s be at least some chemistry between her and Maya #like especially if you hold it next to wrightworth that works bc there’s already a history there and majority of Phoenix and miles trying #to relearn their relationship is Phoenix coaxing out that side of Miles that he remembers from fourth grade #but with Franmaya it’s something new and they’re basically strangers to each other and one of them almost got the other convicted #and I still think that’s fascinating and it’s a damn shame thay half of the fics I find for them on ao3 is background in wrightworth fic #i did find a good one that touched on Franziska trying to win pearls approval because Pearl does hold a grudge against her #and seeing that trying to live up to perfecting even her personal relationships without getting to know Pearl to even know #why it wasn’t working feels believable when I think abt her as a character yk #myart #my art #doodles #aa #ace attorney #franziska von karma

I have a pay-off to build up so I must continue in theme.#Next comic is one I have been so excited to draw. I'm so excited to share!#Turning the spotlight back to JC for a moment here: It struck me while drawing this that we don't actually have confirmation-#-that this is the same town LWJ met WWX in. In fact it actually makes more sense if they aren't going to the same town each time.#After all - we clearly see that despite the high number of rumours - no one recognizes him *or* Wen Ning.#This does bring the implication that JC has been wandering around villages and towns trying to bump into his estranged brother.#Just lurking around shop stalls with a menacing aura. Hoping his hubris detector suddenly spikes high and he finds WWX.#He brings a threatening aura to the farmers market that is actively scaring off the customers and curdling the milk.#How long was he trying? I previously pointed out that LWJ was probably trying for a few days...but how long was JC trying?#Neither him or Jiang Yanli knew LWJ told him about the wedding...so it stands to reason they might have be able to find him sooner.#It was all just a matter of poor timing...Jiang Cheng got cucked again by LWJ and he didn't even realize it.

It's actually so heartbreaking that in the temperance ending Johnny just.. leaves. Gets all these calls, maybe even texts, from people who don't know the extent of what happened. Who are accusing him, that are mad at him. Especially in the frame of reference that this was V's last wish. That it was V who gave the body up. That it was V who wanted this, wanted to save Johnny, Johnny essentially powerless to stop them ('just scared for ya').

And the thing is.. Johnny just lets everyone. Lets them make their own conclusions, lets them be mad at him. Lets them blame him. Lets them think, that after the love of his life the person who's ever wholly understood or cared about him the most like no other ever could had 'died', that it's his fault, that he could do that to them... Or just lets them think the worst of V as their final lasting impression or mark on this world. Doesn't try to defend himself nor V. He just leaves. Just takes it.

And you would think. You would think the one he would at least tell is Kerry. That the one to actually understand the most would be Kerry. I don't think any of the other love interests could get the whole engram situation like him, they don't have that personal history or connection to the code on the relic like he did after all. Kerry knew Johnny. Enough at least. But Johnny doesn't tell him, and Kerry just thinks V ghosted off on him and Johnny just lets him think that. And it just makes you wonder.. why would Johnny do that? Why would he do any of this?

I had so much fun with this custom! Definitely had some hiccups here and there...pretty much right at the end which was a bummer... but I'm obsessed with her! I have a couple more MH X LPS customs I'm itching to start when I get the time!

#monster high #monster high gen 1 #littlest pet shop #lps custom #clawdeen wolf #toralei stripe #toradeen #id in alt #i love her with all my heart my god did i have a hard time towards the end of the project lol #all of the painting went really really well #i had a little trouble with the eyes initially cuz i used the wrong kinda paint but overall it was a great time #of course up until i finished it all and it was time to seal the paint #i use a good matte varnish but the problem was i forgot to water it down #so it kinda globbed up and dried really unevenly...she has some white spots where it pooled and dried #annoying and i was mildly devastated but you cant really tell #getting her head back on though....MY GOD #i couldn't get it back on for the life of me...i almost damaged the neck peg and absolutely destroyed the paint job on her chest #finally resorted to boiling water and that worked #then i had to try to mix up a fresh batch of paint to match as close as possible to her fur color #which i wasnt super successful at...but i was so over it at that point #i still love how she came out but im still so shook at how it fell apart right at the end #next one i do im not separating the head from the body fuck that lol #so yeah those were the trials and tribulations of this project #there are so many id like to do but im kinda limited by the blank lps molds i can find on aliexpress

YOU GUYS my surgery results came back and i got the all clear!

#10 cancers to remove instead of what's usually 3 and none of them need re-cutting!!!#an MIRACLE compared to last year when they kept fucking up and the 3 i needed taking out resulted in like 4 surgeries and 5 skin grafts #i was so worried because usually they dont find more than 3 at a time and this time to have so many i thought i was going to struggle so bad #recovery is still going to take weeks but it's SUCH a relief knowing i can just LET myself recover without stressing over the next session #and now i can let me my hair grow back too 🥹#i should clarify it's clear until my next regular 6 month check up BUT STILL winning #personal

we both wore sweaters that i knitted to our dinner date last night. her, in a hazy blueish off-shoulder top and glossy lipstick, and me in a sea glass green turtleneck and my grandfather’s leather jacket. i still get nervous butterflies in the pit of my stomach around her sometimes, even though we have been together for nearly six years and lived together for two. she is so beautiful, it becomes hard to think. we dipped slices of cucumber into foamy dill yogurt and took turns pitching log cabins to visit in the woods for our next vacation. we ate perfectly salted steak frites and the best burger we’ve tried since moving to the city and shared a creamy scoop of turtle latte ice cream. when we returned to the apartment dripping with rain, the cat and dog wound around our legs as if we had been gone for days.
