Just watched “TRASH FRIENDS” and the thumbnail really made me think this was going to be an episode focusing on the way Mario has been treated by Smg4 and his friends (at least that’s how I see it) but I wasn’t expecting an episode about Smg3’s insecurities and fears (mostly insecurities)

I really was caught lacking because I was expecting something and I got the opposite lmao. I should be familiar with this guy’s content already and know that the only thing expected from these episodes is the unexpected xD, but anyways back to talking about the video.

In previous episodes we see that he gets a little bit of customers such as in the episode “You used to be cool” and “CEO OF RIZZ” but in this last mentioned episode he tries to advertise his café after Boopkins’s date works out in the end and so does the same in “SMG4’s NEWS.”

At first you think “Maybe he wants more than what he has” but after watching this episode you realize he’s actually struggling with his business and last weeks episode you change your view from his actions and see him as more desperate rather than greedy after watching this latest ep.

Constantly trying to get more people into his café and taking every single chance he can see to advertise no matter the place or time, like life depends on it.

And talking about chances ._.xD

Smg4 comes to this guy’s café for his help to get his “Michael Jordan Endorsement Video” back because boi lost it and he wants Smg3’s help because their “FRIENDS”

Of course Smg3 saw this as a chance to advertise his café because HOLY SHIT MICHAEL JORDAD!!! A famous basketball player that anyone would want to have the chance to meet and that’s a chance that Smg3 is willing to take because it means his business would BLOW UP *someone throws them a chair*

Btw when Mario shows up to offer his help, I expected Smg4 to be more happy that he has his avatar buddy always trying to help him but instead…

Don’t get me wrong, I know they got a little weirded out about the fact that Mario is a regular around the Junkyard due to him eating at that location but still, that dialogue still sort of hurt me man qwp

But anyways back to my review of this episode and giving my acoustic povs that nobody asked for.

They arrive at the junkyard and after being there for 5 seconds, they find the legendary pokemon that goes by the name of “Michael Jordan Endorsement Video” (sorry for my weak ass jokes, I just woke up and my humor is a little broken rn)

After having the video on sight, Mario pulls a Yoshi and beats the crap out of the spaghetti plate where the video so happened to land on, in one go. Obviously, causing the other two to try and force the USB out of him but both failed as Mario did a BLJ through the trash and forcing 3 & 4 to dig through everything to find him.

Now… the part I was dying to talk about and hopefully I can let out my thoughts the proper way.

As the two spend an entire evening just digging through trash, they start a friendly conversation until Smg4 touches the Smg3’s CnB topic which causes Smg3 to get nervous and lie about everything being fine because he has something that every human being has unfortunately, ✨I N S E C U R I T I E S✨.

Which I understand because bruh, 3’s been seen as a bad copy of 4 who’s the total opposite of him for a good piece of his life, if not his ENTIRE existence and now that’s he’s going through a change in his life for the better, he’s going to face a lot of these insecurity episodes because he’s so used to being seen as the bad guy, the bad copy, The Villain. Always people seeing what 4 does and never looking what 3 does which got him into that dark path.

Is like the Sun and the Moon kind of thing. The Sun (Smg4) can shine the brightest while the moon (Smg3) is just a floating rock shining the least. I’ll bring this up again at the end of the review.

But yeah, Smg3 has insecurities and is more shown when they reach the entrance of Mario’s hiding spot.

After that night Yuji Itadori saved Junpei Yoshino from Mahito, he decided to his path to become a jujutsu sorcerer, starting as a student at the JJT (Jujutsu High in Tokyo). After all Itadori talked him into attending the JJT. He made some new friends, especially Nobora Kugisaki and Megumi Fushiguro.

It was because of Itadori who made it possible for him to become one of the first years with Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobora Kugisaki. Obviously Junpei has a jellyfish shikigami (aka Moon Dregs), which was why he was glad was glad he was able to enroll in JJT. Thanks to Itadori, it was one of the best decisions of his life.

One day Gojo announced there is a new first year student of the JJT, as he then said, "Don't be shy... You can come in the classroom now..". When you first came in the classroom, Megumi slightly smiled, while Junpei, Itadori, and Nobora were all excited that Gojo will introduce a new student to meet, especially if it's you. Gojo then explained, "My first years... This is (they/them reader name)... Now, you may take your seat, (they/them reader name).".

You went to sit in a desk next to Junpei. In first sight, (even though he found you cute) he knew something about you that gives off good vibes, however senses something might have happened in your past. He still knew something about your soul that is kind.

After class was over Junpei offered to walk you home, which you told him yes. Junpei then said, "By the way... My name's Junpei Yoshino... If there's anything you need and need to talk about, I will do my best to try and be there for you, (they/them reader name)...". "Okay, Junpei...", you replied, as you smiled at him.

While Junpei was walking you home, he asked, "So, (they/them reader name ), if you don't mind me being curious, what was your life like before you came to JJT and what inspired you to want to become a jujutsu sorcerer?". You were surprised anyone has ever asked that, so you answered, "Well, Junpei... When I was in the elementary school that I attending, I accidentally let out my cursed technique, as my the teacher told my parents about it one day, so my parents... Not so much my mom, however more my dad mentioned that I can't use it, even by accident, so I repressed my cursed technique for rest of my elementary school years and part of middle school until the day we ended up needing to move to Tokyo, which my father somehow ended up needing a job in Japan and he somehow got hired to work at JJk, I think he makes lunches, I'm not sure. I assume that since my father is an amazing cook. What inspired me to attend JJT? Well I secretly snuck into the JJK to see what it looks like... Well don't tell anyone I snuck there nor saw this... I remember seeing this man named Yuta and the one he loved named Rika, battle against this Geto guy and eversince their battle, I feel Yuta and Rika are secretly the reason why I started to attend JJT.". Junpei happily replied, "That's pretty cool to hear. I'm glad this Yuta person and Rika gave you inspiration, even if neither of them know, yet."

You then asked, "What about you, Junpei? What got you to want to become a jujutsu sorcerer?". Junpei then answered, "You see, (they/them reader name)... I was frequently bullied for a long time in horrible ways, then when I met this person who killed three of the bullies in the movie theater, all this person did was manipulate me... However eversince I met the other first year, named Itadori, I knew he was my first friend somehow... If it wasn't for him, I would have hurt every innocent person in the school I was attending, even the person I thought who killed my mother... You see... After Itadori showed me the light and encouraged me to attend JJT, this person showed up and he turned out to be a bad person... After I tried attacking thinking one of the other students was the one who killed my mother... After Itadori showed me the light and encouraged me... I saw this bad person, which was the moment I realized he's really the person who killed my mother... He tried to kill me, however Itadori somehow punched him... And that Namami guy showed up not, too long afterwards. The both of them just somehow managed to defeat him and protect me... So, I knew that since these moments happened, I want to attend JJT and become a jujutsu sorcerer someday...". You smiled and replied, "Well, I'm glad you're okay, Junpei... And I'm also happy you had some inspiration to attend there, since you did came to the right place...".

Since, that conversation you had with Junpei that day, the both of you knew you and him are both soulmates who are meant to be. After the both of you graduated JJT, the both of you got your own place and as time went by the both of you started to have a relationship together. So, the both of you sometimes go on dates together.

A few years went by, both you and Junpei decided to get married together. After the both of you got married, life just became really peaceful for the both of you. Now the both of you will be able to grow together for a very, long time.

So I just watched Little Witch Academia, and what I learned is that lesbian drama alone has the power to either doom or save the world!!!

But seriously, why would Diana be by Akko's side at the end of it all, instead of her best friends, if not for gay reasons?? They even said the spell together! Literally every time Diana was on the screen, I was like, "these witches gay as hell; good for them." I kept expecting that to stop being the case, but they only got gayer!

And Andrew was there as the token Desirable Male, but he was not putting any effort into that role lol. He was like, "I will attract a couple of background characters at most."

I feel that the show lacked some depth, but it was pretty good!! Probably my favorite episodes were the stealth Christmas episode one where they visit Lotte's family, and the arc where Akko goes to Diana's home. Oh, I also really liked the one about Akko working with Constanze! 😊 That friendship was super sweet and I wouldn't've minded seeing more of it.

It's actually been a really long time since I watched the first season, so I don't remember if any of it stood out to me 😅 I think I found it less interesting, though?

OH and the fact that Akko gave her whole support to the fairy workers' union was very fun and cool, I actually think that should've been treated as a more serious character development moment, instead of the jokier tone that it had, but I appreciated it nonetheless. Like, she was literally being more selfless and compassionate than any other witch at the school? But everyone was like, "oh, Akko and her wacky antics!" Also, why was everyone always calling her selfish all the time?? She was literally not. She did sometimes have trouble seeing past her own goals, but often those goals involved helping other people, so?? She pretty much always wanted everyone to succeed!

Anyway, Akko has undiagnosed ADHD, and I personally resented every time a character acted like she had some kind of ~attitude problem~, or something, and that's why she struggled, when she was literally trying SO hard all the time and didn't have the huge advantage of being raised in a witch family like literally everyone else!!!

But yeah, overall, cute, fun, and almost entirely about women! 👍 (these are my personal criteria, obviously)

My full, unfiltered review of episode 1 of GnLoss:

To preface this, I did not watch it for any ill intent if anyone thinks I did. I watched it because I love horror and had been casually interested since the concept was announced two years ago. I went into this hoping for something to entertain me and was unfortunately disappointed, and this is all my own subjective opinion. If you genuinely liked it I'm happy for you

To start with some of the things I did like, I liked when the camera was higher quality and the effects of when R.anb.oo walked through the door into the green room, or especially when they were on the beach. I liked the look of it, especially with the lone door. I found the effect of the fabric wall when Charlie was pushing against it to give a bit of a spooky look (though this enjoyment ended quickly when the camera showed how the effect was made and it was immediately made into a joke. This wouldn't have been as much of a problem to me if the rest of the episode wasn't like this as well), and I laughed a couple of times when Charlie told a joke. I also liked the very final scene, again when Ra.nbo.o goes through the door and the camera is higher quality and then they get sedated, cool shot 👍

Other than that, the only word I can think of when I look back on it is boring. I felt that it lacked any substance or comedy or horror. And to be very clear, I am the number one defender for stories that use the first episode/season/act to establish the characters and setting more. Like I am completely okay with that because I'm someone who values the characters in a story more than the story itself, if I care about the characters I can live with a mediocre story, but I can't live with a great story if I can't stand/don't care for the characters. So I am completely fine with that, but the problem with gnlss is that it barely establishes any of that.

I'm watching this story and I don't care who these characters are or what happens to them or what they do. You can trade any of the characters out with any other one and it would still be the same for me. And it's especially a problem with Ra.nbo.o, our protagonist, because the audience is meant to care that he doesn't get hurt, like we physically have to care enough to make the right choices but he has absolutely no personality and you could change him for a brick wall and get the same character.

And one of the most glaring issues with it is obviously the quality. I've seen lots of people say that it was done on purpose, but if that's the case then it needs to be so bad that it's obviously on purpose. It's like if you draw a straight line without a ruler, it will almost always come out crooked and sloppy, but when someone sees that they will automatically think you tried to make a straight line and failed. Which is why if you're doing it on purpose, you make the line squiggly because then people will glance at it and know that it was on purpose. It's the same thing with the acting, Charlie did his best but he did not have any help when trying to work with Sn.ee.g or Ra.nbo.o and their very flat performances, R being especially guilty of not using the very first and basic rule of improv: to say "yes, and". And it's especially disappointing because I was never expecting professional acting from twitch streamers at all, but I know that R can do better because while it wasn't amazing their lore streams were leagues above their acting in this. And again, over and over again I see "it's bad on purpose" but that can only be used as an excuse so many times.

If everything is mediocre and the only excuse is "it's on purpose" then all you did is make something mediocre. I've also seen some people say that what they did was impressive given their resources they had, but this show was funded by an entire company, created by a millionaire, and has been in the works for two years. This isn't a small indie project created by one person, it has a budget and it used it all on a mask that you can't even hear him out of. The constant change in camera quality when switching between live stuff and pre recorded stuff was extremely jarring, and only made it more glaringly obvious how poorly shot the live sections were, I really wish they stayed with the higher quality or at the very least kept it consistent.

And to top it off, it's just not what it had been promo'd as. The promos set expectations that were so far from what we got that I can't believe these are meant to be the same projects. If I watched it with no knowledge that it was meant to be a horror project then I would have no idea, the fact that I could not tell you the actual genre of it within the first (and from what Ra.nbo.o is describing the next episode is gonna be, the second as well) is a problem. If they didn't want the first episode to be focused on horror, that's fine, but there still needs to be something there. Like, the very first scene could have been a scary compilation of vague clips showing what happened to him and how he got in the house, and if executed well could then blend fine into the goofy story. It's also just. Painfully unfunny. You can tell they're trying to tell jokes and to make it funny, so it hurts more when you don't even crack a smile until an hour in.

I was hoping the second episode would go more into the lore or horror, but Ra.nbo.o has said that this next one is meant to be sillier which is incredibly disappointing and will most likely cause a huge tone problem for the third episode if 2/3s of your horror series is unfunny comedy.

in regards to your bruce horak post, i always loved him as hemmer but i hated how snw did the trope of killing off the disabled character for no reason just to support other character's character development 😑 (i also hate how uhura in turn is used as a prop for the white characters sometimes but that's besides the point)

also the klingon........ why the fuck is star trek still putting white actors in brownface when they play klingons jeez. shouldn't they know that that's bad by now

i saw so many people praising and getting excited for the musical episode, i was excited when i heard Bruce Horak had returned for a cameo, and i considered skipping ahead just to watch that episode... until i saw someone mention bruce was playing garkog, and the character was him in blackface, and then i was just disgusted lol.

i know people hated the discovery redesign of klingons, and i will admit that i am not very well informed on why exactly that is, but the one thing thst came to my mind when i saw them, was that at the very least by switching to more fantastical and less human skin tones, they could steer the franchise away from the tradition of klingons being played by white actors in blackface...i guess when fans protested the design change, paramount took that to mean that audiences wanted black face back. after all, how can you say you miss "tng era klingons" without evoking Robert o'reilly as gowron and suzie plakson playing k'ehleyr?

also regarding Uhura. i have to ask this every time snw comes up but how fucking weird was that scene where spock tried to shame her into leaving starfleet because he thought she didnt deserve her position because he perceived her as not working hard enough for it........... i admit i dont have a great memory of that scene but like what the hell was going on lmao.

Ahem ahem, If I may rant a bit about Little Nightmares 3 with my thoughts on the trailer announcement + my predictions on how the game will go... cause I'm still freaking out and I'm so excited for this

Kind of a deserted, post apocalyptic theme, possibly associated with dangers of radiation or toxic waste of some sorts? I assumed because of Alone's gas mask design especially + Low's design is very post apocalyptic-like, and also from some of the enemies in the trailer. (Specifically about the obviously unnaturally big doll monster, and the bunch of human hands that crawled out of the sewer kinda resembling a humanoid spider creature for all we can see, maybe some of the enemies have been affected by whatever bigger danger this story may try to convey. I mean, characters from previous games were also unnatural looking, but for what I remember their designs and stories were fit of that very dark supernatural theme, as for this one in contrast seems to be going on a different kind of territory IN the means of supernatural, mixing a bit of more ""realistic"" tones to it)

The official podcast "the sounds of nightmares" seem to be going on a scientific/psychological evaluation and or experiments route, which I think grounds the story a little more, but at the same time I have NO idea how its narrative is going to relate to the game's itself lol something about dreams... hmmm

There is mirror travelling ig, that's super cool, but so far, I got no idea what it means 👍

I thought it would be a risky decision to leave the primary claustrophobic environment of the previous games and chose to go for a brighter, more "open world"(?) look for the main characters to adventure on, but at the same time, this setting can still be well explored on a horror perspective, despite me not seeing much of this theme being executed at all in any media I've consumed so far lol. I imagine it could be a great opportunity to contrast jumps between the game's levels, as in one stage you're out on the open desert and the other you fall into a darker area to explore through

Although I have my criticisms on some of Supermassive games' stuff, I'm still very fond of their work and takes on horror videogames in general, so I trust little nightmares 3 is in very good hands 👍

I believe we're not going to/are barely going to see Mono or Six in this story. Their arc was pretty well constructed beggining to end, but the lack of appearances of the two, at least for me, is not a negative thing at all! I think Low and Alone's story is going to focus on the world building through different lenses rather than exploring further what we already knew before. Mono and Six may be vaguely mentioned but not crucial to the sequel ig

I watched a full gameplay of the first and second game like, years ago- and only now I got the opportunity to play LN by myself. I finished the first game, went half of the dlc (I'm taking a break from it bcs it's so difficult for me and the switch version takes almost a full minute to reload after I die..) and I'm currently mid way through the second, although I still remember most of the stuff that will happen in its story. I'm following the episodes of the recent podcast, and I'm going to seach for the webcomic for me to read, yahooooo!!!

Noting down things on my rewatch of Season 1 of Good Omens

While watching that scene where God explained that "it was like playing poker in a pitch-dark room, with a dealer who won't tell you the rules and who smiles all the time" and so many things appeared on the screen I just imagined how long it took to edit/make that whole scene.

In the book it's mentioned that Crowley's remark "You're an angel, I don't think you can do the wrong thing" is supposed to be sarcastic but Aziraphale doesn't notice. Well then I guess I'm like Aziraphale because I also did not and continue to not notice the sarcasm there unless I really watch out for it then slightly I guess.

Rewatching I feel like Eve opening her eyes after taking a bite of the apple is given even more underlinement than when Adam does it. Especially also through the sound effect in the background

I didn't even remember that Ligur & Hastur came out of the ground. To do it on a graveyard too like they....rose from the dead. Yeah cool symbolism or something 👍

Hastur with his flaming hand to light is cigarette is also cool. Once again thinking about editing and special effects etc. etc.

We (me and some irl friends in school lul) were like throwing together what we'd find cool for a second season especially or if we just had filler episodes and it came down to me gesturing around and ranting to them why "Something rotten" is a great musical and they should listen to the music of "Falsetto" and the ham4ham with Joel Perez xD

I told them I'd die for a duet between these two and on that accord I made a 6 minute audio message when, screaming, when I watched the ep for the first time xD 👍

I didn't really know Joel Perez before Hazbin but now I love him and the moment I heard Christian Borle was gonna play Vox I immediately knew Vox was gonna be one of my favourites xD

Right, okay so.... I watched Day of the Doctor for the first time ever (yes, I'm quite new to Doctor Who and I never really got to watch this special all the way through until now BUT - )

I'm gonna start rambling for a bit, so really sorry about that but OHH MY GOD I LOVED IT SM!!!! >.< Imo, considering it was a 50th anniversary special, it really delivered on that, it was so entertaining and fun! I loved all the little jokes, the fun references and the expansion on the Time War, it was just *chefs kiss* :3

I loved the War Doctor too, he was really intriguing to me!

I remember before I watched this, I never fully knew why he wasn't counted with the other doctors (yk, like how we have Third Doctor, Eighth Doctor, etc), but I get it now, I understand 😅👍

It was also really sad how the Doctor sort of distanced themself from that regeneration because they hated being reminded of the Time War, like that was really sad ngl :"(

Again, I'm not like majorly attached to War Doctor because we don't have much material to go off tbh, but I still like him a lot, he's a cool guy!

And OMFG THE FRIENDSHIP DYNAMIC BETWEEN TEN AND ELEVEN, I QKDNWJDJSJND 😆😭💗

Wolverine and the x men Emma frost : Emma frost is phenomenal and that she has two mutant powers and I loved 🥰 her relationship with the x men and how they went from reluctant Allies to friends and that she is a powerful telepath and how she cares for Scott and the x men and she is strict but kind and that she owns her own company and created her own version of a school 🏫 for mutants .

X men evolution Jean grey : Jean grey is another of my favorite characters from x men evolution and I loved 🥰 how she considered the x men her family and her bonds with Scott, Ororo and the rest of the x men and I Also loved 🥰 seeing Jean and the x men girls forming their own group, the bayville sirens 🚨 and how she is an intelligent and loving 🥰 person.

Glimmer she -ra and the princesses of power: glimmer is one of my favorite 🤩 characters and I loved 🥰 her relationship with bow and adora and their friendship squad is peak friendship goals and how she is a flawed and relatable character who is the literal sunshine ☀️ of the group and how she cares for everyone and is willing to give others a second chance and her character development throughout the show.
